| 1 | Three new zinc(Ⅱ) coordination polymers:Modulation of extended structures driven by assistant ligands显示文摘Three new complexes, [Zn(dtb)(4,4'-bipy)]·5H2O (1), [Zn(dtb)(bpp)]·H2O (2) and [Zn(dtb)(phen)2]·CH3CH2OH·H2O (3) (dtb = 5,5'-dithiobis(2-nitrobenzoic acid), 4,4'-bipy = 4,4'-bipyridine, bpp = 1,3-bi(4-pyridyl) propane, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), have been constructed by dtb ligand and zinc salt in the presence of different assistant N-containing ligands under hydrothermal conditions. The structures of the complexes were established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Although compounds 1 and 2 are both 2D networks, the cavities’ forms and pitch of helix are different. The structure of compound 3 shows a 1D helical chain, and is extended by the supermolecule interactions into a 2D framework. | 2 | Target-triggered inhibiting oxidase-mimicking activity of platinum nanoparticles for ultrasensitive colorimetric detection of silver ion显示文摘The development of efficient methods for the detection of hazardous and toxic elements is extremely important for environmental security and public health. In this work, we developed a facile colorimetric assaying system for Ag+ detection in aqueous solution. Chitosan-stabilized platinum nanoparticles(ChPtNPs) were synthesized and severed as an artificial oxidase to catalyze the oxidation of the substrate3,30,5,50-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB) and generate color signal. In the presence of Ag+, due to the strong metallophilic interactions between Ag+ and Pt2+ on the surface of Ch-PtNPs, Ag+ can weaken the affinity to the substrates and inactivate the catalytic activity of Ch-PtNPs, leading to decreased absorbance signal to varying degrees depending on Ag+ amount. Combing the specific binding between Ch-PtNPs and Ag+ with signal amplification procedure based on the Ch-PtNPs-catalyzed TMB oxidation, a sensitive,selective, simple, cost-effective, and rapid detection method for Ag+ can be realized. Ag+ ions in tap and lake waters have been successfully detected. | 3 | Crack-free single-crystalline Co-free Ni-rich LiNi_(0.95)Mn_(0.05)O_(2) layered cathode显示文摘The rapid growth in global electric vehicles(EVs)sales has promoted the development of Co-free,Ni-rich layered cathodes for state-of-the-art high energy-density,inexpensive lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).However,progress in their commercial use has been seriously hampered by exasperating performance deterioration and safety concerns.Herein,a robust single-crystalline,Co-free,Ni-rich LiNi_(0.95)Mn_(0.05)O_(2)(SC-NM95)cathode is successfully designed using a molten salt-assisted method,and it exhibits better structural stability and cycling durability than those of polycrystalline LiNi_(0.95)Mn_(0.05)O_(2) (PC-NM95).Notably,the SC-NM95 cathode achieves a high discharge capacity of 218.2 mAh g^(-1),together with a high energy density of 837.3 Wh kg^(-1) at 0.1 C,mainly due to abundant Ni^(2+)/Ni^(3+) redox.It also presents an outstanding capacity retention(84.4%)after 200 cycles at 1 C,because its integrated single-crystalline structure effectively inhibits particle microcracking and surface phase transformation.In contrast,the PC-NM95 cathode suffers from rapid capacity fading owing to the nucleation and propagation of intergranular microcracking during cycling,facilitating aggravated parasitic reactions and rocksalt phase accumulation.This work provides a fundamental strategy for designing high-performance singlecrystalline,Co-free,Ni-rich cathode materials and also represents an important breakthrough in developing high-safe,low-cost,and high-energy LIBs. | Lianshan Ni Ruiting Guo Susu Fang Jun Chen Jinqiang Gao Yu Mei Shu Zhang Wentao Deng Guoqiang Zou Hongshuai Hou Xiaobo Ji | 2022 | eScience2022,2,1: | 2 |

| 8 | Comparison of short period InAs/GaSb superlattices on GaSb and GaAs substrates显示文摘Type II superlattices (SLs) short period InAs(4ML)/GaSb(8ML) were grown by molecular-beam epitaxy on lattice-mismatched GaAs substrates and on GaSb substrates. A smooth GaSb epilayer was formed on GaAs substrates by inserting mulit-buffer layers including an interfacial misfit mode AlSb quantum dot layer and AlSb/GaSb superlattices smooth layer. SLs grown on GaAs substrates (GaAs-based SLs) showed well-resolved satellite peaks in XRD. GaSb-based SLs with better structural quality and smoother surface showed strong photoluminescence at 2.55 μm with a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 20 meV, narrower than 31 meV of GaAs-based SLs. Inferior optical absorption of GaAs-based SL was observed in the range of 2―3 μm. | 14 | Linc-RAM is a metabolic regulator maintaining whole-body energy homeostasis in mice显示文摘Long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)are known to have profound functions in regulating cell fate specification,cell differentiation,organogenesis,and disease,but their physiological roles in controlling cellular metabolism and whole-body metabolic homeostasis are less well understood.We previously identified a skeletal muscle-specific long intergenic noncoding RNA(linc-RNA)activator of myogenesis,Linc-RAM,which enhances muscle cell differentiation during development and regeneration.Here,we report that Linc-RAM exerts a physiological function in regulating skeletal muscle metabolism and the basal metabolic rate to maintain whole-body metabolic homeostasis.We first demonstrate that Linc-RAM is preferentially expressed in type-II enriched glycolytic myofibers,in which its level is more than 60-fold higher compared to that in differentiated myotubes.Consistently,genetic deletion of the Linc-RAM gene in mice increases the expression levels of genes encoding oxidative fiber versions of myosin heavy chains and decreases those of genes encoding rate-limiting enzymes for glycolytic metabolism.Physiologically,Linc-RAM-knockout mice exhibit a higher basal metabolic rate,elevated insulin sensitivity and reduced fat deposition compared to their wild-type littermates.Together,our findings indicate that Linc-RAM is a metabolic regulator of skeletal muscle metabolism and may represent a potential pharmaceutical target for preventing and/or treating metabolic diseases,including obesity. | Qianying Zhang Lili Zhai Qian Chen Yixia Zhao Ruiting Wang Hu Li Tian Gao Meihong Chen Dahai Zhu Yong Zhang | 2022 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,11: | 0 |
| 15 | Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector.Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements,such as its low-energy threshold,high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors,and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors.In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable,assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition,approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected.This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter,which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle.Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better,depending on the central value,and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. | 17 | SHP-1 acts as a tumor suppressor by interacting with EGFR and predicts the prognosis of human breast cancer显示文摘Objective:The aims of this study were to examine the prognostic value of SHP-1 in breast cancer,its roles in the regulation of breast cancer cell growth and metastasis,and the underlying mechanisms.Methods:Tumor specimens from 160 patients with breast cancer and 160 noncancerous tissues were used to examine the expression of SHP-1 and to analyze its association with overall survival through Kaplan–Meier and multivariate Cox regression analyses.RNA sequencing data and the expression and clinical importance of SHP-1 in breast cancer were evaluated with data from The Cancer Genome Atlas.In vitro and in vivo assays were performed to elucidate the effects of SHP-1 on breast cancer cell proliferation and invasion.Confocal immunofluorescence and GST pulldown assays were used to demonstrate the interaction between SHP-1 and epidermal growth factor receptor,as well as its downstream pathways.Immunohistochemistry and The Cancer Genome Atlas database were used to investigate the clinical association between SHP-1 and EGFR in human breast cancer.Results:SHP-1 expression was associated with better survival in patients with breast cancer,whereas SHP-1 expression was negatively correlated with EGFR in human breast cancer.Ectopic SHP-1 expression significantly suppressed breast cancer cell proliferation,migration,and invasion.SHP-1 knockdown induced a more invasive phenotype and accelerated cell growth.Mechanistically,EGFR,a protein directly interacting with SHP-1,mediates the SHP-1-induced inactivation of Ras/Erk/GSK3βsignaling and its downstream effectors.Conclusions:SHP-1 is an important prognostic biomarker in patients with breast cancer,and the SHP-1-EGFR axis is a promising target for treatment. | Qian Geng Ruiting Xian Yinjue Yu Fengsheng Chen Rong Li | 2022 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,4: | 0 |
