1Review on flexible photonics/electronics integrated devices and fabrication strategy显示文摘In recent years, to meet the greater demand for next generation electronic devices that are transplantable, lightweight and portable, flexible and large-scale integrated electronics attract much more attention have been of interest in both industry and academia. Organic electronics and stretchable inorganic electronics are the two major branches of flexible electronics. With the semiconductive and flexible properties of the organic semiconductor materials, flexible organic electronics have become a mainstay of our technology.Compared to organic electronics, stretchable and flexible inorganic electronics are fabricated via mechanical design with inorganic electronic components on flexible substrates, which have stretchability and flexibility to enable very large deformations without degradation of performance. This review summarizes the recent progress on fabrication strategies, such as hydrodynamic organic nanowire printing and inkjet-assisted nanotransfer printing of flexible organic electronics, and screen printing, soft lithography and transfer printing of flexible inorganic electronics. 2A flexible skin-mounted wireless acoustic device for bowel sounds monitoring and evaluation显示文摘Conventional methods of intestinal inspection play an essential role in the assessment of bowel diseases and other relevant health issues, yet fail to obtain intestinal conditions in real time because of radiation limits and operation inconvenience. Herein, a flexible, skin-mounted device is developed for longterm, real-time monitoring, and for the evaluation of bowel sounds based on the integration of a threedimensional printed elastomeric resonator with flexible electronics. The device is capable of being flexibly attached to abdominal surfaces without performance degradation during breathing. Clinical tests conduct in a normal volunteer and in patients with mechanical intestinal obstruction or paralytic ileus illustrate the usefulness of the device in capturing the characteristics of bowel sounds. 3Safety of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines:a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials显示文摘Background Various modalities of vaccines against coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),based on different platforms and immunization procedures,have been successively approved for marketing worldwide.A comprehensive review for clinical trials assessing the safety of COVID-19 vaccines is urgently needed to make an accurate judgment for mass vaccination.Main text A systematic review and meta-analysis was conducted to determine the safety of COVID-19 vaccine candidates in randomized controlled trials(RCTs).Data search was performed in PubMed,Embase,Cochrane library,Scopus,Web of Science,and MedRxiv.Included articles were limited to RCTs on COVID-19 vaccines.A total of 73,633 subjects from 14 articles were included to compare the risks of adverse events following immunization(AEFI)after vaccinating different COVID-19 vaccines.Pooled risk ratios(RR)of total AEFI for inactivated vaccine,viral-vectored vaccine,and mRNA vaccine were 1.34[95%confidence interval(CI)1.11–1.61,P<0.001],1.65(95%CI 1.31–2.07,P<0.001),and 2.01(95%CI 1.78–2.26,P<0.001),respectively.No significant differences on local and systemic AEFI were found between the first dose and second dose.In addition,people aged≤55 years were at significantly higher risk of AEFI than people aged≥56 years,with a pooled RR of 1.25(95%CI 1.15–1.35,P<0.001).Conclusions The safety and tolerance of current COVID-19 vaccine candidates are acceptable for mass vaccination,with inactivated COVID-19 vaccines candidates having the lowest reported AEFI.Long-term surveillance of vaccine safety is required,especially among elderly people with underlying medical conditions.Musha Chen Yue Yuan Yiguo Zhou Zhaomin Deng Jin Zhao Fengling Feng Huachun Zou Caijun Sun 2021Infectious Diseases of Poverty2021,10,4:2
4Ectopic expression of antifreeze protein gene from Ammopiptanthus nanus confers chilling tolerance in maize显示文摘Improved chilling tolerance is important for maize production. Previous efforts in transgenics and marker-assisted breeding have not achieved practical results. In this study, the antifreeze protein(AnAFP) from the super-xerophyte Ammopiptanthus nanus was aligned to KnS-type dehydrins.Phosphorylation in vitro and subcellular localization showed that AnAFP was phosphorylated by maize casein kinase II and translocated from nucleus to cytoplasm under chilling stress. AnAFP also increased lactate dehydrogenase activity. A parent line of commercial maize hybrids was transformed with the AnAFP gene. Based on thermal asymmetric interlaced PCR, one hemizygous and two homozygous integration sites were identified in one T_(1) line. Ectopic expression of AnAFP in transgenic lines was confirmed by quantitative real-time PCR, RNA-seq, and Western blotting. After chilling treatment, the transgenic lines showed significantly improved phenotype, higher kernel production, survival rate and biomass, and lower relative electrolyte leakage and superoxide dismutation than the untransformed line. 8The genome-wide landscape of small insertion and deletion mutations in Monopterus albus显示文摘Insertion and deletion(indel) mutations, which can trigger single nucleotide substitutions on the flanking regions of genes, may generate abundant materials for disease defense, reproduction, species survival and evolution. However, genetic and evolutionary mechanisms of indels remain elusive. We establish a comparative genome-transcriptome-alignment approach for a large-scale identification of indels in Monopterus population. Over 2000 indels in 1738 indel genes, including 1-21 bp deletions and 1-15 bp insertions, were detected. Each indel gene had ~1.1 deletions/insertions, and 2-4 alleles in population. Frequencies of deletions were prominently higher than those of insertions on both genome and population levels. Most of the indels led to in frame mutations with multiples of three and majorly occurred in non-domain regions, indicating functional constraint or tolerance of the indels. All indel genes showed higher expression levels than non-indel genes during sex reversal. Slide window analysis of global expression levels in gonads showed a significant positive correlation with indel density in the genome. Moreover, indel genes were evolutionarily conserved and evolved slowly compared to nonindel genes. 9Highly Reversible Zn Metal Anodes Enabled by Increased Nucleation Overpotential显示文摘Dendrite formation severely compromises further development of zinc ion batteries. Increasing the nucleation overpotential plays a crucial role in achieving uniform deposition of metal ions. However, this strategy has not yet attracted enough attention from researchers to our knowledge. Here, we propose that thermodynamic nucleation overpotential of Zn deposition can be boosted through complexing agent and select sodium L-tartrate(Na-L) as example. Theoretical and experimental characterization reveals L-tartrate anion can partially replace H_(2)O in the solvation sheath of Zn^(2+), increasing de-solvation energy. Concurrently, the Na^(+) could absorb on the surface of Zn anode preferentially to inhibit the deposition of Zn^(2+) aggregation. In consequence, the overpotential of Zn deposition could increase from 32.2 to 45.1 mV with the help of Na-L. The Zn-Zn cell could achieve a Zn utilization rate of 80% at areal capacity of 20 mAh cm^(-2). Zn-LiMn_(2)O_(4) full cell with Na-L additive delivers improved stability than that with blank electrolyte. 10Facile synthesis of metal and alloy nanoparticles by ultrasound-assisted dealloying of metallic glasses显示文摘Metal and alloy nanoparticles synthesized by chemical reduction have attracted increasing attention due to their superior physical,chemical,and biological properties.However,most chemical synthesis processes rely on the use of harsh reducing agents and complicated chemical ingredients.Herein,we report a novel reduction-agent-free and surfactant(stabilizer)-free strategy to synthesize Cu,Ag,Au,Cu-Pt,Cu-Au,Cu-Au-Pt-Pd,and Au-Pt-Pd-Cu nanoparticles by ultrasound-assisted dealloying of Mgbased metallic glasses.The formation mechanism of the metal and alloy nanoparticles is revealed by a detailed investigation of sequential intermediate products.We demonstrate that the glass-liquid phase transition of the initially dealloying metallic glasses,together with the synergistic effect of dealloying and ultrasound-driven ligament-breakage of small enough nanoporous intermediates,play key roles in preparing the uniformly dispersed metal and alloy nanoparticles.This approach greatly simplifies the up-scaling synthesis of monometallic and bimetallic nanoparticles,and also provides a general strategy for synthesizing unprecedented multimetallic nanoparticles.Yuan-Yun Zhao Feng Qian Wenfeng Shen Chengliang Zhao Jianguo Wang Chunxiao Xie Fengling Zhou Chuntao Chang Yanjun Li 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,23:0
11Modulation of Antiviral Immunity and Therapeutic Efficacy by 25-Hydroxycholesterol in Chronically SIV-Infected, ART-Treated Rhesus Macaques显示文摘Cholesterol-25-hydroxylase(CH25 H)and its enzymatic product 25-hydroxy cholesterol(25 HC)exert broadly antiviral activity including inhibiting HIV-1 infection.However,their antiviral immunity and therapeutic efficacy in a nonhuman primate model are unknown.Here,we report that the regimen of 25 HC combined with antiretroviral therapy(ART),provides profound immunological modulation towards inhibiting viral replication in chronically SIVmac239-infected rhesus macaques(RMs).Compared to the ART alone,this regimen more effectively controlled SIV replication,enhanced SIVspecific cellular immune responses,restored the ratio of CD4/CD8 cells,reversed the hyperactivation state of CD4^(+)T cells,and inhibited the secretion of proinflammatory cytokines by CD4^(^(+))and CD8^(+)T lymphocytes in chronically SIVinfected RMs.Furthermore,the in vivo safety and the preliminary pharmacokinetics of the 25 HC compound were assessed in this RM model.Taken together,these assessments help explain the profound relationship between cholesterol metabolism,immune modulation,and antiviral activities by 25 HC.These results provide insight for developing novel therapeutic drug candidates against HIV-1 infection and other related diseases.Chunxiu Wu Jin Zhao Ruiting Li Fengling Feng Yizi He Yanjun Li Runhan Huang Guangye Li Heng Yang Genhong Cheng Ling Chen Feng Ma Pingchao Li Caijun Sun 2021Virologica Sinica2021,36,5:0
12Quantitative Method of Classification and Discrimination of a Porous Carbonate Reservoir Integrating K-means Clustering and Bayesian Theory显示文摘Reservoir classification is a key link in reservoir evaluation.However,traditional manual means are inefficient,subjective,and classification standards are not uniform.Therefore,taking the Mishrif Formation of the Western Iraq as an example,a new reservoir classification and discrimination method is established by using the K-means clustering method and the Bayesian discrimination method.These methods are applied to non-cored wells to calculate the discrimination accuracy of the reservoir type,and thus the main reasons for low accuracy of reservoir discrimination are clarified.The results show that the discrimination accuracy of reservoir type based on K-means clustering and Bayesian stepwise discrimination is strongly related to the accuracy of the core data.The discrimination accuracy rate of TypeⅠ,TypeⅡ,and TypeⅤreservoirs is found to be significantly higher than that of TypeⅢand TypeⅣreservoirs using the method of combining K-means clustering and Bayesian theory based on logging data.Although the recognition accuracy of the new methodology for the TypeⅣreservoir is low,with average accuracy the new method has reached more than 82%in the entire study area,which lays a good foundation for rapid and accurate discrimination of reservoir types and the fine evaluation of a reservoir.FANG Xinxin ZHU Guotao YANG Yiming LI Fengling FENG Hong 2023Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,1:0
