1Association of emergency room visits for respiratory diseases with sources of ambient PM2.5显示文摘Previous studies have reported associations of short-term exposure to different sources of ambient fine particulate matter(PM2.5)and increased mortality or hospitalizations for respiratory diseases.Few studies,however,have focused on the short-term effects of source-specific PM2.5 on emergency room visits(ERVs)of respiratory diseases.Source apportionment for PM2.5 was performed with Positive Matrix Factorization(PMF)and generalized additive model was applied to estimate associations between source-specific PM2.5 and respiratory disease ERVs.The association of PM2.5 and total respiratory ERVs was found on lag4(RR=1.011,95%CI:1.002,1.020)per interquartile range(76μg/m3)increase.We found PM2.5 to be significantly associated with asthma,bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)ERVs,with the strongest effects on lag5(RR=1.072,95%CI:1.024,1.119),lag4(RR=1.104,95%CI:1.032,1.176)and lag3(RR=1.091,95%CI:1.047,1.135),respectively.The estimated effects of PM2.5 changed little after adjusting for different air pollutants.Six primary PM2.5 sources were identified using PMF analysis,including dust/soil(6.7%),industry emission(4.5%),secondary aerosols(30.3%),metal processing(3.2%),coal combustion(37.5%)and traffic-related source(17.8%).Some of the sources were identified to have effects on ERVs of total respiratory diseases(dust/soil,secondary aerosols,metal processing,coal combustion and traffic-related source),bronchitis ERVs(dust/soil)and COPD ERVs(traffic-related source,industry emission and secondary aerosols).Different sources of PM2.5 contribute to increased risk of respiratory ERVs to different extents,which may provide potential implications for the decision making of air quality related policies,rational emission control and public health welfare.Rui Chi Hongyu Li Qian Wang Qiangrong Zhai Daidai Wang Meng Wu Qichen Liu Shaowei Wu Qingbian Ma Furong Deng Xinbiao Guo 2019Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,12:8

4Simultaneous enhancement in electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficient by single-to double-valley transition in a Dirac-like band显示文摘SnTe possesses a single-to double-valley transition in the conduction band minimum when a compressive strain is applied.Through a tight-binding analysis,it is shown that the variation of the band structure is attributed to the strain-induced delocalization of both the Sn-5s orbitals and Te-5p orbitals with different angular momenta.This effect can largely increase the electron density of states near the band edge and thus keep the Fermi level of the compressed SnTe closer to it,where the electrons have lower scattering rates.The strain-induced double valleys lead to simultaneous increases in the electrical conductivity and the Seebeck coefficient and thereby nearly four times the enhancement of the power factor at the doping concentration of 5×10^(19) cm^(–3).This work suggests a feasible concept that can be employed to promote the power factor of a Dirac semiconductor via manipulating the valley degeneracy in the conduction band minimum.Yu Dai Wenjiang Zhou Hyun-Jung Kim Qichen Song Xin Qian Te-Huan Liu Ronggui Yang 2022npj Computational Materials2022,,1:1

9Ground-Based Atmospheric CO_(2),CH_(4),and CO Column Measurements at Golmud in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and Comparisons with TROPOMI/S5P Satellite Observations显示文摘Measurements of carbon dioxide(CO_(2)),methane(CH_(4)),and carbon monoxide(CO)are of great importance in the Qinghai-Tibetan region,as it is the highest and largest plateau in the world affecting global weather and climate systems.In this study,for the first time,we present CO_(2),CH_(4),and CO column measurements carried out by a Bruker EM27/SUN Fourier-transform infrared spectrometer(FTIR)at Golmud(36.42°E,94.91°N,2808 m)in August 2021.The mean and standard deviation of the column-average dry-air mixing ratio of CO_(2),CH_(4),and CO(XCO_(2),XCH_(4),and XCO)are 409.3±0.4 ppm,1905.5±19.4 ppb,and 103.1±7.7 ppb,respectively.The differences between the FTIR co-located TROPOMI/S5P satellite measurements at Golmud are 0.68±0.64%(13.1±12.2 ppb)for XCH_(4) and 9.81±3.48%(–10.7±3.8 ppb)for XCO,which are within their retrieval uncertainties.High correlations for both XCH_(4) and XCO are observed between the FTIR and S5P satellite measurements.Using the FLEXPART model and satellite measurements,we find that enhanced CH_(4) and CO columns in Golmud are affected by anthropogenic emissions transported from North India.This study provides an insight into the variations of the CO_(2),CH_(4),and CO columns in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau.Minqiang ZHOU Qichen NI Zhaonan CAI Bavo LANGEROCK Jingyi JIANG Ke CHE Jiaxin WANG Weidong NAN Yi LIU Pucai WANG 2023Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2023,40,2:1

11Potential active sites of Mo single atoms for electrocatalytic reduction of N_(2)显示文摘Single atom catalysts(SACs) with isolated metal atoms dispersed on supports exhibit distinctive performances for electrocatalysis reactions.The designable realization of well-dispersed single metal atoms is still a great challenge owing to their ease of aggregation.Here,Mo single atomic sites(Mo-N_(3)C)combined with some ultrasmall Mo_(2)C/MoN clusters(Mo-SA/Mo_(2)C-MoN-Cs,mean diameter <2 nm) on nitrogen-doped porous carbon were synthesized via a simple pyrolysis of bimetallic Zn/Mo metalorganic frameworks.X-ray absorption near edge spectra(XANES) in combination with various characterizations show that most of Mo species in sample exist in the form of single sites and the exact structure is Mo-N_(3)C.Density functional theory(DFT) calculation further shows that as the number of Ncoordination in the Mo-NxC moieties increases,the positive cha rge of Mo atoms increases.The single Mo atoms in Mo-N_(3)C have the best capability of N_(2) adsorption,which may serve as main active sites for further electrochemical N2 reduction.Lei Chen Chaozheng He Ran Wang Qian Li Jian Zeng Wei Liu Yuchao Wang Qichen Wang Tong Ye Yougen Tang Yongpeng Lei 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,1:1

15Nano-refinement of the face-centered cubic Zr(Fe,Cr)_(2)secondary phase particles in Zircaloy-4 alloy via localized-shearing/bending-driven fracture under high-temperature compression显示文摘Nanoparticles are extensively introduced to improve the mechanical,physical,and chemical properties of alloys.In the present study,the underlying nano-refinement mechanisms of face-centered cubic Zr(Fe,Cr)_(2)secondary phase particles(SPPs)that precipitated in Zircaloy-4 alloy under high-temperature compression were investigated in detail by utilizing high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)and conventional TEM techniques.The frequently observed Zr(Fe,Cr)_(2)SPPs were incoherent with the matrix and exhibited brittle fracture behaviors without measurable plasticity.HRTEM observations revealed two mechanisms underlying the nano-refinement of incoherent micro-sized SPPs via localized shear fracture on{11¯2}SPP and nanoprecipitate-assisted bending fracture,respectively.The latter was,for the first time,found to occur when the movements of large SPPs were blocked by nanometer-sized SPP during alloy deformation.Accordingly,two force models were proposed to visualize their potential nano-refinement processes.The knowledge attained from this study sheds new light on the deformation behaviors of Zr(Fe,Cr)_(2)SPPs and their associated size refinement mechanisms under high-temperature compression,and is expected to greatly benefit the process optimization of zirconium alloys to achieve precipitate nano-refinement.Fuzhou Han Geping Li Fusen Yuan Wenbin Guo Jie Ren Qichen Wang Yingdong Zhang Ali Muhammad Chengze Liu Hengfei Gu 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,34:0

20Roles of light transmission aggregometry and CYP2C19 genotype in predicting ischaemic complications during interventional therapy for intracranial aneurysms显示文摘Background and purpose Light transmission aggregometry(LTA)and CYP2C19 genotype analysis are commonly used to evaluate the antiplatelet effects of clopidogrel during the interventional treatment of intracranial aneurysms.The aim of this study was to determine which test can predict ischaemic events during these treatments.Methods Patient demographic information,imaging data,laboratory data and ischaemic complications were recorded.LTA and CYP2C19 genotype results were compared,and multiple linear regression was performed to examine factors related to platelet reactivity.Multivariate regression analysis was performed to determine whether LTA and CYP2C19 could predict ischaemic complications and to identify other clinical risk factors.Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis was conducted to calculate the cut-off value for predicting ischaemic complications.A subgroup analysis was also performed for different CYP2C19 genotype metabolisers,as well as for patients with flow diverters and traditional stents.Results A total of 379 patients were included,of which 22 developed ischaemic events.Maximum platelet aggregation induced by ADP(ADP-MPA)could predict ischaemic events(p<0.001;area under the curve,0.752(95%CI 0.663 to 0.842)),and its cut-off value was 41.5%.ADP-MPA(p=0.001)and hypertension duration>10 years(p=0.022)were independent risk factors for ischaemic events,while the CYP2C19 genotype was not associated with ischaemic events.In the subgroup analysis,ADP-MPA could predict ischaemic events in fast metabolisers(p=0.004)and intermediate metabolisers(p=0.003).The cut-off value for ischaemic events was lower in patients with flow diverters(ADP-MPA=36.4%)than in patients with traditional stents(ADP-MPA=42.9%).Conclusions ADP-MPA can predict ischaemic complications during endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms.Patients with flow diverters require stronger antiplatelet medication than patients with traditional stents.Yangyang Zhou Wenqiang Li Chao Wang Ruhang Xie Yongnan Zhu Qichen Peng Limin Zhang Hongqi Zhang Yuxiang Gu Shiqing Mu Jian Liu Xinjian Yang 2023Stroke & Vascular Neurology2023,8,4:0
