2N-doped defective carbon with trace Co for efficient rechargeable liquid electrolyte-/all-solid-state Zn-air batteries显示文摘Simple synthesis of multifunctional electrocatalysts with plentiful active sites from earth-abundant materials is especially fascinating. Here, N-doped defective carbon with trace Co(1.5 wt%) was prepared via a scalable one pot solid pyrolysis process. The sample exhibits efficient bifunctional OER/ORR activity in alkaline, mainly ascribed to the unique micro-mesoporous structure(1–3 nm), high population of graphitic-N doping(up to 49.0%), abundant defects and the encapsulated Co nanoparticles with graphitized carbon. The according rechargeable liquid Zn-air batteries showed excellent performance(maximum power density of 154.0 mW cm^(-2); energy density of 773 Wh kg^(-1) at 5 mA cm^(-2) and charging-discharging cycling stability over 100 cycles). 3Ultrasound/Microbubble Enhances Foreign Gene Expression in ECV304 Cells and Murine Myocardium显示文摘Although viral vectors are efficient systems to transfer foreign genes into cells or target tissues, safety issues remain in relation to human gene therapy. Microbubbles currently used as ultrasound contrast agents have been applied in transfection of genes. This study was designed to test the transfection efficiency and the expression of exogenous gene mediated by ultrasound irradiation enhanced air filled albumin microbubbles in ECV304 cell line in vitro and the heart of the mouse in vivo. Air filled microbubbles (2.0– 4.0 μm in diameter) were created by sonicating the mixture of human albumin, glucose, mannitol and special additive that was designed for stabilization. Plasmid DNA loading the reporter geneswas gently mixed with microbubbles. The mixture of plasmid DNA and microbubbles was administrated to cultured ECV304 cells and BALB/c mice (tail vein injection) under different ultrasound/microbubble conditions, and then the trans- fection and expression efficiency were examined. The results both in vivo and in vitro demonstrated that microbubble with ultrasound irradiation could significantly elevate the exogenous gene expression as compared with microbubble or ultrasound only. 4On-Line Fault Diagnosis and Fault-Tolerant Operation of Modular Multilevel Converters –A Comprehensive Review显示文摘Modular multilevel converters(MMCs)have been one of the most broadly used multilevel converter topologies in industrial applications,particularly in medium-voltage motor drives and high-voltage dc power conversion systems.However,due to the utilization of large amount of semiconductor devices,the reliability of MMCs becomes one of the severe challenges constraining their further development and applications.In this paper,common electrical faults of the MMC have been summarized and analyzed,including open-circuit switching faults,short-circuit switching faults,dc-bus short-circuit faults,and single line-to-ground faults on the ac side.A thorough and comprehensive review of the existing online fault diagnostic methods has been conducted.In addition,fault-tolerant operation strategies for such various fault scenarios in MMCs have been presented.All the fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant operation strategies are comparatively evaluated,which aims to provide a state-of-the-art reference on the MMC reliability for future research and industrial applications.JiangBiao He Qichen Yang Zheng Wang 2020CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2020,4,4:9
5Association of emergency room visits for respiratory diseases with sources of ambient PM2.5显示文摘Previous studies have reported associations of short-term exposure to different sources of ambient fine particulate matter(PM2.5)and increased mortality or hospitalizations for respiratory diseases.Few studies,however,have focused on the short-term effects of source-specific PM2.5 on emergency room visits(ERVs)of respiratory diseases.Source apportionment for PM2.5 was performed with Positive Matrix Factorization(PMF)and generalized additive model was applied to estimate associations between source-specific PM2.5 and respiratory disease ERVs.The association of PM2.5 and total respiratory ERVs was found on lag4(RR=1.011,95%CI:1.002,1.020)per interquartile range(76μg/m3)increase.We found PM2.5 to be significantly associated with asthma,bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)ERVs,with the strongest effects on lag5(RR=1.072,95%CI:1.024,1.119),lag4(RR=1.104,95%CI:1.032,1.176)and lag3(RR=1.091,95%CI:1.047,1.135),respectively.The estimated effects of PM2.5 changed little after adjusting for different air pollutants.Six primary PM2.5 sources were identified using PMF analysis,including dust/soil(6.7%),industry emission(4.5%),secondary aerosols(30.3%),metal processing(3.2%),coal combustion(37.5%)and traffic-related source(17.8%).Some of the sources were identified to have effects on ERVs of total respiratory diseases(dust/soil,secondary aerosols,metal processing,coal combustion and traffic-related source),bronchitis ERVs(dust/soil)and COPD ERVs(traffic-related source,industry emission and secondary aerosols).Different sources of PM2.5 contribute to increased risk of respiratory ERVs to different extents,which may provide potential implications for the decision making of air quality related policies,rational emission control and public health welfare.Rui Chi Hongyu Li Qian Wang Qiangrong Zhai Daidai Wang Meng Wu Qichen Liu Shaowei Wu Qingbian Ma Furong Deng Xinbiao Guo 2019Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,12:8
6Study on the Estimation of Groundwater Withdrawals Based on Groundwater Flow Modeling and Its Application in the North China Plain显示文摘The amount of water withdrawn by wells is one of the quantitative variables that can be applied to estimate groundwater resources and further evaluate the human influence on groundwater systems. The accuracy for the calculation of the amount of water withdrawal significantly influences the regional groundwater resource evaluation and management. However, the decentralized groundwater pumping, inefficient management, measurement errors and uncertainties have resulted in considerable errors in the groundwater withdrawal estimation. In this study, to improve the estimation of the groundwater withdrawal, an innovative approach was proposed using an inversion method based on a regional groundwater flow numerical model, and this method was then applied in the North China Plain. The principle of the method was matching the simulated water levels with the observation ones by adjusting the amount of groundwater withdrawal. In addition, uncertainty analysis of hydraulic conductivity and specific yield for the estimation of the groundwater withdrawal was conducted. By using the proposed inversion method, the estimated annual average groundwater withdrawal was approximately 24.92×109 m3 in the North China Plain from 2002 to 2008. The inversion method also significantly improved the simulation results for both hydrograph and the flow field. 8Research on simultaneous localization and mapping for AUV by an improved method:Variance reduction FastSLAM with simulated annealing显示文摘At present,simultaneous localization and mapping(SLAM) for an autonomous underwater vehicle(AUV)is a research hotspot.Aiming at the problem of non-linear model and non-Gaussian noise in AUV motion,an improved method of variance reduction fast simultaneous localization and mapping(FastSLAM) with simulated annealing is proposed to solve the problems of particle degradation,particle depletion and particle loss in traditional FastSLAM,which lead to the reduction of AUV location estimation accuracy.The adaptive exponential fading factor is generated by the anneal function of simulated annealing algorithm to improve the effective particle number and replace resampling.By increasing the weight of small particles and decreasing the weight of large particles,the variance of particle weight can be reduced,the number of effective particles can be increased,and the accuracy of AUV location and feature location estimation can be improved to some extent by retaining more information carried by particles.The experimental results based on trial data show that the proposed simulated annealing variance reduction FastSLAM method avoids particle degradation,maintains the diversity of particles,weakened the degeneracy and improves the accuracy and stability of AUV navigation and localization system.Jiashan Cui Dongzhu Feng Yunhui Li Qichen Tian 2020Defence Technology(防务技术)2020,16,3:4

10Electrical Capacitance Tomography Measurement of Flow Patterns and Film Thickness in a Thermosyphon显示文摘An experimental study was performed to evaluate the suitability of using an electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) system to visualize the flow patterns, and to measure the film thickness of the annular flow in a two-phase closed thermosyphon (TPCT). The performance of the ECT system was examined over a range of flow conditions.The experimental data were compared with the visual observations and existing correlations. Results indicated that the ECT system, with the linear back projection (LBP) algorithm, could be used to give an on-line qualitative image of the flow patterns. The Landweber iteration algorithm with optimal step length was implemented off-line to reconstruct high-resolution images. Then, the images were analyzed to obtain the film thickness of the annular flow. 11Diode-pumped wavelength-switchable visible Pr^(3+):YLF laser and vortex laser around 670 nm显示文摘Here we developed a novel wavelength-switchable visible continuous-wave(CW)Pr^(3+):YLF laser around 670 nm.In single-wavelength laser operations,the maximum output powers of 2.60 W,1.26 W,and 0.21 W,the maximum slope efficiencies of 34.7%,27.3%,and 12.3%were achieved with good beam qualities(M^(2)<1.6)at 670.4 nm,674.2 nm,and 678.9 nm,respectively.Record-high output power(2.6 W)and record-high slope efficiency(34.7%)were achieved for the Pr^(3+):YLF laser operation at 670.4 nm.This is also the first demonstration of longer-wavelength peaks beyond 670 nm in the^(3)P_(1)→^(3)F_(3)transition of Pr^(3+):YLF.In multi-wavelength laser operations,the dual-wavelength lasings,including 670.1/674.8 nm,670.1/679.1 nm,and 675.0/679.4 nm,were obtained by fine adjustment of one/two etalons within the cavity.Furthermore,the triple-wavelength lasings,e.g.672.2/674.2/678.6 nm and 670.4/674.8/679.4 nm,were successfully demonstrated.Moreover,both the first-order vortex lasers(LG_(0)^(+1)and LG_(0)^(-1)modes)at 670.4 nm were obtained by off-axis pumping.Xiuji Lin Qichen Feng Yao Zhu Shuaihao Ji Bo Xiao Huiying Xu Wensong Li Zhiping Cai 2021Opto-Electronic Advances2021,4,4:4
12Applicability of Artificial Recharge of Groundwater in the Yongding River Alluvial Fan in Beijing through Numerical Simulation显示文摘A groundwater transient flow model was developed to evaluate the applicability and effectiveness of artificial recharge scenarios in the middle-upper part of the Yongding River alluvial fan in Beijing. These scenarios were designed by taking into account different types of recharge facilities and their infiltration rate with the Middle Route Project for South-to-North Water Transfer(MRP) as the recharge water source. The simulation results suggest that:(1) the maximum amount of artificial recharge water, for scenario I, would be 127.42×106 m3 with surface infiltration facilities; and would be243.48×106 m3 for scenario II with surface infiltration and recharge wells under the constraint of the upper limit of groundwater;(2) with preferred pattern of recharge facilities, groundwater levels in both optimized recharge scenarios would not exceed the upper limit within the given recharge period; and(3implementation of the recharge scenarios would efficiently increase the aquifer replenishment and the groundwater budget will change from-54.11×106 to 70.89×104 and 183.36×104 m3, respectively. In addition, under these two scenarios groundwater level would rise up to 30 and 34 m, respectively, without increasing the amount of evaporation. 13Effect of chronic corticosterone-induced depression on circadian rhythms and age-related phenotypes in mice显示文摘Disrupted circadian rhythms are a recognized effect of depression,and our previous article demonstrated an association between depression and premature aging,but the underlying mechanisms are not well understood.In the present study,we used a mouse model of chronic corticosterone (CORT)-treated depression to elucidate a mechanism by which depression may be associated with the circadian clock and mediate age-related phenotypes.Mice received a daily injection of 20 mg/kg CORT for 21 consecutive days,and the depression-like behaviors of mice were identified by the sucrose intake test,tail suspension test and open field test.Our findings indicated that CORT injection may be correlatedwith the circadian clock by impairing circadian rhythms or shifting the phase values of clock genes.We also showed that CORT-treated mice exhibited a significant gradual reduction in body weight gain with increased oxidative stress, including reduced activity of antioxidant-related enzymes,reduced glutathione:glutathione disulfide ratio and cytochrome (Cyt)-C level,and elevated reactive oxygen species content.Moreover, chronic CORT injection affected inflammatory responses,the production of mitochondrial ATP and telomere shortening,which may be associated with the Sirtuin 3 (SIRT3)signaling pathway. 14Extraordinary simultaneous enhancement of the coercivity and remanence of dual alloy HRE-free Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets by post-sinter annealing显示文摘Post-sinter annealing process plays an important role in the microstructures and magnetic properties of the Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets.In this paper,systematically investigated are the magnetic properties and microstructures of the as-sintered and post-sinter annealed Nd-Fe-B magnets with Pr-Fe-Ga boundary addition.Two choice consecutive annealing methods are adopted at high and low temperatures,namely the 1 st annealing at 880℃ for 2 h and then the 2^(nd) annealing at 440℃ for 3 h.It is exceptional to find out that both the remanence and coercivity are improved after 2^(nd) annealing process for this type of magnet.The coercivity is hugely increased from 10.09 kOe for the as-sintered sample to 17.19 kOe for the 2^(nd) annealed magnet,with a significant increment of 70.37%in coercivity.The extraordinary magnetic properties of B_(r)=14.44 kGs,H_(cj)=17.19 kOe and(BH)_(max)=51.08 MGOe are obtained for the designated Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets without heavy rare earth(HRE)elements manufactured by dual alloy method.The Curie temperature is monotonically decreased from 634 K to 602 K while the c-axis alignment degree is optimized after annealing.Microstructural observation and analysis indicate that the elemental distribution patterns are altered after the 2^(nd) annealing.The diffusion of the aggregate(Pr,Nd,Cu,Ga)-rich phase from triple junctions into the grain boundary regions is ascribed to the formation of thin and continuous grain boundary layer,which is critical to improve the microstructures and magnetic properties.Qingfang Huang Qingzheng Jiang Jifan Hu Sajjad Ur Rehman Gang Fu Qichen Quan Jixiang Huang Deqin Xu Dakun Chen Zhenchen Zhong 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,11:3
15Auxin response factor 6A regulates photosynthesis,sugar accumulation,and fruit development in tomato显示文摘Auxin response factors(ARFs)are involved in auxin-mediated transcriptional regulation in plants.In this study,we performed functional characterization of SlARF6A in tomato.SlARF6A is located in the nucleus and exhibits transcriptional activator activity.Overexpression of SlARF6A increased chlorophyll contents in the fruits and leaves of tomato plants,whereas downregulation of SlARF6A decreased chlorophyll contents compared with those of wild-type(WT)plants.Analysis of chloroplasts using transmission electron microscopy indicated increased sizes of chloroplasts in SlARF6A-overexpressing plants and decreased numbers of chloroplasts in SlARF6A-downregulated plants.Overexpression of SlARF6A increased the photosynthesis rate and accumulation of starch and soluble sugars,whereas knockdown of SlARF6A resulted in opposite phenotypes in tomato leaves and fruits.RNA-sequence analysis showed that regulation of SlARF6A expression altered the expression of genes involved in chlorophyll metabolism,photosynthesis and sugar metabolism.SlARF6A directly bound to the promoters of SlGLK1,CAB,and RbcS genes and positively regulated the expression of these genes.Overexpression of SlARF6A also inhibited fruit ripening and ethylene production,whereas downregulation of SlARF6A increased fruit ripening and ethylene production.SlARF6A directly bound to the SAMS1 promoter and negatively regulated SAMS1 expression.Taken together,these results expand our understanding of ARFs with regard to photosynthesis,sugar accumulation and fruit development and provide a potential target for genetic engineering to improve fruit nutrition in horticulture crops.Yujin Yuan Xin Xu Zehao Gong Yuwei Tang Mengbo Wu Fang Yan Xiaolan Zhang Qian Zhang Fengqing Yang Xiaowei Hu Qichen Yang Yingqing Luo Lihua Mei Wenfa Zhang Cai-Zhong Jiang Wangjin Lu Zhengguo Li Wei Deng 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:3
16Trimetallic oxyhydroxides as active sites for large-current-density alkaline oxygen evolution and overall water splitting显示文摘Earth-abundant electrocatalysts for large-current-density water splitting under alkaline condition are desirable.Oxygen evolution reaction,which is a bottleneck of the overall water splitting,faces the problems of complicated reconstruction and deficiency in rational design of active sites.Herein,we report a series of transition metal chalcogenides for alkaline OER.Among them,FeCoNi(S)displayed a low overpotential of 293 m V to deliver a current density of 500 m A cm^(-2),which is in the top level of non-precious metal based OER electrocatalysts.A combination of(ex)in situ characterizations and DFT calculation shows that Ni(Fe,Co)trimetallic oxyhydroxides were the active sites for highly-efficient OER.Furthermore,for FeCoNi(S),when used as a bifunctional catalyst for water splitting,it only required a cell voltage of 1.84 V to deliver~500 m A cm^(-2) with extraordinary long-term stability over 2000 h.This work provides the comprehension of high-efficiency,robust catalysts for OER and overall water splitting at large current densities in alkaline media.Lei Chen Yunpeng Wang Xin Zhao Yuchao Wang Qian Li Qichen Wang Yougen Tang Yongpeng Lei 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,15:3
17Ginsenoside Rh2 suppresses colon cancer growth by targeting the miR-150-3p/SRCIN1/Wnt axis显示文摘Ginsenoside Rh2,which is extracted from ginseng,exerts antitumor activity.Recent studies suggest that Rh2 may suppress the growth of colon cancer(CC)in vitro.However,the underlying mechanism remains unclear.In this study,we identified the relative levels of miR-150-3p in CC tissues and cells by a comprehensive strategy of data mining,computational biology,and real-time reverse transcription PCR(qRT-PCR)experiments.The regulatory effects of miR-150-3p/SRCIN1 on the proliferative and invasive abilities of CC cells are evaluated by CCK-8,EdU,wound healing,and transwell assays.Cell cycle-and apoptosis-related protein levels are assessed by western blot analysis.An in vivo tumor formation assay was conducted to explore the effects of miR-150-3p on tumor growth.Furthermore,bioinformatics and dual luciferase reporter assays are applied to determine the functional binding of miRNA to mRNA of the target gene.Finally,the relationship between Rh2 and miR-150-3p was further verified in SW620 and HCT-116 cells.miR-150-3p is downregulated in CC tissues and cell lines.Functional assays indicate that the upregulation of miR-150-3p inhibits tumor growth both in vivo and in vitro.In addition,SRCIN1 is upregulated in CC and predicts a poor prognosis,and it is the direct target for miR-150-3p.Moreover,the miR-150-3p mimic decreases Topflash/Fopflash-dependent luciferase activity,resulting in the inhibition of Wnt pathway activity.Rh2 can suppress the growth of CC by increasing miR-150-3p expression.Rh2 alleviates the accelerating effect on Wnt pathway activity,cell proliferation/migration,and colony formation caused by miR-150-3p inhibition.Rh2 inhibits the miR-150-3p/SRCIN1/Wnt axis to suppress colon cancer growth.Shipeng Li Wenfeng Han Qichen He Yang Wang Gang Jin Youcheng Zhang 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,4:2

20A Feasibility Study on ECT Monitoring of Froth Molding of Polyurethane显示文摘This paper presents our recent experimental investigation on the feasibility of monitoring the froth molding, a special case of solidification process, of polyurethane by using electrical capacitance tomography. The major challenge is the extremely low solid density of the solidified material during the process due to the very large expansion ratio. Suitable calibration method is sought and adequate image reconstruction algorithm is applied for such a task. Different expansion modes have been observed during experiment and corresponding images reconstructed. This visualization technique clearly revealed the expansion process by a time series of images of the solid density. The test results proved the capability of electrical capacitance tomography in monitoring the expansion of polyurethane.
