| 1 | The important turning points during evolution of Cenozoic basin offshore the Bohai Sea:Evidence and regional dynamics analysis显示文摘The Cenozoic basin offshore the Bohai Sea underwent a multicycle-rifting during its evolutionary process, which resulted in the multiple unconformities in the strata. The tectonic activities shown by these unconformities have different manifestations and influences on the basin evolution. The authors systematically analyze the tectonic evolution characteristics of the sags off-shore the Bohai Sea with a large set of hydrocarbon exploration data. The analysis reveals that two phases of tectonic activities during the late depositional stage of the third member of Shahejie Formation (about 38 Ma) and the late depositional stage of Dongying Formation (about 24 Ma) reflect the significant changes in the basin's features and structural framework before and after these tectonic activities. As a result, the two phases of tectonic activities are recognized as important turning points (i.e., tectonic transitions) of Cenozoic basin evolution. The regional dynamic backgrounds of the two phases of tectonic transitions are also discussed. It is suggested that the early tectonic transition occurred at about 38 Ma under such regional dynamic back- ground that a huge kinematics adjustment happened between Eurasian Plate and its neighboring plates, i.e., Pacific Plate and Indian Plate. Meanwhile, the Tan-Lu Fault's slip reversed from left lateral to right lateral. | 2 | Analyses of Trawling Track and Fishing Activity Based on the Data of Vessel Monitoring System(VMS): A Case Study of the Single Otter Trawl Vessels in the Zhoushan Fishing Ground显示文摘The original purpose of Vessel Monitoring System(VMS) is for enforcement and control of vessel sailing. With the application of VMS in fishing vessels, more and more population dynamic studies have used VMS data to improve the accuracy of fisheries stock assessment. In this paper, we simulated the trawl trajectory under different time intervals using the cubic Hermite spline(c Hs) interpolation method based on the VMS data of 8 single otter trawl vessels(totally 36000 data items) fishing in Zhoushan fishing ground from September 2012 to December 2012, and selected the appropriate time interval. We then determined vessels' activities(fishing or non-fishing) by comparing VMS speed data with the corresponding speeds from logbooks. The results showed that the error of simulated trajectory greatly increased with the increase of time intervals of VMS data when they were longer than 30 minutes. Comparing the speeds from VMS with those from the corresponding logbooks, we found that the vessels' speeds were between 2.5 kn and 5.0 kn in fishing. The c Hs interpolation method is a new choice for improving the accuracy of estimation of sailing trajectory, and the VMS can be used to determine the vessels' activities with the analysis of their trajectories and speeds. | 3 | Total mesopancreas excision for pancreatic head cancer: analysis of 120 cases显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the feasibility and safety of total mesopancreas excision(TMpE) in the treatment of pancreatic head cancer. Methods: The clinical and pathological data of 120 patients with pancreatic head cancer who had undergone TMpE in our center from May 2010 to January 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. Results: The mean operative time was(275.0±50.2) min and the average intra-operative blood loss was(390.0±160.5) mL. Post-operative complications were reported in 45 patients, while no peri-operative death was noted. The specimen margins were measured in three dimensions, and 86 patients(71.6%) achieved R0 resection. | 4 | Monitoring of 943 organic micropollutants in wastewater from municipal wastewater treatment plants with secondary and advanced treatment processes显示文摘To perform a systematic survey on the occurrence and removal of micropollutants during municipal wastewater treatment, 943 semi-volatile organic chemicals in 32 wastewater samples including influents of secondary treatments, secondary effluents and final effluents(effluents of advanced treatments), which were collected from seven full-scale municipal wastewater treatment plants(MWTPs) in China, were examined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) coupled with an automated identification and quantification system with a database(AIQS-DB). In total, 196 and 145 chemicals were detected in secondary and final effluents, respectively. The majority of the total concentrations(average removal efficiency, 87.0%±5.9%) of the micropollutants were removed during secondary treatments. However, advanced treatments achieved different micropollutant removal extents from secondary effluents depending on the different treatment processes employed. Highly variable removal efficiencies of total concentrations(32.7%–99.3%) were observed among the different advanced processes. Among them,ozonation-based processes could remove 70.0%–80.9% of the total concentrations of studied micropollutants. The potentially harmful micropollutants, based on their detection frequency and concentration in secondary and final effluents, were polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)(2-methylnaphthalene, fluoranthene, pyrene, naphthalene and phenanthrene), phosphorus flame retardants(tributyl phosphate(TBP), tris(2-chloroethyl)phosphate(TCEP) and tris(1,3-dichloro-2-propyl) phosphate(TDCP)), phthalates(bis(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate(DEHP)), benzothiazoles(benzothiazole,2-(methylthio)-benzothiazol, and 2(3H)-benzothiazolone) and phenol. | 5 | Geochemical Characteristics and Genetic Types of Natural Gas in the Xinchang Gas Field, Sichuan Basin, SW China显示文摘The molecular compositions and stable carbon and hydrogen isotopic compositions of natural gas from the Xinchang gas field in the Sichuan Basin were investigated to determine the genetic types. The natural gas is mainly composed of methane (88.99%–98.01%), and the dryness coefficient varies between 0.908 and 0.997. The gas generally displays positive alkane carbon and hydrogen isotopic series. The geochemical characteristics and gas-source correlation indicate that the gases stored in the 5^(th) member of the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation are coal-type gases which are derived from source rocks in the stratum itself. The gases reservoired in the 4^(th) member of the Xujiahe Formation and Jurassic strata in the Xinchang gas field are also coal-type gases that are derived from source rocks in the 3^(rd) and 4^(th) members of the Xujiahe Formation. The gases reservoired in the 2^(nd) member of the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation are mainly coal-type gases with small amounts of oil-type gas that is derived from source rocks in the stratum itself. This is accompanied by a small amount of contribution brought by source rocks in the Upper Triassic Ma'antang and Xiaotangzi formations. | 6 | Effects of single basal application of coated compound fertilizer on yield and nitrogen use efficiency in double-cropped rice显示文摘Fertilizer plays an important role in increasing rice yield. More than half of all fertilizer applied to the field is not taken up, resulting in environmental damage and substantial economic losses. To address these concerns, a low-cost, coated compound fertilizer named 'Xiang Nong Da'(XND), requiring only a single basal application, was studied. A two-year field experiment was conducted to test the effects of XND application on rice yield and nitrogen fertilizer use efficiency. An ordinary uncoated compound fertilizer(UNCF), with 20% more nutrients and split application was selected as the control. The yield of XND-treated rice was only 3.1% lower than that of the control, an insignificant difference. There were no significant differences between N use efficiency indices of the two fertilizer treatments except for N partial factor productivity(PFP_N). PFP_Nof XND treatment was 19.7%–23.2% higher than the control, a significant difference. | 7 | Differential water use strategies among selected rare and endangered species in West Ordos Desert of China显示文摘Aims West Ordos Desert(WOD)in Inner Mongolia of China is charac-terized by unique geographical and ecological features to avoid the direct invasion of Quaternary Continental Glaciation,so it hosts many endangered relic species such as Tetraena mongol-ica,Ammopiptanthus mongolicus and Potaninia mongolica from Tertiary.However,how these plants utilize available water sources remains unknown.The objective of this study was to investigate the water utilization strategies of selected rare and endangered plant species in WOD by comparing hydrogen isotope ratios between their xylem water and possible water sources following four rainfall events of varying-intensities.Methods We measured the hydrogen isotope ratios of xylem water from T.mongolica,A.mongolicus and P.mongolica and an accom-panying species Sarcozygium xanthoxylum and potential water sources(including precipitation and soil water in different soil layers from 0 to 150 cm)over 9 days following each of four varying-intensity rainfall events during the summer of 2012.And then calculated the percentage utilization of potential water sources by each species after each rainfall events using the linear mixing model.We also made the measurements of soil moisture and root biomass in favor of interpretation of plant water use strategies.Important Findings Tetraena mongolica,A.mongolicus and S.xanthoxylum primarily relied on deep soil water,whereas P.mongolica depended predomi-nantly on rainwater.These rare and endangered desert plants had differential utilizations of available water sources,so some com-petition for limited water existed among some species.Tetraena mongolica had a competitive relationship in absorption of soil moisture with the same family species S.xanthoxylum,suggesting that T.mongolica and S.xanthoxylum should be restored separately at different areas in the WOD.Overall,this study provides a better understanding of water use strategies of these four plants and scien-tific evidence for protecting rare and endangered plants,maintain-ing regional species diversity,and developing effective vegetation restoration plans in the WOD. | Jie Chen Qing Xu Deqiang Gao Aiyun Song Yuguang Hao Yingbin Ma | 2017 | Journal of Plant Ecology2017,10,4: | 9 |

Accompanied with turning the MES into service-oriented manufacturing execution system (so-MES), real-time e-quality tracking (e-QT), in which real-time data are computed, has played more and more important roles in manufacturing. This paper presents an e-QT model through the study of real-time status data tracking and quality data collecting. An implementing architecture of the e-QT model is constructed on the basis of radio frequency identification devices (RFID) data-tracking network. In order to develop the e-QT system, some key enabling technologies, such as configuration, data collection, and data processing, etc, are studied. The relation schema between hardware is built for the RFID data-tracking network based on the configuration technique. Real-time data are sampled by using data collecting technique. Furthermore, real-time status and quality data in a shop-floor can be acquired in terms of using the real-time data computing method. Finally, a prototype system is developed and a running example is given so as to verify the feasibility of methods proposed in this paper. | 12 | 20 Years Advances in Preparation of Potassium Salts from Potassic Rocks:A Review显示文摘Long-term research on key techniques of clean utilization of potassic rocks from over twenty localities has been performed to settle the shortage of soluble potassium resources in China. The results show that K-feldspar as the principal mineral enriched in potassium could be decomposed in the media of Ca(OH)_2, NaOH, KOH-H_2O solution via hydrothermal treatment, into tobermorite, hydroxylcancrinite, and kalsilite respectively. By further processing, these compounds are feasible for being as slow-release carrier of potassium nitrate, extracting alumina, and preparing farm-oriented fertilizers of potassium sulphate and nitrate. Correspondingly, the filtrate is KOH,(Na, K)_2SiO_3, and K_2SiO_3 solution, from which potassium carbonate, sulphate, nitrate, and phosphate could be easily fabricated. As NaO H and KOH are recycled in the processing chains by causticizing sodium and/or potassium metasilicate solutions, the hydrothermal alkaline techniques as developed in this research have several advantages as lower consumption of disposable mineral resources and energy, maximized utilization of potassic mineral resources, as well as clean productions etc. Based on the approaches presented in this paper, the technical system of efficiently utilizing insoluble potassium resources has been established. | 14 | Yield and tillering response of super hybrid rice Liangyoupeijiu to tillage and establishment methods显示文摘Tillering is an important agronomic trait for rice grain production. To evaluate yield and tillering response, Liangyoupeijiu(super hybrid rice) was grown in Hunan, China during 2011–2012 under different methods of tillage(conventional and no-tillage system) and crop establishment methods(transplanting at a spacing of 20 cm × 20 cm with one seedling per hill and direct seeding at a seeding rate of 22.5 kg ha-1). Our results revealed that, at maximum tillering(Max.) and at maturity(MA) stages, direct seeding(DS) resulted in 22% more tillers than transplanting(TP) irrespective of tillage system. Tiller mortality reached a peak between panicle initiation(PI) and booting(BT) stages, and was 16% higher under conventional tillage(CT) than under no-tillage(NT). Transplanting required 29% more time for the completion of tillering and less for DS. Tillering rate was 43% higher in DS than TP under either CT or NT. There was a positive correlation between panicle number per m2and maximum tiller number per m2, but not panicle-bearing tiller rate. The panicle bearing tiller rate was higher under DS than TP and higher under NT than CT. Tiller dry weight gradually increased up to heading(HD) stage, and was 14% higher under TP than DS. Leaf area(cm2tiller-1) gradually increased from Max. to HD stage and then decreased by 34% in conventional tillage transplanting(CTTP) and 45% in no-tillage transplanting(NTTP) from 12DAH–24DAH(days after heading), but was similar(35%) under DS under either CT or NT. | 15 | Omics-based integrated analysis identified ATRX as a biomarker associated with glioma diagnosis and prognosis显示文摘Objective:ATRX is a multifunctional protein that is tightly regulated by and implicated in transcriptional regulation and chromatin remodeling.Numerous studies have shown that genetic alterations in ATRX play a significant role in gliomas.This study aims to further determine the relationship between ATRX and glioma prognosis and identify possible mechanisms for exploring the biological significance of ATRX using large data sets.Methods:We used The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database and 130 immunohistochemical results to confirm the difference in ATRX mutations in high-and low-grade gliomas.An online analysis of the TCGA glioma datasets using the cBioPortal platform was performed to study the relationship between ATRX mutations and IDH1,TP53,CDKN2 A and CDKN2 B mutations in the corresponding TCGA glioma dataset.In combination with clinical pathology data,the biological significance of the relationships were analyzed.Gene Ontology(GO)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway analyses and annotations of all adjacent genes in the network were performedin the Database for Annotation,Visualization and Integrated Discovery(DAVID)and R language.A protein-protein interaction(PPI)network was constructed,and the interactions of all adjacent nodes were analyzed by the String database and using Cytoscape software.Results:In the selected TCGA glioma datasets,a total of 2,228 patients were queried,21%of whom had ATRX alterations,which co-occurred frequently with TP53 and IDH1 mutations.ATRX alterations are associated with multiple critical molecular events,which results in a significantly improved overall survival(OS)rate.In low-grade gliomas,ATRX mutations are significantly associated with multiple important molecular events,such as ZNF274 and FDXR at mRNA and protein levels.A functional cluster analysis revealed that these genes played a role in chromatin binding and P53,and a link was observed between ATRX and IDH1 and TP53 in the interaction network.ATRX and TP53 are important nodes in the network and have potential links with the blood oxygen imbalance.Conclusions:ATRX mutations have clinical implications for the molecular diagnosis of gliomas and can provide diagnostic and prognostic information for gliomas.ATRX is expected to serve as a new therapeutic target. | Yingbin Xie Yanli Tan Chao Yang Xuehao Zhang Can Xu Xiaoxia Qiao Jianglong Xu Shaohui Tian Chuan Fang Chunsheng Kang | 2019 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2019,16,4: | 5 |

Liensinine has been proved to have hypotensive effect. However, the effect of liensinine on GBC is still unknown. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect and mechanism of liensinine in human GBC cells. Cell viability assay and colony formation assay were performed to assess cell growth and proliferation. Flow cytometry analysis was used to investigate cell cycle apoptosis in vitro. Hoechst 33342 staining was also used to evaluate cell apoptosis. Western blot analysis was used to determine the expression of proteins corresponding to the related cell cycle and apoptosis.The effect of liensinine treatment in vivo was experimented with xenografted tumors. We found that liensinine significantly inhibited the growth of GBC cells both in vivo and in vitro. In vitro, cell growth and proliferation were significantly suppressed by liensinine in a dose- and time-dependent manner. In vivo, liensinine inhibited tumor growth. Liensinine could induce GBC cells G2/M phase arrest by up-regulating the levels of Cyclin B1 and CDK1 proteins. Liensinine also affected GBC cell cycle progress!on and induced apoptosis by down-regulating phosphorylated protein kinase B (AKT), phosphorylated protein kinase B (p-AKT), phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K), and Zinc finger X-chromosomal protein (ZFX) proteins. The measured results indicate that surface coating with 1.0 wt% Cr 2 O 3 does not affect the LiNi 1/3 Co 1/3 Mn 1/3 O 2 crystal structure (α-NaFeO 2 ) of the cathode material compared to the pristine material, the surfaces of LiNi 1/3 Co 1/3 Mn 1/3 O 2 samples are covered with Cr 2 O 3 well, and the LiNi 1/3 Co 1/3 Mn 1/3 O 2 material coated with Cr 2 O 3 has better electrochemical performance under a high cutoff voltage of 4.5 V. Moreover, at room temperature, the initial discharging capacity of LiNi 1/3 Co 1/3 Mn 1/3 O 2 material coated with 1.0 wt.% Cr 2 O 3 at 0.5C reaches 169 mAh·g 1 and the capacity retention is 83.1% after 30 cycles, while that of the bare LiNi 1/3 Co 1/3 Mn 1/3 O 2 is only 160.8 mAh·g 1 and 72.5%. | 19 | Effect of grassland degradation on soil quality and soil biotic community in a semi-arid temperate steppe显示文摘Grasslands provide a number of ecosystem services for human society.Degradation of grasslands results in the loss of biodiversity and leads to the deterioration of ecosystem functions.In order to accurately assess the influence of grassland degradation on belowground ecosystems,we conducted experiments on a temperate steppe with different levels of degradation and investigated the influence of degradation on soil quality and soil biotic communities.Our results showed that grassland degradation significantly decreased soil quality,with lower values of soil quality index(SQI)observed in the degraded grassland than the meadow steppe and the grassland from the forest-steppe ecotone.Changes in the SQI along the grassland degradation gradient were positively correlated with soil carbon stock and the aboveground biomass,and negatively correlated with the root shoot ratio.Nematode trophic diversity and the ratio of fungal to bacterial PLFA were lower in the degraded grassland than the grassland from the forest-steppe ecotone.The dissimilarities in soil microbial and nematode community composition increased with the changes in soil quality index.Our results indicate that soil quality index based on the minimum data sets could effectively assess the influence of grassland degradation on soil biodiversity and ecosystem function.In order to effectively restore degraded grasslands,the key contributors to the soil quality,such as soil carbon,should be taken on priority basis for revitalizing the soil biodiversity and ecosystem function. | Xu Han Yuhui Li Xiaofang Du Yingbin Li Zhengwen Wang Siwei Jiang Qi Li | 2020 | Ecological Processes2020,9,1: | 4 |
| 20 | Impacts of the sampling design on the abundance index estimation of Portunus trituberculatus using bottom trawl显示文摘In the survey of fishery resources,the sampling design will directly impact the accuracy of the estimation of the abundance.Therefore,it is necessary to optimize the sampling design to increase the quality of fishery surveys.The distribution and abundance of fisheries resource estimated based on the bottom trawl survey data in the Changjiang River(Yangtze River)Estuary-Hangzhou Bay and its adjacent waters in 2007 were used to simulate the'true'situation.Then the abundance index of Portunus trituberculatus were calculated and compared with its true index to evaluate the impacts of different sampling designs on the abundance estimation.Four sampling methods(including fixed-station sampling,simple random sampling,stratified fixed-station sampling,and stratified random sampling)were simulated.Three numbers of stations(9,16 and 24)were assumed for the scenarios of fixed-station sampling and simple random sampling without stratification.While 16 stations were assumed for the scenarios with stratification.Three reaction distances(1.5 m,3 m and 5 m)of P.trituberculatus to the bottom line of trawl were also assumed to adapt to the movement ability of the P.trituberculatus for different ages,seasons and substrate conditions.Generally speaking,compared with unstratified sampling design,the stratified sampling design resulted in more accurate abundance estimation of P.trituberculatus,and simple random sampling design is better than fixed-station sampling design.The accuracy of the simulated results was improved with the increase of the station number.The maximum relative estimation error(REE)was 163.43%and the minimum was 49.40%for the fixed-station sampling scenario with 9 stations,while 38.62%and 4.15%for 24 stations.With the increase of reaction distance,the relative absolute bias(RAB)and REE gradually decreased.Resource-intensive area and the seasons with high density variances have significant impacts on simulation results.Thus,it will be helpful if there are prior information or pre-survey results about density distribution.The current study can provide reference for the future sampling design of bottom trawl of P.trituberculatus and other species. | Chunyang Sun Yingbin Wang | 2020 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,6: | 4 |
