1Crop photosynthetic response to light quality and light intensity显示文摘Under natural conditions, plants constantly encounter various biotic and abiotic factors, which can potentially restrict plant growth and development and even limit crop productivity. Among various abiotic factors affecting plant photosynthesis, light serves as an important factor that drives carbon metabolism in plants and supports life on earth. The two components of light(light quality and light intensity) greatly affect plant photosynthesis and other plant's morphological, physiological and biochemical parameters. The response of plants to different spectral radiations and intensities differs in various species and also depends on growing conditions. To date, much research has been conducted regarding how different spectral radiations of varying intensity can affect plant growth and development. 4Forecasting cryptocurrency returns and volume using search engines显示文摘In the context of the debate on the role of cryptocurrencies in the economy as well as their dynamics and forecasting,this brief study analyzes the predictability of Bitcoin volume and returns using Google search values.We employed a rich set of established empirical approaches,including a VAR framework,a copulas approach,and non-parametric drawings,to capture a dependence structure.Using a weekly dataset from 2013 to 2017,our key results suggest that the frequency of Google searches leads to positive returns and a surge in Bitcoin trading volume.Shocks to search values have a positive effect,which persisted for at least a week.Our findings contribute to the debate on cryptocurrencies/Bitcoins and have profound implications in terms of understanding their dynamics,which are of special interest to investors and economic policymakers.Muhammad Ali Nasir Toan Luu Duc Huynh Sang Phu Nguyen Duy Duong 2019Financial Innovation2019,5,1:2
5Week Ahead Electricity Power and Price Forecasting Using Improved DenseNet-121 Method显示文摘In the Smart Grid(SG)residential environment,consumers change their power consumption routine according to the price and incentives announced by the utility,which causes the prices to deviate from the initial pattern.Thereby,electricity demand and price forecasting play a significant role and can help in terms of reliability and sustainability.Due to the massive amount of data,big data analytics for forecasting becomes a hot topic in the SG domain.In this paper,the changing and non-linearity of consumer consumption pattern complex data is taken as input.To minimize the computational cost and complexity of the data,the average of the feature engineering approaches includes:Recursive Feature Eliminator(RFE),Extreme Gradient Boosting(XGboost),Random Forest(RF),and are upgraded to extract the most relevant and significant features.To this end,we have proposed the DensetNet-121 network and Support Vector Machine(SVM)ensemble with Aquila Optimizer(AO)to ensure adaptability and handle the complexity of data in the classification.Further,the AO method helps to tune the parameters of DensNet(121 layers)and SVM,which achieves less training loss,computational time,minimized overfitting problems and more training/test accuracy.Performance evaluation metrics and statistical analysis validate the proposed model results are better than the benchmark schemes.Our proposed method has achieved a minimal value of the Mean Average Percentage Error(MAPE)rate i.e.,8%by DenseNet-AO and 6%by SVM-AO and the maximum accurateness rate of 92%and 95%,respectively.Muhammad Irfan Ali Raza Faisal Althobiani Nasir Ayub Muhammad Idrees Zain Ali Kashif Rizwan Abdullah Saeed Alwadie Saleh Mohammed Ghonaim Hesham Abdushkour Saifur Rahman Omar Alshorman Samar Alqhtani 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,9:2
6Energy Theft Identification Using Adaboost Ensembler in the Smart Grids显示文摘One of the major concerns for the utilities in the Smart Grid(SG)is electricity theft.With the implementation of smart meters,the frequency of energy usage and data collection from smart homes has increased,which makes it possible for advanced data analysis that was not previously possible.For this purpose,we have taken historical data of energy thieves and normal users.To avoid imbalance observation,biased estimates,we applied the interpolation method.Furthermore,the data unbalancing issue is resolved in this paper by Nearmiss undersampling technique and makes the data suitable for further processing.By proposing an improved version of Zeiler and Fergus Net(ZFNet)as a feature extraction approach,we had able to reduce the model’s time complexity.To minimize the overfitting issues,increase the training accuracy and reduce the training loss,we have proposed an enhanced method by merging Adaptive Boosting(AdaBoost)classifier with Coronavirus Herd Immunity Optimizer(CHIO)and Forensic based Investigation Optimizer(FBIO).In terms of low computational complexity,minimized over-fitting problems on a large quantity of data,reduced training time and training loss and increased training accuracy,our model outperforms the benchmark scheme.Our proposed algorithms Ada-CHIO andAda-FBIO,have the low MeanAverage Percentage Error(MAPE)value of error,i.e.,6.8%and 9.5%,respectively.Furthermore,due to the stability of our model our proposed algorithms Ada-CHIO and Ada-FBIO have achieved the accuracy of 93%and 90%.Statistical analysis shows that the hypothesis we proved using statistics is authentic for the proposed technique against benchmark algorithms,which also depicts the superiority of our proposed techniques.Muhammad Irfan Nasir Ayub Faisal Althobiani Zain Ali Muhammad Idrees Saeed Ullah Saifur Rahman Abdullah Saeed Alwadie Saleh Mohammed Ghonaim Hesham Abdushkour Fahad Salem Alkahtani Samar Alqhtani Piotr Gas 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,7:1

8Effects of Convolvulus arvensis Water Extract on Germination of Okra Under Different Seed Sizes显示文摘Convolvulus arvensis is a toxic allelopathic weed that suppresses germination and growth of crops.The prime object of present study was to investigate effect of Convolvulus arvensis water extract on germination and performance of okra with different seed sizes.The seeds of okra variety pusa green were separated into three different sizes,viz large size(4.00-5.00 mm),medium size(3.00-3.50 mm)and small size(2.00-3.50 mm),and then soaked in allelopathic plant bindweed water extract and kept in patrisdishes for germination into the germinator at 15℃.The experiment was laid out using Complete Randomized Design(CRD)with three replications.The results showed that after sowing of 12 days the highest germination was observed in non-treated seeds as compared to seeds treated in Convolvulus arvensis water extract for 1 h,further non-treated large seeds produced maximum plants as compared to treated small seeds after sowing of 24 days.Meanwhile,root length,shoot length,root fresh and dry weight,shoot fresh and dry weight were recorded higher in non-treated large seeds as compared to small seeds soaked for 1 h in Convolvulus arvensis allelopthic water extract.It could be found that Convolvulus arvensis affected germination,seed growth and overall performance of okra,further presence Convolvulus arvensis in crops could cause negative impact on germination and integrity of okra crops.Abid Hussain Khoso Ghulam Mustafa Laghari Aziz Ahmed Laghari Ali Muhammad Bozdar Asif Ali Kaleri Nasir Ali 2017Journal of Northeast Agricultural University(English Edition)2017,24,1:0

13Statistical Modelling of Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity of Fly Ash Based Geopolymer Mortar using Response Surface Methodology显示文摘The fly ash based geopolymer has emerged as a capable and sustainable binder material in construction industry.Ultrasonic pulse velocity(UPV)method is a non-destructive technique for investigating the mechanical performance of concrete.Experimental investigation was performed for studying the effect of NaOH Molarity,Na2SiO3/NaOH and curing temperature on the ultrasonic pulse velocity of geopolymer mortar.Experiments were designed based on central composite design(CCD)technique of response surface methodology(RSM).Statistical model was developed and statistically validated and found significant as the difference between adjustable R-squared and predicted R-squared less than 0.2.Finally,the optimized mix proportion was assessed for maximized value of UPV.Experimental validation on the optimized mix reveals the close agreement between experimental and predicted values of UPV with significance level of more than 95%.The proposed technique improves the yield,the reliability of the product and the processes.Muhammad Zahid Nasir Shafiq Muhammad Ali 2019Journal of Architectural Environment & Structural Engineering Research2019,2,4:0

16Compact Multibeam Array with Miniaturized Butler Matrix for 5G Applications显示文摘This paper presents the design and implementation of a miniaturized beam steering network that produces broadside beams when it is fed with a compact antenna array.Butler Matrix(BM)was used as the beam steering network.It was completely built from a miniaturized 3 dB hybrid-couplers in planar microstrip technology.It was configured by feeding the BM with a Planar Inverted-E Antenna(PIEA)array separated at 0.3λas against the 0.5λseparation.This makes the BM produce a major radiation pattern at the broadside.Apart from the miniaturization,no modification was made from the BM side.However,employing effective mutual coupling reduction techniques helped to design the compact PIEA array.The validity of this BM based multibeam PIEA array was demonstrated by comparing the simulation results of the reflection coefficients,transmissions coefficients and the radiation pattern with measurements.The measurement results showed good agreement with simulations.Suleiman A.Babale Muhammad K.Ishfaq Ali Raza Jamal Nasir Ahmad Fayyaz Umer Ijaz 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,7:0

20Bio-Inspired Modelling of Disease Through Delayed Strategies显示文摘In 2020,the reported cases were 0.12 million in the six regions to the official report of the World Health Organization(WHO).For most children infected with leprosy,0.008629 million cases were detected under fifteen.The total infected ratio of the children population is approximately 4.4 million.Due to theCOVID-19 pandemic,the awareness programs implementation has been disturbed.Leprosy disease still has a threat and puts people in danger.Nonlinear delayed modeling is critical in various allied sciences,including computational biology,computational chemistry,computational physics,and computational economics,to name a few.The time delay effect in treating leprosy delayed epidemic model is investigated.The whole population is divided into four groups:those who are susceptible,those who have been exposed,those who have been infected,and those who have been vaccinated.The local and global stability of well-known conclusions like the Routh Hurwitz criterion and the Lyapunov function has been proven.The parameters’sensitivity is also examined.The analytical analysis is supported by computer results that are presented in a variety of ways.The proposed approach in this paper preserves equilibrium points and their stabilities,the existence and uniqueness of solutions,and the computational ease of implementation.Arooj Nasir Dumitru Baleanu Ali Raza Pervez Anwar Nauman Ahmed Muhammad Rafiq Tahir Nawaz Cheema 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,12:0
