1Distributed cooperative control of autonomous multi-agent UAV systems using smooth control显示文摘This paper addresses the cooperative control problem of multiple unmanned aerial vehicles(multi-UAV)systems.First,a new distributed consensus algorithm for second-order nonlinear multi-agent systems(MAS)is formulated under the leader-following approach.The algorithm provides smooth input signals to the agents’control channels,which avoids the chattering effect generated by the conventional sliding mode-based control protocols.Second,a new formation control scheme is developed by integrating smooth distributed consensus control protocols into the geometric pattern model to achieve three-dimensional formation tracking.The Lyapunov theory is used to prove the stability and convergence of both distributed consensus and formation controllers.The effectiveness of the proposed algorithms is demonstrated through simulation results.BELKACEM Kada MUNAWAR Khalid MUHAMMAD Shafique Shaikh 2020Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2020,31,6:16

3Magnetically treated water irrigation effect on turnip seed germination,seedling growth and enzymatic activities显示文摘Pre-sowing magnetic field seed treatment effects on biological characteristics of vegetables and crops have been studied well.However,studies reporting irrigation with magnetically treated water are scanty.Therefore,the effect of irrigation with magnetically treated water on turnip seed germination,seedling growth and enzymatic activities was evaluated.The tap water was treated at 211 mT for 30,45 and 60 min and used for irrigation of turnip seed and seedlings.Uniform and healthy turnip seed was sown under randomized complete block design(RCBD).The germination,emergence rate index,vigor index I and vigor index II increased up to 28.33%,11.54%,57.59%and 32.26%,respectively.The growth parameters such as seedling lengths,fresh&dry weights,chlorophyll content were also enhanced in response of irrigation with magnetically treated water.The seedlings irrigated with magnetically treated water showed 28.92%,11.36%and 14.76%higher protein content,alpha amylase and protease activities,respectively vs control.Results revealed that irrigation with magnetically treated water has potential to improve turnip germination,seedling growth and enzymatic activities and this study is also extendable to other vegetables and crops for the improvement of germination and growth.Zia ul Haq Munawar Iqbal Yasir Jamil Hafeez Anwar Ayesha Younis Muhammad Arif M.Zeshan Fareed Fida Hussain 2016Information Processing in Agriculture2016,3,2:5
4Nitrogen(N) metabolism related enzyme activities,cell uitrastructure and nutrient contents as affected by N level and barley genotype显示文摘Development of the new crop cultivars with high yield under low nitrogen(N) input is a fundamental approach to enhance agricultural sustainability,which is dependent on the exploitation of the elite germplasm.In the present study,four barley genotypes(two Tibetan wild and two cultivated),differing in N use efficiency(NUE),were characterized for their physiological and biochemical responses to different N levels.Higher N levels significantly increased the contents of other essential nutrients(P,K,Ca,Fe,Cu and Mn),and the increase was more obvious for the N-efficient genotypes(ZD9 and XZ149).The observation of ultrastructure showed that chloroplast structure was severely damaged under low nitrogen,and the two high N efficient genotypes were relatively less affected.The activities of the five N metabolism related enzymes,i.e.,nitrate reductase(NR),glutamine synthetase(GS),nitrite reductase(NiR),glutamate synthase(GOGAT) and glutamate dehydrogenase(GDH) all showed the substantial increase with the increased N level in the culture medium.However the increased extent differed among the four genotypes,with the two N efficient genotypes showing more increase in comparison with the other two genotypes with relative N inefficiency(HXRL and XZ56).The current findings showed that a huge difference exists in low N tolerance among barley genotypes,and improvement of some physiological traits(such as enzymes) could be helpful for increasing N utilization efficiency.Jawad Munawar Shah Syed Asad Hussain Bukhari ZENG Jian-bin QUAN Xiao-yan Essa Ali Noor Muhammad ZHANG Guo-ping 2017Journal of Integrative Agriculture2017,16,1:4

62D Carbon Fiber Reinforced High Density Polyethylene Multi-Layered Laminated Composite Panels:Structural,Mechanical,Thermal,and Morphological Profile显示文摘Carbon fiber reinforced high density polyethylene multi-layered laminated composite panels(HDPE/CF MLCP) with excellent in-plane properties along transverse direction have been formulated. Composite architectures with carbon fiber(CF) designed in 2D layout in conventional composites can alleviate their properties in thickness direction, but all attempts so far developed have achieved restrained success. Here,we have exposed an approach to the high strength composite challenge, without altering the 2D stack design on the basis of concept of fiber reinforced laminated composites that would provide enhanced mechanical and thermal properties along transverse direction. CF sheets allowed the buckling of adjoining plies in 2D MLCP. We fabricated 2D MLCP by stacking the alternative CF and HDPE layers under different loading conditions, which resulted in high strength composites. 10Source of the 2019 M_(W)6.9 Banten Intraslab earthquake modelled with GPS data inversion显示文摘The 2019 M_(W)6.9 Banten Intraslab earthquake occurred at~100 km to the northeast of the Sunda Trench with two nodal plane models estimated by the Global Centroid-Moment-Tensor(GCMT)Project with a strike of 200°and a dip of 65°.Continuous GPS data from 11 GPS sites were used to model the source of the earthquake in three-components.The coseismic displacements and its uncertainties are obtained from the coordinates of these GPS sites from 7 days before to 7 days after the earthquake.The coseismic slip is the inversion result of those displacements based on the best fit in an elastic half-space.The maximum displacement is~5 cm with a large uncertainty that is comparable to the amplitude of displacement.A seismic moment of the best model(strike of 65°and dip of 54°)is 2.79×10^(19) Nm or equivalent to M_(W)6.89.The fault model of the earthquake is highly presumed as a continuation of Sumatran Fault Zone.Satrio Muhammad Alif Erlangga Ibrahim Fattah Munawar Kholil Ongky Anggara 2021Geodesy and Geodynamics2021,12,4:0

13Investigation of functional,physical,mechanical and thermal properties of TiO_2 embedded polyester hybrid composites:A design of experiment(DoE)study显示文摘This paper presents a study on the Design of Experiments(Do E) approach to optimize the fabrication parameters of titania(TiO_2) embedded glass fiber reinforced polyester hybrid composites(HCs). HCs of unsaturated polyester resin(UPR) were fabricated using methyl ethyl ketone peroxide(MEKP) as the curing agent by hand lay-up process(HLUP) and compression molding technique(CMT). The fabrication parameters were optimized by Taguchi Do E(an orthogonal array of L25) using 3 control factors(concentration of TiO_2, concentration of MEKP and curing temperature) having 5 levels each. Statistical tools were employed to identify significant factors affecting tensile strengths and its reproducibility during HLUP. It was found that the concentration of TiO_2 in HCs significantly influenced the tensile strength(TS) followed by MEKP concentration and curing temperature. The highest value of TS was obtained at 3 wt% TiO_2, 2 wt% MEKP and 80 °C. Nevertheless, the sensitivity of TiO_2 concentration was basis for fabrication of polyester titania glass fiber hybrids(PTGFHs), which were further investigated for density and void fractions, linear shrinkage, flexural strength, impact strength, hardness and thermal behaviors. 14Knowledge and practices of primary care physicians on the current referral system of diabetic retinopathy in Islamabad and Rawal-Pindi, Pakistan显示文摘AIM: To assess the current knowledge and practices in diabetic eye care and referral system regarding diabetic retinopathy(DR) in health centers of Islamabad and RawalPindi. METHODS: A cross-sectional study was carried out in 4 government and private health centers in RawalpindiIslamabad from May 2018 to Oct. 2018. A total of 38 Primary Care Physicians(general practitioners, family physicians, and internists) were recruited out of which data for 2 were either not returned, or were missing partially. Data were collected through a 27-item consented & validated, multiple-choice questionnaire based on physician characteristics, knowledge and practice of diabetic eye care and challenges faced due current DR referral system. Descriptive analyses for all variables were performed including, mean and standard deviation. Analytical analyses were also conducted to study association between different study variables. RESULTS: Mean scores of knowledge for general practitioners, family physicians, and internists were 41.7%, 42.0% and 46.6% respectively. A lack of knowledge, and suboptimal practices were observed regarding signs, symptoms, screening, testing, evaluation and referral of DR regardless of physicians’ specialty, or years in practice. Lack of expertise regarding direct ophthalmoscopy, interpretation of findings, and referral to an ophthalmologist were noted. Physicians who performed consultation and counselling according to patients’ needs referred more patients to an ophthalmologist than those who restricted their consultationto a fixed amount of time and had more patients per unit time(P=0.01). Physicians who had taken care of less than 5 number of patients with DR marked less incorrect answers with no significantly greater number or correct answers compared to physicians who had taken care of more than 5 number of patients with DR(P=0.044). An association of more than 5 patients with DR taken care of with more need based patient consultation and counselling was also noted(P=0.017). An evaluation of the current referral system for DR revealed major loopholes in the health care infrastructure, proper guidelines, properly functioning equipment, check and balances, and lack of guidance to physicians regarding acquiring and updating knowledge regarding DR. CONCLUSION: Lack of updated and adequate knowledge, practices among primary care physicians, and suboptimal diabetic eye care and referral system have contributed to late presentation of DR.
