5Exploitation of Bi2O2Se/graphene van der Waals heterojunction for creating efficient photodetectors and short-channel field-effect transistors显示文摘The formation of heterojunction within solid-state devices enables them with eventually high performances,but provides a challenge for material synthesis and device fabrication because strict conditions such as lattice match are needed.Herein,we show a facile method to fabricate a van der Waals(vdW)heterojunction between two-dimensional(2D)bismuth oxyselenide(Bi2O2Se)and graphene,during which the graphene is directly transferred to the Bi2O2Se and served as a lowcontract-resistant electrode with small work function mismatch(~50 meV).As an optoelectronic device,the Bi2O2Se/graphene vdW heterojunction allows for the efficient sensing toward 1200-nm incident laser.Regarding the application of fieldeffect transistors(FETs),the short-channel(50 nm)sample can be synthesized by utilizing these two 2D materials(ie,channel:Bi2O2Se;drain/source terminal:graphene)and the n-type characteristic can be observed with the accordant field modulation.It is confirmed that we show a simple way to prepare the vdW heterojunction which is aiming to the high-performance applications among optoelectronics and FETs.Congwei Tan Shipu Xu Zhenjun Tan Luzhao Sun Jinxiong Wu Tianran Li Hailin Peng 2019InfoMat2019,1,3:8

7The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure. 8Lithofacies palaeogeography of the Upper Permian Changxing Stage in the Middle and Upper Yangtze Region,China显示文摘Based on the petrological study,according to single factor analysis and multifactor comprehensive mapping method,the quantitative lithofacies palaeogeography of the Upper Permian Changxing Stage of the Middle and Upper Yangtze Region was studied.The Changxing Stage in the Middle and Upper Yangtze Region is mainly composed of carbonate rocks;in addition,clastic and siliceous rocks occur with rare coals and pyroclastic rocks.Lithofacies can be divided into five types,including clastic rock assemblage,clastic rock-limestone assemblage,limestone assemblage,limestone-siliceous rock assemblage,and siliceous rock-clastic rock assemblage.Four fundamental ecological types and five fossil assemblages were recognized in the Changxing Stage.On the basis of the petrological and palaeoecological study,eight single factors were chosen including thickness,content of marine rocks,content of shallow water carbonate rocks,content of bioclasts with limemud matrix,content of bioclasts with sparry cement,distribution of reefs,content of thin bedded siliceous rocks and content of deep water sedimentary rocks.And eight single factor maps and one lithofacies paleogeographic map of the Changxing Stage were compiled.Paleoenvironments from west to east include an erosional area,fluvial plain,clastic platform,carbonate platform and reefs that developed there,slope and basin,low energy organic banks,and high energy organic banks.Sedimentary environments have an obvious control on the development of the source rocks,and the excellent source rocks are developed in the Dalong Formation.Changxing Stage reservoirs should be dominated by the reef and platform surrounding the GuangyuanLiangping Basin rim area,and is the most favorable exploration area of the reef petroleum reservoirs of the Changxing Formation.He Youbin Luo Jinxiong Wen Zhan 2013Journal of Palaeogeography2013,2,2:4

11The Brassica napus GATA transcription factor BnA5.ZML1 is a stigma compatibility factor显示文摘Self-incompatibility(SI)is a genetic mechanism that rejects self-pollen and thus prevents inbreeding in some hermaphroditic angiosperms.In the Brassicaceae,SI involves a pollen-stigma recognition system controlled by a single locus known as the S locus,which consists of two highly polymorphic genes that encode S-locus cysteine-rich protein(SCR)and S-receptor kinase(SRK).When self-pollen lands on the stigma,the S-haplotype-specific interaction between SCR and SRK triggers SI.Here,we show that the GATA transcription factor BnA5.ZML1 suppresses SI responses in Brassica napus and is induced after compatible pollination.The loss-of-function mutant bna5.zml1 displays reduced self-compatibility.In contrast,overexpression of BnA5.ZML1 in self-incompatible stigmas leads to a partial breakdown of SI responses,suggesting that BnA5.ZML1 is a stigmatic compatibility factor.Furthermore,the expression levels of SRK and ARC1 are up-regulated in bna5.zml1 mutants,and they are down-regulated in BnA5.ZML1 overexpressing lines.SRK affects the cellular localization of BnA5.ZML1 through direct protein–protein interaction.Overall,our findings highlight the fundamental role of BnA5.ZML1 in SI responses in B.napus,establishing a direct interaction between BnA5.ZML1 and SRK in this process.Zhiqiang Duan Yatao Zhang Jinxing Tu Jinxiong Shen Bin Yi Tingdong Fu Cheng Dai Chaozhi Ma 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,8:2
12Genome-wide prediction for hybrids between parents with distinguished difference on exotic introgressions in Brassica napus显示文摘Extensive exotic introgression could significantly enlarge the genetic distance of hybrid parental populations to promote strong heterosis.The goal of this study was to investigate whether genome-wide prediction can support pre-breeding in populations with exotic introgressions.We evaluated seed yield,seed yield related traits and seed quality traits of 363 hybrids of Brassica napus (AACC) derived from two parental populations divergent on massive exotic introgression of related species in three environments.The hybrids presented strong heterosis on seed yield,which was much higher than other investigated traits.Five genomic best linear unbiased prediction models considering the exotic introgression and different marker effects (additive,dominance,and epistatic effects) were constructed to test the prediction ability for different traits of the hybrids.The analysis showed that the trait complexity,exotic introgression,genetic relationship between the training set and testing set,training set size,and environments affected the prediction ability.The models with best prediction ability for different traits varied.However,relatively high prediction ability (e.g.,0.728 for seed yield) was also observed when the simplest models were used,excluding the effects of the special exotic introgression and epistasis effect by5-fold cross validation,which would simplify the prediction for the trait with complex architecture for hybrids with exotic introgression.The results provide novel insights and strategies for genome-wide prediction of hybrids between genetically distinct parent groups with exotic introgressions.Dandan Hu Yusheng Zhao Jinxiong Shen Xiangxiang He Yikai Zhang Yong Jiang Rod Snowdon Jinling Meng Jochen C.Reif Jun Zou 2021The Crop Journal2021,9,5:2

15MODELING CONTACTS OF IONIC POLYMER METAL COMPOSITES BASED TACTILE SENSORS显示文摘We report the first attempt to model the contacts of an ionic polymer metal composite(IPMC) based tactile sensor. The tactile sensor comprises an IPMC actuator, an IPMC sensor and the target to be detected. The system makes use of multiple contacts to work: the actuator comes into contact with the sensor and pushes the movement of sensor; the contact between the sensor and the object detects the existence and the stiffness of the target. We integrate modeling of various physical processes involved in IPMC devices to form a simulation scheme. An iteration and optimization strategy is also described to correlate the experimental and simulation results of an IPMC bending actuator to identify the two key parameters used in electromechanical transduction. 17Method towards optimal design of dielectric elastomer actuated soft machines显示文摘Soft machines are combinations of hard and soft active materials, thus the coupling and interaction between soft and hard components dictate the performance of soft machines. Structural optimization has been intensively used for design of conventional hard machines, while, to our best knowledge, few attempts have been made towards optimal design of soft machines. 19Bn.YCO affects chloroplast development in Brassica napus L.显示文摘Mature chloroplasts,as the main sites of photosynthesis,are essential for seedling growth in higher plants.Loss of function of genes involved in chloroplast development changes plant phenotype.We obtained a YELLOW COTYLEDON (YCO) mutant in rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) using CRISPR-Cas9.Bn.YCO,a gene of unknown function,has two homologous copies (Bna A01.YCO and Bna C01.YCO) in B.napus.Homozygous mutation of these two homologs resulted in yellow cotyledons and chlorotic true leaves.Transmission electron microscopy revealed that the formation of thylakoid membranes was inhibited in yellow cotyledons.Sequence similarity search revealed that YCO was conserved in different species,and a subcellular location assay verified that Bn.YCO was located in the chloroplast.Bn.YCO was expressed in multiple tissues,most highly in cotyledons.Knockout of Bn.YCO blocked the transcription of plastid genes,especially those of photosystem genes transcribed by plastid-encoded polymerase.Transcriptome sequencing showed that the majority of genes involved in ribosome assembly and photosynthesis were down-regulated in Bn.yco mutants.These results suggested that loss of function of Bn.YCO affected plastid gene transcription,which influenced chloroplast biogenesis in rapeseed seedlings.Tingting Liu Baolong Tao Hanfei Wu Jing Wen Bin Yi Chaozhi Ma Jinxing Tu Tingdong Fu Lixia Zhu Jinxiong Shen 2021The Crop Journal2021,9,5:1
