1Inhibition of FOXO3a/BIM signaling pathway contributes to the protective effect of salvianolic acid A against cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury显示文摘Salvianolic acid A(SalA) is an effective compound extracted from traditional Chinese medicine Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge. The Forkhead box O3a(FOXO3a) signaling pathway plays crucial roles in the modulation of ischemia-induced cell apoptosis. However, no information about the regulatory effect of SalA on FoxO3a is available. To explore the anti-cerebral ischemia effect and clarify the therapeutic mechanism of SalA, SH-SY5Y cells and Sprague–Dawley rats were applied, which were exposed to oxygen glucose deprivation/reoxygenation(OGD/R) and middle cerebral artery occlusion/reperfusion(MCAO/R) injuries, respectively. The involved pathway was identified using the specific inhibitor LY294002. Results showed that SalA concentration-dependently inhibited OGD/R injury triggered cell viability loss. SalA reduced cerebral infarction, lowered brain edema, improved neurological function, and inhibited neuron apoptosis in MCAO/R rats, which were attenuated by the treatment of phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase(PI3K) specific inhibitor LY294002. SalA time-and concentration-dependently upregulated the phosphorylation levels of protein kinase B(AKT) and its downstream protein FOXO3a. Moreover, the nuclear translocation of FOXO3a was inhibited by SalA both in vivo and in vitro, which was also reversed by LY294002. 2热处理前后非脱气交联聚乙烯的介电性能和机械性能分析(英文)显示文摘In order to investigate the influence of cross-linking byproducts on dielectric and mechanical properties of 110k V cross-linked polyethylene(XLPE)cable insulation,we selected the undegassed XLPE cable insulation which is heated at 70℃in laboratory for different duration in terms of heating time,to prepare XLPE samples with different mass loss ratio.We carried out Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)test,electric breakdown test at 50 Hz,pulsed electro-acoustic(PEA)measurement and tensile test for XLPE samples.In FTIR spectrogram,the characteristic absorption peaks were observed to appear at 1 680 cm-1 and 1 600 cm-1,which can be related to two kinds of cross-linking byproducts includingα-methylstyrene and acetophenone.The intensity of these absorption peaks decreases with the increase of mass loss ratio.It can be proposed that the mass loss of XLPE samples in the process of thermal treatment is caused by volatiliztion ofα-methylstyrene and acetophenone.Therefore,the change of mass loss ratio can reflect the change of content ofα-methylstyrene and acetophenone in the process of thermal treatment.The results of electric breakdown test showed that the reduction ofα-methylstyrene and acetophenone leads to the enhancement of electric breakdown strength at 50 Hz.PEA measurement results showed that heterocharge is produced and accumulated when cross-linking byproducts are present,whereas no heterocharge is found whenα-methylstyrene and acetophenone are absent.The formation of heterocharge is attributed to ionization of cross-linking byproducts under electric stress.Based on these results,it can be suggested that when AC electric field is applied on XLPE samples,the occurrence of ionization of cross-linking byproducts results in the increase of free carriers in XLPE insulation,leading to a lower electric breakdown strength.The results of tensile test showed that tensile strength is proportional to the mass loss ratio of XLPE samples,which suggests that cross-linking byproducts can reduce the tensile strength of XLPE insulation.LI Huan LI Jianying WANG Qimeng ZHOU Yunjie LI Honglei 2015高电压技术2015,41,4:11
3Magnetic manganese-based composites with multiple loss mechanisms towards broadband absorption显示文摘The weak dielectric properties and the lack of magnetic loss of manganese-based absorbers are obstructed as the new generation of electromagnetic wave absorption(EMA)materials applying in microelectronic devices.Herein,the sulfuration and subsequent compounding strategies have been employed to enhance the EMA performance of multi-shell nanosphere-shaped Mn_(2)O_(3)materials.With the narrow bandgap,the as-obtained MnS possesses reinforced electrical conductivity,which is conducive to conductivity loss.More importantly,the presence of potential difference between different phases will form space charge region at the heterogeneous interface,thus favoring interfacial polarization.Additionally,the improvement of magnetic loss is attributed to the presence of Co_(3)O_(4)nanoparticles.Consequently,the composites present enhanced EMA performance than original Mn_(2)O_(3).Specifically,the minimum reflection loss of as-prepared composites is−51.4 dB at the thickness of 1.8 mm and the broad effective absorption bandwidth reaches 6.2 GHz at 1.9 mm.The low matching thickness and high absorption efficiency in this work can provide a convincing reference when designing distinguished manganese-based absorbers.Yue Liu Zirui Jia Qianqian Zhan Yuhao Dong Qimeng Xu Guanglei Wu 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:6
4Soil erosion assessment by RUSLE with improved P factor and its validation:Case study on mountainous and hilly areas of Hubei Province,China显示文摘The Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation(RUSLE)is widely used to estimate regional soil erosion.However,quantitative impacts of soil and water conservation(SWC)measures on conservation practice factor(P)of the RUSLE remain largely unclear,especially for the mountainous and hilly areas.In this study,we improved the RUSLE by considering quantitative impacts of different SWC measures on the P factor value.The improved RUSLE was validated against the long-term(2000-2015)soil erosion monitoring data obtained from 96 runoff plots(15—35°)in mountainous and hilly areas of Hubei Province,China;the result presented a high accuracy with the determination coefficient of 0.89.Based on the erosion monitoring data of 2018 and 2019,the Root Mean Square Error of the result by the improved RUSLE was 28.0%smaller than that by the original RUSLE with decrement of 19.6%—24.0%in the average P factor values,indicating that the soil erosion modelling accuracy was significantly enhanced by the improved RUSLE.Relatively low P factor values appeared for farmlands with tillage measures(P<0.53),grasslands with engineering measures(P<0.23),woodlands with biological measures(P<0.28),and other land use types with biological measures(P<0.51).The soil erosion modulus showed a downward trend with the corresponding values of 1681.21,1673.14,1594.70,1482.40 and 1437.50 t km^(-2)a-1 in 2000,2005,2010,2015 and 2019,respectively.The applicability of the improved RUSLE was verified by the measurements in typical mountainous and hilly areas of Hubei Province,China,and arrangements of SWC measures of this area were proposed.Pei Tian Zhanliang Zhu Qimeng Yue Yi He Zhaoyi Zhang Fanghua Hao Wenzhao Guo Lin Chen Muxing Liu 2021International Soil and Water Conservation Research2021,9,3:4
5Restoring environmental flows and improving riparian ecosystem of Tarim River显示文摘Rapid population growth and artificial oasis enlargement did pose great threat to the natural riparian ecosystems of Tarim River and caused seriously ecological deterioration and greater desertification of the Tarim River Basin in the second half of 20 century. Restoration of the endangered riparian ecosystem requires that environmental flow should be restored through restricted and uncontrolled flow diversion irrigation in tributary areas. Implementation of such restriction needs further the basin-wide reallocation of water resources through a set of engineering and non-engineering measures taken to ensure the water requirement in the tributary and maintain effective flows in Tarim River. As one of evolving HELP (Hydrology for Environment, Life and Policy) basins, the article first presents an overview of hydrology, socio-economic development and ecosystem evolution of the Tarim River Basin. Then, those measures for restoring and maintaining environmental flow are reviewed and analyzed along with its applicability and validity. The issues emerging in implementing those measures are also explored, and then the conclusions were summarized. 9Petrogenesis and Metallogenesis of the Mazaertag Layered Intrusion in the Tarim Large Igneous Province,NW China显示文摘The Mazaertag layered intrusion is located in the northwestern part of the Tarim large igneous province where several early Permian layered mafic-ultramafic intrusions host important Fe-Ti oxide deposits. The intrusion covers an area of ~0.13 km^2 and has a vertical stratigraphic thickness of at least300 m. It consists chiefly of olivine clinopyroxenite, and is cut through by the nearby mafic-ultramafic dykes. In this paper, we report new mineral chemistry data and whole-rock chemical and isotopic compositions for the Mazaertag intrusion along with whole-rock isotopic compositions for the nearby mafic dykes. The averaged compositions of cumulus olivine, clinopyroxene and intercumulus plagioclase within individual samples range from Fo_(71-73),Mg~# = 76 to 79 and An_(65-75) but they do not define sustained reversals. The observed mineral compositions are consistent with the differentiation of a single batch of magma in a closed system. Rocks of the Mazaertag intrusion are characterized by enrichment in light REE relative to heavy REE, positive Nb and Ta anomalies and a small range of age-corrected ε_(Nd)(t)(-0.1 to +0.9) and initial ^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr values(0.7044 to 0.7068). The slightly lower ε_(Nd)(t), initial ^(206)Pb/^(204)Pb and higher initial ^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr values of the intrusion compared to those of the least contaminated dykes[ε_(Nd)(t) =+2.8 to +3.4;(^(206)Pb/^(204)Pb)_i = 18.516-18.521;(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)_i = 0.7038-0.7041] imply that the Mazaertag magma was subjected to small to modest degrees of contamination by the upper crust. The Sr-Nd isotopic compositions of the least contaminated dykes are consistent with derivation from a FOZO-like mantle source. The parental magma of the Mazaertag intrusion, estimated from clinopyroxene compositions using mineral-melt partition coefficients, has trace element compositions similar to some of the most primitive mafic dykes in the same area. This suggests that the Mazaertag intrusion and mafic dykes shared a similar mantle source. Therefore, the parental magma of the Mazaertag intrusion was interpreted to have originated from a mantle plume. Based on the Cr_2 O_3 contents in titanomagnetite and less-evolved characteristics of the Mazaertag intrusion compared to the Wajilitag Fe-Ti oxide deposit in Bachu, it is speculated that there might not be a potential to find economic Fe-Ti oxide mineralization in the intrusion.CAO Jun WANG Qimeng 2017Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2017,91,5:2

18A quick and reliable image-based AI algorithm for evaluating cellular senescence of gastric organoids显示文摘Objective:Organoids are a powerful tool with broad application prospects in biomedicine.Notably,they provide alternatives to animal models for testing potential drugs before clinical trials.However,the number of passages for which organoids maintain cellular vitality ex vivo remains unclear.Methods:Herein,we constructed 55 gastric organoids from 35 individuals,serially passaged the organoids,and captured microscopic images for phenotypic evaluation.Senescence-associatedβ-galactosidase(SA-β-Gal),cell diameter in suspension,and gene expression reflecting cell cycle regulation were examined.The YOLOv3 object detection algorithm integrated with a convolutional block attention module(CBAM)was used to evaluate organoid vitality.Results:SA-β-Gal staining intensity;single-cell diameter;and expression of p15,p16,p21,CCNA2,CCNE2,and LMNB1 reflected the progression of aging in organoids during passaging.The CBAM-YOLOv3 algorithm precisely evaluated aging organoids on the basis of organoid average diameter,organoid number,and number×diameter,and the findings positively correlated with SA-β-Gal staining and single-cell diameter.Organoids derived from normal gastric mucosa had limited passaging ability(passages 1–5),before aging,whereas tumor organoids showed unlimited passaging potential for more than 45 passages(511 days)without showing clear senescence.Conclusions:Given the lack of indicators for evaluating organoid growth status,we established a reliable approach for integrated analysis of phenotypic parameters that uses an artificial intelligence algorithm to indicate organoid vitality.This method enables precise evaluation of organoid status in biomedical studies and monitoring of living biobanks.Ruixin Yang Yutong Du Wingyan Kwan Ranlin Yan Qimeng Shi Lu Zang Zhenggang Zhu Jianming Zhang Chen Li Yingyan Yu 2023Cancer Biology & Medicine2023,20,7:1
