5BCRP基因在非小细胞肺癌组织和非癌肺组织中的表达及意义显示文摘目的:进一步研究从人类乳腺癌细胞株 (MCF-7/AdrVp)中克隆出的、对蒽环类抗癌药耐药的 BCRP基因在非癌肺组织及非小细胞肺癌组织中的表达。方法:从术后即刻获得的正常肺组织和有活力的非小细胞肺癌组织新鲜标本中及时提取细胞总 RNA,通过 RT-PCR及 PCR法获得并扩增 BCRP基因的 cDNA产物,再经凝胶电泳分离 BCRP基因 cDNA带,然后再通过转膜技术把这些 BCRP基因 cDNA产物转移到杂交膜上,用 Southern blot杂交技术检测 BCRP基因的表达程度。结果:细胞总 RNA分别从 8个只有肺癌组织标本和 12对同时获取的肺癌组织及非癌肺组织标本中成功提取,然后用变性凝胶电泳鉴定提取 RNA的质量。其中 4例标本因术中缺血时间太长,或有坏死炎症或术前放化疗等原因,所提 RNA有降解而放弃进一步的检测。通过 RT-PCR及 PCR方法从 16例可用标本中获得并扩增 BCRP基因的 cDNA产物,再通过转膜及 Southern blot杂交技术,最终发现 BCRP基因在正常肺组织中均有不同程度的表达( 10/10),而在非小细胞肺癌组织标本中只有一半病人的标本有不同程度的表达 (8/16)。结论: BCRP基因可能是一个在非癌肺组织中常规表达的基因,而在部分病人的肺癌组织中可能此基因有缺失或被抑制。因此。毛友生 Austin Doyle Weidong Yang Yuetong Wei Mark J.Krasna Douglas D.Ross 2001癌症2001,20,3:9
6基于Lattice Boltzmann方法的页岩张性裂缝渗流特征研究显示文摘为深入了解张性裂缝结构中流体渗流特征,采用物理实验和数值模拟相结合的方法,系统研究流体在页岩张性裂缝中的渗流特征。将Barnett页岩岩心劈裂成张性裂缝,并采集裂缝面数据,将其作为物理模型,同时采用LBM-BKG方法 D3Q19模型研究流体在张性裂缝中的流动。研究尺度依次为整体、截面、截线、离散单元体,考察各尺度下渗流场特征参数分布,并分析原因。研究表明:整体上,沿渗流横向和纵向上压力均呈线性分布,横向各截线上压力呈波动式线性分布,纵向截线上压力分布呈非线性;缝面端部局部区域会产生回流区,回流区与粗糙性及粗糙性变化程度有关;近平均速度的速度等值面间基本呈平行分布,速度较大时,等值面基本对应于端面相对平缓的区域;沿同一流线,渗流速度略有差别;整体渗流为稳态,不代表渗流场各处速度相等,离散的渗流单元体的渗流速度各不相同;三维粗糙性造成了渗流速度的三维分布,但主要以渗流方向和垂向上渗流速度为主。该项研究对深入理解页岩等裂缝发育储层的裂缝系统渗流具有重要意义。曲冠政 周德胜 彭娇 Randy Doyle Hazlett Siwei Wu 2018特种油气藏2018,25,1:7
7The application of carbon materials in nonaqueous Na‐O2 batteries显示文摘Na‐O2 batteries are advantageous as the candidates of next‐generation electric vehicles due to their ultrahigh theoretical energy density and have attracted enormous attention recently.Tremendous efforts have been devoted to improve the Na‐O2 battery performance by designing advanced electrodes with various carbonbased materials.Carbon materials used in Na‐O2 batteries not only function as the air electrode to provide active sites and accommodate discharge products but also as Na anode protectors against dendrite growth and chemical/electrochemical corrosion.In this review,we mainly focus on the application of various carbonbased materials in Na‐O2 batteries and highlight their advances.The scientific understanding on the fundamental design of the material microstructure and chemistry in relation to the battery performance are summarized.Finally,perspectives on enhancing the overall battery performance based on the optimization and rational design of carbon‐based cell components are also briefly anticipated.Xiaoting Lin Qian Sun Kieran Doyle Davis Ruying Li Xueliang Sun 2019Carbon Energy2019,1,2:5

11Long term outcomes for patients treated with half-fluence photodynamic therapy for chronic central serous chorioretinopathy: a case series显示文摘A case series was used to evaluate the efficacy of halffluence photodynamic therapy(PDT) for chronic central serous chorioretinopathy(CSCR). Patients were treated with standard-dose verteporfin and half-fluence PDT. Totally 13 eyes from 11 patients were included. The mean patient age was 52.0 y. There was a mean reduction in central retinal thickness of 107.0 microns. Totally 7/13 eyes(53.8%) achieved resolution of subretinal fluid(SRF) on optical coherence tomography(OCT) scan after 1 treatment with PDT. Four eyes had further treatment with PDT; of these 1 eye achieved resolution of SRF. Seven of the 13 eyes(53.8%) achieved an improvement of more than 5 ETDRS letters. One patient experienced acute macula oedema 1 d post PDT treatment. These results support the hypothesis that half-fluence PDT can have a positive effect in chronic CSCR for a gain in visual acuity and reduction in sub-retinal fluid. 15PREDICTING THE DEPTH OF EROSION IN RESERVOIRS FOLLOWING DAM REMOVAL USING BANK STABILITY ANALYSIS显示文摘Dam removal has emerged in the U.S. as a critical concern for river management. Of particular interest is predicting the quantity of sediment that will be eroded from a reservoir following dam removal, which necessitates predicting the geometry a channel will approach as it forms in the reservoir. The geometry and sediment characteristics of the Koshkonong River were measured as it adjusted to the removal of the Rockdale Dam. Bank stability modeling was used as a tool for predicting the maximum depth of the evolving channel and general agreement was found between depths predicted with the model and those observed up to one year following dam removal. Model sensitivity analysis showed strong control of bank heights by groundwater levels in the reservoir sediment, as well as some control by vegetation established on the sediment surface. Long-term monitoring is needed to assess the accuracy of the model, but preliminary agreement is encouraging for applying this model and similar models to future dam removals.Martin W. DOYLE Emily H. 16Characterising acute ischaemic stroke thrombi:insights from histology,imaging and emerging impedance-based technologies显示文摘Treatment of acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)focuses on rapid recanalisation of the occluded artery.In recent years,advent of mechanical thrombectomy devices and new procedures have accelerated the analysis of thrombi retrieved during the endovascular thrombectomy procedure.Despite ongoing developments and progress in AIS imaging techniques,it is not yet possible to conclude definitively regarding thrombus characteristics that could advise on the probable efficacy of thrombolysis or thrombectomy in advance of treatment.Intraprocedural devices with dignostic capabilities or new clinical imaging approaches are needed for better treatment of AIS patients.In this review,what is known about the composition of the thrombi that cause strokes and the evidence that thrombus composition has an impact on success of acute stroke treatment has been examined.This review also discusses the evidence that AIS thrombus composition varies with aetiology,questioning if suspected aetiology could be a useful indicator to stroke physicians to help decide the best acute course of treatment.Furthermore,this review discusses the evidence that current widely used radiological imaging tools can predict thrombus composition.Further use of new emerging technologies based on bioimpedance,as imaging modalities for diagnosing AIS and new medical device tools for detecting thrombus composition in situ has been introduced.Whether bioimpedance would be beneficial for gaining new insights into in situ thrombus composition that could guide choice of optimum treatment approach is also reviewed.Smita Patil Jean Darcourt Pierluca Messina Franz Bozsak Christophe Cognard Karen Doyle 2022Stroke & Vascular Neurology2022,7,4:3
