1Progresses on microwave remote sensing of land surface parameters显示文摘Highly accurate observations at various scales on the land surface are urgently needed for the studies of many areas,such as hydrology,meteorology,and agriculture.With the rapid development of remote sensing techniques,remote sensing has had the capacity of monitoring many factors of the Earth's land surface.Especially,the space-borne microwave remote sensing systems have been widely used in the quantitative monitoring of global snow,soil moisture,and vegetation parameters with their all-weather,all-time observation capabilities and their sensitivities to the characteristics of land surface factors.Based on the electromagnetic theories and microwave radiative transfer equations,researchers have achieved great successes in the microwave remote sensing studies for different sensors in recent years.This article has systematically reviewed the progresses on five research areas including microwave theoretical modeling,microwave inversion on soil moisture,snow,vegetation and land surface temperatures.Through the further enrichment of remote sensing datasets and the development of remote sensing theories and inversion techniques,remote sensing including microwave remote sensing will play a more important role in the studies and applications of the Earth systems.SHI JianCheng DU Yang DU JinYang JIANG LingMei CHAI LinNa MAO KeBiao XU Peng NI WenJian XIONG Chuan LIU Qiang LIU ChenZhou GUO Peng CUI Qian LI YunQing CHEN Jing WANG AnQi LUO HeJia WANG YinHui 2012Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,7:24
2Improvement of snow depth retrieval for FY3B-MWRI in China显示文摘The primary objective of this work is to develop an operational snow depth retrieval algorithm for the FengYun3B Microwave Radiation Imager(FY3B-MWRI)in China.Based on 7-year(2002–2009)observations of brightness temperature by the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer-EOS(AMSR-E)and snow depth from Chinese meteorological stations,we develop a semi-empirical snow depth retrieval algorithm.When its land cover fraction is larger than 85%,we regard a pixel as pure at the satellite passive microwave remote-sensing scale.A 1-km resolution land use/land cover(LULC)map from the Data Center for Resources and Environmental Sciences,Chinese Academy of Sciences,is used to determine fractions of four main land cover types(grass,farmland,bare soil,and forest).Land cover sensitivity snow depth retrieval algorithms are initially developed using AMSR-E brightness temperature data.Each grid-cell snow depth was estimated as the sum of snow depths from each land cover algorithm weighted by percentages of land cover types within each grid cell.Through evaluation of this algorithm using station measurements from 2006,the root mean square error(RMSE)of snow depth retrieval is about 5.6 cm.In forest regions,snow depth is underestimated relative to ground observation,because stem volume and canopy closure are ignored in current algorithms.In addition,comparison between snow cover derived from AMSR-E and FY3B-MWRI with Moderate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)snow cover products(MYD10C1)in January 2010 showed that algorithm accuracy in snow cover monitoring can reach 84%.Finally,we compared snow water equivalence(SWE)derived using FY3B-MWRI with AMSR-E SWE products in the Northern Hemisphere.The results show that AMSR-E overestimated SWE in China,which agrees with other validations.JIANG LingMei WANG Pei ZHANG LiXin YANG Hu YANG JunTao 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,6:22

4The development of an algorithm to enhance and match the resolution of satellite measurements from AMSR-E显示文摘Microwave radiometers have many applications because of their penetration ability. However, two major problems remain that obstruct the development of microwave research. One factor that limits their commercial application is the relatively low resolution of microwave radiometers. The other is the non-uniform spatial resolution for each frequency of the radiometer. The resolution mismatch becomes a critical consideration when observations at two or more frequencies must be combined. In this paper, we have used the Backus-Gilbert method to solve these two problems, while AMSR-E is chosen as the research object. First, we derived the Backus-Gilbert method in detail. The simulated data were then used to decide the optimum parameters in the Backus-Gilbert method. To enhance the resolution, the Backus-Gilbert method has been applied to the AMSR-E data, which covered the Mexico Gulf and the Amazon River. After resolution was enhanced, detailed information was obtained and compared with visible high resolution data. To match the resolution, the AMSR-E data from the Oklahoma Little Washed were used to compute the Microwave Vegetation Index (MVI), which was developed by J. C. Shi. 5Effect of occurrence mode of heavy metal elements in a low rank coal on volatility during pyrolysis显示文摘The harmful trace elements will be released during coal utilization, which can cause environment pollution and further endangering human health, especially for heavy metal elements. Compared to combustion, the release of heavy metal elements during coal pyrolysis process, as a critical initial reaction stage of combustion, has not received sufficient attention. In the present paper, a low rank coal, from Xinjiang province in China, was pyrolyzed in a fixed bed reactor from room temperature, at atmospheric pressure, with the heating rate of 10 °C/min, and the final pyrolysis temperature was from 400 to 800℃ with the interval of 100℃. The volatility of heavy metal elements (including As, Hg, Cd and Pb) during pyrolysis process was investigated. The results showed the volatility of all heavy metal elements increased obviously with increasing temperature, and followed the sequence as Hg > Cd > As > Pb, which was mainly caused by their thermodynamic property and occurrence modes in coal. The occurrence modes of heavy metals were studied by sink-andfloat test and sequential chemical extraction procedure, and it can be found that the heavy metal elements were mainly in the organic and residual states (clay minerals) in the raw coal. 16Alterations of endotoxin distribution across different biofluids and relevant inflammatory responses by supplementing L-theanine in dairy cows during heat stress显示文摘The present trial was performed to reveal the regulatory effects of L-theanine on the levels of lipopolysaccharide(LPS)endotoxin within different biofluids,as well as relevant inflammatory responses of dairy cattle under heat stress conditions.Thirty lactating Chinese Holstein dairy cattle(189±47 d in milk,and 2±1 parities)were allocated in a completely randomized design to each of 3 dietary treatments:the control(CON,0 g/d per cow L-theanine),the low L-theanine dosage treatment(LL,16 g/d per cow L-theanine),and the high L-theanine dosage treatment(HL,32 g/d per cow L-theanine).This trial consisted of 38 d(7 d for adaption and 31 d for data and sample collection),and sample collection for rumen liquid,blood plasma or serum,and milk were conducted on the d 27 and 38,respectively.Dairy cattle were constantly exposed to environmental heat stress during this experiment according to the recorded temperature-humidity index(THI).In the LL treatment,LPS concentration in rumen liquid was higher(P<0.05),whilst LPS densities in plasma and milk were lower(P<0.05)than those of the CON.Supplementing L-theanine at 2 dosages both significantly lowered(P<0.05)the level of interleukin(IL)-1βin the serum.Results of the present study suggested that L-theanine could be a promising additive in reducing the detrimental effects of heat stress on dairy cows,and L-theanine supplementation at 16 g/d per cow is preferred because it reduced the LPS translocation into the peripheral blood and LPS accumulation in the milk,as well as mitigated LPS-induced inflammatory reactions in dairy cows during heat stress.Further studies are necessitated to investigate the underlying mechanisms of L-theanine in LPS alteration and inflammation alleviation.Zuo Wang Lingmei Zhang Zhicai Li Yuannian Yu Lingyuan Yang Peihua Zhang Weijun Shen Fachun Wan Jianhua He Wenjun Xiao Dasheng Yang Zhiliang Tan Shaoxun Tang 2021Animal Nutrition2021,,4:1

19Determination of 24 Allergens in Perfume with High Performance Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry显示文摘A method of 24 allergens determination in cosmetics were established with high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. The targeted compounds were extracted with acetonitrile and determined with LC-MS/MS (MRM mode) with external method. The linearity between concentrations and peak area ratio was obtained from 1.0~5.0 mg/L. The limits of detection were 1.0 mg/L for the instrument and 5.0 mg/kg for the method respectively. The LOQ was 15.0 mg/L. The average recoveries of 24 allergens were between 85.9% and 110.0% at spiked levels of 5, 10 and 20 mg/kg with relative standard derivation (RSDs) of 5.5%~12.0%(n=10). 20Morphology and Function of the Aortic Valve after Transcatheter Closure of Ventricular Septal Defect with Aortic Valve Prolapse显示文摘Objective:This study aims to evaluate the morphology and function of the aortic valve after transcatheter closure of ventricular septal defect(VSD)with aortic valve prolapse(AVP)abased on clinical and radiological outcomes.Methods:From January 2013 to November 2014,164 consecutive patients(97 males,59.1%)with VSD and AVP were treated by transcatheter closure.The patients were divided into the mild AVP group(n=63),moderate AVP group(n=89)and severe AVP group(n=12).The clinical and radiological outcomes of these patients were analyzed retrospectively.Results:In total,146(89.0%)patients were successfully treated with VSD occluders,including 59/63(93.7%)with mild AVP,80/89(89.9%)with moderate AVP and 7/12(58.3%)with severe AVP.The degree of AVP was ameliorated or disappeared in 39(26.7%)patients,and remained unchanged in 103(70.5%)patients after the intervention.In the 35 patients who initially had trivial-to-moderate aortic regurgitation(AR),the degree of AR was ameliorated or disappeared in 25(71.4%)patients,aggravated from trivial to mild AR in 1(2.9%)patient,and remained unchanged in 9(25.7%)patients.In 111 patients without AR,1(0.9%)patient had mild AR and 24(21.6%)patients had trivial AR after intervention.The depth and width of the prolapsed aortic valve decreased after transcatheter closure of VSD in all three groups.During the 70-month(range,54–77)follow-up period,no patients with AVP and AR needed an aortic valve intervention.Conclusions:Transcatheter closure of VSD with AVP is feasible.The morphology and function of the prolapsed aortic valve improved and remained stable for a long period after intervention.Wenqian Zhang Chaojie Wang Lingmei Zhou Junjie Li Jijun Shi Yumei Xie Mingyang Qian Shushui Wang Zhiwei Zhang 2021Congenital Heart Disease2021,16,5:0
