4Modeling and Simulation on Axial Piston Pump Based on Virtual Prototype Technology显示文摘A particular emphasis is placed on the virtual prototype technology(VPT) of axial piston pump.With this technology it is convenient and flexible to build a complicated 3D virtual based on real physical model.The actual kinematics pairs of the parts were added on the model.The fluid characters were calculated by hydraulic software.The shape of the parts, the flexible body of parts, etc were improved in this prototype.So the virtual prototype of piston pump can work in computer like a real piston pump, and the flow ripple, pressure pulsation, motion principle, stress of parts, etc can be investigated.The development of the VPT is introduced at the beginning, and the modeling process of the virtual prototype is explained.Then a special emphasis is laid on the relationship between the dynamics model and the hydraulic model, and the simulations on the flow ripple, pressure pulsation, motion principle, the stress and strain distribution of the middle shaft and piston are operated.Finally, the advantages and disadvantages of the VPT are discussed.The improved virtual prototype of piston pump more tally with the real situation and the VPT has a great potential in simulation on hydraulic components.ZHANG Bin XU Bing XIA Chunlin YANG Huayong 2009Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2009,22,1:29
5Neuroprotective effects of rutaecarpine on cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury显示文摘Rutaecarpine,an active component of the traditional Chinese medicine Tetradium ruticarpum,has been shown to improve myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury.Because both cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are forms of ischemic vascular disease,they are closely related.We hypothesized that rutaecarpine also has neuroprotective effects on cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury.A cerebral ischemia reperfusion model was established after 84,252 and 504 μg/kg rutaecarpine were given to mice via intraperitoneal injection,daily for 7 days.Results of the step through test,2,3,5-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride dyeing and oxidative stress indicators showed that rutaecarpine could improve learning and memory ability,neurological symptoms and reduce infarction volume and cerebral water content in mice with cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury.Rutaecarpine could significantly decrease the malondialdehyde content and increase the activities of superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase in mouse brain.Therefore,rutaecarpine could improve neurological function following injury induced by cerebral ischemia reperfusion,and the mechanism of this improvement may be associated with oxidative stress.These results verify that rutaecarpine has neuroprotective effects on cerebral ischemia reperfusion in mice.Chunlin Yan Ji Zhang Shu Wang Guiping Xue Yong Hou 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,22:20

7High-resolution geochemistry records of climate changes since late-glacial from Dajiuhu peat in Shennongjia Mountains,Central China显示文摘A peat core with depths of 297 cm was obtained from the Dajiuhu Basin(31°29′27″N,109°59′45″E,1760 m)in Hubei Province,Central China.10 AMS ages provide a time control and reveal that this core spans the past about 16.0 kaBP(calibrated age)(1 4C age:13.3 kaBP).Multi-proxy indexes analysis of geochemistry shows the following character of climate and environmental changes since about 16 kaBP:(1) The climate during the late-glacial period was cold and wet as a whole,but fluctuated continually.11.4- 12.6 cal.kaBP,12.6-15.2 cal.kaBP and 15.2-16 kaBP were corresponding respectively to the Younger Drays,Bφlling-Allerφd Warm Period and the Oldest Drays.(2)Inheriting the some climate characteristics of the late-glacial,the climate during the early-Holocene was wet and temperature increased gradually,during which an obvious dry event around 10.6 cal.kaB appeared.(3)The climate during the mid-Holocene was genarally warm and wet.During 9.2-7.5 kaBP,temperature increased gradually, precipitation was less comparatively and the 8.2 kaBP cold event which might be representative in the globe was reflected markedly.Then,multi-proxy records were relatively stable during 6.7-4.2 kaBP, which shows the best water and thermal condition in the Holocene Optimum.(4)Around 4.2 kaBP,the climate and environment transform from warm and wet to cool and dry,which may result in the collapse of the Neolithic Culture and midwifery the civilization of Xia Dynasty in this region.After 0.9 kaBP,the climate turned cool and wet.Climate and environmental changes archived in Dajiuhu peat respond to the global changes since the late-glacial period and can be contrasted to the changes recorded in other high-resolution archives from the East Asia Monsoon region,which take on the variety model that the monsoon strengthened abruptly after the late-glacial,was strong during the early Holocene,subse- quently declined and became weak after the middle Holocene with dry climate.According to our analysis,the driving mechanism should be the response of solar radiation changes in the East Asia Monsoon region at middle latitudes.MA ChunMei ZHU Cheng ZHENG ChaoGui WU ChunLin GUAN Yong ZHAO ZhiPing HUANG LinYan HUANG Run 2008Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,S1:19
8Down.regulation of E.cadherin enhances prostate cancer chemoresistance via Notch signaling显示文摘Background:The chemoresistance of prostate cancer(PCa)is invariably associated with the aggressiveness and metastasis of this disease.New emerging evidence indicates that the epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition(EMT)may play pivotal roles in the development of chemoresistance and metastasis.As a hallmark of EMT,E-cadherin is suggested to be a key marker in the development of chemoresistance.However,the molecular mechanisms underlying PCa chemoresistance remain unclear.The current study aimed to explore the association between EMT and chemoresistance in PCa as well as whether changing the expression of E-cadherin would affect PCa chemoresistance.Methods:Parental PC3 and DU145 cells and their chemoresistant PC3-Tx R and DU145-Tx R cells were analyzed.PC3-Tx R and DU145-Tx R cells were transfected with E-cadherin-expressing lentivirus to overexpress E-cadherin;PC3 and DU145 cells were transfected with small interfering RNA to silence E-cadherin.Changes of EMT phenotype-related markers and signaling pathways were assessed by Western blotting and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction.Tumor cell migration,invasion,and colony formation were then evaluated by wound healing,transwell,and colony formation assays,respectively.The drug sensitivity was evaluated using MTS assay.Results:Chemoresistant PC3-Tx R and DU145-Tx R cells exhibited an invasive and metastatic phenotype that associated with EMT,including the down-regulation of E-cadherin and up-regulation of Vimentin,Snail,and N-cadherin,comparing with that of parental PC3 and DU145 cells.When E-cadherin was overexpressed in PC3-Tx R and DU145-Tx R cells,the expression of Vimentin and Claudin-1 was down-regulated,and tumor cell migration and invasion were inhibited.In particular,the sensitivity to paclitaxel was reactivated in E-cadherin-overexpressing PC3-Tx R and DU145-Tx R cells.When E-cadherin expression was silenced in parental PC3 and DU145 cells,the expression of Vimentin and Snail was up-regulated,and,particularly,the sensitivity to paclitaxel was decreased.Interestingly,Notch-1 expression was up-regulated in PC3-Tx R and DU145-Tx R cells,whereas the E-cadherin expression was down-regulated in these cells comparing with their parental cells.The use ofγ-secretase inhibitor,a Notch signaling pathway inhibitor,significantly increased the sensitivity of chemoresistant cells to paclitaxel.Conclusion:The down-regulation of E-cadherin enhances PCa chemoresistance via Notch signaling,and inhibiting the Notch signaling pathway may reverse PCa chemoresistance.Wenchu Wang Lihui Wang Atsushi Mizokami Junlin Shi Chunlin Zou Jinlu Dai Evan T. 9Issues and solutions toward zinc anode in aqueous zinc-ion batteries: A mini review显示文摘Aqueous zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs)have been intensively investigated as potential energy storage devices on account of their low cost,environmental benignity,and intrinsically safe merits.With the exploitation of highperformance cathode materials,electrolyte systems,and in-depth mechanism investigation,the electrochemical performances of ZIBs have been greatly enhanced.However,there are still some challenges that need to be overcome before its commercialization.Among them,the obstinate dendrites,corrosion,and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)on Zn anodes are critical issues that severely limit the practical applications of ZIBs.To address these issues,various strategies have been proposed,and tremendous progress has been achieved in the past few years.In this article,we analyze the origins and effects of the dendrites,corrosion,and HER on Zn anodes in neutral and mildly acid aqueous solutions at first.And then,a scientific understanding of the fundamental design principles and strategies to suppress these problems are emphasized.Apart from these,this article also puts forward some requirements for the practical applications of Zn anodes as well as several cost-effectivemodifying strategies.Finally,perspectives on the future development of Zn anodes in aqueous solutions are also briefly anticipated.This article provides pertinent insights into the challenges on anodes for the development of highperformance ZIBs,which will greatly contribute to their practical applications.Chunlin Xie Yihu Li Qi Wang Dan Sun Yougen Tang Haiyan Wang 2020Carbon Energy2020,2,4:15
10Combining CLUE-S and SWAT Models to Forecast Land Use Change and Non-point Source Pollution Impact at a Watershed Scale in Liaoning Province, China显示文摘Non-point source(NPS) pollution has become a major source of water pollution. A combination of models would provide the necessary direction and approaches designed to control NPS pollution through land use planning. In this study, NPS pollution load was simulated in urban planning, historic trends and ecological protection land use scenarios based on the Conversion of Land Use and its Effect at Small regional extent(CLUE-S) and Soil and Water Assessment Tool(SWAT) models applied to Hunhe-Taizi River Watershed, Liaoning Province, China. Total nitrogen(TN) and total phosphorus(TP) were chosen as NPS pollution indices. The results of models validation showed that CLUE-S and SWAT models were suitable in the study area. NPS pollution mainly came from dry farmland, paddy, rural and urban areas. The spatial distribution of TN and TP exhibited the same trend in 57 sub-catchments. The TN and TP had the highest NPS pollution load in the western and central plains, which concentrated the urban area and farm land. The NPS pollution load would increase in the urban planning and historic trends scenarios, and would be even higher in the urban planning scenario. However, the NPS pollution load decreased in the ecological protection scenario. The differences observed in the three scenarios indicated that land use had a degree of impact on NPS pollution, which showed that scientific and ecologically sound construction could effectively reduce the NPS pollution load in a watershed. 11Simulation and study on mitigation measures of frequent subsynchronous oscillation with low amplitude at multi-power plants显示文摘Subsynchronous oscillation (SSO) with low amplitude that exceeds cumulative fatigue threshold of the generator shaft frequently could significantly reduce the shaft's service life, which is a new SSO problem that emerges in recent years. According to the real recording oscillograph, the basic reason for frequently over-threshold SSO with low amplitude at multi-power plants was analyzed based on Hulunbuir League system. The sensitivities of the electrical damping to the main electrical parameters in the contributing loop of subsynchronous torsional interaction were calculated. Based on the sensitivities, a simulation method was presented, which was used to excite the same oscillation as the actual case by exerting disturbance on the firing angle. The limitation of wide-band and narrow-band supplementary subsynchronous damping controller (SSDC) for mitigating this kind of SSO was analyzed based on the electromagnetic transient simulation model of Hulunbuir League system. The difference of supplementary excitation damping controller (SEDC) and parallel-form FACTS connected to the generator terminal was compared from the aspects of response time and the ability of damping torque supplying. The analysis indicates that their response time is similar but FACTS has stronger ability of damping torque supplying than SEDC. Time-domain simulation method was used to compare the mitigation effects of SEDC, static var compensator (SVC) and static synchronous compensator (STATCOM). Considering the mitigation effect, the floor space limit of the power plant and so on, STATCOM was considered as the best mitigation measure. A control strategy of cascaded STATCOM for engineering application was presented and the capacity for SSO mitigation as well as output characteristics was analyzed. 12Simultaneous Screening of 733 Pesticide Residues in Fruits and Vegetables by a GC/LC-Q-TOFMS Combination Technique显示文摘In this paper,we report the construction of two accurate mass databases and the development of a combination detection method that simultaneously screens for 733 pesticide and chemical contaminant multi-residues via high-throughput liquid chromatography(LC)-and gas chromatography(GC)-quadru pole-time-of-flight mass spectrometry(Q-TOFMS).This work demonstrates that electronic mass spectral standards may replace chemical-source standard materials as references through one sample preparation and the combination of GC/LC-Q-TOFMS screening.This cutting-edge technique has also replaced multiresidue determination using targeted detection with non-targeted screening.The pesticide residue types,sensitivity,recovery,and reproducibility of this combination technique are evaluated in eight fruit and vegetable matrices.This technique shows three advantages:①In comparison with the discovery capability of a single technique,the combination technique shows an improvement of 51.1%(GC-QTOFMS)and 39.6%(LC-Q-TOFMS),respectively;②the combination technique can satisfy a screening limit lower than 10μg·kg^-1 and meet the requirements of“uniform standards,”although some of the pesticide residues could be optimized to further improve screening sensitivity;③over 488 pesticides with recoveries between 60%-120%and relative standard deviation(RSD)<20%at a spiked level of 10μg·kg^-1 were detected with the combination technique in eight different matrices.From 2012 to 2017,this combination technique was applied in an investigation to screen pesticide residues from 1384 sampling locations for 38138 batched samples covering 18 categories and 134 types of fruits and vegetables obtained from across the mainland of China.After statistical analysis,533 pesticides in 115891 determinations were detected,and the regularity of pesticides in the fruits and vegetables sold on the Chinese market was shown.Guofang Pang Qiaoying Chang Ruobin Bai Chunlin Fan Zijuan Zhang Hongyuan Yan Xingqiang Wu 2020Engineering2020,6,4:11
13Neural Networks Combined with Importance Sampling Techniques for Reliability Evaluation of Explosive Initiating Device显示文摘Concerning the issue of high-dimensions and low-failure probabilities including implicit and highly nonlinear limit state function, reliability analysis based on the directional importance sampling in combination with the radial basis function (RBF) neural network is used, and the RBF neural network based on first-order reliability method (FORM) is to approximate the unknown implicit limit state functions and calculate the most probable point (MPP) with iterative algorithm. For good efficiency, based on the ideas that directional sampling reduces dimensionality and importance sampling focuses on the domain contributing to failure probability, the joint probability density function of importance sampling is constructed, and the sampling center is moved to MPP to ensure that more random sample points draw belong to the failure domain and the simulation efficiency is improved. 14Enhanced efficiency of cadmium removal by Boehmeria nivea(L.) Gaud. in the presence of exogenous citric and oxalic acids显示文摘Boehmeria nivea(L.)Gaud.is a potential candidate for the remediation of Cd contaminated sites.The present investigation aims to explore Cd tolerance threshold and to quickly identify the role of exogenous organic acids in Cd uptake and abiotic metal stress damage.Elevated Cd levels(0–10 mg/L)resulted in an obvious rise in Cd accumulation,ranging from268.0 to 374.4 in root and 25.2 to 41.2 mg/kg dry weight in shoot,respectively.Citric acid at1.5 mmol/L significantly facilitated Cd uptake by 26.7%in root and by 1-fold in shoot,respectively.Cd translocation efficiency from root to shoot was improved by a maximum of66.4%under 3 mmol/L of oxalic acid.Citric acid exhibited more prominent mitigating effect than oxalic acid due to its stronger ligand affinity for chelating with metal and avoiding the toxicity injury of free Cd ions more efficiently.The present work provides a potential strategy for efficient Cd remediation with B.nivea.Huaying Li Yunguo Liu Guangming Zeng Lu Zhou Xin Wang Yaqin Wang Chunlin Wang Xinjiang Hu Weihua Xu 2014Journal of Environmental Sciences2014,26,12:10
15Linkage between permafrost distribution and river runoff changes across the Arctic and the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘River runoff in the Arctic and the Tibetan Plateau(TP) change significantly in recent decades. However, the mechanisms of the physical processes of permafrost river runoff change remain uncertain across large scale. This study investigated the mainstreams and tributaries of main Arctic and TP rivers dominated by permafrost and assessed the linkage between hydrological regime change and permafrost. The results show that the effects of permafrost on river runoff are highly dependent on the permafrost coverage of a watershed. For the past decades, the majority of the Arctic and TP basins showed increased discharge, while all of the studied basins showed increased baseflow, with faster increasing speed than total discharge.Both total discharge and baseflow annual change rate(ΔQ and ΔBF) increased with permafrost coverage, indicating the increments of streamflow are enhanced with high permafrost coverage. Meanwhile, the annual change of precipitation showed weak connection with total discharge and baseflow change. The high permafrost coverage basins showed high annual maximum/minimum discharge ratio(Qmax/Qmin), while the Qmax/Qminchanged slightly in low permafrost cover basins. Our results highlight the importance of permafrost coverage on streamflow regime change for permafrost basins across the northern hemisphere. 18Labeling of cynomolgus monkey bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells for cell tracking by multimodality imaging显示文摘Recently,transplantation of allogeneic and autologous cells has been used for regenerative medicine.A critical issue is monitoring migration and homing of transplanted cells,as well as engraftment efficiency and functional capability in vivo.Monitoring of superparamagnetic iron oxide(SPIO) particles by magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) has been used in animal models and clinical settings to track labeled cells.A major limitation of MRI is that the signals do not show biological characteristics of transplanted cells in vivo.Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) have been extensively investigated for their various therapeutic properties,and exhibit the potential to differentiate into cells of diverse lineages.In this study,cynomolgus monkey MSCs(cMSCs) were labeled with Molday ION Rhodamine-BTM(MIRB),a new SPIO agent,to investigate and characterize the biophysical and MRI properties of labeled cMSCs in vitro and in vivo.The results indicate that MIRB is biocompatible and useful for cMSCs labeling and cell tracking by multimodality imaging.Our method is helpful for detection of transplanted stem cells in vivo,which is required for understanding mechanisms of cell therapy.REN ZhenHua WANG JiaYin ZOU ChunLin GUAN YunQian ZHANG Yu Alex 2011Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,11:9
19Multifunctional barium titanate ceramics via chemical modification tuning phase structure显示文摘Global environmental concerns on the toxicity of lead-based piezoelectrics impel the great mass fervor on investigations of lead-free alternatives.Barium titanate(BaTiO3,BT)ceramics,the first discovered perovskite ferroelectrics,were widely employed to fabricate dielectric capacitors from 1950s.Since a piezoelectric breakthrough was achieved via chemical modification,intensive researches have been performed embracing lead-free BT-based piezoelectrics and their extensional functionalities.In this review,we encompass the stateof-the-art progress on chemical modification tuning phase structure toward advanced electrical properties in BT-based ceramics.Generally,modulated regularity of cations substitution on phase transition is summarized and clarified.Then,we highlight the common methodologies of phase structure(phase boundary,relaxor phase,room-temperature phase transition,etc.)design for optimizing piezoelectricity,electrostrictive strain,electrocaloric,dielectric energy storage or permittivity performances,and cover the noticeable developments and relevant physical mechanisms.Finally,perspectives and challenges on future research issues are featured.This review proposes to exert the significant guidance and service for material design of BT-based and other lead-free perovskite materials with superior functionalities.Chunlin Zhao Yanli Huang Jiagang Wu 2020InfoMat2020,2,6:9
