| 1 | Hydrothermal ore deposits in collisional orogens显示文摘Hydrothermal ore deposits at convergent plate boundaries represent extraordinary metal enrichment in the continental crust. They are generally associated with felsic magmatism in extensional settings at high thermal gradients. Although their formation is common during accretionary orogeny, more and more ore deposits have been discovered recently in the collisional orogens of China. Because collisional orogeny was operated in a compressional regime at low thermal gradients, it is not favorable for mobilization of ore-forming elements and thus for the production of hydrothermal ore deposits. Nevertheless, continental collision is generally preceded by oceanic subduction, which enables the preliminary enrichment of ore-forming elements in the mantle wedge due to chemical metasomatism by subducting slab-derived fluids. This gave rise to metal pre-enriched domains in the overriding lithosphere, which may be reactivated by extensional tectonism for hydrothermal mineralization either immediately during accretionary orogeny or at a later time during and after collisional orogeny. It is these tectonic processes that have resulted in the progressive enrichment of ore-forming elements through the geochemical differentiation of the subducting oceanic crust, the metasomatic mantle domains and the mafic juvenile crust, respectively, at different depths. | 2 | Ultrasensitive skin‐like wearable optical sensors based on glass micro/nanofibers显示文摘Electronic skin,a class of wearable electronic sensors that mimic the functionalities of human skin,has made remarkable success in applications including health monitoring,human-machine interaction and electronic-biological interfaces.While electronic skin continues to achieve higher sensitivity and faster response,its ultimate performance is fundamentally limited by the nature of low-frequency AC currents.Herein,highly sensitive skin-like wearable optical sensors are demonstrated by embedding glass micro/nanofibers(MNFs)in thin layers of polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS).Enabled by the transition from guided modes into radiation modes of the waveguiding MNFs upon external stimuli,the skin-like optical sensors show ultrahigh sensitivity(1870 k·Pa^-1),low detection limit(7 mPa)and fast response(10μs)for pressure sensing,significantly exceeding the performance metrics of state-of-the-art electronic skins.Electromagnetic interference(EMI)-free detection of high-frequency vibrations,wrist pulse and human voice are realized.Moreover,a five-sensor optical data glove and a 2×2-MNF tactile sensor are demonstrated.These initial results pave the way toward a new category of optical devices ranging from ultrasensitive wearable sensors to optical skins. | Lei Zhang Jing Pan Zhang Zhang Hao Wu Ni Yao Dawei Cai Yingxin Xu Jin Zhang Guofei Sun Liqiang Wang Weidong Geng Wenguang Jin Wei Fang Dawei Di Limin Tong | 2020 | Opto-Electronic Advances2020,3,3: | 12 |
| 3 | Zircon U-Pb ages of granites at Changba and Huangzhuguan in western Qinling and implications for source nature显示文摘Mesozoic granitoids are widespread in the Qinling-Dabie-Sulu orogenic belt. Precise U-Pb dating on these granitoids can reveal the evolution of the continental collision orogen and thus provide information on the nature of magma sources. This study pre-sents zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating and whole-rock geochemical analyses for two intrusions at Changba and Huangzhuguan in western Qinling. Zircon U-Pb ages for central and marginal phases of the Huangzhuguang intrusion are 214±1 Ma and 213±3 Ma, respectively. Zircons from the Changba intrusion yield a dominant cluster with an U-Pb age of 213±2 Ma. Collectively, these ages are younger than ages of 220 to 240 Ma for ultrahigh-pressure metamorphism due to the continental collision between the South China Block and the North China Block, corresponding to syn-exhumation magmatism. Some inherited zircons occur in the Changba intrusion, yielding a weighted mean of 206Pb/238U ages at 757±14 Ma. This indicates that the Changba intrusion has the crustal source of mid-Neoproterozoic ages and a tectonic affinity to the South China Block. Geochemically, the two intrusuons are both rich in LILE and LREE but depleted in HFSE and HREE, similar to arc-type igneous rocks. The Huangzhuguang intrusion exhibits linear correlations between SiO2 and the other major oxides, implying chemical evolution from a cognate magma source. It contains mafic enclaves, suggesting possible mixing of felsic-mafic magmas. The Changba granite is rich in Si and K but poor in Fe and Mg as well as has a high value of Fe, suggesting strong differentiation of granitic magma. Therefore, the two intrusions were derived from the Late Triassic anatexis of the continental crust of different compositions in the northern margin of South China Block. | 4 | Radiofrequency ablation combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization therapy versus surgical resection for Barcelona-Clinic Liver Cancer(BCLC) A hepatocellular carcinoma: a meta-analysis显示文摘Purpose: The objective of our study was to compare the effectiveness of the combination of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE) and radiofrequency ablation(RFA) with that of surgical resection(SR) in Barcelona-Clinic Liver Cancer(BCLC) A hepatocellular carcinoma. Materials and Methods: PubMed, Medline, Embase, and Cochrane Library were searched for comparisons of the two therapies from January 2006 to December 2017. Overall survival rate(OS), recurrence-free survival rate(RFS), complications, and the average length of hospital stay were compared and analyzed. Review Manager v. 5.2 from the Cochrane Collaboration was used for statistical analyses. Results: Seven case-control studies and one randomized controlled trial were identified, of which 717 were treated with a combination of TACE and RFA and 785 were treated with SR. Meta-analysis data revealed that TACE plus RFA had significantly better effectiveness on 1.0-y OS(OR = 0.50, p =.009). The major complications(ORcomplications = 1.88, p =.02) after the combined therapy were significantly lower than those after SR. There were three studies that reported the average length of hospital stay. The hospital stay for the SR group vs the combined therapy group was 19.8 ± 8.4 d vs 7.4 ± 2.2 d, respectively(p <.0001); 18.7 ± 4.9 d vs 11.5 ± 6.9 d, respectively(p <.0001); and 16.6 ± 6.7 d vs 8.5 ± 4.1 d, respectively(p <.0001). There was no significant difference in 3.0-or 5.0-y OS and 1.0-, 3.0-, or 5.0-y RFS. | 5 | Super enhancer inhibitors suppress MYC driven transcriptional amplification and tumor progression in osteosarcoma显示文摘Osteosarcoma is the most common primary bone sarcoma that mostly occurs in young adults. The causes of osteosarcoma are heterogeneous and still not fully understood. Identification of novel, important oncogenic factors in osteosarcoma and development of better, effective therapeutic approaches are in urgent need for better treatment of osteosarcoma patients. In this study, we uncovered that the oncogene MYC is significantly upregulated in metastastic osteosarcoma samples. In addition, high MYC expression is associated with poor survival of osteosarcoma patients. Analysis of MYC targets in osteosarcoma revealed that most of the osteosarcoma super enhancer genes are bound by MYC. Treatment of osteosarcoma cells with super enhancer inhibitors THZ1 and JQ1 effectively suppresses the proliferation, migration, and invasion of osteosarcoma cells. Mechanistically,THZ1 treatment suppresses a large group of super enhancer containing MYC target genes including CDK6 and TGFB2. | 6 | Biomechanical analysis of the computer-assisted internal fixation of a femoral neck fracture显示文摘The number and spatial configuration of the screws will affect the stability and prognosis of the fractures.In our study,we assessed the biomechanical effects of the double-head cannulated compression screw(DhCCS)and ordinary cannulated compression screw(OCCS)for the treatment of femoral neck fractures by using computer finite element analysis.The original digital imaging and communications in medicine(DICOM)data of a proximal femur were imported into Materialise’s interactive medical image control system(MIMICS)software for modeling.Both DhCCS and OCCS 3D-models were obtained by using the 3D scan technique.Using the fracture model and internal fixation assembly model with an inverted triangle,two horizontal and vertical distribution were established in UG software.Next,the displacement and stress distribution were calculated in ANSYS software.The displacement value of the femoral head in the DhCCS group was smaller than that in the OCCS group,and the displacement value in the two horizontal groups was smaller than that in the vertical group.The stress distribution in the DhCCS group was concentrated on the screw rod at the fracture block and thread end,while only at the fracture block in the OCCS group.The stress in the horizontal group was more dispersed on the screws than that in the vertical group.DhCCS has reliable stability for the fixation of femoral neck fractures and applied in the clinical work and 2 horizontal fixation can be used when two screws are selected. | Hui Lu Hongquan Shen Shuqing Zhou Weidong Ni Dianming Jiang | 2020 | Genes & Diseases2020,7,3: | 3 |
| 7 | Preoperative ultrasound combined with routine blood tests in predicting the malignant risk of pancreatic cystic neoplasms显示文摘Objective:Accurate preoperative identification of benign or malignant pancreatic cystic neoplasms(PCN)may help clinicians make better intervention choices and will be essential for individualized treatment.Methods:Preoperative ultrasound and laboratory examination findings,and demographic characteristics were collected from patients.Multiple logistic regression was used to identify independent risk factors associated with malignant PCN,which were then included in the nomogram and validated with an external cohort.The Net Reclassification Index(NRI)and Integrated Discrimination Improvement(IDI)were calculated to evaluate the improvement in the predictive power of the new model with respect to that of a combined imaging and tumor marker prediction model.Results:Malignant PCN were found in 83(40.7%)and 33(38.7%)of the model and validation cohorts,respectively.Multivariate analysis identified age,tumor location,imaging of tumor boundary,blood type,mean hemoglobin concentration,neutrophil-tolymphocyte ratio,carbohydrate antigen 19-9,and carcinoembryonic antigen as independent risk factors for malignant PCN.The calibration curve indicated that the predictions based on the nomogram were in excellent agreement with the actual observations.A nomogram score cutoff of 192.5 classified patients as having low vs.high risk of malignant PCN.The model achieved good C-statistics of 0.929(95%CI 0.890–0.968,P<0.05)and 0.951(95%CI 0.903–0.998,P<0.05)in predicting malignancy in the development and validation cohorts,respectively.NRI=0.268;IDI=0.271(P<0.001 for improvement).The DCA curve indicated that our model yielded greater clinical benefits than the comparator model.Conclusions:The nomogram showed excellent performance in predicting malignant PCN and may help surgeons select patients for detailed examination and surgery.The nomogram is freely available at http://gffzz301f03ad8b874f7esxp665qwvoqo96u90.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/DynNomapp/. | Xiuchao Wang Junjin Wang Xi Wei Lihui Zhao Bo Ni Zekun Li Chuntao Gao Song Gao Tiansuo Zhao Jian Wang Weidong Ma Xiao Hu Jihui Hao | 2022 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,10: | 1 |

| 12 | Ground-Based Atmospheric CO_(2),CH_(4),and CO Column Measurements at Golmud in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and Comparisons with TROPOMI/S5P Satellite Observations显示文摘Measurements of carbon dioxide(CO_(2)),methane(CH_(4)),and carbon monoxide(CO)are of great importance in the Qinghai-Tibetan region,as it is the highest and largest plateau in the world affecting global weather and climate systems.In this study,for the first time,we present CO_(2),CH_(4),and CO column measurements carried out by a Bruker EM27/SUN Fourier-transform infrared spectrometer(FTIR)at Golmud(36.42°E,94.91°N,2808 m)in August 2021.The mean and standard deviation of the column-average dry-air mixing ratio of CO_(2),CH_(4),and CO(XCO_(2),XCH_(4),and XCO)are 409.3±0.4 ppm,1905.5±19.4 ppb,and 103.1±7.7 ppb,respectively.The differences between the FTIR co-located TROPOMI/S5P satellite measurements at Golmud are 0.68±0.64%(13.1±12.2 ppb)for XCH_(4) and 9.81±3.48%(–10.7±3.8 ppb)for XCO,which are within their retrieval uncertainties.High correlations for both XCH_(4) and XCO are observed between the FTIR and S5P satellite measurements.Using the FLEXPART model and satellite measurements,we find that enhanced CH_(4) and CO columns in Golmud are affected by anthropogenic emissions transported from North India.This study provides an insight into the variations of the CO_(2),CH_(4),and CO columns in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. | Minqiang ZHOU Qichen NI Zhaonan CAI Bavo LANGEROCK Jingyi JIANG Ke CHE Jiaxin WANG Weidong NAN Yi LIU Pucai WANG | 2023 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2023,40,2: | 1 |
| 13 | Accurate Assessment and Tracking the Process of Liver-Specific Injury by the Residual Tissue Activity of Carboxylesterase 1 and Dipeptidyl Peptidase 4显示文摘Accurately assessing and tracking the progression of liver-specific injury remains a major challenge in the field of biomarker research.Here,we took a retrospective validation approach built on the mutuality between serum and tissue biomarkers to characterize the liver-specific damage of bile duct cells caused by a-naphthyl isothiocyanate(ANIT).We found that carboxylesterase 1(CES1),as an intrahepatic marker,and dipeptidyl peptidase 4(DPP-IV),as an extrahepatic marker,can reflect the different pathophysiologies of liver injury.Levels of CES1 and DPP-IV can be used to identify liver damage itself and the inflammatory state,respectively.While the levels of the conventional serological biomarkers alkaline phosphatase(ALP),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)were all concomitantly elevated in serum and tissues after ANIT-induced injury,the levels of bile acids decreased in bile,increased in serum,and ascended in intrahepatic tissue.Although the level of γ-glutamyl transpeptidase(γ-GT)changed in an opposite direction,the duration was much shorter than that of CES1 and was quickly restored to normal levels.Therefore,among the abovementioned biomarkers,only CES1 made it possible to specifically determine whether the liver cells were destroyed or damaged without interference from inflammation.CES1 also enabled accurate assessment of the anti-cholestasis effects of ursodeoxycholic acid(UDCA;single component)and Qing Fei Pai Du Decoction(QFPDD;multicomponent).We found that both QFPDD and UDCA attenuated ANIT-induced liver damage.UDCA was more potent in promoting bile excretion but showed relatively weaker anti-injury and antiinflammatory effects than QFPDD,whereas QFPDD was more effective in blocking liver inflammation and repairing liver damage.Our data highlights the potential of the combined use of CES1(as an intrahepatic marker of liver damage)and DPP-IV(as an extrahepatic marker of inflammation)for the accurate evaluation and tracking of liver-specific injury—an application that allows for the differentiation of liver damage and inflammatory liver injury. | Qiusha Pan Peifang Song Zhenhua Ni Xingkai Qian Anqi Wang Liwei Zou Yong Liu Ping Wang Weidong Zhang Hong Ma Ling Yang | 2022 | Engineering2022,,12: | 0 |
| 14 | Characteristics of 240 randomized controlled trials for adjusting constitution in preventive treatment of disease:A bibliometric analysis显示文摘Background:A growing number of randomized controlled trials(RCTs)have explored the significance of adjusting constitution for preventive treatment of disease in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).In this study,we sought to comprehensively analyze the characteristics of these RCTs.Methods:All RCTs related to constitutional adjustment and preventive treatment of disease were included in the study.Literature was screened searching seven databases,including Pubmed,Web of Science,Embase,SinoMed,CNKI,Chongqing VIP,and Wangfang Database,from inception to December 2018.Data pertaining to bibliometrics,participants,and interventions were extracted and analyzed.Results:Two hundred and forty papers were published between 2007 and 2018,involving 240 RCTs with 55977 total participants.Sample size in these RCTs ranged from 30 to 7800.Among them,59 RCTs addressed disease prevention prior to onset involving 11 healthy states of participants,mainly for general health or sub-health population(40.68%)using health care and non-drug therapy.In control the development of existing disease(n Z 174),59 diseases were involved.Based on the number of RCTs and sample sizes,diseases including type 2 diabetes mellitus,primary hypertension,nonalcoholic fatty liver disease,and hyperlipoproteinemia accounted for 51.15%of the total patients studied.Drug therapy as an intervention was frequently used.In preventing recurrence after recovery(n Z 7),over 4 kinds of health status in participants were involved.Drug therapy combined with health care was mostly used.Most RCTs reported positive outcomes,with only one reporting negative findings(1/240).Conclusion:The number of RCTs of constitutional adjustment on preventive treatment of disease has gradually increased since 2012.Participants and intervention measures from the above-mentioned types of RCTs exhibit their own characteristics.Future systematic reviews or meta-analyses on constitutional adjustment for preventive treatment of disease are warranted. | Wenjun Yu Shenglou Ni Qianru Li Mingyue Ma Ya’nan Peng Weidong Yu Hua Jin Pengting Zhang Qi Wang | 2019 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2019,6,3: | 0 |

| 16 | Biomechanical characterization of a novel ring connector for sutureless aortic anastomosis显示文摘The surgical treatment for aortic diseases remains a challenge for any cardiac surgeon. The use of sutureless ring connector in aortic anastomosis can simplify the procedure and shorten anastomosis time. Therefore, we developed a novel device for sutureless aortic anastomosis. A series of experiments were carried out for tensile and leakproofcapacity assessments to verify the feasibility of the ring connector by using fresh swine aorta samples. In in vivo test,the ring connector was implanted in 6 swine with follow-up of 6 months. Radiographic and pathological studies of the aorta were performed. In the tensile tests, the strength was 32.7±5.9 Newton(N) in the sutureless anastomosis group,compared with 73.3±12.5 N in the control group by traditional manual suture. In the leakproof-capacity assessment,no sign of either leakage or bursting was evident at 280 mmHg of internal pressure in the aorta samples. In in vivo tests,it took 9.47±0.3 minutes for the sutureless anastomosis, compared with 15.58± 1.39 minutes for hand-sewn suturing. Insertion was easy and rapid. Radiographic and pathological studies were performed at first month, third month and sixth month after surgery, each time obtained from the two swine, showed patency of the anastomosis and no signs of stenosis, blood leakage, migration or pseudoaneurysm formation, except one paralyzed swine developed of thrombo-occlusion at the site of the sutureless anastomosis. | 17 | Increased expression of coronin-1a in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis: a potential diagnostic biomarker and therapeutic target显示文摘Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)is the most common motor neuron disease.At present,no definite ALS biomarkers are available.In this study,exosomes from the plasma of patients with ALS and healthy controls were extracted,and differentially expressed exosomal proteins were compared.Among them,the expression of exosomal coronin-1a(CORO1A)was 5.3-fold higher than that in the controls.CORO1A increased with disease progression at a certain proportion in the plasma of patients with ALS and in the spinal cord of ALS mice.CORO1A was also overexpressed in NSC-34 motor neuron-like cells,and apoptosis,oxidative stress,and autophagic protein expression were evaluated.CORO1A overexpression resulted in increased apoptosis and oxidative stress,overactivated autophagy,and hindered the formation of autolysosomes.Moreover,CORO1A activated Ca^(2+)-dependent phosphatase calcineurin,thereby blocking the fusion of autophagosomes and lysosomes.The inhibition of calcineurin activation by cyclosporin A reversed the damaged autolysosomes.In conclusion,the role of CORO1A in ALS pathogenesis was discovered,potentially affecting the disease onset and progression by blocking autophagic flux.Therefore,CORO1A might be a potential biomarker and therapeutic target for ALS. | Qinming Zhou Lu He Jin Hu Yining Gao Dingding Shen You Ni Yuening Qin Huafeng Liang Jun Liu Weidong Le Sheng Chen | 2022 | Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,5: | 0 |
