1Chinese Stroke Center Alliance:a national effort to improve healthcare quality for acute stroke and transient ischaemic attack:rationale,design and preliminary findings显示文摘Background In June 2015,the Chinese Stroke Association(CSA)initiated the Chinese Stroke Center Alliance(CSCA)to establish the national hospital-based stroke care quality assessment and improvement platform.This article outlines its objectives,operational structure,patient population,quality improvement(QI)intervention tools,data elements,data collection methodology and current patient and hospital data.Methods The CSCA is a national,hospital-based,multicentre,voluntary,multifaceted intervention and continuous QI initiative.This multifaceted intervention includes stroke centre development,written care protocols,workshops and a monitoring/feedback system of evidencebased performance measures.The data coordinating centre of the CSCA resides at the China National Clinical Research Center for Neurological Diseases,Beijing Tiantan Hospital.results As of July 2017,1576 hospitals in China have contributed detailed clinical information to serve as a benchmark for the stroke care quality of 433264 patients with acute stroke/transient ischaemic attacks(TIA),including 352572(81.38%)acute ischaemic stroke,30362(7.01%)TIA,42080(9.71%)spontaneous intracranial haemorrhage,5505(1.27%)subarachnoid haemorrhage and 2745(0.63%)not specified stroke.Conclusion The CSCA programme is designed to establish a continuous national stroke registry and help healthcare providers develop stroke centres and treat patients in a consistent manner in accordance with accepted national guidelines and,ultimately,improve patient outcomes.It supports the CSA mission to reduce stroke burden in China.Yongjun Wang Zixiao Li Yilong Wang Xingquan Zhao Liping Liu Xin Yang Caiyun Wang Hongqiu Gu Fuying Zhang Chunjuan Wang Ying Xian David Z Wang Qiang Dong Anding Xu Jizong Zhao Chinese Stroke Center Alliance investigators 2018Stroke & Vascular Neurology2018,3,4:38

3Genome-wide analysis and expression profiling of the phospholipase D gene family in Gossypium arboreum显示文摘The plant phospholipase D(PLD)plays versatile functions in multiple aspects of plant growth,development,and stress responses.However,until now,our knowledge concerning the PLD gene family members and their expression patterns in cotton has been limited.In this study,we performed for the first time the genome-wide analysis and expression profiling of PLD gene family in Gossypium arboretum,and finally,a total of 19 non-redundant PLD genes(GaPLDs)were identified.Based on the phylogenetic analysis,they were divided into six well-supported clades(α,β/γ,δ,ε,ζ and φ).Most of the GaPLD genes within the same clade showed the similar exon-intron organization and highly conserved motif structures.Additionally,the chromosomal distribution pattern revealed that GaPLD genes were unevenly distributed across 10 of the 13 cotton chromosomes.Segmental duplication is the major contributor to the expansion of Ga PLD gene family and estimated to have occurred from19.61 to 20.44 million years ago when a recent large-scale genome duplication occurred in cotton.Moreover,the expression profiling provides the functional divergence of GaPLD genes in cotton and provides some new light on the molecular mechanisms of GaPLDα1 and GaPLDδ2 in fiber development.Kai TANG Chunjuan DONG Jinyuan LIU 2016Science China(Life Sciences)2016,59,2:9

7Turbidite and bottom-current evolution revealed by anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility of redox sediments in the Ulleung Basin,Sea of Japan显示文摘Anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility(AMS) from above and below 7.31 m in a core from the southern Ulleung Basin shows clear differences on an equal area projection of the lower hemisphere.Rather concentrated steep inclination of K 3 and horizontal inclination of K 1 and K 2(K1 ≥K2 ≥K3) are located within the upper part,and the latter two axes lie perpendicular to each other near the bedding plane.In contrast,random distribution of the three axes and extremely high value of shape parameters(Q=(K1-K2)/[(K1+K2)/2-K3]) are evident in the lower part,indicating complete destruction of the original sedimentary structure.This result is consistent with data from X-radiographs,which show numerous conglomerates,distortions and cleavages in the lower part.According to age models by Liu et al.(2010) and Zou et al.(2010),the bottom age at 7.31 m is 48 cal ka BP,and the time domain is discussed below.The degree of AMS(P) is low,1-1.08,and linearly related to the foliation(F)(R2 =0.95,N=176).The relationship between F and linearity(L) implies oblate aligning patterns that are typically sedimentary in origin.At least five redox couplets were found with the aid of S ratios and other rock magnetic parameters,and in most cases,the original signals of climate survived early diagenesis.The paleomagnetically reoriented AMS show corresponding changes with millennial events in the last 48 cal ka.Clearly tilted K 3 directions and reduction of P and F occurred within DO1-BA warm events,when melt water pulse 1A nd the YD cold event took place.The turbulent conditions therein,synchronous with coarsening of sediments,provide evidence of strong bottom currents and possible directional changes,as evidenced by different K3 tilting directions.A NE current direction in the last 4.5 cal ka is consistent with in situ measurements of bottom currents.Responses of AMS,mainly to climatic modulation,show on the one hand,the limited influence of diagenesis on rock magnetic signals and,on the other hand,the dramatic change of hydrodynamic conditions and terrigenous inputs during rapid sea level rise during the last deglaciation.GE ShuLan SHI XueFa LIU YanGuang WANG KunShan ZOU JianJun DIAO JingYu ZHU ZhiWei WANG ChunJuan 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,6:7
8Predictors of dysphagia screening and pneumonia among patients with acute ischaemic stroke in China:findings from the Chinese Stroke Center Alliance(CSCA)显示文摘Background and purpose Guidelines recommend dysphagia screening to identify those at high risk of pneumonia.However,little is known about the prevalence and predictors of dysphagia screening and pneumonia among patients with acute ischaemic stroke in China.Methods Using data from the Chinese Stroke Center Alliance,which is a multicentre,prospective,consecutive patient enrolment programme,univariate and multivariate analyses were conducted to identify patient and hospital characteristics associated with dysphagia screening and pneumonia during acute hospitalisation.Results Of 790811 patients admitted to 1476 hospitals,622718(78.7%)underwent dysphagia screening,and 64398(8.1%)developed pneumonia.Patients in stroke units were more likely to be screened for dysphagia than those not in stroke units(OR 1.50;95%CI 1.48 to 1.52),while patients with a past history of stroke were less likely to be screened(OR 0.87;95%CI 0.86 to 0.88).Dysphagia screening(OR 1.46;95%CI 1.30 to 1.65),dysphagia(OR 7.31;95%CI 7.15 to 7.46),and admission to stroke units(OR 1.17;95%CI 1.14 to 1.19)were significantly associated with a greater risk of pneumonia.Conclusions Dysphagia was a critical factor in the development of pneumonia.Nearly one in five patients with acute ischaemic stroke in the Chinese Stroke Center Alliance were not screened for dysphagia.Pneumonia prevention during acute hospitalisation is dependent not only on dysphagia screening but also on the effectiveness of subsequent dysphagia management interventions.Further studies are needed to elucidate the relationship between dysphagia screening,stroke unit care and pneumonia in patients with acute ischaemic stroke.Jianshu Liang Zhike Yin Zixiao Li Hongqiu Gu Kaixuan Yang Yunyun Xiong Yongjun Wang Chunjuan Wang 2022Stroke & Vascular Neurology2022,7,4:5
9Genome-wide Identification and Expression of ARF Gene Family during Adventitious Root Development in Hot Pepper(Capsicum annuum)显示文摘Auxin response factors(ARFs) are transcription factors that activate or repress the expression of primary/early auxin response genes by binding to auxin-responsive elements(Aux REs) in their promoter regions. The ARFs play important roles in diverse developmental processes.To explore the ARF gene family in hot pepper(Capsicum annuum L.), we performed a genome-wide identification and expression analysis. In this study, 19 pepper ARF genes(Ca ARFs) clustered into three phylogenetic groups(I, II, and III) were comprehensively analyzed. Conserved domain analysis showed that all Ca ARFs contained a B3 DNA-binding domain and a middle domain, but two members lacked the carboxyterminal dimerization(CTD) domain. The number of introns in Ca ARF genes ranged from 1 to 13 and the gene structure was similar among genes in the same phylogenetic group. Additionally, prediction of Ca ARFs promoter elements and putative targets for micro RNAs suggested that the regulation of Ca ARFs may occur at both transcriptional and posttranscriptional levels. Most Ca ARFs were expressed in more than one tested tissue, and most Ca ARFs were identified as being responsive to exogenous auxin. Moreover, time-course transcription profiles of Ca ARFs revealed their roles in adventitious rooting of hypocotyl cuttings from pepper seedlings. 10Effects of sodium tartrate anodizing on fatigue life of TA15 titanium alloy显示文摘Anodizing is always used as an effective surface modification method to improve the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of titanium alloy.The sodium tartrate anodizing is a new kind of environmental anodizing method.In this work, the effects of sodium tartrate anodizing on mechanical property were studied.The oxide film was performed on the TA15 titanium alloy using sodium tartrate as the film former.The effects of this anodizing and the traditional acid anodizing on the fatigue life of TA15 alloy were compared.The results show that the sodium tartrate anodizing just caused a slight increase of hydrogen content in the alloy, and had a slight effect on the fatigue life.While, the traditional acid anodizing caused a significant increase of hydrogen content in the substrate and reduced the fatigue life of the alloy significantly.Fu Chunjuan Tian Wenming Yang Kang Yu Mei Liu Jianhua 2015Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2015,28,4:4
11Adsorption of oil from waste water by coal:characteristics and mechanism显示文摘The work described here was focused on exploring the potential application of coal to purification of oily waste water.Coal was added to oily waste water as an adsorbent and then removed through a flotation process.This allowed economical and highly efficient separation of oil from the waste water.The absorption time,coal type,coal particle size distribution,pH value and oil concentration were investigated.The results indicate that oil absorption by a coal increases for a period of 1.5 h and then gradually tends toward an equilibrium value.It appears that the absorption capacity of anthracite is more than that of lean coal or lignite,given the same coal particle size distribution.The absorption capacity of a coarse coal fraction is less than that of finer coal,given the same of coal type.The absorption capacity of anthracite decreases slightly as the pH increases from 4 to 9.The adsorption of oil on anthracite follows the Freundlich isothermal adsorption law:given initial oil concentrations of 160.5 or 1023.6 mg/L the absorption capacity was 23.8 or 840.0 mg/g.The absorption mechanism consists of two kinds of absorption,a physical process assisted by a chemical one.LI Xiaobing,ZHANG Chunjuan,LIU Jiongtian School of Chemical Engineering and Technology,China University of Mining & Technology,Xuzhou 221116,China 2010Mining Science and Technology2010,20,5:3
12FeSe2 clusters with excellent cyclability and rate capabilityfor sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) have great promise for sustainable and economicalenergy-storage applications. Nevertheless, it is a major challenge to developanode materials with high capacity, high rate capability, and excellent cyclingstability for them. In this study, FeSe2 clusters consisting of nanorods weresynthesized by a facile hydrothermal method, and their sodium-storage propertieswere investigated with different electrolytes. The FeSe2 clusters delivered highelectrochemical performance with an ether-based electrolyte in a voltage rangeof 0.5-2.9 V. A high discharge capacity of 515 mAh.g-1 was obtained after 400 cyclesat 1 A.g-1, with a high initial columbic efficiency of 97.4%. Even at an ultrahighrate of 35 A-g-1 a specific capacity of 128 mAh.g-1 was achieved. Using calculations,we revealed that the pseudocapacitance significantly contributed to the sodium-ionstorage, especially at high current rates, leading to a high rate capability. 13Disulfiram thermosensitive in-situ gel based on solid dispersion for cataract显示文摘To improve the corneal permeability and water-solubility of disulfiram(DSF), which is an ocular drug for cataract, P188 was selected as a matrix to prepare solid dispersion of DSF(DSF SD) by hot melt method. The DSF SD was characterized by DSC, XRD, and IR, and the results suggested that DSF was amorphous in DSF SD. The DSF SD was added to borate buffer solution(BBS) contained 20% poloxamer P407 and 1.2% poloxamer P188 to form in-situ gel. In vitro and in vivo experiments revealed that DSF SD combined with in-situ gel(DSF SD/in-situ gel) increased the residence time and the amount of DSF penetrated through the corneal. The pharmacodynamics studies exhibited DSF SD/in-situ gel delayed the development of selenium-induced cataract at some content. 15Variations of mercury distribution in the water column during the course of a tidal cycle in the Yangtze Estuarine intertidal zone,China显示文摘Tidally induced resuspension processes play an important role in the release of mercury (Hg) into the water column, which increases the risk of Hg exposure to estuarine eco-systems. In order to further understand the geochemical activities of Hg in the intertidal area, the temporal variations of dissolved Hg (Hg D ) and particulate Hg (Hg P ) in the water column during the course of a tidal cycle and its geochemical processes were studied in the southern intertidal zone of the Yangtze Estuary, China. The concentrations of Hg D and Hg P varied between 37-612 ng/L and 51-638 ng/L respectively during the tidal cycle. The increase of Hg D was distinguished at the early flood tide and late ebb tide when the water flow rates were higher. The Hg D concentrations were negatively correlated with Hg P (r = 0.523, p < 0.05) and positively correlated with dissolved organic carbon (DOC) (r = 0.605, p < 0.05) in the bottom water, indicating that the Hg D released from the sediments into the overlying water was associated with the simultaneously released colloidal material in the bottom water. The main pathways for the translocation of Hg from the sediments to the overlying water include the processes of desorption from resuspended particles, advection or diffusion from sediments, and the oxidation of resuspended sulfide. 16Effect of Solidification Rate on Microstructure and Solid/Liquid Interface Morphology of Nie11.5 wt% Si Eutectic Alloy显示文摘In this study NieN i3 Si eutectic in situ composites are obtained by Bridgman directional solidification technique when the solidification rate varies from 6.0 mm/s to 40.0 mm/s. At the low solidification rates the lamellar spacing is decreased with increasing the solidification rate. When the solidification rate is higher than 25 mm/s, the lamellar spacing tends to be increased, because the higher undercooling makes the mass transport less effective. The adjustments of lamellar spacing are also observed during the directional solidification process, which is consistent with the minimum undercooling criterion. 17Correlation of diffusion tensor imaging and cognitive function in patients with leukoaraiosis显示文摘Conventional imaging technology does not measure white matter lesions of the brain or cognitive impairment.Diffusion tensor imaging is able to detect changes in the microstructure of white matter,and correlating vascular risk factors with cognitive dysfunction seems feasible using this technique.A total of 60 leukoaraiosis patients and 30 healthy elderly controls received diffusion tensor imaging examination to detect the average diffusion coefficient and fractional anisotropy of leukoaraiosis lesion and normal white matter.Leukoaraiosis severity positively correlated with average diffusion coefficient but negatively correlated with fraction anisotropy.Neuropsychology tests(mini-mental state examination) were related to average diffusion coefficient and fraction anisotropy of normal white matter in leukoaraiosis patients,especially in the anterior horn and centrum semiovale.The average diffusion coefficient and fraction anisotropy of leukoaraiosis displayed characteristic changes.Therefore,diffusion tensor imaging can detect the macrostructural changes in white matter with normal magnetic resonance imaging,and these changes are related to cognitive function.Application of diffusion tensor imaging techniques to analyze the correlation between vascular risk factors and cognitive dysfunction is feasible.Chuanqiang Qu Shougang Guo Hongzhi Guo Xiangshui Meng Chunjuan Wang Lin Ma Yan He 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,15:2

19Switching performances of static induction thyristor with buried-gate structure显示文摘The switching characteristics of SITh are not only determined by the conductance modulation in channel between the gate regions,but also affected by the external gate driving circuit.The physical mechanism and behavior of switching process are studied deeply based on the fabrication practice of SITh.The dependence of switching performances of SITh on material,geometric structure and technological parameters are analytically discussed by using two-dimensional dynamical model firstly proposed in this paper.A series of optimum matching technological approaches have been developed for improving the switching characteristics of SITh.A versatile testing circuit is designed to get more accurate switching parameters and more stable switching-off process with lower power consumptions.The switching times ton and toff are reduced from 0.2μs and 1.2μs to 0.08μs and 1.0μs,respectively,and the dynamic dv/dt value of more than 1000 V/μs at switching-off is obtained.LIU ChunJuan LIU Su BAI YaJie 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,6:2
