| 1 | Application of next-generation sequencing technology to precision medicine in cancer: joint consensus of the Tumor Biomarker Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology显示文摘Next-generation sequencing(NGS) technology is capable of sequencing millions or billions of DNA molecules simultaneously.Therefore, it represents a promising tool for the analysis of molecular targets for the initial diagnosis of disease, monitoring of disease progression, and identifying the mechanism of drug resistance. On behalf of the Tumor Biomarker Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology(CSCO) and the China Actionable Genome Consortium(CAGC), the present expert group hereby proposes advisory guidelines on clinical applications of NGS technology for the analysis of cancer driver genes for precision cancer therapy. This group comprises an assembly of laboratory cancer geneticists, clinical oncologists, bioinformaticians,pathologists, and other professionals. After multiple rounds of discussions and revisions, the expert group has reached a preliminary consensus on the need of NGS in clinical diagnosis, its regulation, and compliance standards in clinical sample collection. | 2 | Pertuzumab in combination with trastuzumab and chemotherapy for Chinese patients with HER2-positive metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer:a subpopulation analysis of the JACOB trial显示文摘Background:The JACOB trial(NCT01774786)was a double-blinded,placebo-controlled,randomized,multicenter,international,phase III trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of adding pertuzumab to trastuzumab and chemo-therapy in first-line treatment of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-positive metastatic gastric cancer/gastroesophageal junction cancer(GEJC).The aim of this analysis was to investigate efficacy and safety outcomes in the Chinese subpopulation from the JACOB trial.Methods:This post hoc subpopulation analysis included all patients recruited in China's Mainland(n=163;20.9%)between June 2013 and January 2016.The patients were randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to receive pertuzumab plus trastuzumab and chemotherapy(pertuzumab group;n=82)or placebo plus trastuzumab and chemotherapy(con-trol group;n=81).Intravenous pertuzumab(840 mg)and trastuzumab(8 mg/kg loading and 6 mg/kg maintenance doses)were given every 3 weeks until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity.Chemotherapy was given as per standard regimens/doses of capecitabine or 5-fluorouracil plus cisplatin.The primary endpoint was overall survival(OS);secondary efficacy endpoints included progression-free survival(PFS),and overall objective response rate(ORR).Results:The median OS was 18.7 months in the pertuzumab group and 16.1 months in the control group(hazard ratio[HR]0.75;95%confidence interval[CI]0.49 to 1.14).The median PFS was 10.5 and 8.6 months in the pertuzumab and control groups,respectively(HR 0.85;95%CI 0.60 to 1.21),and the median ORRs were 68.9%and 55.7%,respectively.The treatment effect in this Chinese subpopulation showed consistency with that in the global ITT population with numerically lower HR for OS and PFS compared with the control group.The safety profiles of the pertuzumab and control groups in this Chinese subpopulation analysis were generally comparable.The most common grade 3-5adverse events were neutropenia,anemia,and leukopenia.However,due to the nature of being a post hoc subgroup analysis,the results presented here are descriptive only and need to be interpreted with caution.Conclusions:OS and PFS were numerically improved by adding pertuzumab to trastuzumab and chemotherapy as first-line treatment in Chinese HER2-positive gastric cancer/GEJC patients,and this regimen demonstrated an acceptable safety profile. | Tianshu Liu Yanru Qin Jin Li Ruihua Xu Jianming Xu Shujun Yang Shukui Qin Yuxian Bai Changping Wu Yixiang Mao Haiyan Wu Yilin Ge Lin Shen | 2019 | Cancer Communications2019,39,1: | 6 |
| 3 | Mining geographic episode association patterns of abnormal events in global earth science data显示文摘Abnormal events in earth science have great influence on both the natural envi-ronment and the human society. Finding association patterns among these events has great significance. Because data in earth science has characteristics of mass,high dimension,spatial autocorrelation and time delay,existing mining technolo-gies cannot be directly used on it. We propose a RSNN (range-based searching nearest neighbors) spatial clustering algorithm to reduce the data size and auto-correlation. Based on the clustered data,we propose a GEAM (geographic episode association pattern mining) algorithm which can deal with events time lags and find interesting patterns with specific constraints,to mine the association patterns. We carried out experiments on global climate datasets and found many interesting association patterns. | 9 | Evaluation Methods of Profitable Tight Oil Reservoir of Lacustrine Coquina: A Case Study of Da'anzhai Member of Jurassic in the Sichuan Basin显示文摘Based on core observation,cast and fluorescent thin sections,FESEM and ESEM,coquina in Da'anzhai Member of Jurassic in Sichuan Basin were examined systematically.Together with production data and logging evaluation,a method for lacustrine coquina evaluation based on geological theory was established up.In the article,two aspects of the study were elaborated,characteristics of favorable reservoirs,and a'five-step'evaluation method for favorable coquina reservoir.According to the correlation between porosity and production data,porosity is not effective in finding high quality coquina reservoir of this area.Whereas micro research of reservoir samples from a high productivity well revealed that sparry coquina is the best lithofacies,with the most developed micro storage space of various kinds.After the favorable reservoir was sorted out,a five-step method evaluating the coquina reservoir was worked out.Correlation ofGR value and rock types suggests that GR<30 API is an effective evaluation parameter in identifying profitable reservoir lithofacies.Meanwhile,the combination of profitable reservoir rock thickness and production data revealed that the reservoirs with the highest potentiality are those with thickness of 3-18 m.Fractures are more developed in faults,folds and structural noses in the study area.Organic acid is discharged massively before the peak of hydrocarbon generation,leading to the formation of dissolution pores in the reservoir.The evaluation of organic acid was made by using the source rock indexes.After evaluating the four factors,and compiling their distribution maps,the maps were overlapped to predict favorable reservoir zones,and 7 first class and 9 second class favorable zones of coquina were picked out. | PANG Zhenglian TAO Shizhen ZHANG Qin ZHANG Bin ZHANG Tianshu YANG Xiaoping WU Yinye FAN Jianwei YUAN Miao | 2020 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,2: | 2 |

| 12 | Risk factors for intracranial hemorrhage and mortality in adult patients with severe respiratory failure managed using veno-venous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation显示文摘Background: Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is one of the most severe complications during veno-venous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VV-ECMO). This study aimed to determine the risk factors for ICH and mortality in such patients.Methods: We analyzed the clinical data of 77 patients who received VV-ECMO due to severe respiratory failure from July 2013 to May 2019 at China-Japan Friendship Hospital. Demographical data, laboratory indices, imaging characteristics, and other clinical information were collected. Multivariable logistic regression analyses were performed to identify risk factors for ICH and mortality.Results: Of 77 patients, 11 (14.3%) suffered from ICH, and 36 (46.8%) survived. The survival rate was significantly lower (18.2% [2/11]vs. 51.5% [34/66],P = 0.040) in patients with ICH than in those without ICH. Multivariable analysis revealed that factors independently associated with ICH were diabetes mellitus (adjusted odds ratio [aOR]: 12.848, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.129-146.188,P = 0.040) and minimum fibrinogen during ECMO (aOR: 2.557, 95% CI: 1.244-5.252,P = 0.011). Multivariable analysis showed that factors independently associated with mortality were acute hepatic failure during ECMO (aOR: 9.205, 95% CI: 1.375-61.604,P = 0.022), CO2 retention before ECMO (aOR: 7.602, 95% CI: 1.514-38.188,P = 0.014), and minimum platelet concentration during ECMO (aOR: 0.130, 95% CI: 0.029-0.577,P = 0.007).Conclusions: Diabetes mellitus and minimum fibrinogen concentration during ECMO are risk factors for ICH in patients with severe respiratory failure managed using VV-ECMO. | 15 | Stochastic Chaos with Its Control and Synchronization显示文摘The discovery of chaos in the sixties of last century was a breakthrough in concept,revealing the truth that some disorder behavior,called chaos,could happen even in a deterministic nonlinear system under barely deterministic disturbance.After a series of serious studies,people begin to acknowledge that chaos is a specific type of steady state motion other than the conventional periodic and quasi-periodic ones,featuring a sensitive dependence on initial conditions,resulting from the intrinsic randomness of a nonlinear system itself.In fact,chaos is a collective phenomenon consisting of massive individual chaotic responses,corresponding to different initial conditions in phase space.Any two adjacent individual chaotic responses repel each other,thus causing not only the sensitive dependence on initial conditions but also the existence of at least one positive top Lyapunov exponent(TLE) for chaos.Meanwhile,all the sample responses share one common invariant set on the Poincaré map,called chaotic attractor,which every sample response visits from time to time ergodically.So far,the existence of at least one positive TLE is a commonly acknowledged remarkable feature of chaos.We know that there are various forms of uncertainties in the real world.In theoretical studies,people often use stochastic models to describe these uncertainties,such as random variables or random processes.Systems with random variables as their parameters or with random processes as their excitations are often called stochastic systems.No doubt,chaotic phenomena also exist in stochastic systems,which we call stochastic chaos to distinguish it from deterministic chaos in the deterministic system.Stochastic chaos reflects not only the intrinsic randomness of the nonlinear system but also the external random effects of the random parameter or the random excitation.Hence,stochastic chaos is also a collective massive phenomenon,corresponding not only to different initial conditions but also to different samples of the random parameter or the random excitation.Thus,the unique common feature of deterministic chaos and stochastic chaos is that they all have at least one positive top Lyapunov exponent for their chaotic motion.For analysis of random phenomena,one used to look for the PDFs(Probability Density Functions) of the ensemble random responses.However,it is a pity that PDF information is not favorable to studying repellency of the neighboring chaotic responses nor to calculating the related TLE,so we would rather study stochastic chaos through its sample responses.Moreover,since any sample of stochastic chaos is a deterministic one,we need not supplement any additional definition on stochastic chaos,just mentioning that every sample of stochastic chaos should be deterministic chaos.We are mainly concerned with the following two basic kinds of nonlinear stochastic systems,i.e.one with random variables as its parameters and one with ergodical random processes as its excitations.To solve the stochastic chaos problems of these two kinds of systems,we first transform the original stochastic system into their equivalent deterministic ones.Namely,we can transform the former stochastic system into an equivalent deterministic system in the sense of mean square approximation with respect to the random parameter space by the orthogonal polynomial approximation,and transform the latter one simply through replacing its ergodical random excitations by their representative deterministic samples.Having transformed the original stochastic chaos problem into the deterministic chaos problem of equivalent systems,we can use all the available effective methods for further chaos analysis.In this paper,we aim to review the state of art of studying stochastic chaos with its control and synchronization by the above-mentioned strategy. | Zhang Ying Xu Wei Zhang Tianshu Yang Xiaoli Wu Cunli Fang Tong | 2008 | 西北工业大学学报2008,26,6: | 1 |

| 18 | Effect of Refrigerant on the Performance of a C3/MRC Liquefaction Process显示文摘The Mixed Refrigerant(MR)component is an important factor influencing the performances of natural gas lique-faction processes.However,there is a lack of systematic research about the utilization of propane pre-cooled(C3/MRC).In this paper,this mixed refrigerant cycle liquefaction process is simulated using the HYSYS software and the main influential parameters involved in the process are varied to analyze their influence on the liquefaction rate and power consumption.The results show that an effective way for lowering the power consumption of the compressor consists of reducing the flow through the compressor through optimization of the percentage of mixed refrigerant.The power consumption of the compressor in the hybrid refrigeration process is affected by both flow and pressure ratios.Its specific power consumption can be reduced by increasing the flow and decreasing the pressure ratio at the same time.The increase in refrigerant pressure at the high-pressure end can significantly mitigate the energy loss of the heat exchanger and compressor. | Xiao Wu Zhaoting Wang Longfei Dong Yanping Xin Tianshu Yu | 2023 | Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing2023,19,1: | 0 |
| 19 | Ferroelectric,magnetic,and optical properties of Aurivillius compound Bi_(5)FeTi_(2.5)Co_(0.5)O_(15)显示文摘Bi_(5)FeTi_(2.5)Co_(0.5)O_(15)(BFTC)ceramics was successfully synthesized using the sol-gel method.It exhibits simultaneously visible-light response,ferroelectric and weak ferromagnetic orders at room temperature.The narrow band gap of 2.06 eV was determined via the UVevis diffuse absorption spectrum.The x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results show that the Fe ions in the samples is 3 t and 2 t valence states while the doped Co ions is 2 t valence state.The BFTC sample undergoes a ferromagnetic-like transition at~552 K.Weak ferromagnetism is mainly due to spin-canting of Fe-based and Co-based sublattices via Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya(DM)interaction.Dielectric loss and dielectric modulus exhibit the characteristics of dielectric relaxation,which can be ascribed to oxygen/vacancy hopping.These results reveal many potentially useful physical phenomena and open a new avenue to design of novel solar-energy conversion devices and multiferroic applications. | Hui Sun Yuying Wu Xi Xie Yuxi Lu Tianshu Yao Jiansheng Zhong Xiaobing Chen | 2018 | Journal of Materiomics2018,4,4: | 0 |
