| 1 | Effect of barium sulfate modification on the SO2 tolerance of V2O5/TiO2 catalyst for NH3-SCR reaction显示文摘Sulfur poisoning of V_2O_5/BaSO_4–TiO_2(VBT),V_2O_5/WO_3–TiO_2(VWT) and V_2O_5/BaSO_4–WO_3–TiO_2(VBWT) catalysts was performed in wet air at 350℃ for 3 hr,and activities for the selective catalytic reduction of NO_x with NH_3 were evaluated for 200–500℃.The VBT catalyst showed higher NO_x conversions after sulfur poisoning than the other two catalysts.The introduction of barium sulfate contributed to strong acid sites for the as-received catalyst,and eliminated the redox cycle of active vanadium oxide to some extent,which resulted in a certain loss of activity.Readily decomposable sulfate species formed on VBT-S instead of inactive sulfates on VWT-S.These decomposable sulfates increased the number of strong acid sites significantly.Some sulfate species escaped during catalyst preparation and barium sulfate was reproduced during sulfur poisoning,which protects vanadia from sulfur oxide attachment to a great extent.Consequently,the VBT catalyst exhibited the best resistance to sulfur poisoning. | Tengfei Xu Xiaodong Wu Xuesong Liu Li Cao Qiwei Lin Duan Weng | 2017 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,7: | 14 |
| 2 | Durability of neutralizing antibodies and T-cell response post SARS-CoV-2 infection显示文摘The ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease 19(COVID-19)is caused by a newly discoveredβcoronavirus named severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2).How long the adaptive immunity triggered by SARS-CoV-2 can last is of critical clinical relevance in assessing the probability of second infection and efficacy of vaccination.Here we examined,using ELISA,the IgG antibodies in serum specimens collected from 17 COVID-19 patients at 6–7 months after diagnosis and the results were compared to those from cases investigated 2 weeks to 2 months post-infection.All samples were positive for IgGs against the S-and N-proteins of SARS-CoV-2.Notably,14 samples available at 6–7 months post-infection all showed significant neutralizing activities in a pseudovirus assay,with no difference in blocking the cell-entry of the 614D and 614G variants of SARS-CoV-2.Furthermore,in 10 blood samples from cases at 6–7 months post-infection used for memory T-cell tests,we found that interferonγ-producing CD4+and CD8+cells were increased upon SARS-CoV-2 antigen stimulation.Together,these results indicate that durable anti-SARS-CoV-2 immunity is common in convalescent population,and vaccines developed from 614D variant may offer protection from the currently predominant 614D variant of SARS-CoV-2. | Yun Tan Feng Liu Xiaoguang Xu Yun Ling Weijin Huang Zhaoqin Zhu Mingquan Guo Yixiao Lin Ziyu Fu Dongguo Liang Tengfei Zhang Jian Fan Miao Xu Hongzhou Lu Saijuan Chen | 2020 | Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,6: | 6 |

| 4 | Protective effect of oxysophoridine on cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury in mice显示文摘Oxysophoridine, a new alkaloid extracted from Sophora alopecuroides L., has been shown to have a protective effect against ischemic brain damage. In this study, a focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury model was established using middle cerebral artery occlusion in mice. Both 62.5, 125, and 250 mg/kg oxysophoridine, via intraperitoneal injection, and 6 mg/kg nimodipine, via intragastric administration, were administered daily for 7 days before modeling. After 24 hours of reperfusion, mice were tested for neurological deficit, cerebral infarct size was assessed and brain tissue was collected. Results showed that oxysophoridine at 125, 250 mg/kg and 6 mg/kg nimodipine could reduce neurological deficit scores, cerebral infarct size and brain water content in mice. These results provided evidence that oxysophoridine plays a protective role in cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. In addition, oxysophoridine at 62.5, 125, and 250 mg/kg and 6 mg/kg nimodipine increased adenosine-triphosphate content, and decreased malondialdehyde and nitric oxide content. These compounds enhanced the activities of glutathione-peroxidase, superoxide dismutase, catalase, and lactate dehydrogenase, and decreased the activity of nitric oxide synthase. Protein and mRNA expression levels of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor subunit NR1 were markedly inhibited in the presence of 250 mg/kg oxysophoridine and 6 mg/kg nimodipine. | 5 | The SOC1-like gene BoMADS50 is associated with the flowering of Bambusa oldhamii显示文摘Bamboo is known for its edible shoots and beautiful texture and has considerable economic and ornamental value.Unique among traditional flowering plants,many bamboo plants undergo extensive synchronized flowering followed by large-scale death,seriously affecting the productivity and application of bamboo forests.To date,the molecular mechanism of bamboo flowering characteristics has remained unknown.In this study,a SUPPRESSOR OF OVEREXPRESSION OF CONSTANS1(SOC1)-like gene,BoMADS50,was identified from Bambusa oldhamii.BoMADS50 was highly expressed in mature leaves and the floral primordium formation period during B.oldhamii flowering and overexpression of BoMADS50 caused early fl owering in transgenic rice.Moreover,BoMADS50 could interact with APETALA1/FRUITFULL(AP1/FUL)-like proteins(BoMADS 14-1/2,BoMADS15-1/2)in vivo,and the expression of BoMADS50 was signi ficantly promoted by BoMADS14-1,further indicating a synergistic effect between BoMADS50 and BoAP1/FUL-like proteins in regulating B.oldhamii flowering.We also identi fi ed four additional transcripts of BoMADS50(BoMADS50-1/2/3/4)with different nucleotide variations.Although the protein-CDS were polymorphic,they had flowering activation functions similar to those of BoMADS50.Yeast one-hybrid and transient expression assays subsequently showed that both BoMADS50 and BoMADS50-1 bind to the promoter fragment of itself and the SHORT VEGETATIVE PHASE(SVP)-like gene BoSVP,but only BoMADS50-1 can positively induce their transcription.Therefore,nucleotide variations likely endow BoMADS50-1 with strong regulatory activity.Thus,BoMADS50 and BoMADS50-1/2/3/4 are probably important positive flowering regulators in B.oldhamii.Moreover,the functional conservatism and speci ficity of BoMADS50 and BoMADS50-1 might be related to the synchronized and sporadic flowering characteristics of B.oldhamii. | Dan Hou Ling Li Tengfei Ma Jialong Pei Zhongyu Zhao Mengzhu Lu Aimin Wu Xinchun Lin | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 4 |

| 16 | Adverse Geology Identification Through Mineral Anomaly Analysis During Tunneling:Methodology and Case Study显示文摘Accurate and effective identification of adverse geology is crucial for safe and efficient tunnel construction.Current methods of identifying adverse geology depend on the experience of geologists and are prone to misjudgment and omissions.Here,we propose a method for adverse geology identification in tunnels based on mineral anomaly analysis.The method is based on the theory of geoanomaly,and the mineral anomalies are geological markers of the presence of adverse geology.The method uses exploration data analysis(EDA)to calculate mineral anomaly thresholds,then evaluates the mineral anomalies based on the thresholds and identifies adverse geology based on the characteristics of the mineral anomalies.We have established a dynamic expansion process for background samples to achieve the dynamic evaluation of mineral anomalies by adjusting anomaly thresholds.This method has been validated and applied in a tunnel excavated in granite.As shown herein,in the tunnel range of 142+800–142+860,the fault F37 was successfully identified based on an anomalous decrease in the diagenetic minerals plagioclase and hornblende,as well as an anomalous increase in the content of the alteration minerals chlorite,laumonite,and epidote.The proposed method provides a timely warning when a tunnel enters areas affected by adverse geology and identifies whether the tunnel is gradually approaching or moving away from the fault.In addition,the applicability,accuracy,and further improvement of the method are discussed.This method improves our ability to identify adverse geology,from qualitative to quantitative,and can provide reference and guidance for the identification of adverse geology in mining and underground engineering. | Zhenhao Xu Tengfei Yu Peng Lin Shucai Li | 2023 | Engineering2023,,8: | 0 |
| 17 | Microscopic origin and relevant grain size effect of discontinuous grain growth in BaTiO3-based ferroelectric ceramics显示文摘Barium titanate[BaTiO_(3)(BT)]-based ceramics are typical ferroelectric materials.Here,the discontinuous grain growth(DGG)and relevant grain size effect are deeply studied.An obvious DGG phenomenon is observed in a paradigmatic Zr^(4+)-doped BT-based ceramic,with grains growing from∼2.2–6.6 to∼121.8–198.4μm discontinuously near 1320℃.It is found that fine grains can get together and grow into large ones with liquid phase surrounding them above eutectic temperature.Then the grain boundary density(D g)is quantitatively studied and shows a first-order reciprocal relationship with grain size,and the grain size effect is dependent on D g.Fine grains lead to high D g,and then cause fine domains and pseudocubic-like phase structure because of the interrupted long-range ferroelectric orders by grain boundary.High D g also causes the diffusion phase transition and low Curie dielectric peak due to the distribution of phase transition temperature induced by internal stress.Local domain switching experiments reveal that the polarization orientation is more difficult near the grain boundary,implying that the grain boundary inhibition dominates the process of polarization orientation in fine-grain ceramics,which leads to low polarization but a high coercive field.However,large-grain ceramics exhibit easy domain switching and high&similar ferroelectricity.This work reveals that the grain boundary effect dominates the grain size effect in fine-grain ceramics,and expands current knowledge on DGG and grain size effect in polycrystalline materials. | Hong Li Bo Wu Cong Lin Xiao Wu Tengfei Lin Min Gao Hong Tao Wenjuan Wu Chunlin Zhao | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,33: | 0 |

| 20 | Effects of the ambient fine particulate matter(PM2.5) exposure on urinary metabolic profiles in rats using UPLC-Q-TOF-MS显示文摘In order to study the damage of ambient fine particulate matter(PM2.5) to organism in the environment,the method of urinary metabolomics was used to detect the potential endogenous metabolites and their related metabolic pathways to clarify the toxicity mechanisms. Particles of PM2.5 collected from the fibrous membrane were extracted ultrasonically and dissolved in physiological saline to prepare PM2.5 suspension. The solution of saline and fine particular matter was injected into the trachea of rats respectively. The rats were injected two times a week for four weeks. Samples of 24-h urine were collected at the 14 th day after the end of exposure, and the ultra performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-TOF-MS) was used for the metabolomics detection. Principal component analysis(PCA) was used to investigate the global metabolomic alterations and a clear separation in the scatter diagram were observed. 17 potential endogenous metablites were identified from urinary samples in rats by UPLC-Q-TOF-MS.
