1Genetic diversity and DNA fingerprinting in jute(Corchorus spp.) based on SSR markers显示文摘Genetic diversity analysis and DNA finger printing are very useful in breeding programs,seed conservation and management. Jute(Corchorus spp.) is the second most important natural fiber crop after cotton. DNA fingerprinting studies in jute using SSR markers are limited. In this study, 58 jute accessions, including two control varieties(Huangma 179 and Kuanyechangguo) from the official variety registry in China were evaluated with 28 pairs of SSR primers. A total of 184 polymorphic loci were identified. Each primer detected 3 to 15 polymorphic loci, with an average of 6.6. The 58 jute accessions were DNA-fingerprinted with 67 SSR markers from the 28 primer pairs. These markers differentiated the 58 jute accessions from one another, with Co SSR305-120 and Co SSR174-195 differentiating Huangma 179 and Kuanyechangguo, respectively. NTSYS-pc2.10 software was used to analyze the genetic diversity in the 58 jute accessions. Their genetic similarity coefficients ranged from 0.520 to 0.910 with an average of 0.749, indicating relatively great genetic diversity among them. The 58 jute accessions were divided into four groups with the coefficient 0.710 used as a value for classification, consistent with their species and pedigrees. 2Anti-parkinsonian effects of octacosanol in 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6 tetrahydropyridine-treated mice显示文摘Our previous research showed that octacosanol exerted its protective effects in 6-hydroxydopamine-induced Parkinsonian rats. The goal of this study was to investigate whether octacosanol would attenuate neurotoxicity in 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6 tetrahydropyridine (MPTP)-treated C57BL/6N mice and its potential mechanism. Behavioral tests, tyrosine hydroxylase immunohistochemistry and western blot were used to investigate the effects of octacosanol in a mouse model of Parkinson's disease. Oral administration of octacosanol (100 mg/kg) significantly improved behavioral impairments in mice treated by MPTP and markedly ameliorated morphological appearances of tyrosine hydroxylase-positive neuronal cells in the substantia nigra. Furthermore, octacosanol blocked MPTP-induced phosphorylation of p38MAPK and JNK, but not ERK1/2. These findings implicated that the protective effects afforded by octacosanol might be mediated by blocking the phosphorylation of p38MAPK and JNK on the signal transduction in vivo. 3Efficient Image Transmission Schemes over Zigbee-Based Image Sensor Networks显示文摘Image transmission is one of the biggest challenges in wireless sensor networks because of the limited resource on sensor nodes. We proposed two image transmission schemes driven by reliability and real time considerations in order to transfer JPEG images over Zigbee-based sensor networks. By adding two bytes counter in the header of data packet, we can easily solve the repeated data reception problem caused by retransmission mechanism in traditional Zigbees network layer. We proposed an efficient retransmission and acknowledgment mechanism in Zigbees application layer. By classifying different data reception response events, we can provide data packets with differential responses and ensure that image packets can be transferred quickly even with large maximum number of retransmission. 4Enhanced catalytic activity of Ru through N modification toward alkaline hydrogen electrocatalysis显示文摘Exploring highly efficient electrocatalysts and understanding the reaction mechanisms for hydrogen electrocatalysis,including hydrogen oxidation reaction (HOR) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) in alkaline media are conducive to the conversion of hydrogen energy.Herein,we reported a new strategy to boost the HER/HOR performances of ruthenium (Ru) nanoparticles through nitrogen (N) modification.The obtained N-Ru/C exhibit remarkable catalytic performance,with normalized HOR exchange current density and mass activity of 0.56 m A/cm^(2)and 0.54 m A/μg,respectively,about 4 and 4.5 times higher than those of Ru/C,and even twofold enhancement compared to commercial Pt/C.Moreover,at the overpotential of 50 m V,the normalized HER current density of N-Ru/C is 5.5 times higher than that of Ru/C.Experimental and density functional theory (DFT) results verify the electronic regulation of Ru after N incorporation,resulting in the optimized hydrogen adsorption Gibbs free energy (ΔG_(H*)) and hence enhancing the HOR/HER performance.Yuanmeng Zhao Xuewei Wang Zhen Li Pingping Zhao Congliang Tao Gongzhen Cheng Wei Luo 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,2:2

9Experimental investigation of crossflow characteristics in multi-jets system at small nozzle-to-plate spacing显示文摘To further extend knowledge about the detailed knowledge on the crossflow characteristics in a multi-jets system under a confined space,particle image velocimetry (PIV) was employed to investigate the flow structures together with the distributions of the mean velocity components for Reynolds numbers (Re) ranging from 6 213 to 13 418,nozzle-to-plate spacing (H/D) varying from 0. 20 to1. 25,respectively. Results show that the crossflow configuration is significantly different from those of large nozzle-to-plate spacing. 13Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector.Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements,such as its low-energy threshold,high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors,and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors.In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable,assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition,approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected.This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter,which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle.Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better,depending on the central value,and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND 15Developmental competence and ultrastructural changes of heat-stressed mouse early blastocysts produced in vitro显示文摘Mouse early blastocysts were exposed to temperatures of 39℃ and 41℃ for 2 h,respectively,to determine their developmental competence and ultrastructural changes. The results showed that heat stress at 41℃ for 2 h,significantly reduced the percentages of expanded and hatched blastocysts,but not at 39℃ for 2 h. The average cell numbers in expanded blastocysts,which developed from early blastocysts heat-stressed at temperatures of 39℃ and 41℃,were significantly reduced. The average cell numbers in hatched blastocysts subjected to heat stress were no different from those in the control group cultured at 37℃. The mitochondria of the early blastocysts heat-stressed at 39℃ for 2 h,were slightly swollen,but they had recovered after culturing at 37℃ for 2 h. However,the mitochondria in the blastocysts heat stressed at 41℃ for 2 h were severely swollen,and their number increased. The ribosomes shed from the rough endoplasmic reticulum,and the number of secondary lysosomes in the plasma increased. The integrity of desmosomes was disrupted. The space between the nuclear envelope and the perivitelline membrane enlarged. The fibre fraction and the particulate fraction of nucleoli were separated. The heterochromatin in nucleoli was also increased in its quantity. There were some lamellar-shape structures and heterogeneous dense materials exhibiting in the cytoplasm. 16SR-DCSK Cooperative Communication System with Code Index Modulation:A New Design for 6G New Radios显示文摘This paper proposes a high-throughput short reference differential chaos shift keying cooperative communication system with the aid of code index modulation,referred to as CIM-SR-DCSK-CC system.In the proposed CIM-SR-DCSK-CC system,the source transmits information bits to both the relay and destination in the first time slot,while the relay not only forwards the source information bits but also sends new information bits to the destination in the second time slot.To be specific,the relay employs an N-order Walsh code to carry additional log_(2)N information bits,which are superimposed onto the SRDCSK signal carrying the decoded source information bits.Subsequently,the superimposed signal carrying both the source and relay information bits is transmitted to the destination.Moreover,the theoretical bit error rate(BER)expressions of the proposed CIMSR-DCSK-CC system are derived over additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN)and multipath Rayleigh fading channels.Compared with the conventional DCSKCC system and SR-DCSK-CC system,the proposed CIM-SR-DCSK-CC system can significantly improve the throughput without deteriorating any BER performance.As a consequence,the proposed system is very promising for the applications of the 6G-enabled lowpower and high-rate communication.Yi Fang Wang Chen Pingping Chen Yiwei Tao Mohsen Guizani 2023China Communications2023,20,10:0

19Biocompatibility of marine magnetotactic ovoid strain MO-1 for in vivo application显示文摘Magnetotactic bacteria are capable of biosynthesizing magnetic nanoparticles,also called magnetosomes,and swimming along magnetic field lines.The abilities endow the whole cells of magnetotactic bacteria with such applications as targeted therapy and manipulation of microrobots.We have shown that the intact marine magnetotactic bacteria MO-1 kill efficiently antibiotic-resistant pathogen Staphylococcus aureus in vivo,but the biocompatibility of this marine bacterium is unknown.In this study,the strain MO-1 was chosen to analyze its biocompatibility and potential for biomedicine applications.Results showed that MO-1 cells could be guided at 37℃ under an external magnetic field and swim in the blood plasma and urine.They could keep active locomotivity within 40 min in the plasma and urine,although their velocity slowed down.When incubated with human cells,magnetotactic bacteria MO-1 had no obvious effects on cellular viability at low dose,while the cell toxicity increased with the augmentation of the quantity of the MO-1 cells added.In the in-vivo experiments,the median lethal dose of magnetotactic bacteria MO-1 in rats was determined to be 7.9×10^(10) bacteria/kg.These results provided the foundation for the biocompatibility and safety evaluations of magnetotactic bacteria MO-1 and suggested that they could be basically used in clinical targeted therapy.Changyou CHEN Pingping WANG Long-Fei WU Tao SONG 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,6:0
