1Effect of dry density on ^(125)I diffusion in GMZ bentonite显示文摘Gaomiaozi(GMZ) bentonite is regarded as the favorable candidate backfilling material for a potential repository in China.It is important to understand the diffusion behavior of 125 I in GMZ bentonite and compare the diffusion behavior in GMZ and other types of bentonite like MX-80,Avonlea,etc.Therefore,through-and out-diffusion experiments were conducted to obtain the effective diffusion coefficient(D e) and distribution coefficient(K d).A computer code named Fitting for diffusion coefficient(FDP) was used for the experimental data processing and theoretical modeling.At the dry density of GMZ bentonite from 1600-2000 kg/m 3,the D e values of 125 I were(2.4-20.4) × 10-12 m 2 /s and K d values were constants.At dry density above 1800 kg/m 3,the diffusion behaviors were almost the same,indicating that the anion exclusion was ineffective.Out-diffusion results showed that the species of 125 I may be changed during the diffusion processing.It was probably caused by some organic matters or reducing substances in GMZ bentonite.Since the main composition of bentonite is montmorillonite,similar diffusion parameters were obtained in GMZ and other types of bentonite.The relationship of D e and accessible porosity(acc) could be described by Archie's law with exponent n = 1.2-2.8 for 125 I diffusion in bentonite,whereas n = 2.0 in GMZ bentonite.Furthermore,bentonite with the dry density of 1800 kg/m 3 was proposed as the backfilling materials used in the construction of high level radioactivity waste repository.WU Tao LI JinYing DAI Wei XIAO GuoPing SHU FuJun YAO Jun SU YuLan SHI Lei 2012Science China Chemistry2012,55,9:11
2Analysis of rare-earth elements in fluid inclusions by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS)显示文摘Inductively coupled plasma_mass spectrometry (ICP_MS) is used to determine rare_earth elements abundances in fluid inclusions. Quartz separates from the Lannigou and Yata Carlin_type gold deposits, southwestern China, were prepared by the decrepitation_leach method. Leachates were analyzed by ICP_MS, using conventional sample introduction. The results demonstrate that the decrepitation_leach method, in combination with ICP_MS analysis of leachates, is effective for REE determination. The chondrite_normalized REE patterns of inclusion fluids for the Lannigou and Yata samples associated with gold mineralization are characterized by light rare_earth elements (LREE) enrichment, with a weak negative Ce anomaly and a positive or negative Eu anomaly, whereas the pattern for the Lannigou sample associated with late gold mineralization (quartz_calcite stage) is characterized by LREE enrichment relative to HREE, with negative Ce and Eu anomalies.Wenchao Su Liang Qi Ruizhong Hu Guoping Zhang 1998Chinese Science Bulletin1998,43,22:4
3Decoding Cortical Glial Cell Development显示文摘Mouse cortical radial glial cells(RGCs)are primary neural stem cells that give rise to cortical oligodendrocytes,astrocytes,and olfactory bulb(OB)GABAergic interneurons in late embryogenesis.There are fundamental gaps in understanding how these diverse cell subtypes are generated.Here,by combining single-cell RNA-Seq with intersectional lineage analyses,we show that beginning at around E16.5,neocortical RGCs start to generate ASCL1^(+)EGFR^(+)apical multipotent intermediate progenitors(MIPCs),which then differentiate into basal MIPCs that express ASCL1,EGFR,OLIG2,and MKI67.These basal MIPCs undergo several rounds of divisions to generate most of the cortical oligodendrocytes and astrocytes and a subpopulation of OB interneurons.Finally,single-cell ATAC-Seq supported our model for the genetic logic underlying the specification and differentiation of cortical glial cells and OB interneurons.Taken together,this work reveals the process of cortical radial glial cell lineage progression and the developmental origins of cortical astrocytes and oligodendrocytes.Xiaosu Li Guoping Liu Lin Yang Zhenmeiyu Li Zhuangzhi Zhang Zhejun Xu Yuqun Cai Heng Du Zihao Su Ziwu Wang Yangyang Duan Haotian Chen Zicong Shang Yan You Qi Zhang Miao He Bin Chen Zhengang Yang 2021Neuroscience Bulletin2021,37,4:2
4The mobilization of rat’s mesenchymal stem cells into peripheral blood by LiCL and its potency differentiation显示文摘Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are multipotent cells, which can differentiate into different tissues. It is still controversial whether MSCs can be isolated from adult peripheral blood (PB) under normal conditions and whether they can be mobilized in a way similar to that of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). In this study, rat MSCs circulating in the PB under normal conditions can be isolated and cultured, and MSCs from PB and BM can be mobilized by LiCL. The mobilized MSCs can be induced to differentiate into neuron by such factors as β-mercaptoethanol and supernatants of nerve cell cultures. 5Longitudinal virological changes and underlying pathogenesis in hospitalized COVID-19 patients in Guangzhou,China显示文摘Prolonged viral RNA shedding and recurrence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)in coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)patients have been reported.However,the clinical outcome and pathogenesis remain unclear.In this study,we recruited 43 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 patients.We found that prolonged viral RNA shedding or recurrence mainly occurred in severe/critical patients(P<0.05).The average viral shedding time in severe/critical patients was more than 50 days,and up to 100 days in some patients,after symptom onset.However,chest computed tomography gradually improved and complete absorption occurred when SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR was still positive,but specific antibodies appeared.Furthermore,the viral shedding time significantly decreased when the A1,430G or C12,473T mutation occurred(P<0.01 and FDR<0.01)and increased when G227A occurred(P<0.05 and FDR<0.05).High IL1R1,IL1R2,and TNFRSF21 expression in the host positively correlated with viral shedding time(P<0.05 and false discovery rate<0.05).Prolonged viral RNA shedding often occurs but may not increase disease damage.Prolonged viral RNA shedding is associated with viral mutations and host factors.Zhengtu Li Yinhu Li Ruilin Sun Shaoqiang Li Lingdan Chen Yangqing Zhan Mingzhou Xie Jiasheng Yang Yanqun Wang Airu Zhu Guoping Gu Le Yu Shuaicheng Li Tingting Liu Zhaoming Chen Wenhua Jian Qian Jiang Xiaofen Su Weili Gu Liyan Chen Jing Cheng Jincun Zhao Wenju Lu Jinping Zheng Shiyue Li Nanshan Zhong Feng Ye 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,12:1

12Numerical Study of a 3D Two-Phase PEM Fuel Cell Model Via a Novel Automated Finite Element/Finite Volume Program Generator显示文摘Numerical methods of a 3D multiphysics,two-phase transport model of proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC)is studied in this paper.Due to the coexistence of multiphase regions,the standard finite element/finite volume method may fail to obtain a convergent nonlinear iteration for a two-phase transport model of PEMFC[49,50].By introducing Kirchhoff transformation technique and a combined finite element-upwind finite volume approach,we efficiently achieve a fast convergence and reasonable solutions for this multiphase,multiphysics PEMFC model.Numerical implementation is done by using a novel automated finite element/finite volume programgenerator(FEPG).By virtue of a high-level algorithmdescription language(script),component programming and human intelligence technologies,FEPG can quickly generate finite element/finite volume source code for PEMFC simulation.Thus,one can focus on the efficient algorithm research without being distracted by the tedious computer programming on finite element/finite volume methods.Numerical success confirms that FEPG is an efficient tool for both algorithm research and software development of a 3D,multiphysics PEMFC model with multicomponent and multiphase mechanism.Pengtao Sun Su Zhou Qiya Hu Guoping Liang 2012Communications in Computational Physics2012,11,1:0
13π-Extension and chlorination of non-fullerene acceptors enable more readily processable and sustainable high-performance organic solar cells显示文摘Organic solar cells(OSCs)processed without halogenated solvents and complex treatments are essential for future commercialization.Herein,we report three novel small molecule acceptors(NFAs)consisting of a Y6-like core but withπ-extended naphthalene with progressively more chlorinated end-capping groups and a longer branched chain on the Nitrogen atom.These NFAs exhibit good solubilities in nonchlorinated organic solvents,broad optical absorptions,closeπ-πstacking distances(3.63–3.84A),and high electron mobilities(~10^(-3)cm^(2)V^(-1)s^(-1)).The o-xylene processed and as-cast binary devices using PM6 as the donor polymer exhibit a PCE increasing upon progressive chlorination of the naphthalene end-capping group from 8.93%for YN to 14.38%for YN-Cl to 15.00%for YN-2Cl.Furthermore similarly processed ternary OSCs were fabricated by employing YN-Cl and YN-2Cl as the third component of PM6:CH1007 blends(PCE=15.75%).Compared to all binary devices,the ternary PM6:CH1007:YN-Cl(1:1:0.2)and PM6:CH1007:YN-2Cl(1:1:0.2)cells exhibit significantly improved PCEs of 16.49%and15.88%,respectively,which are among the highest values reported to date for non-halogenated solvent processed OSCs without using any additives and blend post-deposition treatments.Ning Su Jianhua Chen Mengran Peng Guoping Li Robert M.Pankow Ding Zheng Junqiao Ding Antonio Facchetti Tobin J.Marks 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,4:0
14A review:crystalline silicon membranes over sealed cavities for pressure sensors by using silicon migration technology显示文摘A silicon pressure sensor is one of the very first MEMS components appearing in the microsystem area.The market for the MEMS pressure sensor is rapidly growing due to consumer electronic applications in recent years. Requirements of the pressure sensors with low cost, low power consumption and high accuracy drive one to develop a novel technology. This paper first overviews the historical development of the absolute pressure sensor briefly. It then reviews the state of the art technology for fabricating crystalline silicon membranes over sealed cavities by using the silicon migration technology in detail. By using only one lithographic step, the membranes defined in lateral and vertical dimensions can be realized by the technology. 16Recognition for avian influenza virus proteins based on support vector machine and linear discriminant analysis显示文摘Total 200 properties related to structural characteristics were employed to represent structures of 400 HA coded proteins of influenza virus as training samples. Some recognition models for HA proteins of avian influenza virus (AIV) were developed using support vector machine (SVM) and linear discriminant analysis (LDA). The results obtained from LDA are as follows: the identification accuracy (Ria) for training samples is 99.8% and Ria by leave one out cross validation is 99.5%. Both Ria of 99.8% for training samples and Ria of 99.3% by leave one out cross validation are obtained using SVM model, respectively. External 200 HA proteins of influenza virus were used to validate the external predictive power of the resulting model. 17BMP7 expression in mammalian cortical radial glial cells increases the length of the neurogenic period显示文摘The seat of human intelligence is the human cerebral cortex,which is responsible for our exceptional cognitive abilities.Identifying principles that lead to the development of the large-sized human cerebral cortex will shed light on what makes the human brain and species so special.The remarkable increase in the number of human cortical pyramidal neurons and the size of the human cerebral cortex is mainly because human cortical radial glial cells,primary neural stem cells in the cortex,generate cortical pyramidal neurons for more than 130 days,whereas the same process takes only about 7 days in mice.The molecular mechanisms underlying this difference are largely unknown.Here,we found that bone morphogenic protein 7(BMP7)is expressed by increasing the number of corti-cal radial glial cells during mammalian evolution(mouse,ferret,monkey,and human).BMP7 expression in cortical radial glial cells promotes neurogenesis,inhibits gliogenesis,and thereby increases the length of the neurogenic period,whereas Sonic Hedgehog(SHH)signaling promotes cortical gliogenesis.We demonstrate that BMP7 sign-aling and SHH signaling mutually inhibit each other through regulation of GLI3 repressor formation.We propose that BMP7 drives the evolutionary expansion of the mammalian cortex by increasing the length of the neurogenic period.Zhenmeiyu Li Guoping Liu Lin Yang Mengge Sun Zhuangzhi Zhang Zhejun Xu Yanjing Gao Xin Jiang Zihao Su Xiaosu Li Zhengang Yang 2024Protein & Cell2024,15,1:0
18DEM analysis of passive arching in a shallow trapdoor under eccentric loading显示文摘This study analyzed the passive arching effect under eccentric loading by developing a series of trapdoor discrete numerical models.The numerical models were validated by comparison with laboratory test results.The deformation pattern,soil arching ratio,force chain distribution,and coordination number under various surcharge magnitudes and deviation distances were analyzed.The numerical results showed that the deformation diagram of soil particles can be divided into three zones:principal displacement zone,transition zone,and static zone.With an increase in the surcharge magnitude,the range of the principal displacement zone decreased,but the range of the transition region increased.The curve of the soil arching ratio on the trapdoor can be divided into three phases,which can be well characterized by the tangent modulus.The passive arching effect is degraded by a surcharge.The ulti-mate soil arching ratio could be approximated as a W-shaped distribution along the+x-direction.With an increase in the trapdoor displacement,the force chain on the trapdoor gradually expanded outward to form an inverted funnel shape.The most powerful force on the trapdoor was mainly distributed on its edge.The average coordination number decreased gradually as the trapdoor moved upward.Ruixiao Zhang Dong Su Xingtao Lin Guoping Lei Xiangsheng Chen 2023Particuology2023,,6:0
