1Dendrimers as carriers for contrast agents in magnetic resonance imaging显示文摘Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a non-invasive clinical imaging modality,which has become widely used in the diagnosis of human diseases around the world.Some MRI exams include the use of contrast agents.The goal of an ideal MRI contrast agent involves the tissue-or organ-targeting materials with high relaxivity and specificity,low toxicity and side effects,suitable long intravascular duration and excretion time and high contrast enhancement with low doses,in vivo,all coupled to low overall cost.Dendrimers are synthetic,highly branched,mono-disperse macromolecules of nanometer dimensions.Properties associated with these dendrimers such as uniform size,water solubility,modifiable surface functionality and available internal cavities make them candidates for ideal carriers of MRI contrast agents.The research progress of the dendritic contrast agents is discussed.YAN GuoPing AI ChaoWu LI Liang ZONG RongFeng LIU Fan 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,27:3
2Metamorphic Rock-hosted Disseminated Gold Deposits——A Case Study of the Xiaotongjiapuzi Gold Depositof Eastern Liaoning显示文摘The Xiaotongjiapuzi gold deposit occurs in a Palaeoproterozoic rift accretionary terrene in eastern Liaoning and is hosted by a carbonate formation of the Dashiqiao Formation, Liaohe Group. The metamorphic grade of the host rock is low amphibolite-high greenschist facies. Gold, which is mainly invisible, is distributed in pyrite and arsenopyrite. The grains of Au-bearing sulphide minerals are fine, ranging from 0.0 n to 1 mm. The wall-rock alterations are characterized by low-temperature silification, hydro-sericitization, serialization and carbonatization. The homogenization temperatures of the fluid inclusions in quartz closely associated with gold mineralization range from 140 to 240℃. The metallogenic age represented by the Ar-Ar isotopic age of sericite is 167 Ma. 3The mobilization of rat’s mesenchymal stem cells into peripheral blood by LiCL and its potency differentiation显示文摘Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are multipotent cells, which can differentiate into different tissues. It is still controversial whether MSCs can be isolated from adult peripheral blood (PB) under normal conditions and whether they can be mobilized in a way similar to that of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). In this study, rat MSCs circulating in the PB under normal conditions can be isolated and cultured, and MSCs from PB and BM can be mobilized by LiCL. The mobilized MSCs can be induced to differentiate into neuron by such factors as β-mercaptoethanol and supernatants of nerve cell cultures. 5Advances, opportunities, and challenge for full-color emissive carbon dots显示文摘Carbon dots(CDs), novel luminescent zero-dimensional carbon nanomaterials, have been widely applied due to their low toxicity, optimal optical properties, and easy modification. However, the current controllable equipment and mechanism explanation of CDs are relatively vague and require urgent resolution.Full-color emission CDs, an essential CDs category, have attracted people’s attention given their light and color-tunable properties. In addition to a wider range of biological and optoelectronic device applications, full-color emission CDs have similar structures and significantly affected the fluorescence mechanism of CDs. At present, few studies have reported on the summary research of CDs emitted by its full color, which greatly limits the development of CDs mechanisms and applications. As such, the present review detailed the full-color CDs development status, to which a suitable method for preparing full-color CDs was presented and the existing fluorescence emission mechanism of full-color CDs was summarized.Herein, we comprehensively introduced full-color CDs applications in biology and optoelectronics. Finally,we made an outlook on the development and potential applications of full-color CDs. 8Microwave-assisted ring-opening copolymerization of ε-caprolactone and 2-Phenyl-5,5-bis(oxymethyl) trimethylene carbonate显示文摘A series of polycarbonate copolymers were synthesized by microwave-assisted ring-opening polymerization of ε-caprolactone (CL) and 2-phenyl-5,5-bis(oxymethyl) trimethylene carbonate (PTC) with Tin (II) 2-ethylhexanoate as a catalyst. These copolymers obtained were detected by 1H NMR, FT-IR, UV, gel permeation chromatography (GPC), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and automatic contact angle meter. The influences of the feed molar ratio of monomers, catalyst concentration, reaction time and reaction temperature, as well as microwave irradiation power on the copolymerization process were also studied. In vitro degradation tests indicated that these polycarbonate copolymers possess the slow degradation rates and strong hydrophobicity.
