| 2 | Noether symmetries of the nonconservative and nonholonomic systems on time scales显示文摘In this paper we give a new method to investigate Noether symmetries and conservation laws of nonconservative and nonholonomic mechanical systems on time scales , which unifies the Noether's theories of the two cases for the continuous and the discrete nonconservative and nonholonomic systems. Firstly, the exchanging relationships between the isochronous variation and the delta derivatives as well as the relationships between the isochronous variation and the total variation on time scales are obtained. Secondly, using the exchanging relationships, the Hamilton's principle is presented for nonconservative systems with delta derivatives and then the Lagrange equations of the systems are obtained. Thirdly, based on the quasi-invariance of Hamiltonian action of the systems under the infinitesimal transformations with respect to the time and generalized coordinates, the Noether's theorem and the conservation laws for nonconservative systems on time scales are given. Fourthly, the d'Alembert-Lagrange principle with delta derivatives is presented, and the Lagrange equations of nonholonomic systems with delta derivatives are obtained. In addition, the Noether's theorems and the conservation laws for nonholonomic systems on time scales are also obtained. Lastly, we present a new version of Noether's theorems for discrete systems. | 4 | Genetic diversity and DNA fingerprinting in jute(Corchorus spp.) based on SSR markers显示文摘Genetic diversity analysis and DNA finger printing are very useful in breeding programs,seed conservation and management. Jute(Corchorus spp.) is the second most important natural fiber crop after cotton. DNA fingerprinting studies in jute using SSR markers are limited. In this study, 58 jute accessions, including two control varieties(Huangma 179 and Kuanyechangguo) from the official variety registry in China were evaluated with 28 pairs of SSR primers. A total of 184 polymorphic loci were identified. Each primer detected 3 to 15 polymorphic loci, with an average of 6.6. The 58 jute accessions were DNA-fingerprinted with 67 SSR markers from the 28 primer pairs. These markers differentiated the 58 jute accessions from one another, with Co SSR305-120 and Co SSR174-195 differentiating Huangma 179 and Kuanyechangguo, respectively. NTSYS-pc2.10 software was used to analyze the genetic diversity in the 58 jute accessions. Their genetic similarity coefficients ranged from 0.520 to 0.910 with an average of 0.749, indicating relatively great genetic diversity among them. The 58 jute accessions were divided into four groups with the coefficient 0.710 used as a value for classification, consistent with their species and pedigrees. | 5 | Tumor-expressed B7-H3 mediates the inhibition of antitumor T-cell functions in ovarian cancer insensitive to PD-1 blockade therapy显示文摘Although PD-L1/PD-1 blockade therapy has been approved to treat many types of cancers,the majority of patients with solid tumors do not respond well,but the underlying reason remains unclear.Here,we studied ovarian cancer(OvCa),a tumor type generally resistant to current immunotherapies,to investigate PD-1-independent immunosuppression.We found that PD-L1 was not highly expressed in the tumor microenvironment(TME)of human OvCa.Instead,B7-H3,another checkpoint molecule,was highly expressed by both tumor cells and tumor-infiltrating antigen-presenting cells(APCs),which correlated with T-cell exhaustion in patients.Using ID8 OvCa mouse models,we found that B7-H3 expressed on tumor cells,but not host cells,had a dominant role in suppressing antitumor immunity.Therapeutically,B7-H3 blockade,but not PD-1 blockade,prolonged the survival of ID8 tumorbearing mice.Collectively,our results demonstrate that tumor-expressed B7-H3 inhibits the function of CD8^(+)T cells and suggest that B7-H3 may be a target in patients who are not responsive to PD-L1/PD-1 inhibition,particularly OvCa patients. | Dongli Cai Jiaming Li Dingfeng Liu Shanjuan Hong Qin Qiao Qinli Sun Pingping Li Nanan Lyu Tiantian Sun Shan Xie Li Guo Ling Ni Liping Jin Chen Dong | 2020 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,3: | 8 |

| 7 | The role of the MAP kinase−kinase protein StMKK1 in potato immunity to different pathogens显示文摘Mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)cascades play important roles in plant immunity.Previously,we reported that the potato StMKK1 protein negatively regulates Nicotiana benthamiana resistance to Phytophthora infestans.However,the functions of StMKK1 in potato immunity are unknown.To investigate the roles of StMKK1 in potato resistance to different pathogens,such as the potato late-blight pathogen P.infestans,the bacterial wilt pathogen Ralstonia solanacearum,and the gray-mold fungal pathogen Botrytis cinerea,we generated StMKK1 transgenic lines and investigated the response of potato transformants to destructive oomycete,bacterial,and fungal pathogens.The results showed that overexpression and silencing of StMKK1 do not alter plant growth and development.Interestingly,we found that StMKK1 negatively regulated potato resistance to the hemibiotrophic/biotrophic pathogens P.infestans and R.solanacearum,while it positively regulated potato resistance to the necrotrophic pathogen B.cinerea.Further investigation showed that overexpression of StMKK1 suppressed potato pathogen-associated molecular pattern(PAMP)-triggered immunity(PTI)and salicylic acid(SA)-related responses,while silencing of StMKK1 enhanced PTI and SA-related immune responses.Taken together,our results showed that StMKK1 plays dual roles in potato defense against different plant pathogens via negative regulation of PTI and SA-related signaling pathways. | Xiaokang Chen Wenbin Wang Pingping Cai Ziwei Wang Tingting Li Yu Du | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 2 |

These films were synthesized using urea as nitrogen source and methane as carbon source, and were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), Raman spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). The N doping level was determined to be 3.72 at.%, and N atoms were suggested to mainly incorporated in a pyrrolic N configuration. All distinct Raman peaks display a shift due to the nitrogen-doping and compressive strain. The increase in urea concentration broadens the D and 2D peak's Full Width at Half Maximum(FWHM), due to the decrease of mean free path of phonons. sphere as its main detector.Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements,such as its low-energy threshold,high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors,and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors.In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable,assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition,approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected.This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter,which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle.Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better,depending on the central value,and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. | 20 | Efficient lignin biodegradation triggered by alkali-tolerant ligninolytic bacteria through improving lignin solubility in alkaline solution显示文摘Low lignin solubility in aqueous solution is one of the major bottlenecks for lignin biodegradation and bioconversion.Alkaline solution contributes to improving lignin solubility,whereas most microbes can not survive in alkaline conditions.Herein,lignin dissolution behaviors in different pH solutions were systematically investigated,which indicated that solution pH above 10.5 contributed to high solubility of alkali lignin.To match with alkaline lignin aqueous system,several alkali-tolerant ligninolytic bacteria were isolated,most of which are distinct to previously reported ones.Then,the ligninolytic capabilities of these isolates were assessed in different pH conditions by determining their assimilation on alkali lignin,lignin-derived monomers and dimers,their decolorization capabilities,and their lignin peroxidase activities.Thereafter,the underlying ligninolytic and alkali-tolerant mechanisms of Sutcliffiella sp.NC1,an alkalophilic bacterium,was analyzed on the basis of its genome information.The results not only provide valuable information for lignin biodegradation and lignin valorization,but also expand knowledge on alkali-tolerant bacteria. | Zhaoxian Xu Jie Li Pingping Li Chenggu Cai Sitong Chen Boning Ding Shuangmei Liu Mianshen Ge Mingjie Jin | 2023 | Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts2023,8,4: | 0 |
