1Control of nonmetallic inclusions of non-oriented silicon steel sheets by the rare earth treatment显示文摘Based on the industrial production of non-oriented silicon steel,the rare earth(RE) treatment during the Ruhrstahl Heraeus(RH) refining process was studied.The morphology and the size distribution were observed for the steel specimens treated with different RE treatment conditions.Furthermore,the formation and change of the nonmetallic inclusion characteristics of finished steel sheets after the RE treatment were discussed.The results have shown that in the present work,the suitable RE metal additions are 0.6-0.9 kg/t steel.After the suitable RE treatment,the formation of AlN and MnS inclusions were restrained,and the aggregation,flotation and removal of nonmetallic inclusions were efficiently promoted and the cleanliness of liquid steel was significantly increased.Meanwhile,the total oxygen concentration reached the minimum value and the desulfurization efficiency was optimal,and the type of main inclusions was approximately spherical or elliptical spherical RE radicle inclusions whose size was relatively large.ZHANG Feng MA Changsong WANG BO ZHANG Peili MA Zhigang ZHANG Yi 2011Baosteel Technical Research2011,5,2:12

3Chemical composition,energy and amino acid digestibility in double-low rapeseed meal fed to growing pigs显示文摘Background:The nutritional value of rapeseed meal may be variable due to the variation of its chemical composition.And a precise understanding of the nutritional value of an ingredient is beneficial for the accurate diet formulation and reduction of feed costs.This study was conducted to determine the chemical composition,digestible energy(DE) and metabolizable energy(ME) content,and apparent ileal digestibility(AID) and standardized ileal digestibility(SID) of amino acids(AA) for growing pigs.Thirteen solvent-extracted double-low rapeseed meal(DLRSM) samples were obtained from the main double-low rapeseed producing areas in China.Methods:The DE and ME contents of the 13 DLRSM samples were measured in growing pigs(six pigs per DLRSM sample,average initial body weight(BW) = 48.3 kg).The AID and SID of AA of 10 DLRSM samples were determined in 12 crossbred barrows(average initial BW = 35.3 kg) by using two 6x6 Latin square designs.Each Latin square comprised one N-free diet and 5 DLRSM test diets.Results:The chemical composition of DLRSM varied among samples,and the coefficient of variation was greater than 10%for ether extract(EE),neutral detergent fiber(NDF),acid detergent fiber(ADF),calcium(Ca),and total glucosinolates.The AA content of DLRSM varied among samples especially for lysine(Lys) and methionine(Met).On a dry matter(DM) basis,the apparent total tract digestibility(ATTD) of gross energy(GE),the DE and ME and the ME:DE ratio of DLRSM averaged 62.39%,2862 kcal/kg and 2723 kcal/kg,and 94.95%,respectively.The mean value of SID of Lys was 70.52% which varied from 66.54-76.54%.The SID of crude protein(CP),Met,and threonine(Thr) averaged 72.81%,82.41%,and 69.76%,respectively.Conclusions:There was great variability in chemical composition especially in the concentration of EE,NDF and ADF,but no significant differences in energy content of the DLRSM samples were observed.In addition,the AID and SID of all AA were relatively similar among DLRSM samples except for that of Lys.Peili Li Fengli Wang Fei Wu Jinrong Wang Ling Liu Changhua Lai 2015Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2015,6,4:5
4Microcystis aeruginosa/Pseudomonas pseudoalcaligenes interaction effects on off-flavors in algae/bacteria co-culture system under different temperatures显示文摘We conducted an experiment to study the interaction effects of Microcystis aeruginosa and Pseudomonas pseudoalcaligenes on off-flavors in an algae/bacteria co-culture system at three temperatures(24, 28 and 32℃). Gas chromatography–mass spectrometry was applied to measure off-flavor compounds dimethyl sulfide(DMS), dimethyl trisulfide(DMTS),2-methylisoborneol, geosmin(GEO) and β-cyclocitral. During the lag phase of co-cultured M. aeruginosa(first 15 days), P. pseudoalcaligenes significantly increased the production of DMS, DMTS and β-cyclocitral at all three temperatures. In the exponential phase of co-cultured M. aeruginosa(after 15 days), M. aeruginosa became the main factor on off-flavors in the co-culture system, and β-cyclocitral turned to the highest off-flavor compound. These results also indicated that DMS, DMTS and β-cyclocitral were the main off-flavor compounds in our M. aeruginosa/P. pseudoalcaligenes co-culture system. Univariate analysis was applied to investigate the effects of M. aeruginosa and P. pseudoalcaligenes on the production of off-flavors. The results demonstrated that both M. aeruginosa and P. pseudoalcaligenes could increase the production of DMS and DMTS, while β-cyclocitral was mainly determined by M. aeruginosa. 5SARS-CoV-2 ORF10 suppresses the antiviral innate immune response by degrading MAVS through mitophagy显示文摘The global coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)has caused severe morbidity and mortality in humans.It is urgent to understand the function of viral genes.However,the function of open reading frame 10(ORF10),which is uniquely expressed by SARS-CoV-2,remains unclear.In this study,we showed that overexpression of ORF10 markedly suppressed the expression of type I interferon(IFN-I)genes and IFN-stimulated genes.Then,mitochondrial antiviral signaling protein(MAVS)was identified as the target via which ORF10 suppresses the IFN-I signaling pathway,and MAVS was found to be degraded through the ORF10-induced autophagy pathway.Furthermore,overexpression of ORF10 promoted the accumulation of LC3 in mitochondria and induced mitophagy.Mechanistically,ORF10 was translocated to mitochondria by interacting with the mitophagy receptor Nip3-like protein X(NIX)and induced mitophagy through its interaction with both NIX and LC3B.Moreover,knockdown of NIX expression blocked mitophagy activation,MAVS degradation,and IFN-I signaling pathway inhibition by ORF10.Consistent with our observations,in the context of SARS-CoV-2 infection,ORF10 inhibited MAVS expression and facilitated viral replication.In brief,our results reveal a novel mechanism by which SARS-CoV-2 inhibits the innate immune response;that is,ORF10 induces mitophagy-mediated MAVS degradation by binding to NIX.Xingyu Li Peili Hou Wenqing Ma Xuefeng Wang Hongmei Wang Zhangping Yu Huasong Chang Tiecheng Wang Song Jin Xue Wang Wenqi Wang Yudong Zhao Yong Zhao Chunqing Xu Xiaomei Ma Yuwei Gao Hongbin He 2022Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,1:4
6Long-Term Impact of Soil Management on Microbial Biomass C, N and P in Rice-Based Cropping System显示文摘A 12-year field experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of different tillage methods and fertil- ization systems on microbial biomass C, N and P of a gray fluvo-aguic soil in rice-based cropping system. Five fertilization treatments were designed under conventional tillage (CT) or no tillage (NT) system: no fertilizer (CK); chemical fertilizer only (CF); combining chemical fertilizer with pig manure (PM); combining chemical fertilizer with crop straw (CS) and fallow (F). The results showed that biomass C, N and P were enriched in the surface layer of no-tilled soil, whereas they distributed relatively evenly in the tilled soil, which might result from enrichment of crop residue, organic manure and mineral fertilizer, and surficial development of root systems under NT. Under the cultivation system, NT had slightly greater biomass C, N and P at 0~5 cm depth, significantly less biomass C, N and P at 5~15 cm depth, less microbial biomass C, N and equivalent biomass P at 15 ~30 cm depth as compared to CT, indicating that tillage was beneficial for the multiplica tion of organisms in the plowed layer of soil. Under the fallow system, biomass C, N and P in the surface layer were significantly greater for NT than CT while their differences between the two tillage methods were negligible in the deeper layers. In the surface layer, biomass C, N and P in the soils amended with organic manure combined with mineral fertilizers were significantly greater than those of the treatments only with mineral fertilizers and the control. Soils without fertilizer had the least biomass nutrient contents among the five fertilization treatments. Obviously, the long-term application of organic manure could maintain the higher activity of microorganisms in soils. 7Application of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in minimally invasive ablation of benign thyroid nodules显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to investigate the application value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)before and after minimally invasive ablation procedures for benign thyroid nodule(s)(BTN).Methods:This prospective study included patients with BTNs scheduled to undergo ultrasound-guided minimally invasive ablation treatment.CEUS was performed before and after ablation(at 1 day,and 1,6,and 12 months after ablation).Changes in microvascular perfusion and the volume of BTNs were noted and assessed.Results:Sixty-two patients(62 BTNs),who underwent ablation procedures between June 2016 and August 2020,were included.All lesions were confirmed by biopsy,and histopathological results were obtained before ablation treatment.On preoperative CEUS,the lesions exhibited hyperenhancement(53.23%)or iso-enhancement(46.77%)during the arterial phase,and all lesions exhibited iso-enhancement in the venous and late phases.One day after ablation,none of the BTNs exhibited obvious enhancement on CEUS.One(1.61%)lesion was retreated due to a nodule-like enhancement area detected by CEUS at the 6-month follow-up.The mean nodular volume reduction rate(VRR)at 1,6,and 12 months follow-up demonstrated no significant difference between the two ablation groups(microwave ablation versus radiofrequency ablation).Twelve months after ablation,the mean(±SD)VRR of all BTNs was 60.3±10.3%.Conclusion:CEUS helped guide treatment decisions for BTNs before ablation treatment.Moreover,it could also be used to accurately and noninvasively evaluate treatment efficacy.Jiaying Cao Peili Fan Feihang Wang Shuainan Shi Lingxiao Liu Zhiping Yan Yi Dong Wenping Wang 2022Journal of Interventional Medicine2022,5,1:3

9Young Yum pill inhibits inflammatory mediators and nuclear factor-kappa B signaling in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Young Yum pill (YYP) on inflammatory mediators in cultured RAW 264.7 cells and elucidate the nuclear factor- kappa B (NF-κB)-related mechanism behind the action. METHODS: YYP was extracted with 95% ethanol Lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages were used to evaluate the effect of YYP on inflammatory mediators. Production of nitric oxide (NO) and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) were measured by Griess test and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, respectively. The levels of genes and proteins involved in the generation of inflammatory mediators were examined using real-time polymerase chain reaction and Western blotting, respectively. RESULTS: YYP dose-dependently suppressed LPS-induced production of NO, PGE2 and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), and elevation of mRNA and protein levels of inducible NO synthase and cyclooxygenase- 2 in RAW 264.7 macrophages. These observations were associated with decreased NF-κB p65 phosphorylation and nuclear localization, enhanced Akt (protein kinase B) phosphorylation, as well as reduced inhibitor of κB (IκB)α degradation and IκB kinase α/β phosphorylation. 12Lagged climatic effects on carbon fluxes over three grassland ecosystems in China显示文摘Aims The plasticity of ecosystem responses could buffer and post-pone the effects of climates on ecosystem carbon fluxes,but this lagged effect is often ignored.In this study,we used carbon flux data collected from three typical grassland ecosystems in China,including a temperate semiarid steppe in Inner mongolia(Neimeng site,Nm),an alpine shrub-meadow in Qinghai(Haibei site,Hb)and an alpine meadow steppe in Tibet(Dangxiong site,DX),to examine the time lagged effects of environmental factors on CO_(2) exchange.Methods Eddy covariance data were collected from three typical Chinese grasslands.In linking carbon fluxes with climatic factors,we used their averages or cumulative values within each 12-month period and we called them‘yearly’statistics in this study.To investigate the lagged effects of the climatic factors on the car-bon fluxes,the climatic‘yearly’statistics were kept still and the‘yearly’statistics of the carbon fluxes were shifted backward 1 month at a time.Important Findingssoil moisture and precipitation was the main factor driving the annual variations of carbon fluxes at the alpine Hb and DX,respectively,while the Nm site was under a synthetic impact of each climatic factor.The time lagged effect analysis showed that temperature had several months,even half a year lag effects on Co2 exchange at the three studied sites,while moisture’s effects were mostly exhibited as an immediate manner,except at Nm.In general,the lagged climatic effects were relatively weak for the alpine ecosystem.our results implied that it might be months or even 1 year before the variations of ecosystem carbon fluxes are adjusted to the current climate,so such lag effects could be resistant to more frequent climate extremes and should be a critical component to be considered in evaluating ecosystem stability.an improved knowledge on the lag effects could advance our understanding on the driving mechanisms of climate change effects on ecosystem carbon fluxes.Tao Zhang Mingjie Xu Yi Xi Juntao Zhu Li Tian Xianzhou Zhang Yanfen Wang Yingnian Li Peili Shi Guirui Yu Xiaomin Sun Yangjian Zhang 2015Journal of Plant Ecology2015,8,3:1

15Structural evolution of low-dimensional metal oxide semiconductors under external stress显示文摘Metal oxide semiconductors(MOSs) are attractive candidates as functional parts and connections in nanodevices.Upon spatial dimensionality reduction, the ubiquitous strain encountered in physical reality may result in structural instability and thus degrade the performance of MOS. Hence, the basic insight into the structural evolutions of low-dimensional MOS is a prerequisite for extensive applications, which unfortunately remains largely unexplored. Herein, we review the recent progress regarding the mechanical deformation mechanisms in MOSs, such as CuO and ZnO nanowires(NWs). We report the phase transformation of CuO NWs resulting from oxygen vacancy migration under compressive stress and the tensile strain-induced phase transition in ZnO NWs. 17Nitrogen-doped pyrogenic carbonaceous matter facilitates azo dye decolorization by sulfide: The important role of graphitic nitrogen显示文摘Pyrogenic carbonaceous matter(PCM) catalyzes azo dye decolorization by sulfide, but the nitrogen doping catalytic mechanisms are poorly understood. In this study, we found that stagnate time of azo dye methyl orange(MO) decolorization was reduced to 0.54-18.28 min in the presence of various nitrogen-doped graphenes(NGs), remarkably lower compared to graphene itself. Particularly, graphitic nitrogen played a critical role in NGs-catalyzed MO decolorization by sulfide. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and in-situ surface Raman analysis demonstrated that doping nitrogen, especially graphite one facilitated reactive intermediate polysulfides formation. This is attributed to the improved electron conductivity through graphitic nitrogen doping, and the enhanced interactions between sulfide and carbon atoms bonded to graphitic nitrogen. 19Efficacy of contrast-enhanced ultrasound-guided percutaneous core needle biopsy in anterior mediastinal masses显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of percutaneous core needle biopsy(PCNB)using ultrasound(US)-guided and contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)-guided procedures for anterior mediastinal masses(AMMs).Methods:In total,284 consecutive patients(166 men,118 women;mean age,43.0±18.4 years)who underwent PCNB for AMMs were enrolled.Patients were divided into the US-guided group(n=133)and the CEUS-guided group(n=151).PCNB was performed using a core needle(16-gauge or 18-gauge).Internal necrosis,diagnostic yield,and diagnostic accuracy were compared between the two groups.Results:The predominant final diagnosis of the cases in this study was thymoma(29.7%),lymphoma(20.5%),thymic carcinoma(13.3%),and germ cell tumour(13.3%),respectively.There was no significant difference in patient age,sex,number of percutaneous biopsies,or display rate of internal necrosis on conventional US between the two groups.The rate of internal necrosis of the lesions was significantly higher after contrast agent injection(72.2%vs.41.7%;P<0.001).The CEUS-guided group had a higher diagnostic yield than the US-guided group(100%vs.89.5%,P<0.001).There was no significant difference between the diagnostic accuracy of the CEUSguided and US-guided groups(97.3%vs.97.4%;P=1.000).None of the patients experienced adverse reactions or complications after US-guided or CEUS-guided PCNB.Conclusions:CEUS-guided PCNB can improve the diagnostic yield by optimizing the biopsy procedure.Peili Fan Jiaying Cao Yunjie Jin Hong Han Wenping Wang Huixiong Xu Zhengbiao Ji 2022Journal of Interventional Medicine2022,5,3:1
