2Excellent tribological properties of epoxy-Ti3C2 with three-dimensional nanosheets composites显示文摘As a widely used engineering polymer,epoxy resin has been successfully employed in high-performance components and setups.However,the poor thermal and friction properties of traditional epoxy resin greatly limit its application in many extreme environments.In this work,a new kind of epoxy-Ti3C2 with three-dimensional nanosheets(3DNS)composite which was designed by freeze-drying method showed up excellent thermal and friction properties.As a result,the coefficient of thermal expansion(CTE)of epoxy-Ti3C23DNS 3.0 composites was 41.9 ppm/K at 40℃,which was lower than that of the traditional epoxy resin(46.7 ppm/K),and the thermal conductivity(TC)was also improved from 0.176 to 0.262 W/(m-K).Meanwhile,epoxy-Ti3C23DNS 1.0 composites showed up the best friction property,with wear rate 76.3%lower than that of epoxy resin.This work is significant for the research of high-performance composite materials.Fanning MENG Zhenyu ZHANG Peili GAO Ruiyang KANG Yash BOYJOO Jinhong YU Tingting LIU 2021Friction2021,9,4:3
3Application of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in minimally invasive ablation of benign thyroid nodules显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to investigate the application value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)before and after minimally invasive ablation procedures for benign thyroid nodule(s)(BTN).Methods:This prospective study included patients with BTNs scheduled to undergo ultrasound-guided minimally invasive ablation treatment.CEUS was performed before and after ablation(at 1 day,and 1,6,and 12 months after ablation).Changes in microvascular perfusion and the volume of BTNs were noted and assessed.Results:Sixty-two patients(62 BTNs),who underwent ablation procedures between June 2016 and August 2020,were included.All lesions were confirmed by biopsy,and histopathological results were obtained before ablation treatment.On preoperative CEUS,the lesions exhibited hyperenhancement(53.23%)or iso-enhancement(46.77%)during the arterial phase,and all lesions exhibited iso-enhancement in the venous and late phases.One day after ablation,none of the BTNs exhibited obvious enhancement on CEUS.One(1.61%)lesion was retreated due to a nodule-like enhancement area detected by CEUS at the 6-month follow-up.The mean nodular volume reduction rate(VRR)at 1,6,and 12 months follow-up demonstrated no significant difference between the two ablation groups(microwave ablation versus radiofrequency ablation).Twelve months after ablation,the mean(±SD)VRR of all BTNs was 60.3±10.3%.Conclusion:CEUS helped guide treatment decisions for BTNs before ablation treatment.Moreover,it could also be used to accurately and noninvasively evaluate treatment efficacy.Jiaying Cao Peili Fan Feihang Wang Shuainan Shi Lingxiao Liu Zhiping Yan Yi Dong Wenping Wang 2022Journal of Interventional Medicine2022,5,1:3
4Efficacy of contrast-enhanced ultrasound-guided percutaneous core needle biopsy in anterior mediastinal masses显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of percutaneous core needle biopsy(PCNB)using ultrasound(US)-guided and contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)-guided procedures for anterior mediastinal masses(AMMs).Methods:In total,284 consecutive patients(166 men,118 women;mean age,43.0±18.4 years)who underwent PCNB for AMMs were enrolled.Patients were divided into the US-guided group(n=133)and the CEUS-guided group(n=151).PCNB was performed using a core needle(16-gauge or 18-gauge).Internal necrosis,diagnostic yield,and diagnostic accuracy were compared between the two groups.Results:The predominant final diagnosis of the cases in this study was thymoma(29.7%),lymphoma(20.5%),thymic carcinoma(13.3%),and germ cell tumour(13.3%),respectively.There was no significant difference in patient age,sex,number of percutaneous biopsies,or display rate of internal necrosis on conventional US between the two groups.The rate of internal necrosis of the lesions was significantly higher after contrast agent injection(72.2%vs.41.7%;P<0.001).The CEUS-guided group had a higher diagnostic yield than the US-guided group(100%vs.89.5%,P<0.001).There was no significant difference between the diagnostic accuracy of the CEUSguided and US-guided groups(97.3%vs.97.4%;P=1.000).None of the patients experienced adverse reactions or complications after US-guided or CEUS-guided PCNB.Conclusions:CEUS-guided PCNB can improve the diagnostic yield by optimizing the biopsy procedure.Peili Fan Jiaying Cao Yunjie Jin Hong Han Wenping Wang Huixiong Xu Zhengbiao Ji 2022Journal of Interventional Medicine2022,5,3:1
5Carbazole and tetrahydro-carboline derivatives as dopamine D_(3) receptor antagonists with the multiple antipsychotic-like properties显示文摘Dopamine D_(3) receptor(D_(3)R)is implicated in multiple psychotic symptoms.Increasing the D_(3)R selectivity over dopamine D_2 receptor(D_2R)would facilitate the antipsychotic treatments.Herein,novel carbazole and tetrahydro-carboline derivatives were reported as D_(3)R selective ligands.Through a structure-based virtual screen,ZLG-25(D_(3)R K_i=685 nmol/L;D_2R K_i>10,000 nmol/L)was identified as a novel D_(3)R selective bitopic ligand with a carbazole scaffold.Scaffolds hopping led to the discovery of novel D_(3)R-selective analogs with tetrahydro-β-carboline or tetrahydro-γ-carboline core.Further functional studies showed that most derivatives acted as h D_(3)R-selective antagonists.Several lead compounds could dose-dependently inhibit the MK-801-induced hyperactivity.Additional investigation revealed that 23j and 36b could decrease the apomorphine-induced climbing without cataleptic reaction.Furthermore,36b demonstrated unusual antidepressant-like activity in the forced swimming tests and the tail suspension tests,and alleviated the MK-801-induced disruption of novel object recognition in mice.Additionally,preliminary studies confirmed the favorable PK/PD profiles,no weight gain and limited serum prolactin levels in mice.These results revealed that 36b provided potential opportunities to new antipsychotic drugs with the multiple antipsychotic-like properties.Zhongtang Li Fan Fang Yiyan Li Xuehui Lv Ruqiu Zheng Peili Jiao Yuxi Wang Guiwang Zhu Zefang Jin Xiangqing Xu Yinli Qiu Guisen Zhang Zhongjun Li Zhenming Liu Liangren Zhang 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,11:0
6Integrative multiomics analysis identifies a metastasis-related gene signature and the potential oncogenic role of EZR in breast cancer显示文摘Distant metastasis is a major cause of increased mortality in breast cancer patients,but the mechanisms underlying breast cancer metastasis remain poorly understood.In this study,we aimed to identify a metastasis-related gene(MRG)signature for predicting progression in breast cancer.By screening using three regression analysis methods,a 9-gene signature(NOTCH1,PTP4A3,MMP13,MACC1,EZR,NEDD9,PIK3CA,F2RL1 and CCR7)was constructed based on an MRG set in the BRCA cohort from TCGA.This signature exhibited strong robustness,and its generalizability was verified in the Metabric and GEO cohorts.Of the nine MRGs,EZR is an oncogenic gene with a well-documented role in cell adhesion and cell migration,but it has rarely been investigated in breast cancer.Based on a search of different databases,EZR was found to be significantly more highly expressed in both breast cancer cells and breast cancer tissue.EZR knockdown significantly inhibited cell proliferation,invasion,chemoresistance and EMT in breast cancer.Mechanistically,RhoA activation assays confirmed that EZR knockdown inhibited the activity of RhoA,Rac1 and Cdc42.In summary,we identified a nine-MRG signature that can be used as an efficient prognostic indicator for breast cancer patients,and owing to its involvement in regulating breast cancer metastasis,EZR might serve as a therapeutic target.GUODONG XIAO FENG CHENG JING YUAN WEIPING LU PEILI WANG HUIJIE FAN 2022Oncology Research2022,30,1:0
7Broadband optical frequency comb generation based on single electro‑absorption modulation driven by radio frequency coupled signals显示文摘Broadband optical frequency comb(OFC)generation based on a single electro-absorption modulator(EAM)is proposed.The EAM is driven by a radio frequency(RF)multi-frequency signal generated by a multiplication coupler composed of an electrical power splitter and an arithmetic circuit.Thus the number of comb-lines of the generated OFC can be increased.A complete theoretical model of OFC generation by an EAM driven by nth power of the RF source is established,and the performance of the OFC is analyzed by using OptiSystem software.The results show that,the number of comb-lines of the OFC is positively correlated with the number of multiplication of the RF source signal.The frequency spacing of the comb-lines is twice the frequency of the RF source signal and is tunable by adjusting the frequency of the RF source signal.Increasing chirp factor and modulation index of EAM could increase the number of comb-lines of the generated OFC.The amplitude of the RF source signal had little impact on the fatness of the OFC and the average OFC power.The scheme developed is not only simple and low-cost,but also can produce a large number of comb-lines.Pan Jiang Peili Li Yiming Fan 2022Frontiers of Optoelectronics2022,15,4:0

9Promotion of the oxygen evolution performance of Ni–Fe layered hydroxides via the introduction of a proton-transfer mediator anion显示文摘Developing efficient catalysts with high durability and activity for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is imperative for sustainable energy conversion technologies,including hydrogen generation and CO_(2) reduction,as well as other electrochemical energy storage systems.To this end,a comprehensive understanding of the mechanism for the water oxidation reaction is vital.Herein,a surfactant,nonafluoro-1-butanesulfonate(FBS),was introduced into Ni-Fe layered double hydroxide(Ni Fe-FBS/CFP)via electrochemical deposition on the surface of a carbon fiber paper(CFP)substrate.The as-prepared Ni Fe-FBS/CFP electrode exhibited excellent catalytic activities for OER compared to the Ni-Fe layered double hydroxide based electrode(Ni Fe-LDH/CFP),an excellent stability of 15 h,and an ultralow Tafel slope of 25.8 m V dec-1.Furthermore,by combining the results of p H-dependent kinetics investigations,chemical probing,proton inventory studies,and isotopic and atom-protontransfer measurements,it was observed that a proton-transfer process controls the reaction rates of both the Ni Fe-LDH and Ni Fe-FBS catalysts,and the residual sulfonate groups serve as proton transfer mediator to accelerate the proton transfer rate.Wenlong Li Fusheng Li Yilong Zhao Chang Liu Yingzheng Li Hao Yang Ke Fan Peili Zhang Yu Shan Licheng Sun 2022Science China Chemistry2022,65,2:0
