| 1 | A LysM Receptor Heteromer Mediates Perception of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Symbiotic Signal in Rice显示文摘Symbiotic microorganisms improve nutrient uptake by plants.To initiate mutualistic symbiosis with arbus-cular mycorrhizal(AM)fungi,plants perceive Myc factors,including lipochitooligosaccharides(LCOs)and short-chain chitooligosaccharides(CO4/CO5),secreted by AM fungi.However,the molecular mechanism of Myc factor perception remains elusive.In this study,we identified a heteromer of LysM receptor-like kinases consisting of OsMYR1/OsLYK2 and OsCERK1 that mediates the perception of AM fungi in rice.CO4 directly binds to OsMYR1,promoting the dimerization and phosphorylation of this receptor complex.Compared with control plants,Osmyr1 and Oscerk1 mutant rice plants are less sensitive to Myc factors and show decreased AM colonization.We engineered transgenic rice by expressing chimeric receptors that respectively replaced the ectodomains of OsMYR1 and OsCERK1 with those from the homologous Nod factor receptors MtNFP and MtL YK3 of Medicago truncatula.Transgenic plants displayed increased cal-cium oscillations in response to Nod factors compared with control rice.Our study provides significant mechanistic insights into AM symbiotic signal perception in rice.Expression of chimeric Nod/Myc recep-tors achieves a potentially important step toward generating cereals that host nitrogen-fixing bacteria. | Jiangman He Chi Zhang Huiling Dai Huan Liu Xiaowei Zhang Jun Yang Xi Chen Yayun Zhu Dapeng Wang Xiaofeng Qi Weichao Li Zhihui Wang Guoyong An Nan YU Zuhua He Yong-Fei Wang Youli Xiao Peng Zhang Ertao Wang | 2019 | Molecular Plant2019,12,12: | 9 |
| 2 | The impact of endplate fracture on postoperative vertebral height loss and kyphotic deformity during treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures with balloon kyphoplasty显示文摘This retrospective study investigated the impact of endplate fracture on postoperative vertebral height loss and kyphotic deformity in 144 patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture(OVCF),who received balloon kyphoplasty.Patients were divided into four groups:Group 1 had no superior endplate fracture,Group 2 had fractures on the anterior portion of the superior endplate,Group 3 had fractures on the posterior portion of the superior endplate,and Group 4 had complete superior endplate fractures.Anterior and middle vertebral body height,vertebral compression ratio,vertebral height loss rate,and kyphosis Cobb angle of each patient were measured and visual analogue scale(VAS) and Oswestry disability index(ODI) scores were recorded.The anterior vertebral height and kyphosis deformity of all groups significantly improved after the surgery,whereas substantial anterior vertebral height loss and increased Cobb angle were observed in all patients at the last follow-up.Although the vertebral height loss rate and the Cobb angle in Group 2,3 and 4 were larger compared with Group 1 at the last follow-up,only the vertebral height loss rate in Group 4 and the increase in the Cobb angle in Group 2 and 4 were statistically different from those in Group 1.The VAS and ODI scores in all groups measured after the surgery and at the last follow-up were significantly lower compared with preoperative scores,but there was no significant difference among these groups.Balloon kyphoplasty significantly improved vertebral fracture height and kyphosis.Vertebral height loss and increased kyphotic deformity were observed in OVCF patients with endplate fractures after the surgery.Postoperative aggravation of kyphosis was observed in Group 2.Furthermore,severe vertebral height loss and increased kyphotic deformity were confirmed in Group 4 after the surgery.Our results suggested that postoperative vertebral height loss and aggravation of kyphosis may be associated with biomechanical changes in the vertebral body caused by endplate fracture.Therefore,surgery should not only restore compressed vertebral body height and correct kyphosis,but also correct the deformity of endplate to achieve an effective treatment of OVCF patients with endplate fracture. | Qingqing Li Long Xiao Jianwei Zhang Jin Fan Wei Zhou Guoyong Yin Yongxin Ren | 2016 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2016,30,5: | 5 |
| 3 | Copula-based identification of the non-stationarity of the relation between runoff and sediment load显示文摘It is important to identify the non-stationarity in the relation between runoff and sediment load under the backdrop of the changing environment.This relation helps to further understand the mechanisms of runoff and sediment yield.A copula-based method was used to detect possible change points in the relation between runoff and sediment load in the Wei River Basin(WRB),China,where soil erosion is a very severe issue.The modified Mann-Kendall trend test method was applied to obtain the trends of runoff and sediment load spanning 1960-2010 at monthly and annual timescales.Finally,the causes of the identified non-stationarity of the relation between runoff and sediment load were roughly analyzed from the perspective of climate change and human activities.Results indicated that:(1)the runoff and sediment load in the Jinghe and Wei rivers were generally characterized by noticeably decreasing trends at both monthly and annual timescales;(2)both the Jinghe and Wei rivers had a common change point(2002),implying that the stationarity of the relation between runoff and sediment load in the Jinghe and Wei River was invalid;(3)human activities including increasing water consumption and growing application of soil conservation practices are dominant factors resulting in non-stationarity in the relation between runoff and sediment load in the WRB.This study provides a new idea for identifying the non-stationarity of multivariate relation in the hydro-meteorological field under the background of the changing environment. | Shengzhi Huang Pei Li Qiang Huang Guoyong Leng | 2017 | International Journal of Sediment Research2017,32,2: | 5 |

| 5 | A comparison of robot-assisted and fluoroscopy-assisted kyphoplasty in the treatment of multi-segmental osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures显示文摘Osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture(OVCF)has become a major public health issue that becomes more pressing with increasing global aging.Percutaneous kyphoplasty(PKP)is an effective treatment for OVCF.Robot-assisted PKP has been utilized in recent years to improve accuracy and reduce complications.However,the effectiveness of robot-assisted PKP in the treatment of multi-segmental OVCF has yet to be proved.This study was designed to compare the efficacy of robot-assisted and conventional fluoroscopy-assisted multi-segmental PKP.A total of 30 cases with multi-segmental OVCF between April 2019 and April 2021 were included in this study.Fifteen cases were assigned to the robot-assisted PKP group(robot group)and 15 cases to the conventional fluoroscopy-assisted PKP group(conventional fluoroscopy group).The number of fluoroscopic exposures,fluoroscopic dose,operation time,cement leakage rate,visual analog scale(VAS)score,vertebral kyphosis angle(VKA),and height of fractured vertebral body(HFV)were compared between the 2 groups.The number of fluoroscopic exposures,fluoroscopic doses,and cement leakage rates in the robot group were lower than in the conventional fluoroscopy group(P<0.05)while the operative time in the robot group was longer than in the conventional fluoroscopy group(P<0.05).VAS score and VKA were decreased and HFV was increased after surgery in both groups(P<0.05).Therefore,robot-assisted PKP for the treatment of multi-segmental OVCF can reduce the number of fluoroscopic exposures,fluoroscopic doses,and cement leakage compared to conventional treatment.As such,robot-assisted PKP has good application prospects and is potentially more effective in the treatment of multi-segmental OVCF. | Qingqing Li Chaoqin Wu Zhenfei Huang Jiang Cao Jie Chang Guoyong Yin Lipeng Yu Xiaojian Cao Tao Sui | 2022 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2022,36,3: | 2 |

| 7 | Template-mediated strategy to regulate hierarchically nitrogen-sulfur co-doped porous carbon as superior anode material for lithium capacity显示文摘Considering its rapid lithiation/delithiation process and robust capacitive energy storage,hierarchical porous carbon is regarded as a promising candidate for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).However,it remains a great challenge to construct a porous structure and prevent structure stacking for carbon-based materials.Herein,a templatemediated approach is developed to synthesize hierarchical nitrogen-sulfur co-doped porous carbon(NSPC)using low-cost asphalt precursors.The strategy for synthesis uses g-C_(3)N_(4) and NaHCO_(3) as gaseous templates and NaCl as a solid template,which causes the formation of hierarchical porous carbon with a high specific surface area.The resultant porous structure and nitrogen-doping process can prevent the aggregation of nanosheets,maintain the structural stability upon cycling,and achieve rate-capable lithium storage.Serving as a LIBs anode,reversible specific capacities of the NSPC24 electrode reach 788 and 280 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.1 and 1 A·g^(-1),respectively.Furthermore,its specific capacity remains at 830 mAh·g^(-1) after 115 cycles at 0.1 A·g^(-1).Even after 500 cycles,high specific capacities of 727 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.5 A·g^(-1) and 624 mAh·g^(-1) at 1 A·g^(-1) are achieved,demonstrating excellent cycling performance.The gas-solid bifunctional template-mediated approach can guide the design of porous materials very well,meanwhile realizing the high value-added utilization of asphalt. | Yun LI Wang YANG Hanlin LIU Zhiqiang TU Sai CHE Bo JIANG Chong XU Guang MA Guoyong HUANG Yongfeng LI | 2022 | Frontiers of Materials Science2022,16,1: | 1 |

| 13 | Stoichiometric evolutions of PH3 under high pressure:implication for high-Tc superconducting hydrides显示文摘The superconductivity of hydrides under high pressure has attracted a great deal of attention since the recent observation of the superconducting transition at 203 K in strongly compressed H2S.It has been realized that the stoichiometry of hydrides might change under high pressure,which is crucial in understanding the superconducting mechanism.In this study,PH3 was studied to understand its superconducting transition and stoichiometry under high pressure using Raman,IR and X-ray diffraction measurements,as well as theoretical calculations.PH3 is stable below 11.7 GPa and then it starts to dehydrogenate through two dimerization processes at room temperature and pressures up to 25 GPa.Two resulting phosphorus hydrides,P2H4 and P4H6,were verified experimentally and can be recovered to ambient pressure.Under further compression above 35 GPa,the P4H6 directly decomposed into elemental phosphorus.Low temperature can greatly hinder polymerization/decomposition under high pressure and retains P4H6 up to at least 205 GPa.The superconductivity transition temperature of P4H6 is predicted to be 67 K at 200 GPa,which agrees with the reported result,suggesting that it might be responsible for superconductivity at higher pressures.Our results clearly show that P2H4 and P4H6 are the only stable P–H compounds between PH3 and elemental phosphorus,which is helpful for shedding light on the superconducting mechanism. | Ye Yuan Yinwei Li Guoyong Fang Guangtao Liu Cuiying Pei Xin Li Haiyan Zheng Ke Yang Lin Wang | 2019 | National Science Review2019,6,3: | 1 |
