1MiR-182 is up-regulated and targeting Cebpa in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘MicroRNAs(miRNAs) are endogenous small non-coding RNAs that repress their targets at post transcriptional level.Existing studies have shown that miRNAs are important regulatory genes in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),as either tumor suppressors or oncogenes.MiR-122 is normally downregulated in HCC and regarded as a tumor suppressor.Recently miR-122 has been reported to be regulated by CEBPA,which is then involved in a novel pathway to influence proliferation of tumor cells.However it is unknown whether CEBPA is regulated by miRNAs in HCC.In this study,we find that miR-182 is upregulated in HCC model rat,and represses CEBPA in both rat and human.This further improves the current CEBPA/miR-122 pathway that controls the proliferation of tumor cells.These results suggest that miR-182 is a potential oncogene in HCC and could be used as a diagnostic marker and drug target of HCC.Chenggang Wang Ren Ren Haolin Hu Changjun Tan Miao Han Xiaolin Wang Yun Zheng 2014Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2014,26,1:13
2A high-quality Actinidia chinensis(kiwifruit)genome显示文摘Actinidia chinensis(kiwifruit)is a perennial horticultural crop species of the Actinidiaceae family with high nutritional and economic value.Two versions of the A.chinensis genomes have been previously assembled,based mainly on relatively short reads.Here,we report an improved chromosome-level reference genome of A.chinensis(v3.0),based mainly on PacBio long reads and Hi-C data.The high-quality assembled genome is 653 Mb long,with 0.76%heterozygosity.At least 43%of the genome consists of repetitive sequences,and the most abundant long terminal repeats were further identified and account for 23.38%of our novel genome.It has clear improvements in contiguity,accuracy,and gene annotation over the two previous versions and contains 40,464 annotated protein-coding genes,of which 94.41%are functionally annotated.Moreover,further analyses of genetic collinearity revealed that the kiwifruit genome has undergone two whole-genome duplications:one affecting all Ericales families near the K-T extinction event and a recent genus-specific duplication.The reference genome presented here will be highly useful for further molecular elucidation of diverse traits and for the breeding of this horticultural crop,as well as evolutionary studies with related taxa.Haolin Wu Tao Ma Minghui Kang Fandi Ai Junlin Zhang Guanyong Dong Jianquan Liu 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:10
3A chromosome-scale genome assembly of Isatis indigotica,an important medicinal plant used in traditional Chinese medicine显示文摘Isatis indigotica(2n=14)is an important medicinal plant in China.Its dried leaves and roots(called Isatidis Folium and Isatidis Radix,respectively)are broadly used in traditional Chinese medicine for curing diseases caused by bacteria and viruses such as influenza and viral pneumonia.Various classes of compounds isolated from this species have been identified as effective ingredients.Previous studies based on transcriptomes revealed only a few candidate genes for the biosynthesis of these active compounds in this medicinal plant.Here,we report a high-quality chromosome-scale genome assembly of I.indigotica with a total size of 293.88 Mb and scaffold N50=36.16 Mb using single-molecule real-time long reads and high-throughput chromosome conformation capture techniques.We annotated 30,323 highconfidence protein-coding genes.Based on homolog searching and functional annotations,we identified many candidate genes involved in the biosynthesis of main active components such as indoles,terpenoids,and phenylpropanoids.In addition,we found that some key enzyme-coding gene families related to the biosynthesis of these components were expanded due to tandem duplications,which likely drove the production of these major active compounds and explained why I.indigotica has excellent antibacterial and antiviral activities.Our results highlighted the importance of genome sequencing in identifying candidate genes for metabolite synthesis in medicinal plants.Minghui Kang Haolin Wu Qiao Yang Li Huang Quanjun Hu Tao Ma Zaiyun Li Jianquan Liu 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:9

6Analysis of users’ electricity consumption behavior based on ensemble clustering显示文摘Due to the increase in the number of smart meter devices,a power grid generates a large amount of data.Analyzing the data can help in understanding the users’electricity consumption behavior and demands;thus,enabling better service to be provided to them.Performing power load profile clustering is the basis for mining the users’electricity consumption behavior.By examining the complexity,randomness,and uncertainty of the users’electricity consumption behavior,this paper proposes an ensemble clustering method to analyze this behavior.First,principle component analysis(PCA)is used to reduce the dimensions of the data.Subsequently,the single clustering method is used,and the majority is selected for integrated clustering.As a result,the users’electricity consumption behavior is classified into different modes,and their characteristics are analyzed in detail.This paper examines the electricity power data of 19 real users in China for simulation purposes.This manuscript provides a thorough analysis along with suggestions for the users’weekly electricity consumption behavior.The results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.Qi Zhao Haolin Li Xinying Wang Tianjiao Pu Jiye Wang 2019Global Energy Interconnection2019,2,6:7
7Soil erosion and sediment interception by check dams in a watershed for an extreme rainstorm on the Loess Plateau,China显示文摘The magnitude of soil erosion and sediment load reduction efficiency of check dams under extreme rainstorms is a long-standing concern.The current paper aims to use check dams to deduce the amount of soil erosion under extreme rainstorms in a watershed and to identify the difference in sediment interception efficiency of different types of check dams.Based on the sediment deposition at 12 check dams with 100% sediment interception efficiency and sub-catchment clustering by taking 12 damcontrolled catchments as clustering criteria,the amount of soil erosion resulting from an extreme rainstorm event on July 26,2017(named '7·26' extreme rainstorm) was estimated in the Chabagou watershed in the hill and gully region of the Loess Plateau.The differences in the sediment interception efficiency among the check dams in the watershed were analyzed according to field observations at 17 check dams.The results show that the average erosion intensity under the '7-26' extreme rainstorm was approximately 2.03×10~4 t/km^2,which was 5 times that in the second largest erosive rainfall in 2017(4.15×10~3 t/km^2) and 11-384 times that for storms in 2018(0.53×10~2 t/km^2-1.81×10~3 t/km^2).Under the '7-26' extreme rainstorm,the amount of soil erosion in the Chabagou watershed above the Caoping hydrological station was 4.20 × 106 t.The sediment interception efficiency of the check dams with drainage canals(including the destroyed check dams) and with drainage culverts was 6.48 and 39.49%,respectively.The total actual sediment amount trapped by the check dams was 1.11 × 106 t,accounting for 26.36% of the total amount of soil erosion.In contrast,3.09×106 t of sediment were input to the downstream channel,and the sediment deposition in the channel was 2.23×10~6 t,accounting for 53.15%of the total amount of soil erosion.The amount of sediment transport at the hydrological station was8.60×10~5 t.The Sediment Delivery Ratio(SDR) under the '7·26' extreme rainstorm was 0.21.The results indicated that the amount of soil erosion was huge,and the sediment interception efficiency of the check dams was greatly reduced under extreme rainstorms.It is necessary to strengthen the management and construction technology standards of check dams to improve the sediment interception efficiency and flood safety in the watershed.Leichao Bai Nan Wang Juying Jiao Yixian Chen Bingzhe Tang Haolin Wang Yulan Chen Xiqin Yan Zhijie Wang 2020International Journal of Sediment Research2020,35,4:7
8NiPS_(3)quantum sheets modified nitrogen-doped mesoporous carbon with boosted bifunctional oxygen electrocatalytic performance显示文摘Electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reactions(ORR)and oxygen evolution reactions(OER)are highly crucial and challenging toward the energy storage and conversion technologies such as fuel cells,metal-air batteries and water electrolysis.To replace noble-metal based catalysts and boost catalytic performance of carbon-based materials,we initially develop the nickel,phospho rus,sulfur and nitrogen co-modified mesoporous carbon(NiPS_(3)@NMC)as a bifunctional oxygen electrocatalyst.The perfo rmance for ORR(half-wave potential at 0.90 V)and OER(10 mA cm^(-2)at 1.48 V)surpasses those of Pt/C coupled with IrO_(2)catalysts and most of the non-precious metal based bifunctional electrocatalysts reported in related literature.Moreover,the electrochemical durability is also confirmed by accelerated durability tests(ADTs)and long-term chronoamperometry(CA)tests.We demonstrated that the interfacial effect between NiPS_(3)quantum sheets(QS s)and NMC substrates by thermal activation contributed to the enhanced oxygen electrode bifunctionality with more active sites,due to the electrons-donating from nickel,phosphorus and sulfur elements and relatively enriched pyridinic type N.Such excellent overall performance highlights the potential application of NiPS3 QSs and NMC composites as the materials on energy conversion and storage.Kai Huang Yuyang Xu Yanpeng Song Ruyue Wanga Hehe Wei Yuanzheng Long Ming Lei Haolin Tang Jiangang Guo Hui Wu 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,6:7
9An efficient bifunctional electrocatalyst derived from layer-by-layer self-assembly of a three-dimensional porous Co-N-C@graphene显示文摘Three-dimensional (3D) porous carbon-based materials with tunable composition and microstructure are of great interest for the development of oxygen involved electrocatalytic reactions. Here, we report the synthesis of 3D porous carbon-based electrocatalyst by self-assembling Co-metal organic frameworks (MOF) building blocks on graphene via a layer-by-layer technique. Precise control of the structure and morphology is achieved by varying the MOF layer to tune the electrocatalytic properties. The as-produced electrocatalyst exhibits an excellent catalytic activity for the oxygen reduction reaction in 0.1molL^-1 KOH, showing a high onset potential of 0.963V vs. reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE) and a low tafel slope of 54mVdec^-1, compared to Pt/C (0.934V and 52mVdec^-1, respectively). Additionally, it shows a slightly lower potential vs. RHE (1.72V) than RuO2 (1.75V) at 10mAcm^-2 in an alkaline electrolyte. A rechargeable Zn-air battery based on the as-produced 3D porous catalyst demonstrates a high peak power density of 119mWcm^-2 at a cell voltage of 0.578V while retaining an excellent stability over 250 charge-discharge cycles.Shichang Cai Rui Wang William M. 10Properties of Cloud and Precipitation over the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The characteristics of seasonal precipitation over the Tibetan Plateau(TP) were investigated using TRMM(Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission) precipitation data(3B43). Sensitive regions of summer precipitation interannual variation anomalies were investigated using EOF(empirical orthogonal function) analysis. Furthermore, the profiles of cloud water content(CWC) and precipitable water in different regions and seasons were analyzed using TRMM-3A12 data observed by the TRMM Microwave Imager. Good agreement was found between hydrometeors and precipitation over the eastern and southeastern TP, where water vapor is adequate, while the water vapor amount is not significant over the western and northern TP.Further analysis showed meridional and zonal anomalies of CWC centers in the ascending branch of the Hadley and Walker Circulation, especially over the south and east of the TP. 11MicroRNA-132 in the Adult Dentate Gyrus is Involved in Opioid Addiction Via Modifying the Differentiation of Neural Stem Cells显示文摘MicroRNA-132(miR-132), a small RNA that regulates gene expression, is known to promote neurogenesis in the embryonic nervous system and adult brain.Although exposure to psychoactive substances can increase miR-132 expression in cultured neural stem cells(NSCs)and the adult brain of rodents, little is known about its role in opioid addiction. So, we set out to determine the effect of miR-132 on differentiation of the NSCs and whether this effect is involved in opioid addiction using the rat morphine self-administration(MSA) model. We found that miR-132 overexpression enhanced the differentiation of NSCs in vivo and in vitro. Similarly, speci?c overexpression of miR-132 in NSCs of the adult hippocampal dentate gyrus(DG) during the acquisition stage of MSA potentiated morphine-seeking behavior. 12Relationship of gelatinases-tight junction proteins and blood-brain barrier permeability in the early stage of cerebral ischemia and reperfusion显示文摘Gelatinases matrix metalloproteinase-2 and matrix metalloproteinase-9 have been shown to mediate claudin-5 and occludin degradation, and play an important regulatory role in blood-brain barrier permeability. This study established a rat model of 1.5-hour middle cerebral artery occlusion with reperfusion. Protein expression levels of claudin-5 and occludin gradually decreased in the early stage of reperfusion, which corresponded to the increase of the gelatinolytic activity of matrix metalloproteinase-2 and matrix metalloproteinase-9. In addition, rats that received treatment with matrix metalloproteinase inhibitor N-[(2R)-2-(hydroxamidocarbonylmethyl)-4-methylpenthanoyl]-L- tryptophan methylamide (GM6001) showed a significant reduction in Evans blue leakage and an inhibition of claudin-5 and occludin protein degradation in striatal tissue. These data indicate that matrix metalloproteinase-2 and matrix metalloproteinase-9-mediated claudin-5 and occludin degradation is an important reason for blood-brain barrier leakage in the early stage of reperfusion. The leakage of the blood-brain barrier was present due to gelatinases-mediated degradation of claudin-5 and occludin proteins. 13Rational design of hierarchically porous Fe-N-doped carbon as efficient electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction reaction and Zn-air batteries显示文摘The rational design and construction of hierarchically porous nanostructure for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) electrocatalysts is crucial to facilitate the exposure of accessible active sites and promote the mass/electron transfer under the gas-solid-liquid triple-phase condition. Herein, an ingenious method through the pyrolysis of creative polyvinylimidazole coordination with Zn/Fe salt precursors is developed to fabricate hierarchically porous Fe-N-doped carbon framework as efficient ORR electrocatalyst. The volatilization of Zn species combined with the nanoscale Kirkendall effect of Fe dopants during the pyrolysis build the hierarchical micro-, meso-, and macroporous nanostructure with a high specific surface area (1,586 m^(2)·g^(−1)), which provide sufficient exposed active sites and multiscale mass/charge transport channels. The optimized electrocatalyst exhibits superior ORR activity and robust stability in both alkaline and acidic electrolytes. 14Relationships Between Community Structure and Environmental Factors in Xixiakou Artificial Reef Area显示文摘The construction of artificial reefs has unparallelly developed for a few decades in China.Artificial reefs can be used to manage and conserve commercially exploited fish and crustacea.However,their suitability as ecological niche is poorly characterized.Therefore,in this study,we detected the seasonal variation of community biodiversity and the corresponding driving environmental factors.We also explored the relationships between dominant species and environmental factors to identify appropriate ecological niche areas.Different statistical analysis methods were used to assess species distribution within an artificial reef area in Xixiakou during nine sampling events in four seasons between 2017 and 2018.Non-metric multidimensional scaling(NMDS)and cluster analysis results indicated that the components of community can be divided into two clusters.Complexity of community,which is exhibited by species number,biodiversity,and catch per unit effort(CPUE),was significantly higher in summer than in other seasons.Generalized additive model(GAMs)results revealed the significant effects of temperature and chlorophyll a on the community structure.Sebastes schlegelii,Hexagrammos otakii,Conger myriaster and Charybdis japonica were the dominant species in four seasons.GAMs results indicated that temperature,dissolved oxygen(DO),pH and chlorophyll a affect the CPUE of dominant species significantly.The distinct suitable ecological niche for each dominant species was found in this study.For example,Charybdis japonica preferred to live in the area with 20.7–22.1℃,dissolved oxygen 7.07–7.15 mg L−1 and salinity 31.8–31.9.The results of this study are beneficial to resource conservation and fishery management.YU Haolin YANG Wenzhao LIU Changdong TANG Yanli SONG Xiefa FANG Guangjie 2020Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,4:4

16Aerodynamic performance enhancement of co-flow jet airfoil with simple high-lift device显示文摘The present study performed a numerical investigation to explore the performance enhancement of a co-flow jet(CFJ)airfoil with simple high-lift device configuration,with a specific goal to examine the feasibility and capability of the proposed configuration for low-speed take-off and landing.Computations have been accomplished by an in-house-programmed Reynoldsaveraged Navier-Stokes solver enclosed by k-ωshear stress transport turbulence model.Three crucial geometric parameters,viz.,injection slot location,suction slot location and its angle were selected for the sake of revealing their effects on aerodynamic lift,drag,power consumption and equivalent lift-to-drag ratio.Results show that using simple high-lift devices on CFJ airfoil can significantly augment the aerodynamic associated lift and efficiency which evidences the feasibility of CFJ for short take-off and landing with small angle of attack.The injection and suction slot locations are more influential with respect to the aerodynamic performance of CFJ airfoil compared with the suction slot angle.The injection location is preferable to be located in the downstream of the pressure suction peak on leading edge to reduce the power expenditure of the pumping system for a relative higher equivalent lift-to-drag ratio.Another concluded criterion is that the suction slot should be oriented on the trailing edge flap for achieving more aerodynamic gain,meanwhile,carefully selecting this location is crucial in determining the aerodynamic enhancement of CFJ airfoil with deflected flaps.Haolin ZHI Zhenhao ZHU Yujin LU Shuanghou DENG Tianhang XIAO 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,9:3
17Geology, Geochemistry, and Geochronology of the Fenghuangshan Skarn-type Copper Deposit in the Tongling Ore Cluster, Anhui Province, East China显示文摘The Fenghuangshan skarn-type Cu deposit, Tongling Ore Cluster, Anhui Province, is an important component in the Middle-Lower Yangtze River ore-forming belt. To better understand magmatism and its relationship to mineralization, we investigated geochemical features, ore-forming fluids, and geochronology of the Xinwuli intrusion and the related Fenghuangshan Cu deposit. Lithogeochemical characteristics show that the Xinwuli quartz monzodiorite is formed by mixing magma derived from upper mantle alkaline basalt that has been contaminated by crust materials. C, H and O isotopes indicate that ore-forming fluids mainly come from the magma, with minor amounts of meteoric fluids involved at the late stage. S and Pb isotopic components indicate that ore-forming materials are derived from the mantle. Molybdenite Re-Os isotopic dating yields Re-Os model ages ranging from 139.1±2.4 Ma to 142.0±2.2 Ma, with an isochronal age of 141.1±1.4 Ma, which is consistent with sensitive, high-resolution ion microprobe (SHRIMP) zircon U-Pb ages of quartz monzodiorite and granodiorite in the mining area. 18Improved thermal stability and infrared emissivity of high-entropy REMgAl_(11)O_(19)and LaMAl_(11)O_(19)(RE=La,Nd,Gd,Sm,Pr,Dy;M=Mg,Fe,Co,Ni,Zn)显示文摘LaMgAl_(11)O_(19)(LMA),characterized by high melting point,low density and thermal conductivity as well as good infrared emissivity,is regarded as a potential candidate for the thermal protection of hypersonic vehicles.Nevertheless,the unsatisfied phase stability at high temperature results in declining of the emissivity below 6μm,which limits the extensive applications of LaMgAl_(11)O_(19).In order to overcome this obstacle,three dense bulk high-entropy ceramics,(La_(0.2)Nd_(0.2)Gd_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Pr_(0.2))MgAl_(11)O_(19)(HE LMA-1),(La_(0.2)Nd_(0.2)Gd_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Dy_(0.2))Mg Al_(11)O_(19)(HE LMA-2)and La(Mg_(0.2)Fe_(0.2)Co_(0.2)Ni_(0.2)Zn_(0.2))Al_(11)O_(19)(HE LMA-3),were designed and successfully prepared through solid state reaction at 1700℃for 4 h in one step.XRD analyses show that the phase compositions of HE LMA-1,HE LMA-2 and HE LMA-3 are single-phase solid solutions with the relative density of 95.61%,95.49%and 94.31%,respectively.Heat treatment experiments demonstrate that the phase composition of HE LMA-1 remains a single phase after high-temperature heating,while second phase appears in other two samples.The stability of HE LMA-1 is attributed to small average size differenceδ(~4%)of constitute elements.Intriguingly,the average emissivity of HE LMA-1 in the range of 3-6μm reaches 0.9,which is significantly higher than that of LMA and other two HE LMA samples.The emissivity of all samples remains above 0.95 from 6 to 10μm.In the far infrared region(10-14μm),although the emissivity of these specimens decreases slightly,it still exceeds 0.85.The UV-Vis absorption spectra indicate that the formation of many discrete impurity energy levels with small intervals in HE LMA-1 promotes the f electrons to transit between adjacent impurity energy levels and conduction band,which enhances the infrared emission of HE LMA-1 below 6μm.In a word,with improved phase stability and thermal emissivity in infrared range,high-entropy REMgAl_(11)O_(19),especially(La_(0.2)Nd_(0.2)Gd_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Pr_(0.2))MgAl_(11)O_(19)(HE LMA-1),is a promising candidate in thermal protection coatings of hypersonic vehicles.Haolin Zhu Ling Liu Huimin Xiang Fu-Zhi Dai Xiaohui Wang Zhuang Ma Yanbo Liu Yanchun Zhou 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,9:3
192D nanomaterials for tissue engineering application显示文摘Recently,tissue engineering has developed into a powerful tool for repairing and reconstructing damaged tissues and organs.Tissue engineering scaffolds play a vital role in tissue engineering,as they not only provide structural support for targeted cells but also serve as templates that guide tissue regeneration and control the tissue structure.Over the past few years,owing to unique physicochemical properties and excellent biocompatibility,various types of two-dimensional(2D)nanomaterials have been developed as candidates for the construction of tissue engineering scaffolds,enabling remarkable achievements in bone repair,wound healing,neural regeneration,and cardiac tissue engineering.These efforts have significantly advanced the development of tissue engineering.In this review,we summarize the latest advancements in the application of 2D nanomaterials in tissue engineering.First,each typical 2D nanomaterial is introduced briefly,followed by a detailed description of its applications in tissue engineering.Finally,the existing challenges and prospects for the future of the application of 2D nanomaterials in tissue engineering are discussed.Jingyang Zhang Haolin Chen Meng Zhao Guiting Liu Jun Wu 2020Nano Research2020,13,8:3
