| 1 | Cryogenic 3D printing of dual-delivery scaffolds for improved bone regeneration with enhanced vascularization显示文摘Three-dimensional(3D)printing has been increasingly employed to produce advanced bone tissue engineering scaffolds with biomimetic structures and matched mechanical strengths,in order to induce improved bone regeneration in defects with a critical size.Given that the successful bone regeneration requires both excellent osteogenesis and vascularization,endowing scaffolds with both strong bone forming ability and favorable angiogenic potential would be highly desirable to induce improved bone regeneration with required vascularization.In this investigation,customized bone tissue engineering scaffolds with balanced osteoconductivity/osteoinductivity were produced via cryogenic 3D printing ofβ-tricalcium phosphate and osteogenic peptide(OP)containing water/poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)/dichloromethane emulsion inks.The fabricated scaffolds had a hierarchically porous structure and were mechanically comparable to human cancellous bone.Angiogenic peptide(AP)containing collagen I hydrogel was then coated on scaffold surface to further provide scaffolds with angiogenic capability.A sequential release with a quick AP release and a slow but sustained OP release was obtained for the scaffolds.Both rat endothelial cells(ECs)and rat bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)showed high viability on scaffolds.Improved in vitro migration and angiogenesis of ECs were obtained for scaffolds delivered with AP while enhanced osteogenic differentiation was observed in scaffolds containing OP.The in vivo results showed that,toward scaffolds containing both AP and OP,the quick release of AP induced obvious angiogenesis in vivo,while the sustained OP release significantly improved the new bone formation.This study provides a facile method to produce dual-delivery scaffolds to achieve multiple functions. | Chong Wang Jiahui Lai Kai Li Shaokui Zhu Bingheng Lu Jia Liu Yujin Tang Yen Wei | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,1: | 7 |
| 2 | The significance and variation characteristics of interlay water in smectite of hydrocarbon source rocks显示文摘To investigate variation characteristics of interlayer water bound up with organic matter in smectite, organo-clay complexes extracted from grinded source rock samples were determined using thermo-XRD, DTA and PY-GC. The d001 diffraction peak of organo-clay complexes is postponed from 250 to 550°C before reaching 1.00 nm and accompanied by exothermal peaks on DTA and organic matter with abundant C20-C30 carbon detected by PY-GC, which is different from single smectite and indicates the existence of organic matter in the interlayer of smectite. Water desorption characteristics of organo-clay complexes are in consistent with smectite at 100 and 600°C, but different from smectite at 550°C with an additional dehydration peak and a remaining d001 diffraction peak, suggesting the water removed at 550°C is interlayer adsorption water rather than constituent water of clay minerals. | 4 | Aerodynamic performance enhancement of co-flow jet airfoil with simple high-lift device显示文摘The present study performed a numerical investigation to explore the performance enhancement of a co-flow jet(CFJ)airfoil with simple high-lift device configuration,with a specific goal to examine the feasibility and capability of the proposed configuration for low-speed take-off and landing.Computations have been accomplished by an in-house-programmed Reynoldsaveraged Navier-Stokes solver enclosed by k-ωshear stress transport turbulence model.Three crucial geometric parameters,viz.,injection slot location,suction slot location and its angle were selected for the sake of revealing their effects on aerodynamic lift,drag,power consumption and equivalent lift-to-drag ratio.Results show that using simple high-lift devices on CFJ airfoil can significantly augment the aerodynamic associated lift and efficiency which evidences the feasibility of CFJ for short take-off and landing with small angle of attack.The injection and suction slot locations are more influential with respect to the aerodynamic performance of CFJ airfoil compared with the suction slot angle.The injection location is preferable to be located in the downstream of the pressure suction peak on leading edge to reduce the power expenditure of the pumping system for a relative higher equivalent lift-to-drag ratio.Another concluded criterion is that the suction slot should be oriented on the trailing edge flap for achieving more aerodynamic gain,meanwhile,carefully selecting this location is crucial in determining the aerodynamic enhancement of CFJ airfoil with deflected flaps. | Haolin ZHI Zhenhao ZHU Yujin LU Shuanghou DENG Tianhang XIAO | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,9: | 3 |

| 8 | Petrogenesis of Early Permian Intrusive Rocks from Southeastern Inner Mongolia, China: Constraints on the Tectonic Framework of the Southeastern Central Asian Orogenic Belt显示文摘The late Paleozoic tectonic framework of the southeastern Central Asian Orogenic Belt is key to restricting the accretion orogeny between the Siberia Craton and the North China Craton. To clarify the framework, petrogenesis of early Permian intrusive rocks from southeastern Inner Mongolia was studied. Zircon U-Pb dating for bojite and syenogranite from Ar-Horqin indicate that they were emplaced at 288–285 Ma. Geochemical data reveal that the bojite is highly magnesian and low-K to middle-K calc-alkaline, with E-MORB-type REE and IAB-like trace element patterns. The syenogranite is a middle-K calc-alkaline fractionated A-type granite and shows oceanic-arc-like trace element patterns, with depleted Sr-Nd-Hf isotopes,(~(87)Sr/~(86)Sr)I = 0.7032–0.7042, ε_(Nd)(t) = +4.0 to +6.6 and zircon ε_(Hf)(t) = +11.14 to +14.99. This suggests that the bojite was derived from lithospheric mantle metasomatized by subducted slab melt, while the syenogranite originated from very juvenile arc-related lower crust. Usng data from coeval magmatic rocks from Linxi-Ar-Horqin, the Ar-Horqin intra-oceanic arc was reconstructed, i.e., initial transition in 290–280 Ma and mature after 278 Ma. | 11 | Quantitative prediction of oil saturation of unconsolidated sandstone reservoir based on time-lapse seismic “relative difference method”: Taking Zeta oil field in West Africa as an example显示文摘In view of the disadvantage that the absolute difference of time-lapse seismic(the difference between monitoring data and base data) is not only related to the change of oil saturation, but also closely related to the thickness of reservoir, a time-lapse seismic 'relative difference method'(the ratio of monitoring data to base data) not affected by the thickness of reservoir but only related to the change of fluid saturation, is proposed through seismic forward modeling after fluid displacement simulation. Given the same change of fluid saturation, the absolute difference of time-lapse seismic conforms to the law of 'tuning effect' and seismic reflection of 'thin bed', and the remaining oil prediction method based on absolute difference of time-lapse seismic is only applicable to the reservoirs with uniform thickness smaller than the tuning thickness or with thickness greater than the tuning thickness. The relative difference of time-lapse seismic is not affected by reservoir thickness, but only related to the change of fluid saturation. It is applicable to all the deep-sea unconsolidated sandstone reservoirs which can exclude the effect of pressure, temperature, pore type and porosity on seismic. Therefore, the relation between the relative difference of time-lapse seismic and the change of fluid saturation, which is obtained from seismic forward modeling after Gassmann fluid displacement simulation, can be used to quantitatively predict the change of reservoir water saturation and then the distribution of the remaining oil. | 12 | Correlation between per-well average dynamic reserves and initial absolute open flow potential(AOFP) for large gas fields in China and its application显示文摘Based on performance data of over 600 wells in 32 large gas fields of different types in China, the correlation is established between per-well average dynamic reserves( G) and average initial absolute open flow potential(IAOFq) of each field, and its connotation and applicability are further discussed through theoretical deduction. In log-log plot, G vs. IAOFq exhibit highly dependent linear trend, which implicates the compatibility between G and IAOFq attained through development optimization to reach the balance among annual flow capacity, maximum profits and certain production plateau, that is to match productivity with rate maintenance capacity. The correlation can be used as analogue in new gas field development planning to evaluate the minimum dynamic reserves which meet the requirement of stable and profitable production, and facilitate well pattern arrangement. | 14 | Insight into the role of ethylene glycol on thermodynamics and nucleation kinetics of dimethyl terephthalate in mixed solvent system显示文摘Dissolution and nucleation are two essential processes for industrial crystallization.This paper in-vestigates the effect of ethylene glycol addition on the crystallization behavior of dimethyl terephthalate(DMT)in solution.The DMT solubility in mixed solvent system(methanol-ethylene glycol)was deter-mined by isothermal satiation approach,and the solubility was associated using seven models.The model fitting results were consistent with the experimental values.Based on the results,the metastable zone width(MSZW)of DMT was detected by the polythermal approach;the modified Sangwal's theory was used to investigate the nucleation behavior,which can provide a new way of thought for better analysis of the crystallization behavior.The results demonstrated that MSZW was associated with various elements,such as cooling rate,saturation temperature and mass fraction of ethylene glycol.The addition of ethylene glycol slowed down the nucleation rate as shown by the broadening of MSZW.We derive the solid-liquid interface energy,the nucleation driving force,the critical nucleation size and the critical Gibbs free energy according to the classical nucleation theory.It is demonstrated that the nucleation driving force and the solid-liquid interface energy are dependent and jointly influence the MSZW. | Yujin Zhang Chunyan Shi Jing Tang Li Liu Dongxia Yan Qing Zhou Xingmei Lu Songyan Jia | 2024 | Particuology2024,85,2: | 0 |
| 15 | 广东省放疗医师对乳腺癌改良根治术后放射治疗认识现状调查分析(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of our study was to comprehensively access current status of radiotherapy physicians' opinions in post-mastectomy radiotherapy(PMRT) for breast cancer in Guangdong province.Methods:From June 2007 to June 2008,questionnaires on the clinical value,sequencing with chemotherapy and endocrine therapy,indications and irradiated targets for PMRT were sent to physicians of all radiotherapy departments registering at Radiotherapy Professional Committee of Guangdong Anti-cancer Association.Results:There were 126 physicians joining this investigation.Proportions of physicians who accepted the views that PMRT could merely improve local control or can improve both local control and overall survival were 100% and 25.2%.The most common sequences of PMRT and chemotherapy or endocrine therapy were 'sandwich' and sequential modes,performed 46.9% and 59.5% respectively.The median interval of surgery and PMRT was 8 weeks.Proportions of physicians who accepted T3-4 diseases,or four or more axillary lymph nodes metastasis,or T1-2 with 1-3 positive lymph nodes,or T1-2N0 with primary tumor located in the center or inner quadrant as the indications of PMRT were 97.6%,100%,46.8%,13.5%,respectively.Proportions of physicians who accepted chest wall,supraclavicular region,internal mammary chain or axilla as irradiated targets were 86.5%,100%,49.2% and 38.9% respectively.Conclusion:For Radiotherapy physicians of Guangdong Province,there is still lacking of consensus in the opinions of whether PMRT can improve survival,and optimal sequencing with chemotherapy or endocrine therapy,and how to make decision for patients with T1-2 with 1-3 positive lymph nodes,and rational irradiated targets,which requires advanced professional training for physicians and further prospective clinical trial evidences to guide clinical practice. | Xiaobo Huang Ge Wen Nianji Cui Yujin Zhang Taixiang Lu Xunxing Guan Mengzhong Liu | 2011 | The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2011,10,4: | 0 |
| 16 | Low thermal conductivity of dense(TiZrHfVNbTa)C_(x) high-entropy carbides by tailoring carbon stoichiometry显示文摘Transition metal carbides are promising candidates for thermal protection materials due to their high melting points and excellent mechanical properties.However,the relatively high thermal conductivity is still a major obstacle to its application in an ultra-high-temperature insulation system.In this work,the low thermal conductivity of dense(TiZrHfVNbTa)Cx(x=0.6-1)high-entropy carbides has been realized by adjusting the carbon stoichiometry.The thermal conductivity gradually decreases from 10.6 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1) at room temperature to 6.4 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1) with carbon vacancies increasing.Due to enhanced scattering of phonons and electrons by the carbon vacancies,nearly full-dense(97.9%)(TiZrHfVNbTa)C_(0.6) possesses low thermal conductivity of 6.4 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1),thermal diffusivity of 2.3 mm^(2)·s^(−1),as well as electrical resistivity of 165.5μΩ·cm.The thermal conductivity of(TiZrHfVNbTa)C_(0.6) is lower than that of other quaternary and quinary high-entropy carbide ceramics,even if taking the difference of porosity into account in some cases,which is mainly attributed to compositional complexity and carbon vacancies.This provides a promising route to reduce the thermal conductivity of high-entropy carbides by increasing the number of metallic elements and carbon vacancies. | Lei CHEN Wen ZHANG Wenyu LU Boxin WEI Sijia HUO Yujin WANG Yu ZHOU | 2023 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,1: | 0 |

| 18 | Computer vision-aided bioprinting for bone research显示文摘Bioprinting is an emerging additive manufacturing technology that has enormous potential in bone implantation and repair. The insufficient accuracy of the shape of bioprinted parts is a primary clinical barrier that prevents widespread utilization of bioprinting,especially for bone design with high-resolution requirements. During the last five years, the use of computer vision for process control has been widely practiced in the manufacturing field. Computer vision can improve the performance of bioprinting for bone research with respect to various aspects, including accuracy, resolution, and cell survival rate. Hence, computer vision plays a substantial role in addressing the current defect problem in bioprinting for bone research. In this review, recent advances in the application of computer vision in bioprinting for bone research are summarized and categorized into three groups based on different defect types: bone scaffold process control, deep learning, and cell viability models. The collection of printing parameters,data processing, and feedback of bioprinting information, which ultimately improves printing capabilities, are further discussed. | 19 | Double crosslinked biomimetic composite hydrogels containing topographical cues and WAY-316606 induce neural tissue regeneration and functional recovery after spinal cord injury显示文摘Spinal cord injury(SCI)is an overwhelming and incurable disabling condition,for which increasing forms of multifunctional biomaterials are being tested,but with limited progression.The promising material should be able to fill SCI-induced cavities and direct the growth of new neurons,with effective drug loading to improve the local micro-organism environment and promote neural tissue regeneration.In this study,a double crosslinked biomimetic composite hydrogel comprised of acellularized spinal cord matrix(ASCM)and gelatin-acrylated-β-cyclodextrin-polyethene glycol diacrylate(designated G-CD-PEGDA)hydrogel,loaded with WAY-316606 to activate canonical Wnt/β-catenin signaling,and reinforced by a bundle of three-dimensionally printed aligned polycaprolactone(PCL)microfibers,was constructed.The G-CD-PEGDA component endowed the composite hydrogel with a dynamic structure with a self-healing capability which enabled cell migration,while the ASCM component promoted neural cell affinity and proliferation.The diffusion of WAY-316606 could recruit endogenous neural stem cells and improve neuronal differentiation.The aligned PCL microfibers guided neurite elongation in the longitudinal direction.Animal behavior studies further showed that the composite hydrogel could significantly recover the motor function of rats after SCI.This study provides a proficient approach to produce a multifunctional system with desirable physiological,chemical,and topographical cues for treating patients with SCI. | Xingchang Zhao Xianzhe Lu Kai Li Shiqiang Song Zhaohui Luo Chuanchuan Zheng Chengliang Yang Xiumei Wang Liqiang Wang Yujin Tang Chong Wang Jia Liu | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,6: | 0 |
| 20 | Aerodynamic characteristics of co-flow jet wing with simple high-lift devices显示文摘Numerical investigations are conducted to explore the aerodynamic characteristics of three-dimensional Co-Flow Jet(CFJ) wing with simple high-lift devices during low-speed takeoff and landing. Effects of three crucial parameters of CFJ wing, i.e., angle of attack, jet momentum and swept angle, are comprehensively examined. Additionally, the aerodynamic characteristics of two CFJ configurations, i.e., using open and discrete slots for injection, are compared. The results show that applying CFJ technique to a wing with simple high-lift device is able to generate more lift,reduce drag and enlarge stall margin with lower energy expenditure due to the super-circulation effect. Increasing the jet intensity can reduce the drag significantly, which is mainly contributed by the reaction jet force. The Oswald efficiency factor is, in some circumstances, larger than one,which indicates the potential of CFJ in reducing induced drag. Compared with clean wing configuration, using CFJ technique allows the aerodynamic force variation less sensitive to the swept angle, and such phenomenon is better observed for small swept angle region.
