1Evaluation and assessment of semen for IVF/ICSI显示文摘Evaluation and assessment of sement is very important for both diagnosis of male infertility and selection of patients for treatment with IVF or ICSI.In standard IVF,sperm function is essential for normal fertilization:sperm must be able to bind to zona pellucida (ZP),undergo the acrosome reaction and penetrate the ZP and fuse with the oolemma before fertilization takes place.In contrast,most sperm functions are not required for fertilization in ICSI since sperm bypass the ZP and oolemma by injection of a single sperm directly into cytoplasm of oocyte.Therefore,the clinical decision on treatment of patients with either IVF or ICSI is mostly dependent on results of sperm tests.However,conventional semen analyses do not provide accurate information about sperm fertilizing ability since many patients with subtle sperm defects can not be detected.More advanced sperm function tests are required to detect sperm defects that may lead to failure of fertilization in standard IVF.In the last 15years wer performed extensive studies on relationship between sperm functions and fertilization rates by logistic regression analysis in large numbers of IVF patients including 370 patients with zero fertilization rate by IVF.We confirmed sperm morphology assessed strictly was strongly related to fertilisation rate with standard IVF.Thus sperm morphology assessment is very useful for selection of patients for ICSI.We also developed a number of new tests including sperm-ZP binding,sperm-ZP penetration and the ZP-induced AR and evaluated the clinical value of these tests.Sperm-ZP binding and sperm-ZP penetration tests are the most powerful indicators for sperm fertilizing ability in vitro.The ZP-induced AR is highly correlated with sperm-ZP peretration.We discovered a condition we call disordered ZP-induced AR which causes serve infertility in up to 25% men with otherwise idiopathic infertility In conclusion,the combination of semen analysis with advanced sperm function tests provide important diagnostic and prognostic information for male infertility and is crucial for selection of patients for treatment with IVF or ICSI.D.Y. 2Strengthening mechanisms in magnesium alloys containing ternary Ⅰ,W and LPSO phases显示文摘This study was aimed at identifying underlying strengthening mechanisms and predicting the yield strength of as-extruded Mg-Zn-Y alloys with varying amounts of yttrium(Y) element. The addition of Y resulted in the formation of ternary I(Mg_3 YZn_6), W(Mg_3 Y_2 Zn_3) and LPSO(Mg_(12) YZn) phases which subsequently reinforced alloys ZM31 + 0.3 Y, ZM31 + 3.2 Y and ZM31 + 6 Y, where the value denoted the amount of Y element(in wt%). Yield strength of the alloys was determined via uniaxial compression testing, and grain size and second-phase particles were characterized using OM and SEM. In-situ high-temperature XRD was performed to determine the coefficient of thermal expansion(CTE), which was derived to be 1.38 × 10^(-5 K^(-1) and 2.35 × 10^(-5) K^(-1) for W and LPSO phases, respectively. The individual strengthening effects in each material were quantified for the first time, including grain refinement, Orowan looping, thermal mismatch, dislocation density, load-bearing, and particle shearing contributions. Grain refinement was one of the major strengthening mechanisms and it was present in all the alloys studied,irrespective of the second-phase particles. Orowan looping and CTE mismatch were the predominant strengthening mechanisms in the ZM31 + 0.3 Y and ZM31 + 3.2 Y alloys containing I and W phases, respectively, while load-bearing and second-phase shearing were the salient mechanisms contributing largely to the superior yield strength of the LPSO-reinforced ZM31 + 6 Y alloy.N.Tahreen D.F. 3TCP performance evaluation over AODV and DSDV in RW and SN mobility models显示文摘This paper presents evaluation and comparison of the TCP performance in different mobile scenarios generated by Random Waypoint (RW) and Social Network (SN) mobility models. To our knowledge, TCP performance in SN mobility is discussed for the first time. The impact of AODV and DSDV routing protocols on the TCP goodput, delay and drop rate per- formance is also discussed. Extensive simulation results and analysis showed that TCP has better performance over AODV than over DSDV and has more stable performance in SN mobility than in RW mobility. We suggest using more mobility models, in particular, such as SN, in the evaluations of the transport layer or routing layer protocols because the mobility patterns have impacts on the protocol performance.REN Wei YEUNG D.Y. 6MICROSTRUCTURAL STUDY OF Fe-Cr-Al/Al COMPOSITE COATINGS DURING OXIDATION AND SULFIDATION AT 900℃显示文摘The microstructure of a composite coating system,which was composed of an inner layer of Fe-Cr-Al and an outer layer of aluminum,was studied after it was respectively oxidized and sulfurdized at elevated temperatures. Apart from the Al2O3 scale formed on the surface,the microstructure of the composite coatings exposed at 900℃ in air for 4h was a three-layer structure. The first layer consisted of a solid solution of Cr and Fe in α aluminum and an intermetallic compound FeAl3,while the second layer was a single phase of the aluminide and the third layer still remained the same appearance as the original Fe-Cr-Al coating. The microstructural observation of the specimen tested at 850-900℃ at low oxygen pressure and high sulfur pressure for 576h revealed that the surface coatings of the specimen had transformed into a duplex structure containing an outer layer and a thicker aluminide layer beneath. X-ray diffraction results showed that the out layer was composed of Al2S3 and Al2O3 and that AlCrFe2 was the main phase composition of the aluminide layer,with a few of Al2S3 and Al2O3 accompanied.Z.L. 8NON-EQUILIBRIUM SOLUTE SEGREGATION TO AUSTENITIC GRAIN BOUNDARY IN FERRUM-NICKLE ALLOY显示文摘The development of non-equilibrium segregation of boron at grain boundaries in Fe-4 0%Ni alloy during continuous cooling process was experimentally observed with boron Particle Tracking Autoradiography (PTA) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM,). The samples with 10ppm boron were cooled at 2℃/s to 1040, 980, 920, 860, 780 and 640℃ respectively after pre-heat treatment of 1150℃ for 15mm with a Gleeble-1500 heat simulating machine, then water quenched to room temperature. The width of segregation layer and boron depletion zone, rich factor and other parameters were measured by a special image analysis system. The experimental results of PTA show that the grain boundary segregation of boron during cooling process is a dynamic process and the development of the non-equilibrium segregation experiences three stages: first increases rapidly from 1150 to 1040℃, then gently from 1040 to 860℃, and rapidly again from 860℃ to 640℃. The width of boron depletion zone increases from about 11μm at 1040℃ to 26μm at 640℃. TEM observation shows that boron precipitates exist at grain boundaries when the samples are cooled to below 860℃. The experimental phenomena are briefly discussed.P. Wu, D.Y. Yu and X.L. 10Structure and Magnetic Properties of S-doped Mn_3O_4/S Composited Nanoparticles and Mn_3O_4 Nanoparticles显示文摘Composited nanoparticles,consisting of Mn3O4,S-doped Mn3O4 and S,were synthesized by co-precipitation reaction and Mn3O4 nanoparticles were then obtained after removing the pure S from the composited nanoparticles.The Mn3O4-type phase with larger lattice constant a was formed by doping sulfur.At fixed temperatures below Curie temperature(TC),the magnetization of the S-doped Mn3O4/S composited nanoparticles was smaller than that of the Mn3O4 nanoparticles.The blocking temperature was 36.3 and 34.8 K for Sdoped Mn3O4/S composite and Mn3O4 nanoparticles,respectively.The anisotropy field of S-doped Mn3O4/S composite was determined to be about 55.3 kOe.X. 11A STUDY OF ELECTROCHEMICAL BEHAVIOUR OF VARIOUS THERMAL HISTORY ZONES AND DIFFERENT PHASE STRUCTURES ON THE WELDMENT FOR LOW ALLOY STEEL 16Mn IN NITRAfE SOLUTION显示文摘The electrochemical behaviour, including free corrosion potential, free corrosion current density and polarization curve, of various thermal history zones on the weldment was measured in this paper. The weldment consisted of matrix, tempering zone. incomplete normalized zone, normalized zone, overtemperature zone, fusion line zone and weld metal zone. The electrochemical behaviour of the ferrite, pearlite and mixed structure in various zones have successfully measured. The results showed that there was a difference of free corrosion potential which is smaller than ca. 200mV between various zones and about 20-150mV potential difference between ferrite and pearlite in every zone. The free cormsion potential of fusion line zone was the most negative between various zones. The free corrosion potential of pearlite was some dozens mV more negative than ferrite.
