1Strengthening mechanisms in magnesium alloys containing ternary Ⅰ,W and LPSO phases显示文摘This study was aimed at identifying underlying strengthening mechanisms and predicting the yield strength of as-extruded Mg-Zn-Y alloys with varying amounts of yttrium(Y) element. The addition of Y resulted in the formation of ternary I(Mg_3 YZn_6), W(Mg_3 Y_2 Zn_3) and LPSO(Mg_(12) YZn) phases which subsequently reinforced alloys ZM31 + 0.3 Y, ZM31 + 3.2 Y and ZM31 + 6 Y, where the value denoted the amount of Y element(in wt%). Yield strength of the alloys was determined via uniaxial compression testing, and grain size and second-phase particles were characterized using OM and SEM. In-situ high-temperature XRD was performed to determine the coefficient of thermal expansion(CTE), which was derived to be 1.38 × 10^(-5 K^(-1) and 2.35 × 10^(-5) K^(-1) for W and LPSO phases, respectively. The individual strengthening effects in each material were quantified for the first time, including grain refinement, Orowan looping, thermal mismatch, dislocation density, load-bearing, and particle shearing contributions. Grain refinement was one of the major strengthening mechanisms and it was present in all the alloys studied,irrespective of the second-phase particles. Orowan looping and CTE mismatch were the predominant strengthening mechanisms in the ZM31 + 0.3 Y and ZM31 + 3.2 Y alloys containing I and W phases, respectively, while load-bearing and second-phase shearing were the salient mechanisms contributing largely to the superior yield strength of the LPSO-reinforced ZM31 + 6 Y alloy.N.Tahreen D.F. 3两性绵霉菌生物量生产的营养需求和发酵条件的研究显示文摘对两性绵霉菌(Achlya ambisexualis)生长所需的大量元素和微量元素进行了调查,在PYG培养基础上研制出ZJK培养基.两性绵霉菌在ZJK液体培养基中的倍增时间为3.5小时,产生的生物量约5.5g/L,为PYG的3倍,体积生产率为0.073g/(L·h),为PYG的2倍.最适生长温度为29℃.最适pH为6.5,pH8时孢子萌发被完全抑制.采用pH6.5控制的生物量培养,碳素和氮素转化率明显提高,分别为47.1%和64.8%,体积生产率比非pH控制的分批培养提高50%.在20L发酵罐中,生长稳定期的氧摄取速率为7.0-8.8mol/(L·h).采用分批补料发酵法,生物量达到15g/L.张先恩 Joncs A. 8A genome-wide survey of maize lipid-related genes: candidate genes mining,digital gene expression profiling and colocation with QTL for maize kernel oil显示文摘Lipids play an important role in plants due to their abundance and their extensive participation in many metabolic processes.Genes involved in lipid metabolism have been extensively studied in Arabidopsis and other plant species.In this study,a total of 1003 maize lipid-related genes were cloned and annotated,including 42 genes with experimental validation,732 genes with full-length cDNA and protein sequences in public databases and 229 newly cloned genes.Ninety-seven maize lipid-related genes with tissue-preferential expression were discovered by in silico gene expression profiling based on 1984483 maize Expressed Sequence Tags collected from 182 cDNA libraries.Meanwhile,70 QTL clusters for maize kernel oil were identified,covering 34.5% of the maize genome.Fifty-nine (84%) QTL clusters co-located with at least one lipid-related gene,and the total number of these genes amounted to 147.Interestingly,thirteen genes with kernel-preferential expression profiles fell within QTL clusters for maize kernel oil content.All the maize lipid-related genes identified here may provide good targets for maize kernel oil QTL cloning and thus help us to better understand the molecular mechanism of maize kernel oil accumulation.LI Lin1,LI Hui1,LI JiYing1,XU ShuTu1,YANG XiaoHong1,LI JianSheng1 & YAN JianBing1,2 1National Maize Improvement Centre of China,China Agricultural University,Beijing 100193,China 2International Maize and Wheat Improvement Centre (CIMMYT),Apdo.Postal 6-641,06600 Mexico,D.F.,Mexico 2010Science China(Life Sciences)2010,53,6:2

12EFFECT OF Si CONTENT ON ORDERING DEGREE AND ELECTROMAGNETIC CHARACTERISTICS IN FeSiAl ALLOYS显示文摘FeSiAl alloys ribbons synthesized by melt-quench were annealed in vacuum at 873 K for 60 min.The flaky powders were prepared by milling the annealed ribbons for 70 h.After milling,the powders were heat treated at 573 K for 90 min.The order- ing degree of the powders lattice structure was analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The measurement of specific saturation magnetization was carried out by vibrating samples magnetometer (VSM).Complex permittivity and complex permeability in the frequency band of 0.5-18 GHz were measured with the vector network analyzer.The ordering degree of the superlattice structure increased from 0.27 to 0.49.Complex permittivity and complex permeability decreased with increasing Si content.After or- dering,the specific saturation magnetization decreased from 134.2 to 85.0 A·m^2·kg^(-1).
