4MICROSTRUCTURE EVALUATION OF SEMI-SOLID STEEL MATERIALS IN ROLLING PROCESS AND THE RESULTING MECHANICAL PROPERTIES显示文摘The experimental study on the familiar 60Si2Mn and lCrl8Ni9Ti materials rolled in the semi-solid state was carried out. Experimental results show that the segregation of liquid occurs when the semi-solid slurry is rolled, which influences the microstructure and mechanics performance of workpiece under room temperature. The globular solid particles don’t present plastic deformation unless high solid fraction. 6TiZr-base Bulk Metallic Glass with over 50 mm in Diameter显示文摘Low-cost TiZr-base bulk metallic glasses(BMGs)(Ti36.1Zr33.2Ni5.8Be24.9)100-xCux(x=5,7 and 9) with a maximum size of over 50 mm in diameter were developed by optimizing the alloy composition.The idea is initiated by selecting a particular microstructure comprising primary β-Ti dendrite and amorphous phase.Afterwards,based on this composition of amorphous phase,a class of TiZr-base bulk metallic glasses was designed step by step to reach the optimum composition range.The glass transition temperature(Tg),initial crystallization temperature(Tx) and width of supercooled region(△T) of(Ti36.1Zr33.2Ni5.8Be24.9)91Cu9 BMG are 611,655 and 44 K,respectively.The(Ti36.1Zr33.2Ni5.8Be24.9)91Cu9 BMG exhibits low density of 5.541 g·cm-3 and high compressive fracture strength of 1800 MPa,which promises the potential application as structural materials.M. 7THE APPARENT VISCOSITY OF SEMI-SOLID AZ91D ALLOY AT STEADY STATE显示文摘The Rheological behavior of semi-solid AZ91D at steady state is studied using a Couettetype viscometer in the present paper. The results show that the apparent viscosity ofsemi-solid AZ91D at the steady state increases with the solid fraction increasing, andgoes up sharply when the solid fraction reaches a certain value, which is called criticalfraction. In addition, the apparent viscosity of semi-solid AZ91D at the steady statetakes on a distinct downtrend with the shearing rate increasing, which indicates astrong shear thinning property. 8State of the Art on Micromilling of Materials,a Review显示文摘The trend towards miniaturization has increased dramatically over the last decade, especially within the fields concerned with bioengineering, microelectronics, and aerospace. Micromilling is among the principal manufacturing processes which have allowed the development of components possessing micrometric dimensions, being used to the manufacture of both forming tools and the final product. The aim of this work is to present the principal aspects related to this technology, with emphasis on the work material requirements, tool materials and geometry, cutting forces and temperature, quality of the finished product, process modelling and monitoring and machine tool requirements. It can be noticed that size effect possesses a relevant role with regard to the selection of both work material (grain size) and tooling (edge radius). Low forces and temperature are recorded during micromilling, however, the specific cutting force may reach high values because of the ploughing effect observed as the uncut chip thickness is reduced. 13PREPARATION STUDY OF SEMI-SOLID 60Si2Mn SPRING STEEL SLURRY显示文摘The nondendritic semi-solid slurry preparation of 60Si2Mn spring steel is studied in this paper. The experiments show that when stirred for 2 minutes under the test condition, the semi-solid slurry with 50%-60% fraction solid phase and spherical primary austenite in the size of 100-300μm can be obtained and is easy to be discharged from the little bottom hole of the stirring chamber. The more homogeneous temperature field and solute distribution of the 60Si2Mn spring steel melt appear because of the electromagnetic stirring, which restrains the formation of large primary austenitic dendrites and create a base to form spheroidized structure. The stronger temperature fluctuation in the melt with many rosette primary austenites caused by stirring and the remelting of the secondary arm roots in the same time are the most important reasons for deposition of spheroidized primary austenites.W.M. 14Characterization and separation of pyrite from Abu Tartur black shale显示文摘This work aimed for pyrite separation from Abu Tartur black shale as a source of sulfur to be an added economic value of Abu Tartur area. The considered samples in the present work were collected from a core drilled in Abu Tartur plateau representing the pyrite-rich black shale of the U. Cretaceous age.Sample characterization was carried out using petrographic microscope, XRD, DTA/DTG, C/S and XRF techniques. Clay minerals, silt-sized quartz, calcite, and hematite were the main minerals associating pyrite(5.34%). Liberation behavior of the sample was about 80% below 5 lm.Sample processing was achieved through one-day soaking followed by classification using 1 inch Mozley hydro-cyclone where about 35.5% by weight went to underflow and 64.5% went to overflow.The underflow product was subjected to an advanced gravity separation process using SB-40 Falcon Concentrator through a CCD statistical design prepared by Design-Expert 6.0 software proposed to optimize the separation process through a study for the effects of frequency(Hz) and water pressure(Psi) on both assay and recovery of the sulfur-rich heavy fraction.A heavy concentrate weighed 10.90% with inorganic sulfur content reached 11.37%(21.24% pyrite) with overall recovery(50.01%) was obtained after two cleaning at the optimum conditions.Ibrahim S.S. 15Effect of Electroplating Parameters on Microstructure of Nanocrystalline Nickel Coatings显示文摘In order to achieve the optimum conditions for electroplating nanocrystalline nickel coating from Watts-type bath, the effect of some process parameters namely, bath temperature, current density, and saccharin addition on grain size and texture coefficient (TC= I(200)/I(111)) of the deposits were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The results showed that in a bath containing 5 g/L saccharin, by increasing the bath temperature from 45°C to 55°C, the grain size decreased, whereas further increase of bath temperature resulted in a contrary effect. By increasing the current density from 10 to 75 mA/cm2, both the grain size and TC decreased, while further increase in current density had no significant effect on the grain size. At a given current density, the grain size and TC decreased rapidly by increasing the saccharin content before leveling off at 3 g/L of saccharin. Finally, based on the grain refining the optimum conditions for producing nanocrystalline nickel coating from Watts-type bath have been proposed.A.M. Rashidi A. 16Use and application of CFC-11,CFC-12,CFC-113 and SF6 as environmental tracers of groundwater residence time:A review显示文摘Groundwater residence time is a fundamental property of groundwater to understand important hydrogeological issues,such as deriving sustainable abstraction volumes,or,the evolution of groundwater quality.The anthropogenic trace gases chlorofluorocarbons (CFC-11,CFC-12 and CFC-113) and sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) are ideal in this regard because they have been released globally at known rates and become dissolved in groundwater following Henry’s Law,integrating over large spatial (global) and temporal (decades) scales.The CFCs and SF6 are able to date groundwater up to w100 years old with the caveat of certain simplifying assumptions.However,the inversion of environmental tracer concentrations (CFCs and SF6) to derive groundwater age rests on the accurate determination of groundwater recharge parameters,namely temperature,elevation,salinity and excess air,in addition to resolving the potential for contamination,degradation and unsaturated zone effects.This review explores the fundamentals of CFC-11,CFC-12,CFC-113 and SF6 as environmental tracers of groundwater age and recommends complementary techniques throughout.Once this relatively simple and inexpensive technique has been used to determine initial concentrations at the recharge zone,setting the groundwater dating ‘clock’ to zero,this review then explores the meaning of groundwater ‘age’ in relation to measured environmental tracer concentrations.It is shown that the CFCs and SF6 may be applied to a wide-range of hydrogeological problems and suggests that environmental tracers are particularly powerful tools when integrated with numerical flow and transport models.L.A. 17对乙酰氨基酚引起的急性肝衰竭:一项美国多中心前瞻性研究结果显示文摘Severe acetaminophen hepatotoxicity frequently leads to acute liver failure (ALF). We determined the incidence, risk factors, and outcomes of acetaminophen- induced ALF at 22 tertiary care centers in the United States. Detailed prospective data were gathered on 662 consecutive patients over a 6- year period fulfilling standard criteria for ALF (coagulopathy and encephalopathy), from which 275 (42% )were determined to result from acetaminophen liver injury. The annual percentage of acetaminophen-related ALF rose during the study from 28% in 1998 to 51% in 2003. Median dose ingested was 24 g (equivalent to 48 extra-strength tablets). Unintentional overdoses accounted for 131 (48% ) cases, intentional (suicide attempts) 122 (44% ), and 22 (8% ) were of unknown intent. In the unintentional group, 38% took two or more acetaminophen preparations simultaneously, and 63% used narcotic-containing compounds. Eighty-one percent of unintentional patients reported taking acetaminophen and/or other analgesics for acute or chronic pain syndromes. Overall, 178 subjects (65% ) survived, 74 (27% ) died without transplantation, and 23 subjects (8% ) underwent liver transplantation; 71% were alive at 3 weeks. Transplant free survival rate and rate of liver transplantation were similar between intentional and unintentional groups. In conclusion, acetaminophen hepatotoxicity far exceeds other causes of acute liver failure in the United States. Susceptible patients have concomitant depression, chronic pain, alcohol or narcotic use, and/or take several preparations simultaneously. 19点青霉MH1发酵热稳定性外切菊粉酶的培养基优化及酶学性质研究显示文摘为了分离出热稳定性胞外菊粉酶产生菌,并使菊粉酶的生产、产酶最大化以及分析其酶学性质,进行了本实验。实验结果表明:1株产外切β-D-果糖转化酶的点青霉从菊芋生长的环境中被分离,并经过诱变命名为点青霉(Penicilliumnotatum)MH1。采用半部分因子设计和中心组合设计对影响菊粉酶生产的培养基组成中主要因子进行了优化,得到一最优培养基组成(g/L):菊芋粉24,牛肉膏5,酵母膏1,豆饼粉1,KH2PO43,MgSO4·7H2O0.2,初始pH3.5。优化试验结果显示:在34℃、200r/min摇床转速下培养48h,采用优化的培养基发酵生产得到的最大菊粉酶活力为32.46U/mL。对酶的部分性质进行了研究,其最适pH为4.2,酶在pH3~7具有反应活性,最适作用温度为55℃。粗酶液经过硫酸铵分级盐析,其适宜的盐析饱和度为20%~58%,盐析后酶液通过DEAE-纤维素DE52和SephadexG-100柱层析,纯化后得到的酶采用SDS-PAGE检测分析,结果显示该酶的分子质量为(108±1)KDa。何国庆 Mokhtar A.M. 陈启和 汤兴俊 2006中国食品学报2006,6,3:5
20不饱和有机酸在Pt-Rh合金电极上的吸附动力学显示文摘采用快速动电位扫描方法 ,系统地研究了吸附时间、溶液浓度、温度、吸附电位等因素对在不同组成的Pt-Rh电极上不饱和有机酸吸附过程的影响 .研究结果表明 ,在中等表面覆盖率下 ,所研究的不饱和有机酸在Pt-Rh合金电极上吸附速率都遵循Rogynski-Zilidowicz方程 ,Pt电极上吸附速率最大 ,从Pt电极向Rh电极过渡中 ,吸附速率下降 2 0~ 30倍 .温度升高吸附速率加快 .丙烯酸在Pt-Rh电极表面的吸附速率比其他不饱和有机酸高 ,并按丙烯酸 >丁烯酸 >贾梦秋 徐春艳 薛传薪 MERECKII A.M. 2001化工学报2001,52,5:5
