1A direct H2O2 production based on hollow porous carbon sphere-sulfur nanocrystal composites by confinement effect as oxygen reduction electrocatalysts显示文摘Carbon-sulfur composites have draw n in creasing interest in various fields including electrocatalysis because of their unique structures.However,carb on-sulfur composite with tiny sulfur nano crystals has still received little attention.Herein,hollow porous carb on sphere-sulfur composite(HPCS-S)which possesses excellent electrochemical performance towards H2O2 has been prepared for the first time via a simple silica template method.The 2-5 nm sulfur nan ocrystals being restricted in the cha nnel of the hollow porous carb on spheres are un der a strong compressive stress,which was further con firmed by high-resoluti on tran smissi on electr on microscopy(HRTEM)and GPA.The HPCS-S nano crystals show better con ductivity tha n amorphous sulfur clusters because of the reducti on of the steric hindrance which efficie ntly promotes the electron transportation.Consequently,the higher activity and selectivity towards the 2e^oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)to H2O2 in alkaline solution was obtained.The H2O2 selectivity rises from 20%to over 70%after the sulfur addition and the H2O2 production rate achieves 183.99 mmol-gcataiyst-1 with the Faradaic efficiency of 70%.Furthermore,performance enhancement mechanism was also investigated using the den sity functional theory(DFT)calculatio ns.After the in troduci ng of sulfur nano crystals,the appeara nee of S-S bond greatly decreases the overpotential compared with S-doping,which results in significant enhancement of the electrocatalytic property.Consequently,the HPCS-S can be an efficient H2O2 production electrocatalyst in alkaline solution.Guanyu Chen Jiwei Liu Qingqing Li Pengfei Guan Xuefeng Yu Linshen Xing Jie Zhang Renchao Che 2019Nano Research2019,12,10:6
2Microwave ablation of primary breast cancer inhibits metastatic progression in model mice via activation of natural killer cells显示文摘Surgery is essential for controlling the symptoms and complications of stage IV breast cancer.However,locoregional treatment of primary tumors often results in distant progression,including lung metastasis,the most common type of visceral metastasis.As a minimally invasive thermal therapy,microwave ablation(MWA)has been attempted in the treatment of breast cancer,but the innate immune response after MWA has not yet been reported.Using two murine models of stage IV breast cancer,we found that MWA of primary breast cancer inhibited the progression of lung metastasis and improved survival.NK cells were activated after MWA of the primary tumor and exhibited enhanced cytotoxic functions,and the cytotoxic pathways of NK cells were activated.Depletion experiments showed that NK cells but not CD4+or CD8+T cells played a pivotal role in prolonging survival.Then,we found that compared with surgery or control treatment,MWA of the primary tumor induced completely different NK-cell-related cytokine profiles.Macrophages were activated after MWA of the primary tumor and produced IL-15 that activated NK cells to inhibit the progression of metastasis.In addition,MWA of human breast cancer stimulated an autologous NK-cell response.These results demonstrate that MWA of the primary tumor in metastatic breast cancer inhibits metastatic progression via the macrophage/IL-15/NK-cell axis.MWA of the primary tumor may be a promising treatment strategy for de novo stage IV breast cancer,although further substantiation is essential for clinical testing.Muxin Yu Hong Pan Nan Che Li Li Cong Wang Yue Wang Ge Ma Mengjia Qian Jiawei Liu Mingjie Zheng Hui Xie Lijun Ling Yi Zhao Xiaoxiang Guan Qiang Ding Wenbin Zhou Shui Wang 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,9:5
3ZnO-based micromotors fueled by CO_(2):the first example of self-reorientation-induced biomimetic chemotaxis显示文摘Synthetic chemotactic micro/nanomotors are envisioned to actively‘seek out’targets by following specific chemicals,but they are mainly powered by bioincompatible fuels and only show pseudochemotaxis(or advanced chemokinesis)due to their weak self-reorientation capabilities.Here we demonstrate that synthetic ZnO-based Janus micromotors can be powered by the alternative biocompatible fuel of C0_(2);and further provide the first example of self-reorientation-induced biomimetic chemotaxis using them.The ZnO-based micromotors are highly sensitive to dissolved C0_(2) in water,which enables the corrosion of ZnO to continuously occur by providing H+through hydration.Thus,they can autonomously move even in water exposed to air based on self-diffusiophoresis.Furthermore,they can sense the local C0_(2) gradient and perform positive chemotaxis by self-reorientations under the phoretic torque.Our discovery opens a gate to developing intelligent micro/nanomotors powered by,and sensitive to,biocompatible atmospheric or endogenous gaseous chemicals for biomedical and environmental applications.Fangzhi Mou Qi Xie Jianfeng Liu Shengping Che Lamya Bahmane Ming You Jianguo Guan 2021National Science Review2021,8,11:3

5Protective electrode/electrolyte interphases for high energy lithium-ion batteries with p-toluenesulfonyl fluoride electrolyte additive显示文摘High energy density lithium-ion batteries using Ni-rich cathode(such as LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2) suffer from severe capacity decay.P-toluenesulfonyl fluoride(pTSF) has been investigated as a novel film-forming electrolyte additive to enhance the cycling performances of graphite/LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 pouch cell.In comparison with the baseline electrolyte,a small dose of pTSF can significantly improve the cyclic stability of the cell.Theoretical calculations together with experimental results indicate that pTSF would be oxidized and reduced to construct protective interphase film on the surfaces of LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 cathode and graphite anode,respectively.These S-containing surface films derived from pTSF effectively mitigate the decomposition of electrolyte,reduce the interphasial impedance,as well as prevent the dissolution of transition metal ions from Ni-rich cathode upon cycling at high voltage.This finding is beneficial for the practical application of high energy density graphite/LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 cells.Yanxia Che Xiuyi Lin Lidan Xing Xiongcong Guan Rude Guo Guangyuan Lan Qinfeng Zheng Wenguang Zhang Weishan Li 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,1:3

18Heat shock protein 70-2 and tumor necrosis factor-α gene polymorphisms in Chinese children with Henoch- Schönlein purpura显示文摘Background:Henoch-Schönlein purpura(HSP)or IgAassociated vasculitis is related to immune disturbances.Polymorphisms of the heat shock protein 70-2 gene(HSP70-2)and the tumor necrosis factor-αgene(TNF-α)are known to be associated with immune diseases.The purpose of this study was to investigate the likely association of HSP70-2(+1267A/G)and TNF-α(+308A/G)gene polymorphisms with HSP in children.Methods:The polymerase chain reaction restriction fragment length polymorphism method was used to detect the HSP70-2 and TNF-αpolymorphisms in 205 cases of children with HSP and 53 controls;and the association of these polymorphisms with HSP and HSP nephritis(HSPN)was analyzed.Results:The G/G genotypic frequencies at the+1267A/G position of HSP70-2 in the HSP group(22.9%)were signifi cantly higher than those in the healthy control group(9.4%)(χ^(2)=4.764,P<0.05).The frequencies of the A/A,A/G and G/G genotypes of HSP70-2 in patients in the nephritis-free group and the HSPN group showed no statistically significant difference.The A/A genotype frequency at the+308G/A position of TNF-αin the HSP group was 8.3%,which was higher than that in the control group(χ^(2)=6.447,P<0.05).The A allele frequency of TNF-αin the HSP group was higher than that in the control group,with a statistically significant difference(χ^(2)=7.241,P<0.05).Conclusions:The HSP70-2(+1267A/G)and TNF-α(+308G/A)gene polymorphisms were associated with HSP in children.The G/G homozygosity of HSP70-2 and the A/A homozygosity of TNF-αmay be genetic predisposing factors for HSP.Gui-Xia Ding Chen-Hu Wang Ruo-Chen Che Wan-Zhen Guan Yang-Gang Yuan Min Su Ai-Hua Zhang Song-Ming Huang 2016World Journal of Pediatrics2016,12,1:1

20Surface wave simulation during winter with sea ice in the Bohai Sea显示文摘Sea ice can attenuate wave energy significantly when waves propagate through ice covers.In this study,a third-generation wave model called simulating wave nearshore(SWAN)was advanced to include damping of wave energy due to friction in the boundary layer below the ice.With the addition of an eddy viscosity wave-ice model,the resulting new SWAN model was applied to simulate wave height in the Bohai Sea during the freezing winter.Its performance was validated with available buoy data near the ice edge,and the new model showed an improvement in accuracy because it considered the ice effect on waves.We then performed a wave hindcast for the Bohai Sea during a freezing period in the winter of 2016 that had the severest ice conditions in recent years and found that the mean significant wave height changed by approximately 16.52%.In the Liaodong Bay,where sea ice concentration is highest,the change reached 32.57%,compared with the most recent SWAN model version.The average influence of sea ice on wave height simulation was also evaluated over a five-year(2013-2017)hindcast during January and February.We found that the wave height decrease was more significant in storm conditions even the eddy viscosity wave-ice model itself showed no advantage on damping stronger waves.YUE Che LI Jingkai GUAN Changlong LIAN Xihu WU Kejian 2019Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2019,37,6:0
