3Nonreciprocal unconventional photon blockade in a spinning optomechanical system显示文摘We propose how to achieve quantum nonreciprocity via unconventional photon blockade(UPB) in a compound device consisting of an optical harmonic resonator and a spinning optomechanical resonator. We show that, even with very weak single-photon nonlinearity, nonreciprocal UPB can emerge in this system, i.e., strong photon antibunching can emerge only by driving the device from one side but not from the other side. This nonreciprocity results from the Fizeau drag, leading to different splitting of the resonance frequencies for the optical counter-circulating modes. 4Ecological environment quality evaluation of the Sahel region in Africa based on remote sensing ecological index显示文摘Long-term monitoring of the ecological environment changes is helpful for the protection of the ecological environment.Based on the ecological environment of the Sahel region in Africa,we established a remote sensing ecological index(RSEI)model for this region by combining dryness,moisture,greenness,and desertification indicators.Using the Moderate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)data in Google Earth Engine(GEE)platform,this study analyzed the ecological environment quality of the Sahel region during the period of 2001-2020.We used liner regression and fluctuation analysis methods to study the trend and fluctuation of RSEI,and utilized the stepwise regression approach to analyze the contribution of each indicator to the RSEI.Further,the correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between RSEI and precipitation,and Hurst index was applied to evaluate the change trend of RSEI in the future.The results show that RSEI of the Sahel region exhibited spatial heterogeneity.Specifically,it exhibited a decrease in gradient from south to north of the Sahel region.Moreover,RSEI in parts of the Sahel region presented non-zonal features.Different land-cover types demonstrated different RSEI values and changing trends.We found that RSEI and precipitation were positively correlated,suggesting that precipitation is the controlling factor of RSEI.The areas where RSEI values presented an increasing trend were slightly less than the areas where RSEI values presented a decreasing trend.In the Sahel region,the areas with the ecological environment characterized by continuous deterioration and continuous improvement accounted for 44.02%and 28.29%of the total study area,respectively,and the areas in which the ecological environment was changing from improvement to deterioration and from deterioration to improvement accounted for 12.42%and 15.26%of the whole area,respectively.In the face of the current ecological environment and future change trends of RSEI in the Sahel region,the research results provide a reference for the construction of the'Green Great Wall'(GGW)ecological environment project in Africa.WU Shupu GAO Xin LEI Jiaqiang ZHOU Na GUO Zengkun SHANG Baijun 2022Journal of Arid Land2022,14,1:8

6Comparison of efficacy, safety, and quality of life between sorafenib and sunitinib as first.line therapy for Chinese patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma显示文摘Background: Sorafenib and sunitinib are widely used as first-line targeted therapy for metastatic renal cell carcinoma(mRCC) in China.This study aimed to compare the efficacy, safety, and quality of life(QoL) in Chinese mRCC patients treated with sorafenib and sunitinib as first-line therapy.Methods: Clinical data of patients with mRCC who received sorafenib(400 mg twice daily; 4 weeks) or sunitinib(50 mg twice daily; on a schedule of 4 weeks on treatment followed by 2 weeks off) were retrieved. Primary outcomes were overall survival(OS), progression-free survival(PFS), adverse events(AEs), and QoL(SF-36 scores), and secondary outcomes were associations of clinical characteristics with QoL.Results: Medical records of 184 patients(110 in the sorafenib group and 74 in the sunitinib group) were reviewed.PFS and OS were comparable between the sorafenib and sunitinib groups(both P > 0.05).The occurrence rates of leukocytopenia, thrombocytopenia, and hypothyroidism were higher in the sunitinib group(36.5% vs. 10.9%,P< 0.001; 40.5% vs. 10.9%, P < 0.001; 17.6% vs. 3.6%, P = 0.001), and that of diarrhea was higher in the sorafenib group(62.7% vs. 35.2%, P < 0.001). There was no significant difference in SF-36 scores between the two groups. Multivariate analysis indicated that role-physical and bodily pain scores were associated with the occurrence rate of grade 3 or 4 AEs(P = 0.017 and 0.005).Conclusions: Sorafenib has comparable efficacy and lower toxicity profile than sunitinib as first-line therapy for mRCC. 7LSD1 inhibition suppresses the growth of clear cell renal cell carcinoma via upregulating P21signaling显示文摘Histone lysine-specific demethylase 1(LSD1) has been implicated in the disease progression of several types of solid tumors. This study provides the first evidence showing that LSD1 overexpression occurred in 62.6%(224/358) of clear cell renal cell carcinomas(ccRCC). LSD1 expression was associated with the progression of ccRCC, as indicated by TNM stage(P ? 0.006), especially tumor stage(P ? 0.017) and lymph node metastasis(P ? 0.030). High LSD1 expression proved to be an independent prognostic factor for poor overall survival(Po0.001) and recurrence-free survival(Po0.001) of ccRCC patients. We further show that LSD1 inhibition by siRNA knockdown or using the small molecule inhibitor SP2509 suppressed the growth of ccRCC in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, inhibition of LSD1 decreased the H3 K4 demethylation at the CDKN1 A gene promoter, which was associated with P21 upregulation and cell cycle arrest at G1/S in ccRCC cells. 8Impact of gas pressure on particle feature in Fe-based amorphous alloy powders via gas atomization:Simulation and experiment显示文摘Gas atomization is now an important production technique for Fe-based amorphous alloy powders used in additive manufacturing,particularly selective laser melting,fabricating large-sized Fe-based bulk metallic glasses.Using the realizable k-εmodel and discrete phase model theory,the flow dynamics of the gas phase and gas-melt two-phase flow felds in the close-wake condition were investigated to establish the correlation between high gas pressure and powder particle characteristics.The locations of the recirculation zones and the shapes of Mach disks were analyzed in detail for the type of discrete-jet closed-coupled gas atomization nozzle.In the gas-phase flow feld,the vortexes,closed to the Mach disk,are found to be a new deceleration method.In the two-phase flow feld,the shape of Mach disk changes from“S”-shape to“Z”-shape under the impact of the droplet flow.As predicted by the wave model,with the elevation of gas pressure,the size of the particle is found to gradually decrease and its distribution becomes more concentrated.Simulation results were compliant with the Fe-based amorphous alloy powder preparation tests.This study deepens the understanding of the gas pressure impacting particle features via gas atomization,and contributes to technological applications.Yutong Shi Weiyan Lu Wenhai Sun Suode Zhang Baijun Yang Jianqiang Wang 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,10:4
9Clinical observations on the treatment of infantile hemangiomas with topical imiquimod 5% cream显示文摘Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of topical imiquimod 5% cream in the treatment of uncomplicated infantile hemangiomas (IHs). Methods:A total of 68 IHs were treated with topical imiquimod 5% cream. Among them,36 were superficial,22 were mixed,and 10 were deep. The size of IHs ranged from 1.0 cm × 1.5 cm to an area of a whole forearm. All the hemangiomas were in a proliferative stage. Imiquimod was applied 3 times weekly in 44 patients and 5 times weekly in 24 patients for up to 36 weeks. Results:All superficial IHs improved,and 18 achieved complete clinical resolution,10 had excellent improvement,5 showed moderate improvements,and 3 patients displayed minimal improvement. Two mixed IHs showed excellent improvement,3 showed moderate improvement and 5 mani-fested minimal improvements. The remaining 12 mixed IHs and all deep IHs did not respond to the therapy. The total incidence of local adverse events was 58.82%(40/68),which included erythema or edema,local itching,incrustation or peeling,erosion or ulceration,although most of these were mild to moderate reactions and did not affect the treatment. Scarring occurred in 2 mixed IHs. No systemic side effects developed. Conclusion:Imiquimod 5% cream may be a safe and effective alternative for the treatment of superficial IHs and some mixed IHs in which the superficial component predominates. An appropriate treatment duration for proliferative IHs treated with this therapy may be 24 weeks. Some local adverse events,such as crusting and erosion with possible scarring potential may occur and should be addressed by prompt,but temporary,discontinuation of the imiquimod. Topical imiquimod 5% cream can be prudently used in the treatment of IHs larger than 5.0 cm×5.0 cm in newborns and infants less than 6 months of age. 10Synthesis of ITQ-2 zeolite under static conditions and its properties显示文摘Using silica gel as the precursor, MCM-22(p) was synthesized under the static conditions. Then ITQ-2 zeolite was obtained by using n-cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and tetrapro- pylammonium hydroxide (TPAOH) as the swelling agents to swell the pores of MCM-22(p). The ob- tained zeolite was characterized by XRD, SEM, BET, NH3-TPD. The results show that the zeolite had the best swelling when MCM-22(p):CTAB:TPAOH=1:4:1. The synthesis duration and temperature did not influence significantly the pore swelling. Except TPAOH, CTAB can also be used together with tetrabuthylammonium hydroxide (TBAOH) as the pore swelling agent. There was contribution of sur- face area and pore volume from the mesoporous pores in the ITQ-2 zeolite and it also showed weaker acidity than MCM-22. However, the ITQ-2 supported NiW catalyst showed higher activity and selec- tivity to the middle distillates in the hydrocracking of vacuum gasoil (VGO) than MCM-22 supported catalyst. 12An efficient algorithm for finding the largest chain graph according to a given chain graph显示文摘Chain graph (CG) is a general model of graphical Markov models. Some different chain graphs may describe the same conditional independence structure, then we say that these CGs are Markov equivalent. In 1990 Frydenberg showed that every class of Markov equivalent CGs has a CG which is called the largest chain graph with the greatest number of lines. This paper presents an efficient algorithm for finding the largest chain graph of the corresponding Markov equivalent class of a given CG. The computational complexity of the algorithm is O(n3). It is more efficient than the complexity O(n!) of the present algorithms. 13Synthesis of AIMCM-41 mesoporous molecular sieves with high stability显示文摘Mesoporous molecular sieves AlMCM-41 were synthesized by static hydrothermal crystallization using cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as template,water glass as silica source and pseudoboehmite as aluminum source.The XRD results showed that the prepared AlMCM-41 mesoporous molecular sieves had high relative crystallinity and long-range order.The relative crystallinity was greater than 27%after calcination at 900oC for 2 hours and was still greater than 14%after ageing in steam at 800oC for 2 hours.The results indicated that both thermal and hydrothermal stabilities of the mesoporous molecular sieves AlMCM-41 were good.Liu Baijun Wang Hui 2008Petroleum Science2008,5,2:2

20Bright Blue Light-emitting Diodes Based on a Novel Fluorescent Dye Containing Heterocyclic Groups显示文摘Novel molecular material, 1-benzotlliazoly-3 -phenyl --pyrazoline (BTPP) was found to function as bright blue light emitting dye in organic electroluminescent device, and its optical and electric characteristics were investigated. This heterocyclic compound exhibited good characteristics of blue photoluminescence and electroluminescence, which had the emission peak at 450 nm. The single layer light-emitting devices using BTPP as light-emitting material dispersed in poly(N- vinylcarbazole) (PVK) and double layer ones using PBD as hole block layer above the light-emitting layer were fabricated using conventional spin-casting and vaccum vapour deposition methods.
