2Nonreciprocal unconventional photon blockade in a spinning optomechanical system显示文摘We propose how to achieve quantum nonreciprocity via unconventional photon blockade(UPB) in a compound device consisting of an optical harmonic resonator and a spinning optomechanical resonator. We show that, even with very weak single-photon nonlinearity, nonreciprocal UPB can emerge in this system, i.e., strong photon antibunching can emerge only by driving the device from one side but not from the other side. This nonreciprocity results from the Fizeau drag, leading to different splitting of the resonance frequencies for the optical counter-circulating modes. 3Clinical observations on the treatment of infantile hemangiomas with topical imiquimod 5% cream显示文摘Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of topical imiquimod 5% cream in the treatment of uncomplicated infantile hemangiomas (IHs). Methods:A total of 68 IHs were treated with topical imiquimod 5% cream. Among them,36 were superficial,22 were mixed,and 10 were deep. The size of IHs ranged from 1.0 cm × 1.5 cm to an area of a whole forearm. All the hemangiomas were in a proliferative stage. Imiquimod was applied 3 times weekly in 44 patients and 5 times weekly in 24 patients for up to 36 weeks. Results:All superficial IHs improved,and 18 achieved complete clinical resolution,10 had excellent improvement,5 showed moderate improvements,and 3 patients displayed minimal improvement. Two mixed IHs showed excellent improvement,3 showed moderate improvement and 5 mani-fested minimal improvements. The remaining 12 mixed IHs and all deep IHs did not respond to the therapy. The total incidence of local adverse events was 58.82%(40/68),which included erythema or edema,local itching,incrustation or peeling,erosion or ulceration,although most of these were mild to moderate reactions and did not affect the treatment. Scarring occurred in 2 mixed IHs. No systemic side effects developed. Conclusion:Imiquimod 5% cream may be a safe and effective alternative for the treatment of superficial IHs and some mixed IHs in which the superficial component predominates. An appropriate treatment duration for proliferative IHs treated with this therapy may be 24 weeks. Some local adverse events,such as crusting and erosion with possible scarring potential may occur and should be addressed by prompt,but temporary,discontinuation of the imiquimod. Topical imiquimod 5% cream can be prudently used in the treatment of IHs larger than 5.0 cm×5.0 cm in newborns and infants less than 6 months of age. 5Bright Blue Light-emitting Diodes Based on a Novel Fluorescent Dye Containing Heterocyclic Groups显示文摘Novel molecular material, 1-benzotlliazoly-3 -phenyl --pyrazoline (BTPP) was found to function as bright blue light emitting dye in organic electroluminescent device, and its optical and electric characteristics were investigated. This heterocyclic compound exhibited good characteristics of blue photoluminescence and electroluminescence, which had the emission peak at 450 nm. The single layer light-emitting devices using BTPP as light-emitting material dispersed in poly(N- vinylcarbazole) (PVK) and double layer ones using PBD as hole block layer above the light-emitting layer were fabricated using conventional spin-casting and vaccum vapour deposition methods. 8miR-378c suppresses Wilms tumor development via negatively regulating CAMKK2显示文摘Wilms tumor is a rare kidney malignancy primarily developed in children.Treatment for Wilms tumor includes surgery,radiotherapy,and chemotherapy.Recent studies have demonstrated that microRNAs(miRNAs)play important roles in regulating Wilms tumor development.In this study,we aimed to elucidate the expression and function of miR-378c in Wilms tumor.Quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR)results showed that miR-378c was downregulated in Wilms tumor tissues and cell lines.Functionally,further CCK-8,would healing,and transwell assays revealed that overexpression of miR-378c impaired Wilms tumor cell growth and metastasis in vitro.In addition,xenograft assay showed that miR-378c overexpression inhibited Wilms tumor development in vivo.Mechanistically,luciferase reporter assay confirmed that miR-378c directly targets CAMKK2 in Wilms tumor.qRT-PCR and western blot assays demonstrated that CAMKK2 was highly expressed in Wilms tumor tissues and cell lines.Rescue experiments were performed to further evaluate the functional relationship between miR-378c and CAMKK2.Overexpression of miR-378c suppressed Wilms tumor cell metastasis via negatively regulating CAMKK2 expression.Consistently,inhibition of miR-378c enhanced Wilms tumor cell malignancy behavior via augmenting CAMKK2 expression,which could be abrogated by CAMKK2 knockdown.In summary,our findings suggest that miR-378c inhibits the development and metastasis of Wilms tumor via negatively regulating CAMKK2 expression,which could be utilized to develop new therapy strategy.Qiang Yu Baijun Zheng Xiang Ji Peng Li Zhengtuan Guo 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,6:1

10Carbonization fabrication of a piezoresistive sensor with improved sensitivity via Ni decoration of carbonized cotton fibers显示文摘The development of wearable electronics urgently requires the cost-effective and scalable fabrication of high-performance pressure sensors.This work aims to develop a simple carbonization strategy to facilitate sensor sensitivity by decorating discrete nickel nanoparticles on carbonized cotton fibers(CCFs).The increased air gap between the fibers at the unloading state,as well as the enlargement of the deformation distance and the contact area between the conductive materials at the loading state,contribute to a more significant resistance change.Therefore,the sensitivity of the piezoresistive sensor is improved more than 5 times within 1 N by introducing Ni nanoparticles,and it is characterized by a rapid response(~160 ms)and recovery(~100 ms),wide detection range(~20 N/~130 kPa),and good durability(~4000 cycles).The flexible sensor has been successfully demonstrated to monitor human movements,physical stimuli,and pressure distribution.Furthermore,the proposed device can control temperature accurately as a uniform and large-scale heater.This work reveals that the Ni@CCFs-based sensor is prospective in wearable electronics,artificial intelligence,health monitoring,medical diagnosis and treatment.HE Xiang WANG FengMing LIANG YiYing WU JiaWei LIANG JiongHong SHEN GengZhe LI BaiJun SU DaoJian ZHANG Chi SONG WeiDong HE Xin 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,12:0

13The biogenesis and secretion of exosomes and multivesicular bodies(MVBs):Intercellular shuttles and implications in human diseases显示文摘Exosomes carry and transmit signaling molecules used for intercellular communication.The generation and secretion of exosomes is a multistep interlocking process that allows simultaneous control of multiple regulatory sites.Protein molecules,mainly RAB GTPases,cytoskeletal proteins and soluble N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive fusion attachment protein receptor(SNARE),are specifically regulated in response to pathological conditions such as altered cellular microenvironment,stimulation by pathogenic factors,or gene mutation.This interferes with the smooth functioning of endocytosis,translocation,degradation,docking and fusion processes,leading to changes in the secretion of exosomes.Large numbers of secreted exosomes are disseminated by the flow of body fluids and absorbed by the recipient cells.By transmitting characteristic functional proteins and genetic information produced under disease conditions,exosomes can change the physiological state of the recipient cells and their microenvironment.The microenvironment,in turn,affects the occurrence and development of disease.Therefore,this review will discuss the mechanism by which exosome secretion is regulated in cells following the formation of mature secretory multivesicular bodies(MVBs).The overall aim is to find ways to eliminate disease-derived exosomes at their source,thereby providing an important new basis for the clinical treatment of disease.Minxue Xu Jie Ji Dandan Jin Yue Wu Tong Wu Renjie Lin Shengze Zhu Feng Jiang Yifei Ji Baijun Bao Mei Li Weisong Xu Mingbing Xiao 2023Genes & Diseases2023,10,5:0
14Optomechanical Schrödinger cat states in a cavity Bose-Einstein condensate显示文摘Schrödinger cat states,consisting of superpositions of macroscopically distinct states,provide key resources for a large number of emerging quantum technologies in quantum information processing.Here we propose how to generate and manipulate mechanical and optical Schrödinger cat states with distinguishable superposition components by exploiting the unique properties of cavity optomechanical systems based on Bose-Einstein condensate.Specifically,we show that in comparison with its solid-state counterparts,almost a 3 order of magnitude enhancement in the size of the mechanical Schrödinger cat state could be achieved,characterizing a much smaller overlap between its two superposed coherent-state components.By exploiting this generated cat state,we further show how to engineer the quadrature squeezing of the mechanical mode.Besides,we also provide an efficient method to create multicomponent optical Schrödinger cat states in our proposed scheme.Our work opens up a new way to achieve nonclassical states of massive objects,facilitating the development of fault-tolerant quantum processors and sensors.Baijun Li Wei Qin Ya-Feng Jiao Cui-Lu Zhai Xun-Wei Xu Le-Man Kuang Hui Jing 2023Fundamental Research2023,3,1:0
15Highly stable capacitive tactile sensors with tunable sensitivity facilitated by electrostatic interaction of layered double hydroxide,MXene,and Ag NWs显示文摘A capacitive tactile sensor(CTS)has been developed by assembling a double-sided patterned dielectric layer and novel electrodes.The patterned aluminium foil-supported electrode comprises zinc-aluminium layered double hydroxides(Zn AlLDH),MXene,and Ag NWs via electrostatic interaction.This flexible device enables greater structural deformation,thereby enhancing sensitivity to a wide range of pressure.The sensitivity of the CTS can be customized to meet specific requirements by matching the microstructured electrodes with the patterned dielectric layer.An optimized sensor exhibits a sensitivity of 2.752 kPa^(–1)within 30 kPa,a response time of approximately 100 ms,and a wide detection range of 0–300 kPa.The strong physical interaction among the electrode materials ensures a reliable conductive network,ensuring the long-term stability of the sensor,even after 7500 loading and unloading cycles.Furthermore,the fabricated CTS device presents a promising prospect for the integration into wearable electronics,with the ability to effectively respond to both human activities and external physical stimuli.SHEN GengZhe HUANG WeiQing LI HaiFeng WANG FengMing SU DaoJian LI BaiJun ZHANG BoLun LIANG Ping ZHANG Chi XIN Yue HE Xin 2023Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,11:0
