1BiVO4-Cu2O/CuO双光电极自偏压光电催化降解苯酚研究显示文摘基于费米能级差,构建了以BiVO_4为光阳极,Cu_2O/CuO为光阴极的双光电极可见光响应光催化燃料电池体系,研究了该体系在不同氧化剂的辅助作用下光电催化降解苯酚的效率与动力学.结果表明,向该体系中投加H_2O_2可以显著促进苯酚的降解,且反应过程光电流稳定,铜溶出量低.详细探究了H_2O_2初始浓度、pH对降解的影响,结果表明在H_2O_2投加量为5 mmol·L^(-1),初始pH为3.5条件下利于苯酚降解,5 mg·L^(-1)的苯酚可在120 min内完全去除.顺磁共振和猝灭实验表明该体系的主要氧化物种为·OH、·O^-_2和光生空穴.该催化体系实现了苯酚在可见光下的高效催化降解.李霞 崔玥昕 王雁 Abdul khaliq Jan 赵旭 2018环境科学学报2018,38,11:2

5Petrogenesis of Middle Triassic Volcaniclastic Rocks from Balochistan,Pakistan:Implications for the Break-Up of Gondwanaland显示文摘Basaltic volcanic conglomerates near the Wulgai village in Balochistan occur in the undivided sedimentary rock unit of the Bagh complex which is the mélange zone beneath the Muslim Bagh ophiolite. The presence of Middle Triassic grey radiolarian chert within the upper and lower horizon of the conglomerates suggests that the lavas, from which these conglomerates were principally derived, were eroded and re-deposited in the Middle Triassic. The Wulgai conglomerate contains several textural and mineralogical varieties of volcanic rocks, such as porphyritic, glomerophyric, intersertal and vitrophyric basalts. The main minerals identified in these samples are augite, olivine, plagioclase(An35–78) leucite and nosean, with apatite ilmenite, magnetite and hematite occurring as accessory minerals. These rocks are mildly to strongly-alkaline with low Mg~# and low Cr, Ni and Co contents suggesting that their parent magma had undergone considerable fractionation prior to eruption. Trace element-enriched mantle-normalized patterns with marked positive Nb anomalies are consistent with 10%–15% melting of an enriched mantle source in a within-plate tectonic setting. 8Investigation of E-H mode transition in magnetic-pole-enhanced inductively coupled neon-argon mixture plasma显示文摘In this paper,E-H mode transition in magnetic-pole-enhanced inductively coupled neon-argon mixture plasma is investigated in terms of fundamental plasma parameters as a function of argon fraction(0%-100%),operating pressure(1 Pa,5 Pa,10 Pa and 50 Pa),and radio frequency(RF)power(5-100 W).An RF compensated Langmuir probe and optical emission spectroscopy are used for the diagnostics of the plasma under study.Owing to the lower ionization potential and higher collision cross-section of argon,when its fraction in the discharge is increased,the mode transition occurs at lower RF power;i.e.for 0%argon and1 Pa pressure,the threshold power of the E-H mode transition is 65 W,which reduces to 20 W when the argon fraction is increased.The electron density increases with the argon fraction at afixed pressure,whereas the temperature decreases with the argon fraction.The relaxation length of the low-energy electrons increases,and decreases for high-energy electrons with argon fraction,due to the Ramseur effect.However,the relaxation length of both groups of electrons decreases with pressure due to reduction in the mean free path.The electron energy probability function(EEPF)profiles are non-Maxwellian in E-mode,attributable to the nonlocal electron kinetics in this mode;however,they evolve to Maxwellian distribution when the discharge transforms to H-mode due to lower electron temperature and higher electron density in H-mode.The tail of the measured EEPFs is found to deplete in both E-and H-modes when the argon fraction in the discharge is increased,because argon has a much lower excitation potential(11.5 eV)than neon(16.6 eV).Zahid Iqbal KHATTAK Abdul Waheed KHAN Faiq JAN Muhammad SHAFIQ 2020Plasma Science and Technology2020,22,6:0

10Ergodic Capacity Evaluation of Multi-Hop Decode-and-Forward MIMO-OFDM Relaying Network显示文摘Spatial diversity plays a significant role in wireless communication systems,including the Fourth Generation(4G)and Fifth Generation(5G)systems,and it is expected to be a fundamental part of the future wireless communication systems as well.The Multiple-Input Multiple-Output(MIMO)technology,which is included in the IEEE 802.16j standard,still holds the most crucial position in the 4G spectrum as it promises to improve the throughput,capacity,spectral,and energy efficiency of wireless communication systems in the 2020s.This makes MIMO a viable technology for delay constrained medical and health care facilities.This paper presents an approximate closed-form expression of the ergodic capacity for the Decode-and-Forward(DF)protocol MIMO-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM)relaying network.Although MIMO-OFDM is highly valuable for modern high-speed wireless communication systems,especially in the medical sciences,its performance degrades in multi-hop relay networks.Therefore,in this paper,an approximate closed-form expression is derived for an end-to-end ergodic capacity of multi-hop DF MIMO-OFDM wireless communication system has been presented.Monte-Carlo simulations are conducted to verify the performance of the presented analysis regarding the capacity(bits/s/Hz)for different SNR-dB values for single,2×2,4×4,and multi-hop DF MIMOOFDM systems.The presented results provide useful insights for the research on the end-to-end ergodic capacity evaluation.Latif Jan Mohammad Haseeb Zafar Abdul Waheed Mahdi Zareei Faisal Alanazi 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,9:0

14High-dimensional atomic microscopy in surface plasmon polaritons显示文摘We develop a new scheme of two-dimensional(2D)and three-dimensional(3D)atom localization via absorption and gain spectra of surface plasmon polaritons(SPPs)in a closed loop four-level atomic system.For the atom–field interaction,we construct a spatially dependent field by superimposing two(three)standing-wave fields(SWFs)in 2D(3D)atom localization,respectively.We achieve high-precision and high spatial resolution of an atom localization by appropriately adjusting the system parameters such as probe field detuning and phase shifts of the SWFs.The absorption and gain spectra are used to attain information about the position of an atom in SPPs.Our proposed scheme opens up a fascinating way to improve the atom localization that supplies some practical applications in a high-dimensional SPPs.Akhtar Munir Abdul Wahab Munsif Jan 2020Chinese Physics B2020,29,12:0
15Land-Cover Classification and its Impact on Peshawar’s Land Surface Temperature Using Remote Sensing显示文摘Spatial and temporal informationon urban infrastructure is essential and requires various land-cover/land-use planning and management applications.Besides,a change in infrastructure has a direct impact on other land-cover and climatic conditions.This study assessed changes in the rate and spatial distribution of Peshawar district’s infrastructure and its effects on Land Surface Temperature(LST)during the years 1996 and 2019.For this purpose,firstly,satellite images of bands7 and 8 ETM+(Enhanced Thematic Mapper)plus and OLI(Operational Land Imager)of 30 m resolution were taken.Secondly,for classification and image processing,remote sensing(RS)applications ENVI(Environment for Visualising Images)and GIS(Geographic Information System)were used.Thirdly,for better visualization and more in-depth analysis of land sat images,pre-processing techniques were employed.For Land use and Land cover(LU/LC)four types of land cover areas were identified-vegetation area,water cover,urbanized area,and infertile land for the years under research.The composition of red,green,and near infra-red bands was used for supervised classification.Classified images were extracted for analyzing the relative infrastructure change.A comparative analysis for the classification of images is performed for SVM(Support Vector Machine)and ANN(Artificial Neural Network).Based on analyzing these images,the result shows the rise in the average temperature from 30.04℃ to 45.25℃.This only possible reason is the increase in the built-up area from 78.73 to 332.78 Area km^(2) from 1996 to 2019.It has also been witnessed that the city’s sides are hotter than the city’s center due to the barren land on the borders.Shahab Ul Islam Saifullah Jan Abdul Waheed Gulzar Mehmood Mahdi Zareei Faisal Alanazi 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,2:0
16高温高压下Saraline基超轻完井液黏度预测模型优选显示文摘以Saraline基超轻完井液为研究对象,分析其黏度在高温高压环境下的变化情况,并优选其高温高压黏度预测模型。测量黏度时温度为298.15~373.15 K,压力为0.10~4.48 MPa,分析测量数据后发现:随着温度的升高,低温下黏度快速下降,高温下黏度降幅较小,且黏度对压力变化不敏感。将实验测量数据与4个常用黏度-温度-压力模型进行拟合,发现利用改进型Mehrotra-Svreck模型和Ghaderi模型预测的黏度值与测量值吻合度较高,能够描述高温高压下Saraline基超轻完井液的黏度特性。与Sarapar基超轻完井液对比后发现,温度对Saraline基超轻完井液黏度的影响更小,压力对Saraline基超轻完井液黏度的影响可以忽略不计,改进型Mehrotra-Svreck模型和Ghaderi模型在各种温度和压力条件下对Saraline基超轻完井液的黏度预测精度优于对Sarapar基超轻完井液的黏度预测。AMIR Zulhelmi JAN Badrul Mohamed WAHAB Ahmad Khairi Abdul KHALIL Munawar ALI Brahim Si CHONG Wen Tong 2016石油勘探与开发2016,43,5:0
