| 1 | Total mesopancreas excision for pancreatic head cancer: analysis of 120 cases显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the feasibility and safety of total mesopancreas excision(TMpE) in the treatment of pancreatic head cancer. Methods: The clinical and pathological data of 120 patients with pancreatic head cancer who had undergone TMpE in our center from May 2010 to January 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. Results: The mean operative time was(275.0±50.2) min and the average intra-operative blood loss was(390.0±160.5) mL. Post-operative complications were reported in 45 patients, while no peri-operative death was noted. The specimen margins were measured in three dimensions, and 86 patients(71.6%) achieved R0 resection. | 2 | Geochemical Characteristics and Genetic Types of Natural Gas in the Xinchang Gas Field, Sichuan Basin, SW China显示文摘The molecular compositions and stable carbon and hydrogen isotopic compositions of natural gas from the Xinchang gas field in the Sichuan Basin were investigated to determine the genetic types. The natural gas is mainly composed of methane (88.99%–98.01%), and the dryness coefficient varies between 0.908 and 0.997. The gas generally displays positive alkane carbon and hydrogen isotopic series. The geochemical characteristics and gas-source correlation indicate that the gases stored in the 5^(th) member of the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation are coal-type gases which are derived from source rocks in the stratum itself. The gases reservoired in the 4^(th) member of the Xujiahe Formation and Jurassic strata in the Xinchang gas field are also coal-type gases that are derived from source rocks in the 3^(rd) and 4^(th) members of the Xujiahe Formation. The gases reservoired in the 2^(nd) member of the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation are mainly coal-type gases with small amounts of oil-type gas that is derived from source rocks in the stratum itself. This is accompanied by a small amount of contribution brought by source rocks in the Upper Triassic Ma'antang and Xiaotangzi formations. | 4 | Liensinine induces gallbladder cancer apoptosis and G2/M arrest by inhibiting ZFX-induced PI3K/AKT pathway显示文摘Gallbladder carcinoma (GBC) is the most comm on and aggressive can cer of the biliary tract. Liensinine has been proved to have hypotensive effect. However, the effect of liensinine on GBC is still unknown. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect and mechanism of liensinine in human GBC cells. Cell viability assay and colony formation assay were performed to assess cell growth and proliferation. Flow cytometry analysis was used to investigate cell cycle apoptosis in vitro. Hoechst 33342 staining was also used to evaluate cell apoptosis. Western blot analysis was used to determine the expression of proteins corresponding to the related cell cycle and apoptosis.The effect of liensinine treatment in vivo was experimented with xenografted tumors. We found that liensinine significantly inhibited the growth of GBC cells both in vivo and in vitro. In vitro, cell growth and proliferation were significantly suppressed by liensinine in a dose- and time-dependent manner. In vivo, liensinine inhibited tumor growth. Liensinine could induce GBC cells G2/M phase arrest by up-regulating the levels of Cyclin B1 and CDK1 proteins. Liensinine also affected GBC cell cycle progress!on and induced apoptosis by down-regulating phosphorylated protein kinase B (AKT), phosphorylated protein kinase B (p-AKT), phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K), and Zinc finger X-chromosomal protein (ZFX) proteins. | 5 | Surface modification of LiNi_(1/3)Co_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)O_2 with Cr_2O_3 for lithium ion batteries显示文摘Cr 2 O 3-coated LiNi 1/3 Co 1/3 Mn 1/3 O 2 cathode materials were synthesized by a novel method. The structure and electrochemical properties of prepared cathode materials were measured using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), charge-discharge tests, cyclic voltammetry (CV), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The measured results indicate that surface coating with 1.0 wt% Cr 2 O 3 does not affect the LiNi 1/3 Co 1/3 Mn 1/3 O 2 crystal structure (α-NaFeO 2 ) of the cathode material compared to the pristine material, the surfaces of LiNi 1/3 Co 1/3 Mn 1/3 O 2 samples are covered with Cr 2 O 3 well, and the LiNi 1/3 Co 1/3 Mn 1/3 O 2 material coated with Cr 2 O 3 has better electrochemical performance under a high cutoff voltage of 4.5 V. Moreover, at room temperature, the initial discharging capacity of LiNi 1/3 Co 1/3 Mn 1/3 O 2 material coated with 1.0 wt.% Cr 2 O 3 at 0.5C reaches 169 mAh·g 1 and the capacity retention is 83.1% after 30 cycles, while that of the bare LiNi 1/3 Co 1/3 Mn 1/3 O 2 is only 160.8 mAh·g 1 and 72.5%. | 7 | Effect of grassland degradation on soil quality and soil biotic community in a semi-arid temperate steppe显示文摘Grasslands provide a number of ecosystem services for human society.Degradation of grasslands results in the loss of biodiversity and leads to the deterioration of ecosystem functions.In order to accurately assess the influence of grassland degradation on belowground ecosystems,we conducted experiments on a temperate steppe with different levels of degradation and investigated the influence of degradation on soil quality and soil biotic communities.Our results showed that grassland degradation significantly decreased soil quality,with lower values of soil quality index(SQI)observed in the degraded grassland than the meadow steppe and the grassland from the forest-steppe ecotone.Changes in the SQI along the grassland degradation gradient were positively correlated with soil carbon stock and the aboveground biomass,and negatively correlated with the root shoot ratio.Nematode trophic diversity and the ratio of fungal to bacterial PLFA were lower in the degraded grassland than the grassland from the forest-steppe ecotone.The dissimilarities in soil microbial and nematode community composition increased with the changes in soil quality index.Our results indicate that soil quality index based on the minimum data sets could effectively assess the influence of grassland degradation on soil biodiversity and ecosystem function.In order to effectively restore degraded grasslands,the key contributors to the soil quality,such as soil carbon,should be taken on priority basis for revitalizing the soil biodiversity and ecosystem function. | Xu Han Yuhui Li Xiaofang Du Yingbin Li Zhengwen Wang Siwei Jiang Qi Li | 2020 | Ecological Processes2020,9,1: | 4 |

Directly using the FeOOH/SWNT composite(containing 15 wt%SWNTs) as anode material for lithium battery enhances kinetics of the Li+insertion/extraction processes, thereby effectively improving reversible capacity and cycle performance, which delivers a high reversible capacity of 758 mAh g-1under a current density of 400 mA g-1even after 180 cycles, being comparable with previous reports in terms of electrochemical performance for FeOOH anode. | 9 | Electrochemical properties of carbon-coated LiFePO_4 and LiFe_(0.98)Mn_(0.02)PO_4 cathode materials synthesized by solid-state reaction显示文摘Olivine structured LiFePO 4 /C (lithium iron phosphate) and Mn 2+ -doped LiFe 0.98 Mn 0.02 PO 4 /C powders were synthesized by the solid-state reaction. The effects of manganese partial substitution and different carbon content coating on the surface of LiFePO 4 were considered. The structures and electrochemical properties of the samples were measured by X-ray diffraction (XRD), cyclic voltammetry (CV), charge/discharge tests at different current densities, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The electrochemical properties of LiFePO 4 cathodes with x wt.% carbon coating (x= 3, 7, 11, 15) at =0.2C, 2C (1C= 170 mAh·g 1 ) between 2.5 and 4.3 V were investigated. The measured results mean that the LiFePO 4 with 7 wt.% carbon coating shows the best rate performance. The discharge capacity of LiFe 0.98 Mn 0.02 PO 4 /C composite is found to be 165 mAh·g 1 at a discharge rate, = 0.2C, and 105 mAh·g 1 at =2C, respectively. After 10 cycles, the discharge capacity has rarely fallen, while that of the pristine LiFePO 4 /C cathode is 150 mAh·g 1 and 98 mAh·g 1 at =0.2 and 2C, respectively. | 10 | Hepatopancreatoduodenectomy for advanced biliary malignancies显示文摘Background:Hepatopancreatoduodenectomy(HPD)has been considered the only curative treatment for metastatic cholangiocarcinoma and some locally advanced gallbladder cancers(GBCs).However,HPD has not yet been included in treatment guidelines as a standard surgical procedure in consideration of its morbidity and mortality rates.The aim of this study was to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of HPD in treating biliary malignancies.Methods:The medical records of 57 patients with advanced biliary cancer undergoing HPD from January 2009 to December 2019 were retrospectively retrieved.A case-control analysis was conducted at our department.Patients with advanced GBC who underwent HPD(HPD-GBC group)were compared with a control group(None-HPD-GBC group).Baseline characteristics,preoperative treatments,tumor pathologic features,operative results,and prognosis were assessed.Results:Thirteen patients with cholangiocarcinoma and 44 patients with GBC underwent HPD at our department.Significant postoperative complications(grade III or greater)and postoperative pancreatic fistula were observed in 24(42.1%)and 15(26.3%)patients,respectively.One postoperative death occurred in the present study.Overall survival(OS)was longer in patients with advanced cholangiocarcinoma than in those with GBC(median survival time[MST],31 months vs.11 months;P<0.001).In the subgroup analysis of patients with advanced GBC,multivariate analysis demonstrated that T4 stage tumors(P=0.012),N2 tumors(P=0.001),and positive margin status(P=0.004)were independently associated with poorer OS.Patients with either one or more prognostic factors exhibited a shorter MST than patients without those prognostic factors(P<0.001).Conclusion:HPD could be performed with a relatively low mortality rate and an acceptable morbidity rate in an experienced highvolume center.For patients with advanced GBC without an N2 or T4 tumor,HPD can be a preferable treatment option. | Xiangsong Wu Maolan Li Wenguang Wu Xu’an Wang Huaifeng Li Runfa Bao Yijun Shu Jun Shen Jun Gu Xuefeng Wang Wei Gong Shuyou Peng Yingbin Liu | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,23: | 3 |

| 13 | Boosting the cell performance of the SiO_(x)@C anode material via rational design of a Si-valence gradient显示文摘Relieving the stress or strain associated with volume change is highly desirable for high-performance SiOx anodes in terms of stable solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)-film growth.Herein,a Si-valence gradient is optimized in SiOx composites to circumvent the large volume strain accompanied by lithium insertion/extraction.SiO_(x)@C annealed at 850℃ has a gentle Si-valence gradient along the radial direction and excellent electrochemical performances,delivering a high capacity of 506.9 mAh g^(−1) at 1.0 A g^(−1) with a high Coulombic efficiency of~99.8%over 400 cycles.Combined with the theoretical prediction,the obtained results indicate that the gentle Si-valence gradient in SiO_(x)@C is useful for suppressing plastic deformation and maintaining the inner connection integrity within the SiO_(x)@C particle.Moreover,a gentle Si-valence gradient is expected to form a stress gradient and affect the distribution of dangling bonds,resulting in local stress relief during the lithiation/delithiation process and enhanced Li-ion kinetic diffusion.Furthermore,the lowest interfacial stress variation ensures a stable SEI film at the interface and consequently increases cycling stability.Therefore,rational design of a Si-valence gradient in SiOx can provide further insights into achieving high-performance SiOx anodes with large-scale production. | Jianming Tao Zerui Yan Jiangshao Yang Jiaxin Li Yingbin Lin Zhigao Huang | 2022 | Carbon Energy2022,4,2: | 2 |

| 15 | Melittin inhibited glycolysis and induced cell apoptosis in cisplatinresistant lung adenocarcinoma cells via TRIM8显示文摘Chemotherapy is widely used for non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)patients at a late stage;however,NSCLC patients often acquire resistance to chemotherapeutic drugs,thus limiting the therapy efficacy.Melittin,a major component of bee venom,possesses anti-tumor activity in various cancer cells.Here,we examined the effects of melittin on A549/DDP cisplatin-resistant lung adenocarcinoma cells and xenografts formed from this cell line and investigated the possible target of melittin.Treatment with melittin resulted in the induction of cell apoptosis,glycolysis inhibition,and reduction of phosphorylated AKT(p-AKT)in A549/DDP cells.We also identified that tripartite motif-containing 8(TRIM8)was a potential target of melittin.Moreover,we found that TRIM8 mRNA expression was elevated in NSCLC specimens as compared to adjacent normal tissues(N=25)and that patients with high expression of TRIM8 had a poor prognosis for lung adenocarcinoma.The knockdown of TRIM8 had a similar effect of melittin,while overexpression of TRIM8 reversed the effects of melittin in A549/DDP cells.More importantly,we revealed that melittin enhanced cisplatin sensitivity in A549/DDP cells and tumor growth in vivo using a xenograft model of A549/DDP cells.In conclusion,melittin appears to be a potential chemotherapy sensitization agent in NSCLC. | SUFANG ZHANG XIANG LV LI LI YINGBIN LUO HUINAN XIANG LIXIN WANG YAN LI | 2021 | BIOCELL2021,45,1: | 1 |
| 16 | Boosting K-ion kinetics by interfacial polarization induced by amorphous MoO_(3-x)for MoSe_(2)/MoO_(3-x)@rGO composites显示文摘Promoting interfacial reaction kinetics is highly desirable for achieving high-performances of anode material in alkali-ion batteries.Herein,flower-like MoSe_(2)/MoO_(3-x)@r GO composites are fabricated by a facile solvothermal method involving a thermal-treatment at 800°C.When evaluated as an anode material for potassium ion batteries,MoSe_(2)/MoO_(3-x)@r GO delivers 248.2 m A h g^(-1)after 50 cycles at 0.2 A g^(-1) with a capacity retention of 84.6%and 182.9 m A h g^(-1)after 150 cycles at 1.0 A g^(-1) with a capacity retention of almost 61.2%,superior to those of bare MoSe_(2)or MoSe_(2)@r GO composites.Analysis from electrochemical measurements,the amorphous MoO_(3-x)containing oxygen vacancies could not only effectively buffer the self-aggregation of MoSe_(2)nanosheets but also provides lots of accessible active sites for potassium ion storage.Additionally,the open channels in the amorphous MoO_(3-x) phase lead to easier ion hopping and smaller diffusion barriers.Furthermore,the built-in electric field at the interface would be beneficial for electron transfer and K-ion migration across the hetero-junction interface.Moreover,larger dielectric polarization induced by the high relative permittivity of amorphous MoO_(3-x) would reduce charge transfer resistance and enhance K-ion migration across electric double-layer.Our work provides new insight into the enhanced performance of anode material coated by an amorphous layer with large relative permittivity. | Jiangshao Yang Liwen Liu Daoyi Wang Jianming Tao Yanming Yang Jiaxin Li Yingbin Lin Zhigao Huang | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,20: | 1 |
