2PORK PRODUCTION SYSTEMS IN CHINA:A REVIEW OF THEIR DEVELOPMENT,CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS IN GREEN PRODUCTION显示文摘This paper reviews the changes in pork production in China,the largest pork producing and consuming nation in the world.The pork sector in China has changed dramatically since the 1990s,with large-scale intensive pork production systems replacing the former,exclusively family-based pork production systems.Modern breeding,feeding,vaccinating,and management technologies are widely used now.However,smallholders still account for a large proportion of the total production.The intensification and specialization of the pork sector is expected to continue in the future,but there is increasing awareness and pressure to develop more environmentally-sustainable production systems.The relative shortage of domestically produced feed,the low utilization efficiency of feed ingredients,the large emissions of nitrogen and phosphorus to the environment,the high use of antibiotics,and the presence of residual metals in manures are very large challenges for the pork sector nowadays.To solve these problems,techniques including new feed resource utilization,precise feeding,low-protein diets,alternatives to antibiotics and increased manure recycling are all important topics and research directions today.With new techniques and management approaches,it is possible to build more sustainable pork production systems in China.Shuai ZHANG Xin WU Dandan HAN Yong HOU Jianzhuang TAN Sung Woo KIM Defa LI Yulong YIN Junjun WANG 2021Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2021,8,1:2

15LRH-1 senses signaling from phosphatidylcholine to regulate the expansion growth of digestive organs via synergy with Wnt/β-catenin signaling in zebrafish显示文摘Liver receptor homolog-1(LRH-1)is an orphan nuclear receptor that is critical for the growth and proliferation of cancer cells and other biological processes,including lipid transportation and metabolism,sexual determination and steroidogenesis.However,because homozygous lrh-1^(-/-) mice die in utero,the regulatory mechanisms involved in embryonic development mediated by this receptor are poorly understood.In the present study,we performed transcription activator-like effector nuclease(TALEN)-mediated loss-of-function assays,taking advantage of zebrafish external fertilization,to investigate the function of lrh-1.The digestive organs were affected by lrh-1 depletion as a result of cellcycle arrest(at the checkpoint of G1 to S phase),but not cell apoptosis.Biochemical analysis revealed that LRH-1 augments the transcriptional activity of b-catenin 1 and 2 via physical interactions.Screening the specific ligand(s)sensed by LRH-1 during organogenesis revealed that phosphatidylcholine(PC),a potential ligand,is the upstream target of LRH-1 during endoderm development.These data provide evidence for the crosstalk between the PC/LRH-1 and Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathways during the expansion growth of endoderm organs.Gang Zhai Jia Song Tingting Shu Junjun Yan Xia Jin Jiangyan He Zhan Yin 2017Journal of Genetics and Genomics2017,44,6:0
16USP7 deubiquitinates and stabilizes NOTCH1 in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia显示文摘T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia(T-ALL)is a highly aggressive leukemia that is primarily caused by aberrant activation of the NOTCH1 signaling pathway.Recent studies have revealed that posttranslational modifications,such as ubiquitination,regulate NOTCH1 stability,activity,and localization.However,the specific deubiquitinase that affects NOTCH1 protein stability remains unestablished.Here,we report that ubiquitin-specific protease 7(USP7)can stabilize NOTCH1.USP7 deubiquitinated NOTCH1 in vivo and in vitro,whereas knockdown of USP7 increased the ubiquitination of NOTCH1.USP7 interacted with NOTCH1 protein in T-ALL cells,and the MATH and UBL domains of USP7 were responsible for this interaction.Depletion of USP7 significantly suppressed the proliferation of T-ALL cells in vitro and in vivo,accompanied by downregulation of the NOTCH1 protein level.Similarly,pharmacologic inhibition of USP7 led to apoptosis of T-ALL cells.More importantly,we found that USP7 was significantly upregulated in human T-ALL cell lines and patient samples,and a USP7 inhibitor exhibited cell cytotoxicity toward primary T-ALL cells,indicating the clinical relevance of these findings.Overall,our results demonstrate that USP7 is a novel deubiquitinase that stabilizes NOTCH1.Therefore,USP7 may be a promising therapeutic target in the currently incurable T-ALL.Huizhuang Shan Xiangyun Li Xinhua Xiao Yuting Dai Jinyan Huang Junjun Song Meng Liu Li Yang Hu Lei Yin Tong Li Zhou Hanzhang Xu Yingli Wu 2018Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2018,3,1:0
17A comprehensive first-principle study of borophene-based nano gas sensor with gold electrodes显示文摘Using density functional theory combined with nonequilibrium Green’s function method,the transport properties of borophene-based nano gas sensors with gold electrodes are calculated,and comprehensive understandings regarding the effects of gas molecules,MoS2 substrate and gold electrodes to the transport properties of borophene are made.Results show that borophene-based sensors can be used to detect and distinguish CO,NO,NO2 and NH3 gas molecules,MoS2 substrate leads to a nonlinear behavior on the current-voltage characteristic,and gold electrodes provide charges to borophene and form a potential barrier,which reduced the current values compared to the current of the systems without gold electrodes.Our studies not only provide useful information on the computationally design of borophene-based gas sensors,but also help understand the transport behaviors and underlying physics of 2D metallic materials with metal electrodes.Yueyue Tian Houping Yang Junjun Li Shunbo Hu Shixun Cao Wei Ren Yin Wang 2022Frontiers of physics2022,17,1:0

19Influence analysis of calculated horizontally layered soil parameters on grounding parameters显示文摘Calculated parameters(soil layer resistivity,soil layer thickness,and the number of soil layers)of horizontally layered soil are usually obtained based on the measured apparent resistivity under different measurement distances,which are significant for the design,operation,and maintenance of grounding grids.Most existing calculation methods of soil parameters are just trying to make the calculation results approach the measurement data,ignoring the relationship among measurement data,the calculated soil parameters,and grounding parameters,which would increase the workload of the measurement.To better balance the distance range of the measurement data and the influence of the calculated horizontally layered soil on grounding parameters,this paper systematically studies the relationship among measured apparent soil resistivity,calculated horizontally layered soil parameters,and grounding parameters.The basic theories of apparent resistivity measurement,soil parameter calculation,and grounding parameter calculation are given,the influence of soil layer thickness on the measured apparent resistivity is studied,and the influence of the calculated soil parameters on the grounding resistance of different grounding models is analysed.Based on different scales of grounding grids,the results give a corresponding reference distance range of measured apparent soil resistivity.Therefore,this paper can help decrease the workload of soil resistivity measurement during grounding parameters analysis,which has far-reaching engineering significance.Yihua Dan Junjun Yin Jian Yang Huizhang Yang 2023High Voltage2023,8,2:0
