| 1 | A review on tribology of polymer composite coatings显示文摘Self-lubricating polymer composite coatings,with tailorable tribological and mechanical properties,have been widely employed on mechanical parts to reduce friction and wear,which saves energy and improves the overall performance for applications such as aerospace satellite parts,shafts,gears,and bushings.The addition of functional fillers can overcome the limitations of single-polymer coatings and extend the service life of the coatings by providing a combination of low friction,high wear resistance,high load bearing,high temperature resistance,and high adhesion.This paper compares the heat resistance,and the tribological and mechanical properties of common polymer matrices,as well as the categories of functional fillers that improve the coating performance.Applicable scopes,process parameters,advantages,and limitations of the preparation methods of polymer coatings are discussed in detail.The tribological properties of the composite coatings with different matrices and fillers are compared,and the lubrication mechanisms are analyzed.Fillers reduce friction by promoting the formation of transfer films or liquid shear films.Improvement of the mechanical properties of the composite coatings with fillers of different morphologies is described in terms of strengthening and toughening mechanisms,including a stress transfer mechanism,shear yielding,crack bridging,and interfacial debonding.The test and enhancement methods for the adhesion properties between the coating and substrate are discussed.The coating adhesion can be enhanced through mechanical treatment,chemical treatment,and energy treatment of the substrate.Finally,we propose the design strategies for high-performance polymer composite coating systems adapted to specific operating conditions,and the limitations of current polymer composite coating research are identified. | Yilong REN Lin ZHANG Guoxin XIE Zhanbo LI Hao CHEN Hanjun GONG Wenhu XU Dan GUO Jianbin LUO | 2021 | Friction2021,9,3: | 13 |

| 3 | Quick assessment of chicken spoilage based on hyperspectral NIR spectra combined with partial least squares regression显示文摘Pseudomonas spp.and Enterobacteriaceae are dominant spoilage bacteria in chicken during cold storage(0°C-4°C).In this study,high resolution spectra in the range of 900-1700 nm were acquired and preprocessed using Savitzky-Golay convolution smoothing(SGCS),standard normal variate(SNV)and multiplicative scatter correction(MSC),respectively,and then mined using partial least squares(PLS)algorithm to relate to the total counts of Pseudomonas spp.and Enterobacteriaceae(PEC)of fresh chicken breasts to predict PEC rapidly.The results showed that with full 900-1700 nm range wavelength,MSC-PLS model built with MSC spectra performed better than PLS models with other spectra(RAW-PLS,SGCS-PLS,SNV-PLS),with correlation coefficient(RP)of 0.954,root mean square error of prediction(RMSEP)of 0.396 log10 CFU/g and residual predictive deviation(RPD)of 3.33 in prediction set.Based on the 12 optimal wavelengths(902.2 nm,905.5 nm,923.6 nm,938.4 nm,946.7 nm,1025.7 nm,1124.4 nm,1211.6 nm,1269.2 nm,1653.7 nm,1691.8 nm and 1693.4 nm)selected from MSC spectra by successive projections algorithm(SPA),SPA-MSC-PLS model had RP of 0.954,RMSEP of 0.397 log10 CFU/g and RPD of 3.32,similar to MSC-PLS model.The overall study indicated that NIR spectra combined with PLS algorithm could be used to detect the PEC of chicken flesh in a rapid and non-destructive way. | Shengqi Jiang Hongju He Hanjun Ma Fusheng Chen Baocheng Xu Hong Liu Mingming Zhu Zhuangli Kang Shengming Zhao | 2021 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,1: | 2 |

| 13 | Renal Effects of Prosthetic Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm in Dogs显示文摘To provide experimental model for abdominal aortic aneurysm research and to optimize design of stent-graft,the authors established an animal models of prosthetic abdominal aortic aneurysm (PAAA) in dogs,evaluated its biofunction,biocompatibility and renal effect.The PAAA was sutured using aneurysm neck (Φ 6 mm artificial blood vessel) and aneurysm body (Φ 29 and 31mm artificial blood vessel,respectively). Sixteen healthy adult dogs,with weight of 13. 5 ± 0. 66 kg,were randomly divided into 2 groups: group 29 mm and group 31 mm,8 in each group. Infrarenal aortic artery was reconstructed with PAAA to establish abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) animal model. Blood coagulation index such as prothrombin time (PT),activated partial thromboplatin time (APTT),thrombin time (TT) and Fibrinogen (Fbg) were detected pre-operation,1,7 and 14 days post-operation,respectively. Blood routine parameters were detected pre-operation 11,3 and 7 days post-operation. Renal function parameters such as blood urea nitrogen (BUN),creatinine (CREA),urea acid (UA) and urea/ creatinine (BU/CREA) were evaluated pre-operation and 30,90,150 days post-operation,respectively. PAAA were removed en bloc to determinine its biofuction and biocompatibility after 5 months of surgery. Kidneys were fixed in neutral buffered formalin solution,pathological slice were conducted to observate pathological changes of kidneys by HE stain.The results are as follows:1. Animal model: The PAAA was implanted to the infrarenal abdominal aortic artery without extensive bleeding after anastomosis. One dog died 2,25 and 127 days post-operation in group 31 mm,respectively,and the overall success rate was 62. 5%. One dog died 7 days post-operation in group 29 mm,the overall success rate was 87. 5%.2. Biofunction and biocompatibility of PAAA: Autopsy showed that there were no abdominal adhesions around the PAAAs,the lumen was patent without blood clots,there were no bleeding in PAAAs in two groups. Biocompatibility was poor because the outer layer of PAAA was enclosed by tissues,which was easy to strip,in group 31 mm. Excellent biocompatibility was proved by vascular endothelial cells growth in the inner layer of PAAA in group 29 mm.3. Coagulation examination: ATPP reduced significantly 1 day post-operation,and returned to normal after 7 days;there was no significant difference on TT in two groups. Fbg increased significantly 1 day post-operation (3. 16 ± 0. 56g/L,P<0. 05),and returned to normal after 7 days; PT and INR have no significant difference in group 29 mm. Value of PT and INR was 7. 92 ± 0. 57s and 0. 655 ± 0. 49,respectively,which reduced significantly compared with base value (P<0. 05),and returned to normal after 7 days; Fbg increased extremely 1 day post-operation (3. 28 ± 0. 49 g /L) (P<0. 01),which still increased significantly after 7 and 14 days in group 31 mm.4. Blood routine examination: Red blood cell count (RBC) and hemoglobin (HGB) reduced significantly 1 and 3days post-operation (P<0. 05); white blood cell count (WBC) and intermediate cell rate (MID%) increased extremely 1 day post-operation; there was no significant change in platelet count in group 29 mm. Mean corpuscular volume (MCV),RBC,HGB reduced significantly 1 and 3 days post-operation; WBC and MID% increased extremely 1 day after surgery; platelet (PLT),thrombocytocrit (PCT%) and platelet distribution width (PDW%) increased significantly1 day post-operation in group 31 mm.5. Renal function: BUN was 3. 995 ± 0. 36 mmol/L,which reduced extremely (P<0. 01),CREA was 104. 5 ±13. 85 μmol/L,which increased significantly (P<0. 05) after 150 days. | 15 | Achieving 20% photovoltaic efficiency by manganese doped methylammonium lead halide perovskites显示文摘We report a transition metal such as manganese doped methylammonium lead halide perovskite(MA(Pb:Mn)I_(3)) solar cell with an power conversion efficiency(PCE) over 20%. The rational design and fabrication of MA(Pb:Mn)I3 lead to the enhancements of all the photovoltaic parameters. To incorporate Mn can effectively eliminate the trap-assist and bi-molecular recombination. The photo-absorption ability at shorter wavelengths(i.e., less than 500 nm) and charge carrier lifetime can be elaborated. More importantly, the existence of the Mn^(2+)-I~--Mn^(3+)motif contributes for the double exchange effect, giving rise to the charge/spin transport. By a combination of linearly and circularly polarized photo-excitations, we have explicitly determined the role of intrinsic spin–orbit coupling(SOC) in MA(Pb:Mn)I_(3). More dark states are expected to be available for the photocurrent generation. | 16 | The gut microbiome and microbial metabolites in acute myocardial infarction显示文摘Emerging evidence has highlighted the role of gut microbiome in human health.However,the integrative role of gut microbiome and microbial metabolites in acute myocardial infarction(AMI)remains unclear.The current study profiles the microbial community through 16S rRNA gene sequencing and shotgun metagenomic sequencing and measures fecal short-chain fatty acids and circulating choline pathway metabolites among 117 new-onset AMI cases and 78 controls.Significant microbial alternations are observed in AMI patients compared with controls(P=0.001).The abundances of nine species(e.g.,Streptococcus salivarius and Klebsiella pneumoniae)are positively associated,and one species(Roseburia hominis)is inversely associated with AMI status and severity.A gut microbial score at disease onset is associated with the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events in 3.2 years(hazard ratio[95%CI]:2.01[1.04-4.24])in AMI patients.The molar proportions of fecal acetate and butyrate are higher,and the circulating levels of choline and carnitine are lower in AMI patients than in controls.In addition,disease classifiers show that AMI cases and controls have a more distinct pattern in taxonomical composition than in pathways or metabolites.Our findings suggest that microbial composition and functional potentials are associated with AMI status and severity. | Chenglin Liu Zhonghan Sun Shalaimaiti Shali Zhendong Mei Shufu Chang Hanjun Mo Lili Xu Yanni Pu Huihui Guan Guo-Chong Chen Qibin Qi Zhexue Quan Ji Qi Kang Yao Yuxiang Dai Yan Zheng Junbo Ge | 2022 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2022,49,6: | 0 |
| 17 | Red blood cell partitioning and blood flux redistribution in microvascular bifurcation显示文摘This paper studies red blood cell(RBC) partitioning and blood flux redistribution in microvascular bifurcation by immersed boundary and lattice Boltzmann method.The effects of the initial position of RBC at low Reynolds number regime on the RBC deformation,RBC partitioning,blood flux redistribution and pressure distribution are discussed in detail.It is shown that the blood flux in the daughter branches and the initial position of RBC are important for RBC partitioning.RBC tends to enter the higher-flux-rate branch if the initial position of RBC is near the center of the mother vessel.The RBC may enter the lower-flux-rate branch if it is located near the wall of mother vessel on the lower-flux-rate branch side.Moreover,the blood flux is redistributed when an RBC presents in the daughter branch.Such redistribution is caused by the pressure distribution and reduces the superiority of RBC entering the same branch.The results obtained in the present work may provide a physical insight into the understanding of RBC partitioning and blood flux redistribution in microvascular bifurcation. | Yuanqing Xu Fangbao Tian Hanjun Li Yulin Deng | 2012 | Theoretical & Applied Mechanics Letters2012,2,2: | 0 |
