| 1 | Numerical simulation of powder transport behavior in laser cladding with coaxial powder feeding显示文摘Laser cladding with coaxial powder feeding is one of the new processes applied to produce well bonding coating on the component to improve performance of its surface. In the process, the clad material is transported by the carrying gas through the coaxial nozzle, generating gas-powder flow. The powder feeding process in the coaxial laser cladding has important influence on the clad qualities. A 3D numerical model was developed to study the powder stream structure of a coaxial feeding nozzle. The predicted powder stream structure was well agreed with the experimental one. The validated model was used to explore the collision behavior of particles in the coaxial nozzle, as well as powder concentration distribution. It was found that the particle diameter and restitution coefficient greatly affect the velocity vector at outlet of nozzle due to the collisions, as well as the powder stream convergence characteristics below the nozzle. | 2 | A SURVEY OF STACKELBERG DIFFERENTIAL GAME MODELS IN SUPPLY AND MARKETING CHANNELS显示文摘Stackelberg differential game models have been used to study sequential decision making in noncooperative games in diverse fields.In this paper,we survey recent applications of Stackelberg differential game models to the supply chain management and marketing channels literatures.A common feature of these applications is the specification of the game structure:a decentralized channel composed of a manufacturer and independent retailers,and a sequential decision procedure with demand and supply dynamics and coordination issues.In supply chain management,Stackelberg differential games have been used to investigate inventory issues,wholesale and retail pricing strategies,and outsourcing in dynamic environments.The underlying demand typically has growth dynamics or seasonal variation.In marketing,Stackelberg differential games have been used to model cooperative advertising programs,store brand and national brand advertising strategies,shelf space allocation,and pricing and advertising decisions.The demand dynamics are usually extensions of the classical advertising capital models or sales-advertising response models.We begin by explaining the Stackelberg differential game solution methodology and then provide a description of the models and results reported in the literature. | Xiuli HE Ashutosh PRASAD Suresh P. | 3 | A Novel Load Balancing Strategy of Software-Defined Cloud/Fog Networking in the Internet of Vehicles显示文摘The Internet of Vehicles(IoV)has been widely researched in recent years,and cloud computing has been one of the key technologies in the IoV.Although cloud computing provides high performance compute,storage and networking services,the IoV still suffers with high processing latency,less mobility support and location awareness.In this paper,we integrate fog computing and software defined networking(SDN) to address those problems.Fog computing extends computing and storing to the edge of the network,which could decrease latency remarkably in addition to enable mobility support and location awareness.Meanwhile,SDN provides flexible centralized control and global knowledge to the network.In order to apply the software defined cloud/fog networking(SDCFN) architecture in the IoV effectively,we propose a novel SDN-based modified constrained optimization particle swarm optimization(MPSO-CO) algorithm which uses the reverse of the flight of mutation particles and linear decrease inertia weight to enhance the performance of constrained optimization particle swarm optimization(PSO-CO).The simulation results indicate that the SDN-based MPSO-CO algorithm could effectively decrease the latency and improve the quality of service(QoS) in the SDCFN architecture. | Xiuli He Zhiyuan Ren Chenhua Shi Jian Fang | 2016 | China Communications2016,13,S2: | 10 |
| 4 | Programmed Death Ligand-1 on Microglia Regulates Th1 Differentiation via Nitric Oxide in Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis显示文摘Microglia are considered to be potential antigen-presenting cells and have the ability to present antigen under pathological conditions. Nevertheless, whether and how microglia are involved in immune regulation are largely unknown. Here, we investigated the suppressive activity of microglia during experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis(EAE) induced by myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein, with the goal of understanding their role in regulating the T cell reaction. Using flow cytometric analysis, we found that microglia were characterized by increased cell number and up-regulated programmed death ligand-1(PD-L1) at the peak phase of EAE. Meanwhile,both the CD^(4+)T cells and microglia that infiltrated the central nervous system expressed higher levels of PD1, the receptor for PD-L1, accompanied by a decline of Th1 cells.In an ex vivo co-culture system, microglia from EAE mice inhibited the proliferation of antigen-specific CD^(4+)T cells and the differentiation of Th1 cells, and this was significantly inhibited by PD-L1 blockade. Further,microglia suppressed Th1 cells via nitric oxide(NO), the production of which was dependent on PD-L1. | 6 | Numerical study of thermal history in laser aided direct metal deposition process显示文摘Temperature evolution in the laser aided direct metal deposition (LADMD) process has considerable influence on the micro-structure and properties of the final part. A 3D transient finite element model was developed to study the temperature evolution during the multilayer LADMD process. To make the property analysis from thermal history easier, a critical temperature specific to thermal history was defined and the distribution of it in the part was also discussed. The simulation results indicated that the critical temperature can make the property analysis from thermal history easier. Thermal history of all the deposited materials was similar. | 7 | Dark matter direct search sensitivity of the PandaX-4T experiment显示文摘The Panda X-4T experiment, a 4-ton scale dark matter direct detection experiment, is being planned at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. In this paper we present a simulation study of the expected background in this experiment. In a 2.8-ton fiducial mass and the signal region between 1-10 keV electron equivalent energy, the total electron recoil background is found to be 4.9 × 10^(-5) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). The nuclear recoil background in the same region is 2.8 × 10^(-7) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). | 8 | A novel approach for assessing the susceptibility of Escherichia coli to antibiotics显示文摘The dynamic growth process of Escherichia coli CVCC249 under different concentrations of antibiotics was analyzed. The results suggested that the main reason that definitive results cannot be obtained by antibiotic susceptibility testing (AST) is that the ratio of drug concentration to the population of bacteria and the combined effect of drug concentration and action time cannot be completely determined with the methods used. Based on the analysis of the growth process with a series of concentrations of gentamicin acting for a certain time, and according to the forward difference method, a novel method for AST was proposed. The net increase in turbidity of the bacterial population was used to eliminate the existing effects of resting cells, and then the recurrent coefficient for a growing sequence was used to characterize the effect of antibiotics on bacterial division, and the contour plot was used to display and analyze the combined effect of drug concentration and action time. The inhibition rate of the antibiotics can be characterized as the dynamic change in the composite function of the antibiotic concentration and action time, which indicated that the inhibition rate was dependent on the combined effect of time and concentration of antibiotics. The calculation results of 147 county-level units in Northeast China by DEA method show that in the use efficiency evaluation results of cultivated land of county-level units,the mean values of comprehensive efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency were 0. 674,0. 705 and 0. 96,respectively,and the DEA effective units account for about 11%. The effective areas of pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency do not have a high level of superposition. To a certain extent,this also limits the improvement of overall efficiency.
