A SURVEY OF STACKELBERG DIFFERENTIAL GAME MODELS IN SUPPLY AND MARKETING CHANNELS显示文摘Stackelberg differential game models have been used to study sequential decision making in noncooperative games in diverse fields. In this paper,we survey recent applications of Stackelberg differential game models to the supply chain management and marketing channels literatures.A common feature of these applications is the specification of the game structure:a decentralized channel composed of a manufacturer and independent retailers, and a sequential decision procedure with demand and supply dynamics and coordination issues. In supply chain management,Stackelberg differential games have been used to investigate inventory issues, wholesale and retail pricing strategies, and outsourcing in dynamic environments. The underlying demand typically has growth dynamics or seasonal variation. In marketing,Stackelberg differential games have been used to model cooperative advertising programs, store brand and national brand advertising strategies, shelf space allocation, and pricing and advertising decisions. The demand dynamics are usually extensions of the classical advertising capital models or sales-advertising response models. We begin by explaining the Stackelberg differential game solution methodology and then provide a description of the models and results reported in the literature.Xiuli HE Ashutosh PRASAD Suresh P. 2Ayurvedic concept of Shatkriyakala:a traditional knowledge of cancer pathogenesis and therapy显示文摘The term Kriyakala refers to the recognition of the stage of a disease's progress, which helps to determine appropriate measure to correct the imbalance in Doshas(biological factors). It is a compound expression, comprised of Kriya and Kala, where Kriya means the choice to treatment(medicine, food and daily-routine) used to improve the disturbance in Doshas, and Kala refers to the stage of progress of a disease.Sushruta,an ancient Indian surgeon, has described the concept of Kriyakala in Varnaprashnadhyaya,an ancient Vedic Sanskrit text, which seeks to explain the incidence of Varnas in terms of Doshic disturbances.Varna,in modern parlance, may be described as an inflammatory process that may lead ulceration and chronic inflammation, promoting all stages of carcinogenesis.Abnormal interactions between Prakriti(genotype) and environmental factors vitiate the Doshas and impair immunity, which can lead to aberrant cell growth and cancer. Moreover, the interaction between vitiated Doshas and weak Dhatus(body tissues) manifests as cancers of a specific organ.Shatkriyakala(six stages of progress of a disease),on the other hand, provides a framework to assess the cancer and its pathogenesis in different stages.According to Ayurvedic concepts, all cancer therapies treat the affected tissues indirectly by eliminating vitiated Doshas, rejuvenating Dhatus and restoring immunity in cancer patients. The present review describes the six stages of Shatkhyakala in detail, with an emphasis on research areas to validate the concept of Shatkhyakala. This traditional knowledge can be utilized with modern technologies to detect predisposition for cancer or diagnose cancer in its early stages.Ashutosh Chauhan Deepak Kumar Semwal Satyendra Prasad Mishra Ruchi Badoni Semwal 2017Journal of Integrative Medicine2017,15,2:3

Interconversion of two commonly used performance tools: An analysis of 5844 paired assessments in 1501 lung cancer patients显示文摘AIM To establish the Karnofsky performance status(KPS) categories which would facilitate the interconversion of the KPS scale to the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group(ECOG) performance status(PS) scale.METHODS This was a retrospective analysis of all patients attending the lung cancer clinic at a tertiary care center over a 5-year period(September 2009 to August 2014). All patients were assessed with both KPS and ECOG PS scales at each visit. Correlation between KPS and ECOG PS was assessed using Spearman's correlation coefficient. KPS categories equivalent to ECOG PS scores were compared using hit rate and weighted kappa(κw).RESULTS A total of 1501 patients were assessed over the study period, providing 5844 paired KPS and ECOG PS assessments. The study cohort had a mean(standard deviation; SD) age of 58.4(10.8) years, with the majority being current or ex-smokers(76.9%) and males(82.3%). Non-small cell lung cancer was the most common histological type(n = 1196, 79.7%) with the majority having advanced(stage ⅢB/Ⅳ) disease(83.4%). Mean baseline KPS and ECOG PS scores were 77.6(SD = 14.4) and 1.5(SD = 1) respectively. The most frequent KPS score was 80(29%), and the most frequent ECOG PS score was 1(43%). The overall correlation between KPS and ECOG PS was good(Spearman r =-0.84, P < 0.0001) but ranged from-0.727 to-0.972 between visits. KPS categories derived from our cohort [10-40(ECOG 4), 50-60(ECOG 3), 70(ECOG 2), 80-90(ECOG 1), 100(ECOG 0)] performed better [hit rate 78.1%, κw = 0.749(0.736-0.762) P < 0.0001] than those suggested in the past literature.CONCLUSION The current study provides the largest set of paired KPS-ECOG assessments to date. We suggest that the KPS categories 10-40, 50-60, 70, 80-90, and 100 are equivalent to ECOG PS categories of 4, 3, 2, 1, and 0 respectively.Kuruswamy Thurai Prasad Harpreet Kaur Valliappan Muthu Ashutosh Nath Aggarwal Digambar Behera Navneet Singh 2018World Journal of Clinical Oncology2018,9,7:2
Ethanol steam reforming study over ZSM-5 supported cobalt versus nickel catalyst for renewable hydrogen generation显示文摘The renewable hydrogen generation through ethanol steam reforming is one of the anticipated areas for sustainable hydrogen generation. To elucidate the role of Ni and Co with ZSM-5 support, catalysts were prepared by wet impregnation method and ethanol steam reforming(ESR) was performed. The catalysts were characterized by HR-XRD, ATR–FTIR, HR-SEM, TEM with SAED, EDAX, surface area analyzer and TPR. It had shown complete ethanol conversion at 773 K, but the selectivity in hydrogen generation was found higher for 10% Ni/ZSM-5 catalyst as compared to 10% Co/ZSM-5. The 10% Ni/ZSM-5 catalyst has about 72% hydrogen selectivity at temperature 873 K. It indicates that Ni is a more sustainable catalyst as compared to Co with ZSM-5 support for ESR. The C_2H_4 was found major undesirable products up to 823 K temperature. Nevertheless, the 10% Ni/ZSM-5 catalyst had shown its stability for high temperature(873 K) ESR performance.Ashutosh Kumar Ram Prasad Yogesh Chandra Sharma 2019Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,3:2

Structural and Dielectric Properties of ZnO Added (Na_(1/2)Bi_(1/2))TiO_3 Ceramics显示文摘Structural and dielectric properties of polycrystalline samples of lead-free(1-x)(Na1/2Bi1/2)TiO3-xZnO,prepared using a high-temperature solid-state reaction method, were investigated in the composition range of 0≤x≤0.10.Rietveld analyses of X-ray diffraction data indicated the formation of a single-phase hexagonal structure with R3c symmetry.Williamson-Hall approach was applied to estimate the apparent particle size and lattice strain of the compounds.Temperature dependence of dielectric constant showed that the addition of ZnO to(Na1/2Bi1/2)TiO3 shifted the phase transition temperature towards higher side,a property favourable for practical applications of these ceramics.Further, temperature dependent permittivity data provided low temperature coefficient of capacitance(TCC <8%) up to 100 ℃.Furthermore,a decrease in the value of dielectric loss with an increase in ZnO content was observed.Kamini Kumari Ashutosh Prasad Kamal Prasad 2011Journal of Materials Science & Technology2011,27,3:0
Tension urinothorax as a reversible cause of cardiac arrest:a case report显示文摘Urinothorax, is the accumulation of urine in the pleural space, and is a rare and unusual condition.[1]Several etiologies are responsible for this, with trauma being the most common,[2] along with, surgical renal procedures(percutaneousnephrolithotomy,PCNL),retroperitoneal inflammation, urinary obstruction and malignancies.[3,4] Massive collections of a urinothorax or a hydrothorax can lead to tension, mediastinal shifts andcardiacarrests.
