2Encapsulating soluble active species into hollow crystalline porous capsules beyond integration of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis显示文摘Homogeneous molecular catalysts and heterogeneous catalysts possess complementary strengths,and are of great importance in laboratory/commercial procedures.While various porous hosts,such as polymers,carbons,silica,metal oxides and zeolites,have been used in an attempt to heterogenize homogeneous catalysts,realizing the integration of both functions at the expense of discounting their respective advantages,it remains a significant challenge to truly combine their intrinsic strengths in a single catalyst without compromise.Here,we describe a general template-assisted approach to incorporating soluble molecular catalysts into the hollow porous capsule,which prevents their leaching due to the absence of large intergranular space.In the resultant yolk(soluble)–shell(crystalline)capsules,the soluble yolks can perform their intrinsic activity in a mimetic homogeneous environment,and the crystalline porous shells endow the former with selective permeability,substrate enrichment,size-selective and heterogeneous cascade catalysis,beyond the integration of the respective advantages of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts.Guorui Cai Meili Ding Qianye Wu Hai-Long Jiang 2020National Science Review2020,7,1:12
3An Energy-Efficient Data Collection Scheme Using Denoising Autoencoder in Wireless Sensor Networks显示文摘As one of the key operations in Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs), the energy-efficient data collection schemes have been actively explored in the literature. However, the transform basis for sparsifing the sensed data is usually chosen empirically, and the transformed results are not always the sparsest. In this paper, we propose a Data Collection scheme based on Denoising Autoencoder(DCDA) to solve the above problem. In the data training phase, a Denoising AutoEncoder(DAE) is trained to compute the data measurement matrix and the data reconstruction matrix using the historical sensed data. Then, in the data collection phase, the sensed data of whole network are collected along a data collection tree. The data measurement matrix is utilized to compress the sensed data in each sensor node, and the data reconstruction matrix is utilized to reconstruct the original data in the sink.Finally, the data communication performance and data reconstruction performance of the proposed scheme are evaluated and compared with those of existing schemes using real-world sensed data. 4Contrasting elevational diversity patterns for soil bacteria between two ecosystems divided by the treeline显示文摘Above- and below-ground organisms are closely linked, but how elevational distribution pattern of soil microbes shifting across the treeline still remains unknown. Sampling of 140 plots with transect, we herein investigated soil bacterial distribution pattern from a temperate forest up to a subalpine meadow along an elevational gradient using Illumina sequencing. Our results revealed distinct elevational patterns of bacterial diversity above and below the treeline in responding to changes in soil conditions:a hollow elevational pattern in the forest(correlated with soil temperature, pH, and C:N ratio) and a significantly decreasing pattern in the meadow(correlated with soil pH, and available phosphorus). The bacterial community structure was also distinct between the forest and meadow, relating to soil pH in the forest and soil temperature in the meadow. Soil bacteria did not follow the distribution pattern of herb diversity, but bacterial community structure could be predicted by herb community composition. These results suggest that plant communities have an important influence on soil characteristics, and thus change the elevational distribution of soil bacteria. 7Creep properties and resistivity-ultrasonic-AE responses of cemented gangue backfill column under high-stress area显示文摘To investigate the creep and instability properties of a cemented gangue backfill column under a highstress area,the uniaxial compression creep tests were conducted by single-step and multi-step loading of prismatic samples made of cemented gangue backfill material(CGBM)under the high stressstrength ratio.The creep damage was monitored using an electrical resistivity device,ultrasonic testing device,and acoustic emission(AE)instrument.The results showed that the CGBM sample has a creep hardening property.The creep failure strength(CFS)is slightly larger than the uniaxial compressive strength(UCS),ranging in ratio from 108.9%to 116.5%.The instantaneous strain,creep strain,and creep rate increase with increasing stress-strength ratio in the single-step loading creep tests.The instantaneous strain and creep strain decrease first and then increase during the multi-step loading creep process.The axial creep strain of the CGBM column can be expressed by the viscoelastic-plastic creep model.Creep instability is caused by the accumulation of strain energy under multi-step loading and the continuous lateral expansion at the unconstrained middle position during the creep process.The creep stability of a CGBM column in a high-stress area can be monitored based on the variation of electrical resistivity,ultrasonic pulse velocity(UPV),and AE signals.Hongyu Ran Yuxia Guo Guorui Feng Tingye Qi Xianjie Du 2021International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,3:7

11Stress environment of entry driven along gob-side through numerical simulation incorporating the angle of break显示文摘Angle of break(AOB)is the acute angle created by the coal seam bedding plane and caving line formed by roof strata movement after extraction of a longwall panel.It has a significant influence on stress redistribution both in the gob and abutment.Throughout numerical simulation investigations up to now,little attention has been paid to it or an AOB of 90°was used,which however,is not realistic.This paper presents a detailed numerical modelling incorporating the AOB against Zhenchengdi Coal Mine.The AOB was obtained through cross-measure boreholes.Hoek-Brown constitutive model was used to simulate the rock masses.Double-yield constitutive model,which was best fitted by Salamon's model,was used to simulate the gob.The results show that a‘‘/\shape'shear failure zone develops around the gob.The shear failure in the floor along the panel edge is due to opposite shear of rock mass on two sides of the caving line,and the number of yielded zones within the gob floor close to the gob edge is smaller.According to the research,the entry was determined to be driven under the gob edge employing splitlevel longwall panel layout(SLPL).The other numerical simulation for SLPL shows that stress around the god-side entry is much smaller than pre-mining stress,and the area of intact rock mass at the elevating section is larger than conventional layout.Numerical modelling was then validated by field observation.Guorui Feng Pengfei Wang 2020International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2020,30,2:5
12Simulation of recovery of upper remnant coal pillar while mining the ultra-close lower panel using longwall top coal caving显示文摘With the depletion of easily minable coal seams,less favorable reserves under adverse conditions have to be mined out to meet the market demand.Due to some historical reasons,large amount of remnant coal was left unrecovered.One such case history occurred with the remnant rectangular stripe coal pillars using partial extraction method at Guandi Mine,Shanxi Province,China.The challenge that the coal mine was facing was that there is an ultra-close coal seam right under it with an only 0.8–1.5 m sandstone dirt band in between.The simulation study was carried out to investigate the simultaneous recovery of upper remnant coal pillars while mining the ultra-close lower panel using longwall top coal caving(LTCC).The remnant coal pillar was induced to cave in as top coal in LTCC system.Physical modelling shows that the coal pillars are the abutments of the stress arch structure formed within the overburden strata.The stability of overhanging roof strata highly depends on the stability of the remnant coal pillars.And the gob development(roof strata cave-in)is intermittent with the cave-in of these coal pillars and the sandstone dirt band.FLAC3D numerical modelling shows that the multi-seam interaction has a significant influence on mining-induced stress environment for mining of lower panels.The pattern of the stress evolution on the coal pillars with the advance of the lower working face was found.It is demonstrated that the stress relief of a remnant coal pillar enhances the caveability of the pillars and sandstone dirt band below.Guorui Feng Pengfei Wang 2020International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2020,30,1:5
13Region-based classification by combining MS segmentation and MRF for POLSAR images显示文摘Speckle effects on classification results can be suppressed to some extent by introducing the contextual information.An unsupervised classification algorithm is proposed for polarimetric synthetic aperture radar(POLSAR) images based on the mean shift(MS) segmentation and Markov random field(MRF).First,polarimetric features are exacted by target decomposition for MS segmentation.An initial classification is executed by using the target decomposition and the agglomerative hierarchical clustering algorithm.Thereafter,a classification step based on MRF is performed by using the mean coherence matrices obtained for each segment.Under the MRF framework,the smoothness term is defined according to the distance between neighboring areas.By using POLSAR images acquired by the German Aerospace Centre and National Aeronautics and Space Administration/Jet Propulsion Laboratory,the experimental results confirm that the proposed method has higher accuracy and better regional connectivity than other classification methods.Bin Zhang Guorui Ma Zhi Zhang Qianqing Qin 2013Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2013,24,3:5
14Structural evolution and superconductivity tuned by valence electron concentration in the Nb-Mo-Re-Ru-Rh high-entropy alloys显示文摘The crystal structure and physical properties of Nb_(25)Mo_(5+x)Re_(35)Ru_(25-x)Rh_(10)(0≤x≤10)and Nb_(5)Mo_(35-y)Re_(15+y)Ru_(35)Rh_(10)(0≤y≤15)high-entropy alloys(HEAs)have been studied by X-ray diffraction,electrical resistivity,magnetic susceptibility,and specific heat measurements.The results show that the former HEAs with valence electron concentration(VEC)values of 6.7-6.9 crystallize in a noncentrosymmetric cubicα-Mn structure,while the latter ones with VEC values of 7.1-7.25 adopt a centrosymmetric hexagonal close-packed(hcp)structure.Despite different structures,both series of HEAs are found to be bulk superconductors with a full energy gap,and the superconducting transition temperature Tc tends to decrease with the increase of VEC.Nevertheless,the Tc values of the hcp-type HEAs are higher than those of theα-Mn-type ones,likely due to a stronger electron phonon coupling.Furthermore,we show that VEC and electronegativity difference are two key parameters to control the stability ofα-Mn and hcp-type HEAs.These results not only are helpful for the design of such HEAs,but also represent the first realization of structurally different HEA superconductors without changing the constituent elements.Bin Liu Jifeng Wu Yanwei Cui Qjnqing Zhu Guorui Xiao Siqi Wu Guang-han Cao Zhi Ren 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,26:5
15Endothelial cells-targeted soluble human Delta-like 4 suppresses both physiological and pathological ocular angiogenesis显示文摘Due to its essential roles in angiogenesis, Notch pathway has emerged as an attractive target for the treatment of pathologic angiogenesis. Although both activation and blockage of Notch signal can impede angiogenesis, activation of Notch signal may be more promising because it was shown that long-term Notch signal blockage resulted in vessel neoplasm. However, an in vivo deliverable Notch ligand with highly efficient Notch-activating capacity has not been developed. Among all the Notch ligands, Delta-like4(Dll4) is specifically involved in angiogenesis. In this study, we generated a novel soluble Notch ligand h D4 R, which consists of the Delta-Serrate-Lag-2 fragment of human Dll4 and an arginine-glycine-aspartate(RGD) motif targeting endothelial cells(ECs). We demonstrated that h D4 R could bind to ECs through its RGD motif and effectively triggered Notch signaling in ECs. Further, we confirmed that h D4 R could suppress angiogenesis in vitro as manifested by network formation assay and sprouting assay. More importantly, h D4 R efficiently repressed neonatal retinal angiogenesis and laser-induced choroidal neovascularization(CNV) as well in vivo. 16Brominated dioxins and furans in a cement kiln co-processing municipal solid waste显示文摘A field study and theoretical calculations were performed to clarify the levels, profiles, and distributions of polybrominated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans(PBDD/Fs) in a cement kiln co-processing solid waste, with a focus on the PBDF formation mechanism.The raw materials contributed greatly to input of PBDD/Fs into the cement kiln. The PBDD/F concentrations in the raw materials were much higher than those in particle samples from different process stages in the cement kiln. The PBDD/F concentrations in the clinkers were1.40% of the concentrations in the raw materials, which indicated that the high destruction efficiencies for PBDD/Fs by cement kiln. PBDD/F distribution patterns in particle samples collected from different process stages indicated the cement kiln backend was a major site for PBDD/F formation. PBDFs with high levels of halogenation, such as heptabrominated furans(Hp BDF), were the dominant contributors to the total PBDD/F concentrations and accounted for 42%–73% of the total PBDD/F concentrations in the particle samples. Our results showed that co-processing of municipal solid waste in a cement kiln may influence the congener profile of PBDD/Fs, especially for the higher halogenated PBDD fraction. In addition, there were significant correlations between the decabromodiphenyl ether and heptabrominated furan concentrations, which is an indicator of transformation from polybrominated diphenyl ethers to PBDD/Fs. Theoretical calculations were performed and demonstrated that elimination of HBr and Br_2 from polybrominated diphenyl ethers were the dominant formation pathways for PBDD/Fs. 17Influence of Na^+,K^+,Mg^(2+),Ca^(2+),and Fe^(3+) on filterability and settleability of drilling sludge显示文摘Solid–liquid separation is a vital step in drilling sludge disposal, and the filterability and settleability of drilling sludge are the main evaluating indicators for the separation process. The influence of Na^+,K^+,Mg^(2+),Ca^(2+),and Fe^(3+) on drilling sludge filterability and settleability was investigated in our research. The water content,filtration rate, supernatant volume and supernatant turbidity were measured to evaluate the filterability and settleability of drilling sludge. Meanwhile, the zeta potential, specific surface area of sludge flocs, particle size distribution and Fourier-transformed infrared spectra were employed to clarify the influencing mechanism.The experimental results showed that the filterability and settleability of drilling sludge were related to concentration and types of cations. Mg^(2+),Ca^(2+),and Fe^(3+) performed better than Na^+, K^+, and the cations with smaller hydrated radius got superior solid–liquid separation behavior at same valence. Finally, the spectra indicated that no chemical adsorption occurred between inorganic cations and drilling sludge flocs. 18Characteristics of dust distributions and dust control measures around road-header drivers in mining excavation roadways显示文摘In the present study,a numerical simulation method was adopted in order to examine the characteristics of dust dispersion during continuous dust release periods(CRP)and stop dust release periods(SRP).The purpose was to analyze the dust distributions and migration actions around road-header drivers in excavation roadways,and then determine effective dust control measures for underground coal mines.This study’s simulation results showed that the dust concentrations continuously increased,and then gradually reached a stability level during the CRP.During that time,the locations of the drivers were always at the intersection of the original migration dust and the backflow dust,and the drivers were invaded by these two strands dust.However,during the SRP,the dust concentrations gradually decreased under the actions of the roadway ventilation.Besides,obvious backflow phenomena were observed around the road-header during the SRP.The locations of the drivers were still within the backflow paths of the high dust concentrations.At the present time,dust separation and extraction systems have been implemented in coal mines,including vacuuming and air knife devices,which are designed to control the dust around the road-header drivers.The field applications of these systems were conducted in the 26 mechanized excavation faces of the Zhangcun Coal Mine.The results revealed that the use of these dust removal systems could effectively reduce the dust concentrations around the road-header drivers.In the present study,the dust removal rates during the CRP and SRP were determined to reach up to 88.7% and 94.6%,respectively.Therefore,the results of this research study provided effective theoretical guidance of the characteristics of dust distributions in coal mines,and introduced effective control methods for the hazardous dust concentrations around road-header drivers during the excavation process.Shengyong Hu Yang Gao Guorui Feng Yisheng Huang He Shaoa Qi Liao Fei Hu 2021Particuology2021,19,5:4
19Optical characteristics of Ce,Eu:YAG single crystal grown by Czochralski method显示文摘Eu-doped Ce:YAG single crystal(SC) was fabricated by the Czochralski method. The crystal structure,optical and photoelectric property of the constructed w-LED was investigated. The XRD and HRTEM results show that YAG crystal structure has little change when Eu^(3+), Ce^(3+) are doped. Absorption spectra and photoluminescence spectra show that the Ce,Eu:YAG single crystal can effectively absorb the 460 nm blue light to form a broadband emission center at 530 nm, decay curves of the crystal show that the energy transfer between Ce^(3+) and Eu^(3+) is highly suppressed. 20Source identification, contamination status and health risk assessment of heavy metals from road dusts in Dhaka, Bangladesh显示文摘In this study, concentrations of Cr, Mn, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb were determined in road dusts collected from different locations in Dhaka to assess source, contamination status and health risk. Energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy were used to determine Cr, Mn, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb and their mean concentrations were 162.27 ± 29.46, 721.18 ± 180.14, 35.65 ± 12.55, 104.56 ± 128.33, 515.32 ± 321.90,BDL, and 342.82 ± 591.20 mg/kg, respectively. Among the heavy metals, highest concentrations of Cu, Zn and Pb were found at urban sites-7(municipal waste dumping) and 8(medical waste incineration). Highest concentration of Cr followed by Cu and Zn was found at site-5(Tejgaon, urban). Principal component analysis revealed that anthropogenic activities are the potential sources for Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn and Pb while earth crust for Mn. Pollution index and pollution load index results suggested that all the sites were contaminated and/or degraded by Cr, Cu, Zn and Pb except sites-9(urban), 10(sub-urban), 11(rural) while sites-7 and 8(urban) were extremely degraded. For noncarcinogenic health risk, hazard quotient values for dermal were higher compared to that of inhalation/ingestion. Though hazard index values were less than 1 at all the sites, these were at least one order of magnitude higher for children group than that of adult group, thus the children group may face more noncarcinogenic health risk at sites -7 and 8.
