| 1 | Nanopreparations for mitochondria targeting drug delivery system: Current strategies and future prospective显示文摘Mitochondria are a novel and promising therapeutic target for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of a lot of human diseases such as cancer, metabolic diseases and neurodegenerative disease. Owing to the mitochondrial special bilayer structure and highly negative potential nature, therapeutic molecules have multiple difficulties in reaching mitochondria. To overcome multiple barriers for targeting mitochondria, the researchers developed various pharmaceutical preparations such as liposomes, polymeric nanoparticles and inorganic nanoparticles modified by mitochondriotropic moieties like dequalinium (DQA),triphenylphosphonium (TPP), mitochondrial penetrating peptides (MPPs) and mitochondrial protein import machinery that allow specific targeting.The targeted formulations exhibited enhanced pharmacological effect and better therapeutic effect than their untargeted counterpart both in vitro and in vivo. | 2 | Efficient Attribute-Based Encryption from R-LWE显示文摘Attribute-based encryption(ABE) has been an active research area in cryptography due to its attractive applications. But almost all attribute-based encryption schemes are based on bilinear maps, which leave them vulnerable to quantum cryptanalysis. The latticebased ABE schemes from the Learning with errors(LWE)have appeared, but they are not efficient enough for practical applications. Thus we propose an efficient attributebased encryption based on the Learning with errors over Rings(R-LWE), which is called ABE R-LWE. The security analysis shows that ABE R-LWE scheme is secure in the selective-set model under the R-LWE assumption, whose security can reduce to the hardness of the shortest vector problem in the worst case on ideal lattices. | 4 | Effect of CeO_2 preparation method and Cu loading on CuO/CeO_2 catalysts for methane combustion显示文摘CeO2 was synthesized by sol-gel,hydrothermal,nitrate thermal decomposition methods,respectively,and used as support to prepare CuO/CeO2 catalysts. According to characterization and reaction results,preparation method of CeO2 had a great influence on the physicochemical properties and activities of CuO/CeO2 catalysts. CuO with high dispersion and strong interaction with CeO2 was highly active in methane combustion,while CuO particles less associated with CeO2 showed less activity. The CuO catalyst supported on CeO2 which was prepared via nitrate thermal decomposition method showed the largest area,the smallest particle size,the highest dispersion of copper species and strong support metal interactions. Therefore,it presented the highest redox ability and activity for methane combustion. Activities of the catalysts with different copper content kept increasing until 5% Cu loading and from then on kept constant. Moreover,methane conversion decreased as methane space velocities increased on CuO/CeO2 catalyst. | 6 | Visual characterization of targeted effect of holo-transferrin-tagged dihydroartemisinin on human breast cancer cells显示文摘Targeted drugs could significantly reduce cytotoxic effect and increase therapeutic activity. Dihydroartemisinin (DHA) has been shown to be effective in killing cancer cells. However, it exhibits non-targeted property. Holo-transferrin (TF) is a suitable drug-carrier to target cancer cells, because cancer cells need iron uptake by the TF-mediated mechanism to maintain their uncontrolled growth. Furthermore, TF receptors (TF-R) are highly expressed on cancer cell surfaces. In this paper, 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay was used to evaluate the different killing effect of 4-(12-Dihydroartemisininoxy) Benzoic Acid Hydrozide-transferrin (DBAH-TF) on human breast cancer cells (MCF-7) cells and human normal breast (HNB) cells, and atomic force microscopy (AFM) was used to visually observe the targeted effect of DBAH-TF on MCF-7 cells. MTT results show that DBAH-TF is 172 times more potent than DHA in killing MCF-7 cells, while the cytotoxic effect of DBAH-TF on HNB cells is merely 1/33 to DHA. Also, the killing effect of DBAH-TF on MCF-7 cells is 286 times that on HNB cells, showing targeted effect. Moreover, there are distinct differences in ultrastructures of cellular surfaces after DBAH-TF and DHA treatment. Through AFM imaging, many characteristic holes were observed on the cancer cell surface after being effected by DBAH-TF, which differ from the holes with irregular shapes affected by DHA. | 7 | Radio interferometric localization of WSNs based on Doppler effect显示文摘A novel distributed localization method based on the Doppler effect for wireless sensor networks is proposed in this paper, which only relies on radio transceivers without the need of other auxiliary measurement equipments. Based on radio interference, each sensor node can obtain a multi-group of distance variations from itself to a mobile anchor through the measurement of the cumulative phase variations caused by Doppler effect, by which its position can be determined. The proposed method has the following advantages: the sensor node conducts localization in a completely distributed manner without information exchange or centralized processing, and the measurement result equals the actual distance without modulus operation, which is in reality measuring the distance with a ruler of radio wavelength, and will significantly reduce the system complexity and achieve high location accuracy. | 8 | Active Landslide Detection Based on Sentinel-1 Data and InSAR Technology in Zhouqu County, Gansu Province, Northwest China显示文摘Zhouqu County in Gansu Province, Northwest China, is typically highly prone to landslides. On July 12, 2018, a landslide blocked the Bailong River near Zhouqu County, posing a serious threat to the life and property of local residents and the safety of infrastructure. Small baseline subset interferometry synthetic aperture radar technology(SBAS-In SAR) was adopted to identify the potential active landslides in the surrounding area of Zhouqu County, using ascending and descending orbit Sentinel-1 satellite images taken from October 2017 to December 2018. The surface deformation areas detected by SBAS-In SAR were verified by optical remote sensing image interpretation and field investigation, and a total of 23 active landslides were identified finally. The deformation characteristics of four typical landslides are analysed in detail using deformation velocity and rainfall data. It is found that the deformation velocity of landslides in this area is mainly affected by rainfall and there is a lag effect. | 9 | Significance of the lymph nodes in the 7th station in rational dissection for metastasis of distal gastric cancer with different T categories显示文摘Objective: To determine the clinicopathological characteristics, and evaluate the appropriate extent of lymph node dissection in distal gastric cancer patients with comparable T category.Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on 570 distal gastric cancer patients, who underwent gastric resection with D2 nodal dissection, which was performed by the same surgical team from January 1997 to January 2011. We compared the differences in lymph node metastasis rates and metastatic lymph node ratios between different T categories. Additionally, we investigated the impact of lymph node metastasis in the 7th station on survival rate of distal gastric cancer patients with the same TNM staging.Results: Among the 570 patients, the overall lymph node metastasis rate of advanced distal gastric cancer was 78.1%, and the metastatic lymph node ratio was 27%. The lymph node metastasis rate in the 7th station was similar to that of perigastric lymph nodes. | 10 | Diagnosis and treatment of infantile malignant solid tumors in Beijing,China:A multicenter 10-year retrospective study显示文摘Importance:Cancer is the main cause of death by disease in children.Children experience the highest incidence of cancer in the first year of life.However,there is no comprehensive registration system for children with tumors in China.Objective:To summarize the diagnosis and treatment of infant cancer and analyze the status of standardized diagnosis and management among several treatment centers in Beijing,China,thereby providing evidence to guide further clinical research.Methods:From January 1,2010 to December 31,2019,patients with newly diagnosed infantile malignant solid tumors were admitted to six large tertiary pediatric solid tumor diagnosis and treatment centers in Beijing.The epidemiology,clinical features,and therapeutic effects of tumors in these patients were analyzed retrospectively.All patients were followed up until March 31,2020.Results:In total,938 patients were enrolled in this study.There were 530 boys(56.5%)and 408 girls(43.5%);the median age was 6.0 months(range,0-12.0 months).The three most common tumors were retinoblastoma in 366 patients(39.0%),neuroblastoma in 266 patients(28.4%),hepatoblastoma in 133 patients(14.2%),and central nervous system tumors in 52 patients(5.5%).The estimated 5-year overall survival rate was 81.3%±1.8%,and the 5-year event-free survival rate was 71.8%±2.9%.The 5-year overall survival rates of non-rhabdomyosarcoma soft tissue sarcoma,neuroblastoma,and retinoblastoma were 100%,88%±2.2%,and 86.9%±2.1%,respectively.The 5-year event-free survival rates were 81.1%±2.7%for neuroblastoma,81.6%±9.8%for non-rhabdomyosarcoma soft tissue sarcoma,and 72.7%±14.1%for extracranial malignant germ cell tumors.Interpretation:The three most common infantile malignant solid tumors were retinoblastoma,neuroblastoma,and hepatoblastoma.Multidisciplinary combined diagnosis and treatment is needed for infantile tumors. | Mei Jin Zhi Tian Yao Xie Zhaoxia Zhang Miao Li YaxiongYu Weiling Zhang Junyang Zhao Huanmin Wang Qi Zeng Long Li Ming Ge Ning Sun Xiaolun Zhang Jian Gong Wanshui Wu Rong Liu Weihong Zhao Dongsheng Huang Xiaoli Ma | 2020 | Pediatric Investigation2020,4,3: | 3 |

| 12 | Enhancement of cooperation between file systems and applications — VFS extensions for optimized performance显示文摘Modern operating systems incorporate an abstract layer called Virtual File System(VFS), which is positioned between user applications and real file systems to hide the differences of various file systems and to expose generic application interfaces for requesting file system services. However, VFS sometimes does not give applications an opportunity to pass information to file systems to help them make correct optimization decisions. In this paper, we review the Linux VFS, discuss its deficiencies and propose several extensions to allow applications to cooperate with the file systems more efficiently. We introduce simple prefetching interfaces and advisory flags to allow applications to communicate application-related semantics to VFS and/or the underlying file systems. These suggestions, which neither affect the semantics of applications nor modify their programming models, not only lead to simple VFS/file systems but also guide them to make correct performance-related decisions, if required. | 15 | Spatiotemporal Changes of Vegetation Cover in Response to Climate Change on the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The Tibetan Plateau is one of the most important ecological barriers in China. Resolving the internal relations and dynamics ruling the association between regional vegetation and climate change is important to understand and protect the regional ecosystems. Based on vegetation, temperature and precipitation data of the Tibetan Plateau from 2001 to 2010, we analyze the spatial and temporal variations of vegetation cover over the past 10 years and discuss the vegetation response to climate change using empirical orthogonal function and singular value decomposition.
