1Efficient Attribute-Based Encryption from R-LWE显示文摘Attribute-based encryption(ABE) has been an active research area in cryptography due to its attractive applications. But almost all attribute-based encryption schemes are based on bilinear maps, which leave them vulnerable to quantum cryptanalysis. The latticebased ABE schemes from the Learning with errors(LWE)have appeared, but they are not efficient enough for practical applications. Thus we propose an efficient attributebased encryption based on the Learning with errors over Rings(R-LWE), which is called ABE R-LWE. The security analysis shows that ABE R-LWE scheme is secure in the selective-set model under the R-LWE assumption, whose security can reduce to the hardness of the shortest vector problem in the worst case on ideal lattices. 3Design and Analysis of a V-Shaped Permanent Magnet Vernier Motor for High Torque Density显示文摘This paper proposes a V-shaped permanent magnet vernier(V-PMV)motor for potential applications in direct drive system.By designing suitable pole slot ratio and adopting the V-shaped PM topology and dummy slots in rotor,the flux leakage can be avoided effectively.Meanwhile,the high-order harmonics with large amplitude in the airgap magnetic field are fully utilized and served as the effective working harmonics,which aim at enhancing the output torque and reducing the torque ripple.Moreover,to extensively explore the performance advantages of the V-PMV motor,a multi-objective optimization study is carried out.And,the electromagnetic performances of the V-PMV motors are analyzed and compared in detail.Finally,a prototype machine is built and tested.Both theoretical analysis and experimental results verify the validity of the motor and multi-objective optimization design approach.Zixuan Xiang Weiling Pu Xiaoyong Zhu Li Quan 2022CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2022,6,1:2
4Directionality based fast fractional pel motion estimation for H.264显示文摘Motion estimation is an important and intensive task in video coding applications.Since the complexity of integer pixel search has been greatly reduced by the numerous fast ME algorithm,the computation overhead required by fractional pixel ME has become relatively significant.To reduce the complexity of the fractional pixel ME algorithm,a directionality-based fractional pixel ME algorithm is proposed.The proposed algorithm efficiently explores the neighborhood positions which with high probability to be the best matching around the minimum one and skips over other unlikely ones.Thus,the proposed algorithm can complete the search by examining only 3 points on appropriate condition instead of 17 search points in the search algorithm of reference software.The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm successfully optimizes the fractional-pixel motion search on both half and quarter-pixel accuracy and improves the processing speed with low PSNR penalty.Zhang Wei Fan Fen Wang Xiaoyang Zhu Weile 2009Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2009,20,3:2
5REDUCING THE PEAK-TO-AVERAGE POWER RATIO OF OFDM SYSTEM WITH LOW COMPLEXITY显示文摘This paper proposes a companding scheme, where small signals are enlarged and large signals are reduced, to reduce the Peak-to-Average Power Ratio(PAPR). Computer simulation results show that the proposed technique has two advantages at least when compared with the conventional methods such as partial transmit sequence, selective mapping and the previous companding. First, it gets better PAPR performances with a lower complexity. 7Influence of soil density on gas permeability and water retention in soils amended with in-house produced biochar显示文摘Biochar has been used as an environment-friendly enhancer to improve the hydraulic properties(e.g.suction and water retention)of soil.However,variations in densities alter the properties of the soil ebiochar mix.Such density variations are observed in agriculture(loosely compacted)and engineering(densely compacted)applications.The influence of biochar amendment on gas permeability of soil has been barely investigated,especially for soil with different densities.The major objective of this study is to investigate the water retention capacity,and gas permeability of biochar-amended soil(BAS)with different biochar contents under varying degree of compaction(DOC)conditions.In-house produced novel biochar was mixed with the soil at different amendment rates(i.e.biochar contents of 0%,5%and 10%).All BAS samples were compacted at three DOCs(65%,80%and 95%)in polyvinyl chloride(PVC)tubes.Each soil column was subjected to dryingewetting cycles,during which soil suction,water content,and gas permeability were measured.A simplified theoretical framework for estimating the void ratio of BAS was proposed.The experimental results reveal that the addition of biochar significantly decreased gas permeability kg as compared with that of bare soil(BS).However,the addition of 5%biochar is found to be optimum in decreasing kg with an increase of DOC(i.e.k_(g,65%)>k_(g,80%)>k_(g,95%))at a relatively low suction range(<200 kPa)because both biochar and compaction treatment reduce the connected pores.Ankit Garg He Huang Weiling Cai Narala Gangadhara Reddy Peinan Chen Yifan Han Viroon Kamchoom Shubham Gaurav Hong-Hu Zhu 2021Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2021,13,3:1

19Study of transient luminescence of three kinds of Ru complexes bound to DNA显示文摘The transient luminescence of three kinds of ruthenium complexes [Ru(bpy)2(7-CH3-dppz)]2+, [Ru(bpy)2(7-F-dppz)]2+ and [Ru(phen)2(7-F-dppz)]2+ bound to calf thy-mus DNA (ctDNA) has been studied by using the time-resolved spectroscopy. The results show that the luminescence is due to the radiative decay from the charge-transfer states to the ground state. By the interaction with DNA, the radia-tiveless rate of the photoexcited Ru complex molecules decreases, which results in the increase of luminescence lifetime and efficiency. The structure of the Ru com-plex has an important impact on the interaction with DNA. The [Ru(bpy)2(7-CH3-dppz)]2+ shows the longest luminescence lifetime (about 382 ns), while the [Ru(bpy)2(7-F-dppz)]2+ shows the shortest lifetime (about 65 ns).
