1Dynamical classification of topological quantum phases显示文摘Topological phase of matter is now a mainstream of research in condensed matter physics, of which the classification, synthesis, and detection of topological states have brought excitements over the recent decade while remain incomplete with ongoing challenges in both theory and experiment. Here we propose to establish a universal non-equilibrium characterization of the equilibrium topological quantum phases classified by integers, and further propose the high-precision dynamical schemes to detect such states. The framework of the dynamical classification theory consists of basic theorems. First, we uncover that classifying a d-dimensional(dD) gapped topological phase of generic multibands can reduce to a(d-1)D invariant defined on so-called band inversion surfaces(BISs), rendering a bulk-surface duality which simplifies the topological characterization. Further, we show in quenching across phase boundary the(pseudo) spin dynamics to exhibit unique topological patterns on BISs, which are attributed to the post-quench bulk topology and manifest a dynamical bulk-surface correspondence. For this the topological phase is classified by a dynamical topological invariant measured from an emergent dynamical spintexture field on the BISs. Applications to quenching experiments on feasible models are proposed and studied, demonstrating the new experimental strategies to detect topological phases with high feasibility. 2Improving the electrical performance of resistive switching memory using doping technology显示文摘In this paper, improvements of resistive random access memory (RRAM) using doping technology are summarized and analyzed. Based on a Cu/ZrO2/Pt device, three doping technologies with Ti ions, Cu, and Cu nanocrystal, respectively, are adopted in the experiments. Compared to an undoped device, improvements focus on four points: eliminating the electroforming process, reducing operation voltage, improving electrical uniformity, and increasing device yield. In addition, thermal stability of the high resistance state and better retention are also achieved by the doping technology. 3Large-scale blow spinning of heat-resistant nanofibrous air filters显示文摘Particulate matter(PM)pollution has become a serious problem worldwide and various kinds of nanofibrous filters aiming to solve the problem have been developed.It is urgent to remove PM from high-temperature pollution sources,such as industrial emissions,coal furnaces,and automobile exhaust gases.However,filtration at pollution sources remains challenging because most existing air filters are not resistant to high temperature.Herein,heat-resistant polyimide(PI)nanofibrous air filters are fabricated via a simple and scalable solution blow-spinning method.These air filters show excellent thermal stability at high temperature up to 420℃.They exhibit a filtration efficiency as high as 99.73%at ambient temperature and over 97%at 300℃.In addition,a field test shows that the filters remove>97%of PM from the car exhaust fumes.Hence,the blow-spun PI nanofibrous membranes combined with the facile preparation strategy have great potential in high temperature air filtration fields and other similar applications such as water purification and protein separation.Ziwei Li Jianan Song Yuanzheng Long Chao Jia Zhenglian Liu Lei Li Cheng Yang Junchen Liu Sen Lin Haiyang Wang Yibo Liu Minghao Fang Hui Wu 2020Nano Research2020,13,3:6
4A novel approach for designing efficient broadband photodetectors expanding from deep ultraviolet to near infrared显示文摘Broadband photodetection(PD)covering the deep ultraviolet to near-infrared(200–1000 nm)range is significant and desirable for various optoelectronic designs.Herein,we employ ultraviolet(UV)luminescent concentrators(LC),iodinebased perovskite quantum dots(PQDs),and organic bulk heterojunction(BHJ)as the UV,visible,and near-infrared(NIR)photosensitive layers,respectively,to construct a broadband heterojunction PD.Firstly,experimental and theoretical results reveal that optoelectronic properties and stability of CsPbI3 PQDs are significantly improved through Er3+doping,owing to the reduced defect density,improved charge mobility,increased formation energy,tolerance factor,etc.The narrow bandgap of CsPbI3:Er3+PQDs serves as a visible photosensitive layer of PD.Secondly,considering the matchable energy bandgap,the BHJ(BTP-4Cl:PBDB-TF)is selected as to NIR absorption layer to fabricate the hybrid structure with CsPbI3:Er3+PQDs.Thirdly,UV LC converts the UV light(200–400 nm)to visible light(400–700 nm),which is further absorbed by CsPbI3:Er3+PQDs.In contrast with other perovskites PDs and commercial Si PDs,our PD presents a relatively wide response range and high detectivity especially in UV and NIR regions(two orders of magnitude increase that of commercial Si PDs).Furthermore,the PD also demonstrates significantly enhanced air-and UV-stability,and the photocurrent of the device maintains 81.5%of the original one after 5000 cycles.This work highlights a new attempt for designing broadband PDs,which has application potential in optoelectronic devices.Nan Ding Yanjie Wu Wen Xu Jiekai Lyu Yue Wang Lu Zi Long Shao Rui Sun Nan Wang Sen Liu Donglei Zhou Xue Bai Ji Zhou Hongwei Song 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,5:5
5Signalling pathways in autism spectrum disorder:mechanisms and therapeutic implications显示文摘Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is a prevalent and complex neurodevelopmental disorder which has strong genetic basis.Despite the rapidly rising incidence of autism,little is known about its aetiology,risk factors,and disease progression.There are currently neither validated biomarkers for diagnostic screening nor specific medication for autism.Over the last two decades,there have been remarkable advances in genetics,with hundreds of genes identified and validated as being associated with a high risk for autism.The convergence of neuroscience methods is becoming more widely recognized for its significance in elucidating the pathological mechanisms of autism.Efforts have been devoted to exploring the behavioural functions,key pathological mechanisms and potential treatments of autism.Here,as we highlight in this review,emerging evidence shows that signal transduction molecular events are involved in pathological processes such as transcription,translation,synaptic transmission,epigenetics and immunoinflammatory responses.This involvement has important implications for the discovery of precise molecular targets for autism.Moreover,we review recent insights into the mechanisms and clinical implications of signal transduction in autism from molecular,cellular,neural circuit,and neurobehavioural aspects.Finally,the challenges and future perspectives are discussed with regard to novel strategies predicated on the biological features of autism.Chen-Chen Jiang Li-Shan Lin Sen Long Xiao-Yan Ke Kohji Fukunaga Ying-Mei Lu Feng Han 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,8:3

8An Investigation on the Molecular Characteristics and Intracellular Growth Ability among Environmental and Clinical Isolates of Legionella pneumophila in Sichuan Province, China显示文摘Objective To investigate the molecular characteristics and intracellular growth ability of Legionella pneumophila(L. pneumophila) strains from 1989 to 2016 in Sichuan Province, China. Methods Seventy-nine isolates of L. pneumophila were collected from environmental and clinical sources, including cooling towers, hot springs, bath water, fountains, and patients, and identified with 16 S rRNA gene analysis and serum agglutination assay. The isolates were then typed by Sequence-Based Typing(SBT), and Genotyping of forty-two LP1 strains were analyzed by means of multiple-locus VNTR analysis with 8 loci(MLVA-8). All strains were further analyzed for two virulence genes: Legionella vir homologue(lvh) and repeats in structural toxin(rtx A). The intracellular growth ability of 33 selected isolates was determined by examining their interaction with J774 cells. Results All isolates were identified to L. pneumophila including 11 serogroups, among which the main serogroup were LP1, accounting for 54.43%. Thirty-three different sequence types(STs) from five main clonal groups and five singletons were identified, along with 8 different MLVA patterns. Both the lvh and rtx A loci were found in all 79 strains. Thirty isolates showed high intracellular growth ability in J774 cells. 12Life-threatening subclavian artery bleeding following percutaneous coronary intervention with stent implantation:A case report and review of literature显示文摘BACKGROUND Vascular complications of transradial percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)are rare and usually occur at the access site below the elbow.Life-threatening vascular complications during transradial PCI therapy,such as vessel perforation and dissection in the brachiocephalic,subclavian,internal mammary,and thyrocervical arteries,are rarely reported.Subclavian artery bleeding is a potentially serious complication of vascular interventional procedures leading to tracheal obstruction,hemothorax,respiratory failure,hemorrhagic shock,and death if not diagnosed early and treated promptly.CASE SUMMARY A male patient with typical angina pectoris underwent coronary angiography and stent implantation.During the procedure,the patient felt pharyngeal pain and tightness,which we mistook for myocardial ischemia.After PCI,swelling in the right neck and supraclavicular area was observed.The patient experienced dyspnea,emergency endotracheal intubation was performed,and then a sudden drop in blood pressure was observed.Ultrasound and contrast-enhanced computed tomography scans demonstrated a cervical hematoma severely compressing the trachea due to subclavian artery bleeding.Brachiocephalic angiography revealed a vascular injury site at the root of the right subclavian artery at the intersection of the right common carotid artery.A covered stent was deployed to the right subclavian artery with successful sealing of the perforation,and a bare stent was implanted in the junction of the right common carotid and brachiocephalic arteries to prevent obstruction of blood flow to the brain.CONCLUSION Subclavian artery bleeding is a lifethreatening complication of PCI.Early prevention,rapid recognition,and prompt treatment may improve the prognosis.Fei Shi Ying Zhang Li-Xian Sun Sen Long 2022World Journal of Clinical Cases2022,10,6:1

15Evidence on Invasion of Blood,Adipose Tissues,Nervous System and Reproductive System of Mice After a Single Oral Exposure:Nanoplastics versus Microplastics显示文摘Objective This study was designed to provide the evidences on the toxicokinetics of microplastics(MPs)and nanoplastics(NPs)in the bodies of mammals.Methods 100 nm,3μm,and 10μm fluorescent polystyrene(PS)beads were administered to mice once by gavage at a dose of 200 mg/kg body weight.The levels and change of fluorescence intensity in samples of blood,subcutaneous fat,perirenal fat,peritesticular fat,cerebrum,cerebellum,testis,and epididymis were measured at 0.5,1,2,and 4 h after administration using an IVIS Spectrum small-animal imaging system.Histological examination,confocal laser scanning,and transmission electron microscope were performed to corroborate the findings.Results After confirming fluorescent dye leaching and impact of pH value,increased levels of fluorescence intensity in blood,all adipose tissues examined,cerebrum,cerebellum,and testis were measured in the 100 nm group,but not in the 3 and 10μm groups except in the cerebellum and testis at 4 h for the 3μm PS beads.The presence of PS beads was further corroborated.Conclusion After a single oral exposure,NPs are absorbed rapidly in the blood,accumulate in adipose tissues,and penetrate the blood-brain/testis barriers.As expected,the toxicokinetics of MPs is significantly size-dependent in mammals.YANG Zuo Sen BAI Ying Long JIN Cui Hong NA Jun ZHANG Rui GAO Yuan PAN Guo Wei YAN Ling Jun SUN Wei 2022Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2022,35,11:1

20The Uptake and Distribution Evidence of Nano-and Microplastics in vivo after a Single High Dose of Oral Exposure显示文摘Objective Tissue uptake and distribution of nano-/microplastics was studied at a single high dose by gavage in vivo.Methods Fluorescent microspheres(100 nm,3μm,and 10μm)were given once at a dose of 200 mg/(kg∙body weight).The fluorescence intensity(FI)in observed organs was measured using the IVIS Spectrum at 0.5,1,2,and 4 h after administration.Histopathology was performed to corroborate these findings.Results In the 100 nm group,the FI of the stomach and small intestine were highest at 0.5 h,and the FI of the large intestine,excrement,lung,kidney,liver,and skeletal muscles were highest at 4 h compared with the control group(P<0.05).In the 3μm group,the FI only increased in the lung at 2 h(P<0.05).In the 10μm group,the FI increased in the large intestine and excrement at 2 h,and in the kidney at 4 h(P<0.05).The presence of nano-/microplastics in tissues was further verified by histopathology.The peak time of nanoplastic absorption in blood was confirmed.Conclusion Nanoplastics translocated rapidly to observed organs/tissues through blood circulation;however,only small amounts of MPs could penetrate the organs.HONG Tao SUN Wei DENG Yuan LYU Jian Da JIN Cui Hong BAI Ying Long NA Jun ZHANG Rui GAO Yuan PAN Guo Wei YANG Zuo Sen YAN Ling Jun 2024Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2024,37,1:0
