| 1 | Biomedical Perspective of Electrochemical Nanobiosensor显示文摘Electrochemical biosensor holds great promise in the biomedical area due to its enhanced specificity, sensitivity, label-free nature and cost effectiveness for rapid point-of-care detection of diseases at bedside. In this review, we are focusing on the working principle of electrochemical biosensor and how it can be employed in detecting biomarkers of fatal diseases like cancer, AIDS, hepatitis and cardiovascular diseases. Recent advances in the development of implantable biosensors and exploration of nanomaterials in fabrication of electrodes with increasing the sensitivity of biosensor for quick and easy detection of biomolecules have been elucidated in detail. Electrochemical-based detection of heavy metal ions which cause harmful effect on human health has been discussed. | 2 | Coexistence of pneumothorax and chilaiditi sign:A case report显示文摘We present a case of 50 year old male patient with coexistence of Pneumothorax and Chilaiditi sign.Chilaiditi sign is an incidental radiographic finding of a usually asymptomatic condition in which a part of intestine is located between the liver and diaphragm;however,the term'Chilaiditi syndrome'is used for symptomatic hepatodiaphragmatic interposition.The patient had no symptoms of abdominal pain,constipation,diarrhea,or emesis.Incidentally,Chilaiditi sign was diagnosed on chest radiography.Pneumothorax is defined as air in the pleural space.Pneumothoraces are classified as spontaneous or traumatic.Spontaneous pneumothorax is labelled as primary when no underlying lung disease is present,or secondary,when it is associated with pre-existing lung disease.Our case is the rare in the literature indicating the coexistence of Chilaiditi sign and pneumothorax. | Tangri Nitin Singhal Sameer Sharma Priyanka Mehta Dinesh Bansal Sachin Bhushan Neeraj Singla Sulbha Singh Puneet | 2014 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2014，4，1： | 2 |
| 3 | Colloidal lead-free Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)double perovskite nanocrystals:Synthesis,uniform thin-film fabrication,and application in solution-processed solar cells显示文摘Recently developed lead-free double perovskite nanocrystals(NCs)have been proposed for the possible application in solutionprocessed optoelectronic devices.However,the optoelectronic applications of double perovskite NCs have been hampered due to the structural and chemical instability in the presence of polar molecules.Here,we report a facile strategy for the synthesis and purification of Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)double perovskite NCs that remained stable even after washing with polar solvent.This is realized with our efficient colloidal route to synthesize Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)NCs that involve stable and strongly coordinated precursor such as silvertrioctyl phosphine complex together with bismuth neodecanoate,which leads to a significantly improved chemical and colloidal stability.Using layer-by-layer solid-state ligand exchange technique,a compact and crack-free thin film of Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)NCs were fabricated.Finally,perovskite solar cells consisting of Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)as an absorber layer were fabricated and tested. | Razi Ahmad Gautam Virender Nutan Dinesh Singh Govind Gupta Udit Soni Sameer Sapra Ritu Srivastava | 2021 | Nano Research2021，14，4： | 2 |

| 10 | Is nitric oxide level affected in postmenopausal women with hypothyroidism?显示文摘AIM To analyze serum levels of nitric oxide(NO), an indicator of cardiovascular health, in post-menopausal females with and without hypothyroidism.METHODS NO was analyzed colorimetrically in 30 newly diagnosed hypothyroid postmenopausal females and 30 postmenopausal females with normal thyroid profile. Results were compared and subjected to appropriate statisticalanalysis. RESULTS The levels of serum NO were found to be significantly decreased in postmenopausal females with hypothyroidism as compared to the levels in those with normal thyroid profile(P value < 0.05). A negative correlation of NO was observed with thyroid stimulating hormone whereas a positive correlation of NO was observed with free T3(FT3), free T4(FT4), T3 and T4 though it was statistically significant only for FT4 among postmenopausal females with hypothyroidism.CONCLUSION Postmenopausal hypothyroid females may be at a risk of compromised cardiovascular health as indicated by low NO levels.
