| 1 | Review of the diagnosis,classification and management of autoimmune pancreatitis显示文摘Autoimmune pancreatitis(AIP)is a rare form of chronic pancreatitis,with as yet undetermined incidence and prevalence in the general population.Our understanding of it continues to evolve.In the last few years,2separate subtypes have been identified:type 1 AIP has been recognised as the pancreatic manifestation of a multiorgan disease,named immunoglobulin G4(IgG4)-related disease while type 2 AIP is a pancreas specific disorder not associated with IgG4.International criteria for the diagnosis of AIP have been defined:the HISORt criteria from the Mayo clinic,the Japan consensus criteria and,most recently,the international association of pancreatology'International Consensus Diagnostic Criteria'.Despite this,in clinical practice it can still be very difficult to confirm the diagnosis and differenti-ate AIP from a pancreatic cancer.There are no large studies into the long-term prognosis and management of relapses of AIP,and there is even less information at present regarding the Type 2 AIP subtype.Further studies are necessary to clarify the pathogenesis,treatment and long-term outcomes of this disease.Critically for clinicians,making the correct diagnosis and differentiating the disease from pancreatic cancer is of the utmost importance and the greatest challenge. | Derek A O'Reilly Deep J Malde Trish Duncan Madhu Rao Rafik Filobbos | 2014 | World Journal of Gastrointestinal Pathophysiology2014，5，2： | 14 |
| 2 | Heat transfer of copper/water nanofluid flow through converging-diverging channel显示文摘The main objective of this work is to investigate analytically the steady nanofluid flow and heat transfer characteristics between nonparallel plane walls. Using appropriate transformations for the velocity and temperature, the basic nonlinear partial differential equations are reduced to the ordinary differential equations. Then, these equations have been solved analytically and numerically for some values of the governing parameters, Reynolds number, Re, channel half angle, α, Prandtl number, Pr, and Eckert number, Ec, using Adomian decomposition method and the Runge-Kutta method with mathematic package. Analytical and numerical results are searched for the skin friction coefficient, Nusselt number and the velocity and temperature profiles. It is found on one hand that the Nusselt number increases as Eckert number or channel half-angle increases, but it decreases as Reynolds number increases. On the other hand, it is also found that the presence of Cu nanoparticles in a water base fluid enhances heat transfer between nonparallel plane walls and in consequence the Nusselt number increases with the increase of nanoparticles volume fraction. | 3 | 复杂并发症产生在简单并且 polycystic 肝包囊显示文摘 Liver cysts are common,affecting 5%-10% of the population.Most are asymptomatic,however 5% of patients develop symptoms,sometimes due to complications and will require intervention.There is no consensus on their management because complications are so uncommon.The aim of this study was to perform a collected review of how a series of complications were managed at our institutions.Six different patients presenting with rare complications of liver cysts were obtained from Hepatobiliary Units in the United Kingdom and The Netherlands.History and radiological imaging were obtained from case notes and computerised radiology.As a result,1 patient admitted with inferior vena cava obstruction was managed by cyst aspiration and lanreotide;1 patient with common bile duct obstruction was first managed by endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography and stenting,followed by open fenestration;1 patient with ruptured cysts and significant medical co-morbidities was managed by percutaneous drainage;1 patient with portal vein occlusion and varices was managed by open liver resection;1 patient with infected cysts was treated with intravenous antibiotics and is awaiting liver transplantation.The final patient with a simple liver cyst mimicking a hydatid was managed by open liver resection.In conclusion,complications of cystic liver disease are rare,and we have demonstrated in this series that both operative and non-operative strategies have defined roles in management.The mainstays of treatment are either aspiration/sclerotherapy or,alternatively laparoscopic fenestration.Medical management with somatostatin analogues is a potentially new and exciting treatment option but requires further study. | Christian Macutkiewicz Ricci Plastow Melissa Chrispijn Rafik Filobbos Basil A Ammori David J Sherlock Joost PH Drenth Derek A O’Reilly | 2012 | World Journal of Hepatology2012，4，12： | 10 |

| 5 | Testicular torsion in undescended testis:A persistent challenge显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the management and outcomes of patients who presented with torsion of an undescended testis and review the reported series in the literature.Methods:The case records of 13 patients operated for testicular torsion involving undescended testis were retrospectively reviewed.The medical records included age at presentation,medical history,physical examination,operative findings and the results of follow-up.The diagnosis of torsion of undescended testis was made clinically and confirmed by inguinal exploration.Results:In six cases the testis was preserved and orchiopexy was performed,while in seven cases orchidectomy was performed due to testicular gangrene in six patients and testicular tumor discovered peroperatively in one case.Mean duration of symptoms at time of surgery in the orchiopexy group was 6.5 h and in the orchidectomy group was 21.2 h.From six patients treated by orchiopexy,two patients suffered from testicular atrophy at a mean of 24 months.Conclusion:Testicular torsion in undescended testis is still diagnosed with delay which may affect testicular salvage.The importance of examination of external genital organs is highlighted which should be routinely included by emergency physicians in physical examination for abdominal or groin pain. | Sahbi Naouar Salem Braiek Rafik El Kamel | 2017 | Asian Journal of Urology2017，4，2： | 5 |
| 6 | Nickel ferrite spinel as catalyst precursor in the dry reforming of methane:Synthesis,characterization and catalytic properties显示文摘Dry reforming of methane by CO2 using nickel ferrite as precursor of catalysts was investigated.Nickel ferrite crystalline particles were prepared by coprecipitation of nitrates with NaOH or ammonia followed by calcination,or by hydrothermal synthesis without calcination step.The textural and structural properties were determined by a number of analysis methods,including X-ray diffraction (XRD),Raman spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS),among which X-ray diffraction (XRD) was at room and variable temperatures.All synthesized oxides showed the presence of micro or nanoparticles of NiFe2O4 inverse spinel,but Fe2O3 (hematite) was also present when ammonia was used for coprecipitation.The reducibility by hydrogen was studied by temperature-programmed reduction (TPR) and in situ XRD,which showed the influence of the preparation method.The surface area (BET),particle size (Rietveld refinement),as well as surface Ni/Fe atomic ratio (XPS) and the behavior upon reduction varied according to the synthesis method.The catalytic reactivity was investigated using isopropanol decomposition to determine the acid/base properties.The catalytic performance of methane reforming with CO2 was measured with and without the pre-treatment of catalysts under H2 in 650-800 C range.The catalytic conversions of methane and CO2 were quite low but they increased when the catalysts were pre-reduced.A significant contribution of reverse water gas shift reaction accounted for the low values of H2 /CO ratio.No coking was observed as shown by the reoxidation step performed after the catalytic reactions.The possible formation of nickel-iron alloy observed during the study of reducibility by hydrogen was invoked to account for the catalytic behavior. | Rafik Benrabaa Hamza Boukhlouf Axel Lfberg Annick Rubbens Rose-Nelle Vannier Elisabeth Bordes-Richard Akila Barama | 2012 | Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2012，21，5： | 5 |
