1Generalized thermal resistance for convective heat transfer and its relation to entransy dissipation显示文摘In order to further analyze and optimize convective heat transfer process further, the concepts of heat flux weighted average heat temperature and heat flux weighted average heat temperature difference in multi-dimensional heat transfer system were introduced in this paper. The ratio of temperature difference to heat flux is defined as the generalized thermal resistance of convective heat transfer processes, and then the minimum thermal resistance theory for convective heat transfer optimization was developed. By analyzing the relationship between generalized thermal resistance and entansy dissipation in convective heat transfer processes, it can be concluded that the minimum thermal resistance theory equals the entransy dissipation extremum theory. Finally, a two-dimensional convective heat transfer process with constant wall temperature is taken as an example to illustrate the applicability of generalized thermal resistance to convective heat transfer process analysis and optimization.CHEN Qun REN JianXun 2008Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,23:51
2The extremum principle of mass entransy dissipation and its application to decontamination ventilation designs in space station cabins显示文摘In terms of the analogy between mass and heat transfer phenomena, a new physical quantity, i.e. mass entransy, is introduced to represent the ability of an object for transferring mass to outside. Meanwhile, the mass entransy dissipation occurs during mass transfer processes as an alternative to measure the mass transfer irreversibility. Then the concepts of mass entransy and its dissipation are used to develop the extremum principle of mass entransy dissipation and the corresponding method for convective mass transfer optimization, based on which an Euler's equation has been deduced as the optimization equation for the fluid flow to obtain the best convective mass transfer performance with some specific constraints. As an example, the ventilation process for removing gaseous pollutants in a space station cabin with a uniform air supply system has been optimized to reduce the energy consumption of the ventilation system and decrease the contaminant concentration in the cabin. By solving the op- timization equation, an optimal air velocity distribution with the best decontamination performance for a given viscous dissipation is firstly obtained. With the guide of this optimal velocity field, a suitable concentrated air supply system with appropriate air inlet position and width has been designed to replace the uniform air supply system, which leads to the averaged and the maximum contaminant concentrations in the cabin been decreased by 75% and 60%, respectively, and the contaminant concentration near the contaminant source surface been decreased by 50%, while the viscous dissipation been reduced by 30% simultaneously.CHEN Qun REN JianXun GUO ZengYuan 2009Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,16:26
3Metabonomics analysis of the urine of rats with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome based on NMR techniques显示文摘Metabonomics analysis of the urine of rats with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome has been performed by comparison with those of normal rats based on NMR techniques. The relative contents of formate,creatinine,2-oxoglutarate(2-OG) ,citrate,taurine,trimethylamine-N-oxide(TMAO) ,succinate and hippurate in the urine of the rats with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome have been changed. 5Effects of Sc doping on electrical conductivity of BaZrO_3 protonic conductors显示文摘BaZr1-xScxO3-0.5x (x=0.07,0.10,0.13,0.16) powders were prepared by solid-state reaction method,and ZnO was used as sintering aid.Samples with different amount of ZnO additive were sintered at 1450·C for 6 h in air.Single cubic perovskite phase proton conductors were obtained.Conductivity was measured by electrochemical workstation.It was shown that Sc doping could increase conductivity through enhancing the carrier concentration in the material,but excessive Sc content might decrease the carrier concentration because of its charge compensation.ZnO had an influence on carrier concentration and mobility and affected the electrical conductivity.2 mol% ZnO and 13 mol% ScO1.5 doped sample showed the highest DC conductivity of 3.6×10-3 S·cm-1 tested at 800·C in wet hydrogen atmosphere.Guo, Ruisong Wu, Lijun Ren, Jianxun Zhang, Jianfang Jiang, Hong 2012Rare Metals2012,31,1:2
6Functional Link Neural Network for Predicting Crystallization Temperature of Ammonium Chloride in Air Cooler System显示文摘The air cooler is an important equipment in the petroleum refining industry.Ammonium chloride(NH4 Cl)deposition-induced corrosion is one of its main failure forms.In this study,the ammonium salt crystallization temperature is chosen as the key decision variable of NH4 Cl deposition-induced corrosion through in-depth mechanism research and experimental analysis.The functional link neural network(FLNN)is adopted as the basic algorithm for modeling because of its advantages in dealing with non-linear problems and its fast-computational ability.A hybrid FLNN attached to a small norm is built to improve the generalization performance of the model.Then,the trained model is used to predict the NH4 Cl salt crystallization temperature in the air cooler of a sour water stripper plant.Experimental results show the proposed improved FLNN algorithm can achieve better generalization performance than the PLS,the back propagation neural network,and the conventional FLNN models.Jin Haozhe Gu Yong Ren Jia Wu Xiangyao Quan Jianxun Xu Linfengyi 2020China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2020,22,2:2
7Control of CD4^(+) T cells to restrain inflammatory diseases via eukaryotic elongation factor 2 kinase显示文摘CD4^(+)T cells,particularly IL-17-secreting helper CD4^(+)T cells,play a central role in the inflammatory processes underlying autoimmune disorders.Eukaryotic Elongation Factor 2 Kinase(eEF2K)is pivotal in CD8^(+)T cells and has important implications in vascular dysfunction and inflammation-related diseases such as hypertension.However,its specific immunological role in CD4^(+)T cell activities and related inflammatory diseases remains elusive.Our investigation has uncovered that the deficiency of eEF2K disrupts the survival and proliferation of CD4^(+)T cells,impairs their ability to secrete cytokines.Notably,this dysregulation leads to heightened production of pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-17,fosters a pro-inflammatory microenvironment in the absence of eEF2K in CD4^(+)T cells.Furthermore,the absence of eEF2K in CD4^(+)T cells is linked to increased metabolic activity and mitochondrial bioenergetics.We have shown that eEF2K regulates mitochondrial function and CD4^(+)T cell activity through the upregulation of the transcription factor,signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3).Crucially,the deficiency of eEF2K exacerbates the severity of inflammation-related diseases,including rheumatoid arthritis,multiple sclerosis,and ulcerative colitis.Strikingly,the use of C188-9,a small molecule targeting STAT3,mitigates colitis in a murine immunodeficiency model receiving eEF2K knockout(KO)CD4^(+)T cells.These findings emphasize the pivotal role of eEF2K in controlling the function and metabolism of CD4^(+)T cells and its indispensable involvement in inflammation-related diseases.Manipulating eEF2K represents a promising avenue for novel therapeutic approaches in the treatment of inflammation-related disorders.Hao-Yun Peng Liqing Wang Jugal Kishore Das Anil Kumar Darby JBallard Yijie Ren Xiaofang Xiong Paul de Figueiredo Jin-Ming Yang Jianxun Song 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,11:1
