1Metabonomics analysis of the urine of rats with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome based on NMR techniques显示文摘Metabonomics analysis of the urine of rats with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome has been performed by comparison with those of normal rats based on NMR techniques. The relative contents of formate,creatinine,2-oxoglutarate(2-OG) ,citrate,taurine,trimethylamine-N-oxide(TMAO) ,succinate and hippurate in the urine of the rats with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome have been changed. 3Geochemical Characteristics,Genesis of Concealed Cu-rich Ore Body in the Jinchuan Deposit,Northwestern China,and Its Prospecting显示文摘The Jinchuan deposit is hosted by the olivine-rich ultramafic rock body, which is the third-largest magmatic sulfide Ni-Cu deposit in the world currently being exploited. Seeking new relaying resources in the deep and the border of the deposit becomes more and more important. The ore body, ore and geochemistry characteristics of the concealed Cu-rich ore body are researched. Through spatial analysis and comparison with the neighboring Ⅱ1 main ore body, the mineralization rule of the concealed Cu-rich ore body is summed up. It is also implied that Cu-rich magma may exist between Ni-rich magma and ore pulp during liquation differentiation in deep-stage chambers, which derives from deep-mantle Hi-MgO basalt magma. It is concluded that the type of ore body has features of both magmatic liquation and late reconstruction action. It has experienced three stages: deep liquation and pulsatory injection of the Cu- and PPGE-rich magma, concentration of tectonic activation, and the later magma hydrothermal superimposition. In addition, the Pb and S isotopes indicate the magma of I6 concealed Cu-rich ore body originates predominantly from mantle; however, it is interfused by minute crust material. 8Spectroscopic studies of the interaction between methyleneblue and G-quadruplex显示文摘G-rich single-stranded DNA (5′-TTAG-GG-3′) adopted a G-quadruplex structure in buffercontaining potassium ions. 12Nutrition impacts of non-solid cooking fuel adoption on under-five children in developing countries显示文摘This paper examines the nutrition impacts of using non-solid cooking fuel on under-five children in developing countries.We draw on data from more than 1.12 million children in 62 developing countries from the Demographic and Health Surveys(DHS).Results from both fixed effects(FE)and instrumental variable(IV)estimates show that using non-solid cooking fuel significantly improves the nutrition outcomes of under-five children.Compared with their peers from households mainly using solid fuel,children from households mainly using non-solid fuel exhibit a lower probability of experiencing stunting(by 5.9 percentage points)and being underweight(by 1.2 percentage points).Our further investigation provides evidence for several underlying mechanisms,such as improved indoor air quality,induced reduction in children’s respiratory symptoms,benefits on maternal health,and reduction in maternal time spent on fuel collection or cooking.Heterogenous analyses suggest that the nutrition benefits of using non-solid cooking fuel are more prominent among boys,children above three years old,and those from households of lower socioeconomic status,rural areas,and Southeast Asia.Yalin Tang Yuhe Guo Gang Xie Chengfang Liu 2024Journal of Integrative Agriculture2024,23,2:1
13Novel sintering behavior of polystyrene nano-latex particles in filming process显示文摘Filming process of polystyrene nano-latex (NPS) particles was studied by a combination of various methods. For a constant annealing time of 1 h, the AFM images showed that the deformation and sintering temperatures for NFS particles were ca. 90 ℃ and 100 ℃ respectively. In spin-lattice relaxation measurements of solid state NMR, it is found that TIL, T1S and /1L/I0 increased significantly after annealing at 90℃ and above. DSC results showed that there was an exothermic peak near Tg after annealing for 1 h at the selected temperatures below 95℃; otherwise, the exothermic peak disappeared after annealing at 100℃ or above. The apparent density of NPS increased suddenly in the temperature range. 16Ruscogenin alleviates LPS-triggered pulmonary endothelial barrier dysfunction through targeting NMMHC IIA to modulate TLR4signaling显示文摘Pulmonary endothelial barrier dysfunction is a hallmark of clinical pulmonary edema and contributes to the development of acute lung injury(ALI).Here we reported that ruscogenin(RUS),an effective steroidal sapogenin of Radix Ophiopogon japonicus,attenuated lipopolysaccharides(LPS)-induced pulmonary endothelial barrier disruption through mediating non-muscle myosin heavy chain IIA(NMMHC IIA)-Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)interactions.By in vivo and in vitro experiments,we observed that RUS administration significantly ameliorated LPS-triggered pulmonary endothelial barrier dysfunction and ALI.Moreover,we identified that RUS directly targeted NMMHC IIA on its N-terminal and head domain by serial affinity chromatography,molecular docking,biolayer interferometry,and microscale thermophoresis analyses.Downregulation of endothelial NMMHC IIA expression in vivo and in vitro abolished the protective effect of RUS.It was also observed that NMMHC IIA was dissociated from TLR4 and then activating TLR4 downstream Src/vascular endothelial cadherin(VE-cadherin)signaling in pulmonary vascular endothelial cells after LPS treatment,which could be restored by RUS.Collectively,these findings provide pharmacological evidence showing that RUS attenuates LPS-induced pulmonary endothelial barrier dysfunction by inhibiting TLR4/Src/VE-cadherin pathway through targeting NMMHC IIA and mediating NMMHC IIA-TLR4 interactions.Yunhao Wu Xiu Yu Yuwei Wang Yalin Huang Jiahui Tang Shuaishuai Gong Siyu Jiang Yuanli Xia Fang Li Boyang Yu Yuanyuan Zhang Junping Kou 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,3:0
17Roles of flanking sequences in the binding between unimolecular parallel-stranded G-quadruplexes and ligands显示文摘G-quadruplexes attract more and more attention in recent years.Numerous small molecules which can induce or stabilize the formation of G-quadruplexes have been investigated on the purpose of anticancer drug development.As a motif existed in physiological condition,flanking sequences are an important part of G-quadruplexes but the study on the impact of flanking sequences on (G-quadruplex)-ligand binding is rarely reported.In this paper,the effects of flanking sequences on binding affinity between a series of unimolecular parallel-stranded G-quadruplex sequences derived from c-myc oncogene promoter (termed as c-myc G-quadruplexes) and their ligands are discussed in detail.The results showed that the flanking sequences on c-myc G-quadruplexes play key roles in (G-quadruplex)-ligand interaction.When a c-myc G-quadruplex is bound to its ligands,the flanking sequences might form a binding cavity above the terminal G-quartet,which could provide a suitable site for ligands to dock in.Moreover,the bases on flanking sequences could interact with ligand through π-π stacking,and finally form a sandwich-stacking mode (terminal G-quartet,ligand and bases on the flanking sequence).This mode could stabilize the (G-quadruplex)-ligand complex effectively and enhance the binding affinity dramatically.However,flanking sequences are also found to exhibit steric hindrance effect which could impede the (G-quadruplex)-ligand binding.GAI Wei YANG QianFan XIANG JunFeng SUN HongXia SHANG Qian LI Qian JIANG Wei GUAN AiJiao ZHANG Hong TANG YaLin XU GuangZhi 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,3:0
18Kinetic characterization of a slow chemical exchange between two sites in N,N-dimethylacetylamide by CEST NMR spectroscopy显示文摘Nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)spectroscopy has provided many powerful tools for the study of dynamic processes.Among the reported methods,chemical exchange saturation transfer(CEST)is more suitable for systems with slow exchange rates,and there will be promising in the detection and dynamic mechanism of metastable substances.It has been widely used in magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),however whether it is applicable in the field of chemical kinetics needs more examples.Here we studied,as a proof of concept,the kinetics of the slow chemical exchange between the two N-methyl protons of N,N-dimethylacetylamide(DMA),exploiting QUantifying Exchange using Z-spectrum(QUEZS)and QUantifying Exchange using Saturation Time(QUEST)methods.It turned out that both of QUEZS and QUEST could give the corresponding exchange rates,showcasing the capability of this method to provide accurate kinetic data under a range of temperatures.Our results clearly demonstrated the reliability of CEST-based techniques as a tool for dynamic kinetics by NMR.Lixia Wang Jikun Li Junfeng Xiang Jie Cui Yalin Tang 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,9:0
19A direct measurement method of quantum relaxation time显示文摘The quantum relaxation time of electrons in condensed matters is an important physical property,but its direct measurement has been elusive for a century.Here,we report a breakthrough that allows direct determination of quantum relaxation time at zero and non-zero frequencies using optical measurement.Through dielectric loss function,we connect bound electron effects to the physical parameters of plasma resonance and find an extra term of quantum relaxation time from inelastic scattering between bound electrons and conduction electrons at non-zero frequencies.We demonstrate here that the frequency-dependent inelastic polarization effect of bound electrons is the dominant contribution to quantum relaxation time of conduction electrons at optical frequencies,and the elastic polarization effect of bound electrons also dramatically changes the plasma resonance frequency through effective screening to charge carriers.Peng Zhang Haoqi Tang Chuanchuan Gu Hong Wang Guangfu Luo Yalin Lu X.-D.Xiang 2021National Science Review2021,8,4:0
20An important functional group, benzo[1,3]dioxole, of alkaloids induces the formation of the human telomeric DNA G-quadruplex显示文摘Over the past few decades, numerous molecules have been discovered or designed to interact efficiently and selectively with a peculiar DNA structure named G-quadruplex. Some of these molecules have been developed as anticancer agents. To aid the design of anticancer agents, the ability of alkaloids possessing Protoberberine and Benzophenanthridine groups to induce the formation of G-quadruplexes were studied using CD spectroscopy. By careful examination of their structures, we found that a benzo[1,3]dioxole group plays an important role in influencing their inductive properties.
