| 2 | Selective laser melting 3D printing of Ni-based superalloy: understanding thermodynamic mechanisms显示文摘A mesoscopic model has been established to investigate the thermodynamic mechanisms and densification behavior of nickel-based superalloy during additive manufacturing/three-dimensional(3D) printing(AM/3DP)by numerical simulation, using a finite volume method(FVM). The influence of the applied linear energy density(LED) on dimensions of the molten pool, thermodynamic mechanisms within the pool, bubbles migration and resultant densification behavior of AM/3DP-processed superalloy has been discussed. It reveals that the center of the molten pool slightly shifts with a lagging of 4 lm towards the center of the moving laser beam. The Marangoni convection, which has various flow patterns, plays a crucial role in intensifying the convective heat and mass transfer, which is responsible for the bubbles migration and densification behavior of AM/3DP-processed parts. At an optimized LED of 221.5 J/m, the outward convection favors the numerous bubbles to escape from the molten pool easily and the resultant considerably high relative density of 98.9 % is achieved. However, as the applied LED further increases over 249.5 J/m, the convection pattern is apparently intensified with the formation of vortexes and the bubbles tend to be entrapped by the rotating flow within the molten pool, resulting in a large amount of residual porosity and a sharp reduction in densification of the superalloy. | 10 | Defect of SLC38A3 promotes epithelial-mesenchymal transition and predicts poor prognosis in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘Objective: Solute carrier family 38(SLC38 s) transporters play important roles in amino acid transportation and signaling transduction. However, their genetic alterations and biological roles in tumors are still largely unclear.This study aimed to elucidate the genetic signatures of SLC38 s transporters and their implications in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC).Methods: Analyses on somatic mutation and copy number alterations(CNAs) of SLC38 A3 were performed as described. Immunohistochemistry(IHC) assay and Western blot assay were used to detect the protein expression level. MTS assay, colony formation assay, transwell assay and wound healing assay were used to explore the malignant phenotypes of ESCC cells. Immunofluorescence assay was used to verify the colocalization of two indicated proteins and immunopreciptation assay was performed to confirm the interaction of proteins.Results: Our findings revealed that SLC38 s family was significantly disrupted in ESCC, with high frequent CNAs and few somatic mutations. SLC38 A3 was the most frequent loss gene among them and was linked to poor survival and lymph node metastasis. The expression of SLC38 A3 was lower in tumor tissues compared to that in normal tissues, which was also significantly associated with worse clinical outcome. Further experiments revealed that depletion of SLC38 A3 could promote EMT in ESCC cell lines, and the interaction of SLC38 A3 and SETDB1 might lead to the reduced transcription of Snail. Here, we report the fabrication of periodically nano-patterned Si structures by using polystyrene nano-sphere lithography technique. By changing the diameter of nano-spheres and the dry etching parameters, such as etching time and etching power, the morphologies of formed Si nano-structures can be well controlled as revealed by atomic force microscopy.A good broadband antireflection property has been achieved for the formed periodically nano-patterned Si structures though they have the low aspect ratio(<0.53). The reflection can be significantly reduced compared with that of flat Si substrate in a wavelength range from 400 nm to 1200 nm. | 15 | Microstructure,oxidation behavior and tribological properties of AlCrN/Cu coatings deposited by a hybrid PVD technique显示文摘Achieving high hardness and low friction at elevated temperatures for nitride-based hard coatings has substantial scientific interest and application significance.In this study,AlCrN/Cu coatings were deposited by a hybrid PVD technique combining arc evaporation from an Al_(60)Cr_(40) target and magnetron sputtering from a Cu target in a mixed Ar and N_(2) atmosphere.The microstructure,oxidation behavior,and tribological properties of the coatings were investigated.AlCrN/Cu coatings show a dual-phase structure of(Al,Cr)N solid solution and Cu metallic phase.Excessive sputtering power of the Cu target induces the disintegration of interlayer interfaces of the nano-multilayered geometry,accompanied by a decline in hardness from above 30 GPa to 22.7 GPa.Moreover,the formation of fine CuO grains on the coating surface is conducive to reducing the friction coefficient of AlCrN/Cu when exposed to air at high temperatures.The AlCrN/Cu coating with a sputtering power of 0.5 kW obtains a friction coefficient of 0.39±0.05 after pre-oxidation at 800℃,distinctly lower than that of AlCrN,which exhibits a friction coefficient of~0.65.The further transformation of CuO to cubic Cu(Al,Cr)_(2)O_(4),which stems from the solid-state reaction of CuO,Al_(2)O_(3),and Cr_(2)O_(3),would cause a rise in friction coefficient and wear loss.The mechanism of oxidation and tribological behavior of the AlCrN/Cu coatings related to the temperature and Cu content was discussed. | Dongsen Geng Haiqing Li Ziliang Chen Yu.X.Xu Qimin Wang | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,5: | 0 |
