2MONTE CARLO SIMULATION STUDY OF SURFACE ELECTRONIC EXCITATION OF NOBLE METALS显示文摘In this work we present a numerical simulation of REELS-spectrum for noble metals, Au and Ag. The calculation is based on an electron-surface inelastic scattering model previously developed. The differential inelastic cross section is obtained from an inhomogeneous electron self-energy in the surface region, which provides full information of the dependency of the total and differential cross section on the kinetic energy, the distance from the surface and the moving direction of electrons, accommodating the formulation to the practical situation in surface electron spectroscopes. A novel Monte Carlo simulation code of electron interaction with a surface incorporating the local scattering mean free path has been developed. The comparison of the simulated REELS-spectra with the experimental measurements shows a remarkable agreement on the spectrum shape, which then confirms that the present model for electron-surface inelastic scattering is quite reasonable. The simulation has further shown the component to surface excitation due to the individual scattering processes along trajectory part, i.e., the loss in vacuum before reflection, the loss in vacuum after reflection and loss in metal events.H.M. 7A MODEL FOR THE ACTIVITY COEFFICIENTS OF WATER IN THE AQUEOUS SOLUTION OF HCl-MCl_n (M=Ni, Cu, Na AND Fe) WITHCONSTANT CONCENTRATION RATIO XHCl/XMCl_n显示文摘In orber to calculate the activity coefficients of water in the aqueous solution systems of double electrolytes, HCl and MCln (M=Ni, Cu,Na and Fe), a simplified regular solution model has been derived based on the assumption that the electrolytes in the aqueous solution are treated as independent particles instead of their ion forms, and that the interaction of the component pair HCl-MCln in the aqueous solution is very weak as compared with the component pairs HCl-H2O and H2 O-MCln. The interchange energies of the component pairs in the discussed systems, ωWCl-H2o, ωH2o-NiCl2,ωH2o-CuCl2, ωH2o-NaCl and ωH2O-FeCl3, have been evaluated from the experimental data to be-69800, -212600, -90550, -42450 and -198310J·mol-1.Q.R. 9SYNTHESIS AND IDENTIFICATION OF CONDUCTING POLYANILINE DOPED WITH RARE EARTH CHLORIDE显示文摘Polyaniline doped with rare earth chloride was synthcsized in organic solvent and identified by clemental analysis and ithered spectroscopy. The experimental results show that there exist both doping and complexation at the same time in the resulting product. When pH<4, prototnic acid doping is predominating, whereas rare earth ion complexation is predominating when pH>1.
