| 1 | A study of fire propagation in coal seam with numerical simulation of heat transfer and chemical reaction rate in mining field显示文摘Spontaneous combustion of coal is a problem that affects the mining operation and generates environ-mental,economic,social and geotechnical impacts.This phenomenon has been divided into two pro-cesses:ignition and propagation.Fire propagation develops in coal seams because of a set of factors such as direction and wind speed,fracturing and temperature.In this work,heat transfer and chemical kinetics are studied from conservation equations of energy and species,respectively,using the software COMSOL Multiphysics to simulate the propagation of fires in coal seams.Two possible scenarios were analyzed that usually occur in the walls of the coal seams,such as fire focus and fire complete screens.It was found that the propagation kinetics of the fire changes depending on the temperature,the fractur-ing of rock mass and the area of fire influence.For temperature values lower than 300℃,there is con-sumption around 250 cm^3/h,values around 700℃,the consumption is 1500 cm^3/h,and for fires of 1200℃ have values of 3000 cm^3/h.Depending on the speed of propagation can vary from 4 to 17cm/day,considering on the level and fracturing of the final wall of the open pit. | Moisés Oswaldo Bustamante Rúa Alan José Daza Aragón Pablo Bustamante Baena | 2019 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2019，29，6： | 8 |

| 4 | Endoscopic or percutaneous biliary drainage in hilar cholangiocarcinoma:When and how?显示文摘Hilar cholangiocarcinoma (hCCA) is a primary liver tumor associated with a dimprognosis. The role of preoperative and palliative biliary drainage has long beendebated. The most common techniques are endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP) and percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage (PTBD);however, recently developed endoscopic ultrasound-assisted methods are gainingmore atention. Selecting the best available method in any specific scenario iscrucial, yet sometimes challenging. Thus, this review aimed to discuss theavailable techniques, indications, perks, pitfalls, and timing-related issues in themanagement of hCCA. In a preoperative setting, PTBD appears to have someadvantages: low risk of postprocedural complications (namely cholangitis) andbetter priming for surgery. | 5 | Multimodality functional imaging using DW-MRI and 18F-FDG-PET/CT during radiation therapy for human papillomavirus negative head and neck squamous cell carcinoma: Meixoeiro Hospital of Vigo Experience显示文摘AIM To noninvasively investigate tumor cellularity measured using diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging(DW-MRI) and glucose metabolism measured by 18 Flabeled fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography(18F-FDG-PET/CT) during radiation therapy(RT) for human papillomavirus negative(HPV-) head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC).METHODS In this prospective study, 6 HPV- HNSCC patients underwent a total of 34 multimodality imaging examinations(DW-MRI at 1.5 T Philips MRI scanner [(n = 24) pre-, during-(2-3 wk), and post-treatment(Tx), and 18F-FDG PET/CT pre- and post-Tx(n = 10)]. All patients received RT. Monoexponential modeling of the DW-MRI data yielded the imaging metric apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC) and the mean of standardized uptake value(SUV) was measured from 18F-FDG PET uptake. All patients had a clinical follow-up as the standard of care and survival status was documented at 1 year.RESULTS There was a strong negative correlation between the mean of pretreatment ADC(ρ =-0.67, P = 0.01) and the pretreatment 18F-FDG PET SUV. The percentage(%) change in delta(?)
