5An air quality forecasting system in Beijing-Application to the study of dust storm events in China in May 2008显示文摘An air pollution forecast system,ARIA Regional,was implemented in 2007-2008 at the Beijing Municipality Environmental Monitoring Center,providing daily forecast of main pollutant concentrations.The chemistry-transport model CHIMERE was coupled with the dust emission model MB95 for restituting dust storm events in springtime so as to improve forecast results.Dust storm events were sporadic but could be extremely intense and then control air quality indexes close to the source areas but also far in the Beijing area.A dust episode having occurred at the end of May 2008 was analyzed in this article,and its impact of particulate matter on the Chinese air pollution index (API) was evaluated.Following our estimation,about 23 Tg of dust were emitted from source areas in Mongolia and in the Inner Mongolia of China,transporting towards southeast.This episode of dust storm influenced a large part of North China and East China,and also South Korea.The model result was then evaluated using satellite observations and in situ data.The simulated daily concentrations of total suspended particulate at 6:00 UTC had a similar spatial pattern with respect to OMI satellite aerosol index.Temporal evolution of dust plume was evaluated by comparing dust aerosol optical depth (AOD) calculated from the simulations with AOD derived from MODIS satellite products.Finally,the comparison of reported Chinese API in Beijing with API calculated from the simulation including dust emissions had showed the significant improvement of the model results taking into accountmineral dust correctly.Benoit Laurent Fanny Velay-Lasry Richard Ngo Claude Derognat Batrice Marticorena Armand Albergel 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,1:9

8Sulfur-containing compounds as electrolyte additives for lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Originating from“rocking-chair concept”,lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)have become one of the most important electrochemical energy storage technolo-gies,which have largely impacted our daily life.The utilization of electrolyte additives in small quantities(≤5%by wt or vol)has been long viewed as an economical and efficient approach to regulate the properties of electrolyte and electrode–electrolyte interphases and consequently improve the cycling perfor-mance of LIBs.Among all the kinds of electrolyte additives,sulfur-containing compounds have gained significant attention due to their unique features in building stable electrode–electrolyte interphases and protect battery cells from overcharging.In this work,advances and progresses of sulfur-containing addi-tives used in LIBs are overviewed,with special attention paid to the working mechanisms of these electrolyte additives.Particularly,four representative sulfur-containing compounds(i.e.,1,3-propane sultone,prop-1-ene-1,3-sultone,1,3,2-dioxathiolane-2,2-dioxide,and ethylene sulfite)are comparatively dis-cussed concerning their impact on electrode–electrolyte interphases and cell per-formances.Future work on the development of sulfur-containing compounds as functional electrolyte additives is also provided.The present review is antici-pated to be not only a base document to access the status quo in this research domain but also a guideline to select specialized additives and electrolytes for practical applications.Bo Tong Ziyu Song Huihai Wan Wenfang Feng Michel Armand Jincheng Liu Heng Zhang Zhibin Zhou 2021InfoMat2021,3,12:6
9环氧树脂-地聚物复合涂层材料耐海水腐蚀性研究显示文摘地聚物具有优异的耐化学腐蚀性能,但易收缩开裂的缺点限制了其在混凝土保护涂层中的应用。为了提高地聚物的延展性和体积稳定性,本研究合成了环氧树脂-地聚物(EG)复合材料。通过力学试验、海水浸泡试验、线性极化电极试验、扫描电子显微镜和N 2-吸附BJH试验,探讨了EG作为海洋混凝土涂层的可行性,研究了树脂掺量对EG在海水环境中的耐腐蚀性和耐久性的影响。与纯地聚物相比,树脂掺量为20%~30%时,EG在室温养护过程中和湿-干循环后的收缩率均有所降低,且经历海水浸泡56 d后EG的残余强度高于地聚物。对于EG涂层,其与混凝土基材的粘结强度和抗氯离子渗透性随着树脂掺量的增加而提高。经过3轮海水湿-干循环后,树脂掺量为30%的EG涂层试件的线性极化电阻约为未涂层试件的11倍。微观结构表征表明,树脂的加入减小了地聚物主要孔隙尺寸,提高了地聚物的致密性,有助于降低地聚物的收缩率,提高地聚物的耐久性。研究结果表明,EG复合材料作为海工混凝土防腐涂层具有良好的应用潜力。ZEZE Armande Loraine Phalé 徐红岩 张默 马国伟 2021材料导报2021,35,S01:4
10Use of testicular sperm in couples with SCSA-defined high sperm DNA fragmentation and failed intracytoplasmic sperm injection using ejaculated sperm显示文摘Sperm DNA fragmentation(SDF)has been linked with male infertility,and previous studies suggest that SDF can have negative influence on pregnancy outcomes with assisted reproduction.We performed a retrospective review of consecutive couples with a high SDF level that had intracytoplasmic sperm injection(ICSI)using testicular sperm(T-ICSI).We compared the T-ICSI outcomes to that of two control groups:87 couples with failed first ICSI cycle and who had a second ICSI cycle using ejaculated sperm(Ej-ICSI),and 48 consecutive couples with high sperm chromatin structure assay(SCSA)-defined SDF(>15%)that underwent an ICSI cycle using ejaculated sperm after one or more failed ICSI cycles(Ej-ICSI-high SDF).The mean number of oocytes that were retrieved and the total number of embryos were not different among the three groups.The mean number of transferred embryos in the T-ICSI group was higher than the Ej-ICSI group but not significantly different than the Ej-ICSI-high SDF group(1.4,1.2,and 1.3,respectively,P<0.05).Clinical pregnancy rate in the T-ICSI group was not significantly different than the Ej-ICSI and Ej-ICSI-high SDF groups(48.6%,48.2%,and 38.7%,respectively,P>0.05).No significant difference was found in live birth rate when comparing T-ICSI to Ej-ICSI and Ej-ICSI-high SDF groups.The results suggest that pregnancy outcomes and live birth rates with T-ICSI are not significantly superior to Ej-ICSI in patients with an elevated SCSA-defined sperm DNA fragmentation and prior ICSI failure(s).Mohannad Alharbi Fadl Hamouche Simon Phillips Jacques Isaac Kadoch Armand Zini 2020Asian Journal of Andrology2020,22,4:4
11Main outcomes from in situ thermo-hydro-mechanical experiments programme to demonstrate feasibility of radioactive high-level waste disposal in the Callovo-Oxfordian claystone显示文摘In the context of radioactive waste disposal,an underground research laboratory(URL)is a facility in which experiments are conducted to demonstrate the feasibility of constructing and operating a radioactive waste disposal facility within a geological formation.The Meuse/Haute-Marne URL is a sitespecific facility planned to study the feasibility of a radioactive waste disposal in the Callovo-Oxfordian(COx)claystone.The thermo-hydro-mechanical(THM)behaviour of the host rock is significant for the design of the underground nuclear waste disposal facility and for its long-term safety.The French National Radioactive Waste Management Agency(Andra)has begun a research programme aiming to demonstrate the relevancy of the French high-level waste(HLW)concept.This paper presents the programme implemented from small-scale(small diameter)boreholes to full-scale demonstration experiments to study the THM effects of the thermal transient on the COx claystone and the strategy implemented in this new programme to demonstrate and optimise current disposal facility components for HLW.It shows that the French high-level waste concept is feasible and working in the COx claystone.It also exhibits that,as for other plastic clay or claystone,heating-induced pore pressure increases and that the THM behaviour is anisotropic.G. 14Particulate matter pollution in Kunshan High-Tech zone: Source apportionment with trace elements, plume evolution and its monitoring显示文摘Particulate matter(PM) in the Kunshan High-Tech zone is studied during a three-month campaign. PM and trace elements are measured by the online pollution monitoring, forecastwarning and source term retrieval system AS3. Hourly measured concentrations of PM_(10), PM_(2.5) and 16 trace elements in the PM_(2.5) section(Ca, Pb, Cu, Cl, V, Cr, Fe, Ti, Mn, Ni, Zn, Ga, As, Se, Sr, Ba)are focused. Source apportionment of trace elements by Positive Matrix Factorization modeling indicates that there are five major sources, including dust, industrial processing, traffic,combustion, and sea salt with contribution rate of 23.68%, 21.66%, 14.30%, 22.03%, and 6.89%,respectively. Prediction of plume dispersion from concrete plant and traffic emissions shows that PM_(10) pollution of concrete plant is three orders of magnitude more than that of the traffic. The influence range can extend to more than 3 km in 1 hr. Because the footprint of the industrial plumes is constantly moving according to the local meteorological conditions, the fixed monitoring sites scattered in a few hundred meters haven't captured the heaviest pollution plume at the local scale of a few km^2. As a more intensive monitoring network is not operationally possible, the use of online modeling gives accurate and quantitative information of plume location, which increases the spatial pollution monitoring capacity and improves the understanding of measurement data. 19An international multicentric phaseⅢrandomized controlled trial of time-acupoints-space acupuncture for the prevention of chemotherapy-induced fatigue in patients with early stage breast cancer:a study protocol显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To determine the difference in prevention of chemotherapy-induced fatigue between time-acupointsspace acupuncture(ATAS)administered weekly compared to sham acupuncture and non-acupuncture in patients with early breast cancer receiving adjuvant chemotherapy by epirubicine-cyclophosphamide(EC)followed by paclitaxel,as measured by the multidimensional fatigue inventory(MFI)over the previous week and Visual Analogue Scale measuring fatigue(VAS-F),and to evaluate the effects of ATAS on selfreported neuropathy pain,sleep,anxiety and depression.METHODS:In this multicenter clinical trial,we have randomized patients into 3 groups:ATAS,Sham and nonacupuncture with an unequal randomization of 2∶1∶1.A cloud related electronical clinical report form and smartphone platform was established for data entry.Patients with a history of stageⅠ-Ⅲbreast cancer scheduled to receive adjuvant chemotherapy.Acupuncture will be delivered once a week during chemotherapy with VAS-F evaluation.In order to qualify and quantify the mechanism of fatigue induced by chemotherapy with or without acupuncture,an evaluation of immune profiling was incorporate in this study.RESULTS:The presence and seriousness of chemotherapy-induced fatigue should be considered in therapeutic programs for early breast cancer treatment.Fatigue induced by adjuvant chemotherapy in patients with breast cancer remains a major concern affecting the quality of life significantly.Unfortunately,we do not have effective pharmacological interventions yet.And clinical trials of acupuncture in preventing chemotherapyinduced fatigue in patients with early breast cancer have not been reported.CONCLUSION:The findings of the trial will allow us to determine the effects of acupuncture treatment approach.We will also be able to confirm whether ATAS is better than sham acupuncture and non-acupuncture treatments.Saghachian Mahasti Barry Caroline Asselain Bernard LI Yunfen NIE Jianyun LIU Dequan CHEN Dedian CHEN Chunxin Laura Estevez LI Wenhui Jean-Pierre Armand ZHU Miansheng JU Liya 2022Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2022,42,2:2
