1高功率激光二极管端面抽运复合晶体激光器的研究显示文摘在高功率激光二极管抽运固体激光器中,热效应已成为获得高输出功率和高光束质量的最大阻碍因素.用有限元方法研究了高功率激光二极管端面抽运Nd∶YVO4激光器中热透镜分布规律,提出了用复合晶体消除热透镜效应的方法.研究表明在端面抽运的传统单一Nd∶YVO4晶体激光器中,由于抽运功率密度很高,热透镜效应非常严重,由端面变形而造成的热透镜效应约占整个热透镜效应的50%;而采用复合晶体能够很好地消除由端面变形而造成的热透镜效应,同时得到很好的冷却效果,获得比采用传统单一晶体高出许多的基模输出功率和更好的光束质量.实验证明,采用复合结构晶体在23 W的抽运功率水平下得到了11 W的基模输出功率,光束质量因子M2 <1 5,光光转换效率达到48%.李志刚 熊政军 黄维玲 陈涛 Nicholas Moore G.C.Lim 2005中国激光2005,32,3:18
2榅桲总黄酮对自发性高血压大鼠心脏结构和功能的影响显示文摘目的研究榅桲Cydonia oblanga Mill.总黄酮对自发性高血压大鼠(SHR)心脏结构和功能的影响。方法大鼠分为模型组(SHR组)、卡托普利组[25 mg/(kg·d)]、杜仲平压片组[30 mg/(kg·d)]和榅桲总黄酮低、中、高剂量组[40、80、160 mg/(kg·d)]剂量组。WKY大鼠给予蒸馏水,作为正常对照组。灌胃给药16周后,进行超声心动图、心脏血流动力学和组织病理学检查,评价榅桲总黄酮对大鼠心脏结构和功能的影响。Masson染色后,光镜下观察心肌纤维化程度。结果超声心动图结果显示,与SHR组比较,榅桲总黄酮组左心室舒张末期内径、左心室收缩末期内径、室间隔厚度指数均有所降低,左心室质量、左心室质量指数、左心室质量/体质量比均明显减小,榅桲总黄酮中、高剂量组左心室内径缩短率、左心室射血分数增大,其中榅桲总黄酮高剂量组变化最大。血流动力学测定结果显示,与SHR组比较,榅桲总黄酮组收缩压、舒张压、左室收缩压、左室舒张末期压降低,室内压最大上升速率、室内压最大下降速率减小,收缩时间无明显变化,舒张时间延长,心率减小但无显著性差异。Masson染色结果显示,榅桲总黄酮高剂量组心肌纤维化明显减少。结论榅桲总黄酮可改善自发性高血压大鼠心脏功能,抑制心肌肥厚,并减轻心肌纤维化。周文婷 马虎 阿迪力.阿不都热合曼 邬利娅.伊明 MOORE Nicholas 艾尼瓦尔.吾买尔 2016中成药2016,38,11:4
3Do intra-operative fluids influence the need for post-operative cardiotropic support after a PDA ligation?显示文摘Objective To investigate the effect of intra-operative intravenous fluids on post-operative hemodynamic stability.Methods We performed a retrospective cohort study of 98 preterm infants who underwent a patent ductus arteriosus(PDA) ligation in one NICU between 2001 and 2007.The primary outcome was the need for cardiotropic support within 24 hrs of ligation.Results Twenty-seven infants(28%) required post-operative cardiotropic support.The amount of intra-operative fluids varied between 0 and 50.4 mL/kg(median:10.2 mL/kg).No intra-operative fluid was recorded in 26 patients.Fluids were not associated with the need for post-operative cardiotropic support(P=0.10).Using a multivariate logistic regression model,age at ligation,weight at ligation and pre-operative FiO2 were significant predictors of post-operative cardiotropic support.Conclusions Intra-operative fluids do not appear to be associated with the need for post-operative cardiotropic support.A prospective cohort study may help identify modifiable risk factors and improve outcomes in this population.Brigitte LEMYRE 刘玲 Gregory Paul MOORE Sarah Linda LAWRENCE Nicholas J.BARROWMAN 2011中国当代儿科杂志2011,13,1:2
4Generation of high energy and good beam quality pulses with a master oscillator power amplifier显示文摘A high efficiency and high peak power laser system with short-pulse and good beam quality has beendemonstrated by using a master oscillator power amplifier with two-pass amplification configuration. Themaster oscillator, end-pumped with a fiber-coupled laser diode array, provides low power but excellentbeam quality pulses, and the amplifier boosts the pulse energy by orders without significant beam qualitydegradation. 17榅桲总黄酮对自发性高血压大鼠血压和血管内皮功能的影响显示文摘目的:研究榅桲总黄酮对自发性高血压大鼠血压和血管内皮功能的影响。方法:自发性高血压大鼠分为模型组,卡托普利组(25mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1)),杜仲平压片组(30mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1)),榅桲总黄酮低、中、高剂量组(40、80、160mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1)),WKY大鼠作正常对照。灌胃给药16周,每2周测定血压1次,末次给药后分别测定血清内皮素-1(ET-1)、一氧化氮(NO)、内皮型一氧化氮合酶(e NOS)、超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)、丙二醛(MDA)及降钙素基因相关肽(CGRP)的含量,评价榅桲总黄酮对自发性高血压大鼠血压和血管内皮功能的影响。结果:与模型组比较,榅桲总黄酮各剂量组大鼠收缩压和舒张压均呈降低趋势,ET-1和MDA水平降低而NO、e NOS、SOD及CGRP水平均有不同程度升高(P<0.01,P<0.05)。结论:榅桲总黄酮可降低自发性高血压大鼠血压,作用机制可能与抑制血管内皮功能障碍,调节血管舒缩因子释放有关。周文婷 古再努尔.买买提 阿迪力.阿不都热合曼 邬利娅.伊明 Moore Nicholas 艾尼瓦尔.吾买尔 2017中华中医药杂志2017,32,3:1

20From hardware store to hospital:a COVID-19-inspired,cost-effective,open-source,in vivo-validated ventilator for use in resource-scarce regions显示文摘Resource-scarce regions with serious COVID-19 outbreaks do not have enough ventilators to support critically ill patients,and these shortages are especially devastating in developing countries.To help alleviate this strain,we have designed and tested the accessible low-barrier in vivo-validated economical ventilator(ALIVE Vent),a COVID-19-inspired,cost-effective,open-source,in vivo-validated solution made from commercially available components.The ALIVE Vent operates using compressed oxygen and air to drive inspiration,while two solenoid valves ensure one-way flow and precise cycle timing.The device was functionally tested and profiled using a variable resistance and compliance artificial lung and validated in anesthetized large animals.Our functional test results revealed its effective operation under a wide variety of ventilation conditions defined by the American Association of Respiratory Care guidelines for ventilator stockpiling.The large animal test showed that our ventilator performed similarly if not better than a standard ventilator in maintaining optimal ventilation status.The FiO2,respiratory rate,inspiratory to expiratory time ratio,positive-end expiratory pressure,and peak inspiratory pressure were successfully maintained within normal,clinically validated ranges,and the animals were recovered without any complications.In regions with limited access to ventilators,the ALIVE Vent can help alleviate shortages,and we have ensured that all used materials are publicly available.While this pandemic has elucidated enormous global inequalities in healthcare,innovative,cost-effective solutions aimed at reducing socio-economic barriers,such as the ALIVE Vent,can help enable access to prompt healthcare and life saving technology on a global scale and beyond COVID-19.Matthew H.Park Yuanjia Zhu Hanjay Wang Nicholas ATran Jinsuh Jung Michael JPaulsen Annabel M.Imbrie‑Moore Samuel Baker Robert Wilkerson Mateo Marin‑Cuartas Danielle M.Mullis Y.Joseph Woo 2022Bio-Design and Manufacturing2022,5,1:1
